Chapter two: cuddling and stares.

You knocked on their door and tried to stop yourself from crying, wiping off the tears with your shirt. The door opened, revealing Solomon. "Y/n?! LUKE! get the tissues and get Simeon!" He yelled and softly gripped your arms. He then picked you up bridal style and bought you inside. Setting you down on the couch, Luke and Simeon came into the room with a box of tissues. "Y/n! H-hold on I'll get you some water!" Luke hurried to the kitchen and bought you back a glass of water. He stood beside the couch and handed you the water as you nodded as a thank you.

"Now, could you tell us what happened?" Simeon patted your hair.

(After explaining because I'm lazy as hec-)

"Hailey lied?!" Solomon exclaimed. "Most likely, yes." You said and hugged your knees close to your chest. "We need to report this to Lord Diavolo." Simeon sternly said. "No! If we do it then it'll make more worst." You stopped him. "Hm, that is true." He sighed and sat behind you. His arms snaked around your waist and hugged you, placing his chin on top of your shoulders.

"Hey! I wanna cuddle with Y/n too! Yah!" He said as he jumped on top of you making you grunt softly. "Hm? What about me?" Solomon faked a pout as luke was now laying down on your stomach. "Nah you can be alone" you teased and let out a soft laugh. Solomon grinned and laid down between your legs. Simeon yawned, "This is comfortable.. Goodnight.." He said and slowly went to sleep. The three of you also went to sleep, cuddling in a comfortable position.

(Time skip)

When you woke up, you noticed Luke and Simeon weren't on the couch anymore. You opened your eyes and saw Solomon laying on top of you, half awake. "Mm?" He mumbled that seem to caught Luke's attention from the kitchen.

"Hmmm?? Are you guys awake?" He walked over the both of you and poked your cheek. You giggled, "yes we are Luke" looking at him, you see him smiling as Solomon slowly got up, offering a hand out for you. You accepted it and got up.

"Breakfast is ready!" Simeon said in a sing-song voice and placed plates with food on the table.

After breakfast, you washed the dishes with Solomon and took a quick shower and put on your R.A.D uniform. "You guys ready?" Luke called out from the living room. "Mhm!" You walked out with Solomon by your side.

The four of you arrived at R.A.D in time. The students stared and glanced at you, whispering: "wait is that Y/n?" A student whispered. "Wasn't she the one who sent a threat to the new human?" Another student whispered. This continued on your way to your class.

The four of you sat down before a voice stopped you, "Hey Y/nnnn~ I was going to sit there but can you sit somewhere else?" Hailey purred. You looked at her with full disgust, before you could snap at her, Simeon spoke up. "Oh I'm sorry, but on what I see was that Y/n was going to sit here first. So why don't you just sit somewhere else?" Simeon spat, trying to remain calm and not say anything further.

"Yes bu-" "She is sitting with us. Not you so just go sit somewhere else before this gets a bit more messy." Solomon snapped as Hailey let out a huff and walked away. You sighed in relief and sat down between Solomon and Simeon.

You could feel stares and glares on you. The brothers walked in, looking at you with disbelief. You ignored it and anxiously played with your fingers. Solomon reached out for your fingers to calm you down. You interlocked your fingers together with his, a smile plastered across your face.

After school, you walked with the four back home. "Hey guys, I'm gonna go talk to Lord Diavolo real quick, you can go first if you like" Simeon said and walked away. "You think he's gonna tell him?" You worried. "Simeon is loyal, I'm sure he wouldn't tell him" Solomon reassured and you nodded.

Meanwhile, with Simeon. He knocked on Diavolo's door, hearing a muffled 'come in'.

He opened the door and shut it. "Ah, Simeon, is there anything you want?" Diavolo smiled and looked at him. "Something like that yes," Simeon paused and sat down on a chair. "Lord Diavolo, is it okay if a exchange student lives with us?" He asked and rubbed the back of his neck.

Diavolo's eyes widen, "Yes, why?" He questioned. "I was wondering if Y/n could live with us?" Simeon answered. "Yes, but why? Did something happen?" Diavolo worried.

"Well, I really want to tell you but I can't. So, is it really okay for Y/n to stay with us?" Simeon placed his hands on his lap. "I suppose it won't be a problem... When is she going to move?"

Simeon smirked, "Tonight."

Solomon helps MC get closure

Spoiler alert: chapter 16 onwards

"It's another nightmare, MC." Solomon held you hand in the dark. "You're okay, you're here with me. You're safe."

You breathed slowly now, his arms protectively wrapped around you. "Sol...Solomon..." You whispered. He stroked your cheek in confirmation.

"I'm sorry the protection charm didn't work. I'll create a stronger one next time, MC." He apologized.

"It's not your fault, Solomon. You're not the one who put these memories there. It's them. Leaving that house was as far as I could get."

You sighed, looking out the open window. The House of Lamentation looked smaller from here, less threatening.

You had knocked on Solomon's window one night and he let you in. He held you tight as you broke down in tears. He'd never seen you this broken. And every other night since then, he woke up to you softly whimpering in fear. The memories never stopped haunting you.

The angered gazes, the mindless violence, the constant brushes with death and the final blow of feeling your life fade away...

"I think it's time they receive their punishment."

Solomon followed your gaze, a cold rage settling in his heart. He was already partial to you, being a fellow human. And now you won his heart by giving him your trust.

"Punish them? I never let myself think of it. There's seven of them and only one of me. And then there's Diavolo and Barbatos. Even Simeon is partial to Lucifer." You said, shaking your head.

"But you have complete control over seven of them. Even Lucifer." He smiled. "Now is the time for you to use your pacts, MC. Punish them as you see fit. I'll take care of any lesser demons that try to make a mess."

"Killing them won't be fair. I'm alive afterall." You hummed. The realisation that you held so much power and potential within you - it filled you with new found resolve. "What would you suggest?"

"An eye for an eye. A never ending illusion of death for an unwanted rebirth." Solomon smiled. He was excited now. It had been while since he'd done something this exciting.

"I love it. When do we start, Solomon?" You ask leaning on his shoulder.

"As soon as tomorrow, if you wish, MC." He pulled you close, placing a chaste kiss on your lips. You smiled. There was no reason for you to pretend anymore.

"It was a mistake." Satan gripped the book in his hand. His eyes burnt with restrained rage. "I told you it was a mistake."

"So did I! But none of yall listened to us, did ya?" Mammon's hands balled into fists. "MC hasn't been back for weeks, now!"

"And they haven't been talking to us at R.A.D. properly either. I hate this feeling. I want MC to go back to the way they were!" Asmo said, biting his freshly manicured nails.

Levi said nothing. He sat on the floor and kept punching buttons on his phone, his snake like gaze focused on Belphie sleeping on the couch. How dare he be so nonchalant about it...this is all...all because of him...

"Why are you looking at Belphie like that, Levi?" Beel walked over, standing in front of the couch, blocking Levi's gaze.

"It was a decision approved by the majority. Stop complaining about it now." Lucifer said, pulling at his collar. The tension in the room suffocated him.

He stood at the window, looking toward the house of Lamentation. Silently yearning.

"They replied. MC finally replied." Belphie spoke up finally, holding up his phone. They huddled together to get a glimpse of it.

"I'm coming back tomorrow. See you soon."

What was Diavolo thinking when he thought of inviting a new student; a sketchy one at that. None of the brothers more purgatory hall and even the castle members have even wanted to be near the new student, a eerie feeling whenever near her. You were skeptical of it at first, until the both of you hanged out a bit.

Rin was her name, she had long ginger hair, yellow to pink eyes and a beautiful smile. Some were envious of her looks, sure she made you insecure a lot but she brushed it off like she didn’t mean anything she said.

You used to like Rin, now you despise her, the way she has everyone wrapped along her fingers was starting to make you annoyed. Every rude comment the brothers made towards you were making you feel worse about your current appearance. The odd thing was how they all went from staying away from her to clinging onto her.

Here you were sitting at the table, picking at your omelette and toast, Rin had made it.

“MC, you know its rude to play with your food right?” Lucifer comments as he glares at you, you just roll your eyes in response as you cut a piece and take a bite. It tasted normal so you kept chewing, everyone left after Rin did. Not missing the sinister smile she gave you before she left you waved her off.

You put your dishes in the sink as you grabbed your bag and tossed it over one shoulder before making your way to RAD. You had Spells class first thing, you started to feel a bit dizzy as you made your way inside. Maybe grabbing a water bottle would help you thought while taking your change out & slipping it into the vending machine, putting the item number in. You grabbed it and took a sip before making your way into class, noticing two empty seats you sat in a table alone.

You took out your text books, and papers to write stuff down, the teacher arriving 5 minutes late. “We have a new student, his name is Hichiro. Make him feel welcomed.” you watch as a guy walks into the room; He has dark skin, black long curly hair, red eyes and pointed ears. He bows to everyone and walks towards your table with his hands in his pockets. “May I sit here with you?” he says as no expression goes on his face, you nod and he sits beside you.

Now that you have a closer look at Hichiro, he has two dragon tattoos on his neck and a design on his cheekbone, he’s also really tall. He smells of sweet citrus and rose, he really is beautiful in every way. He catches you looking at him as he laughs, bringing his hand out to you “It is quite rude for me to not introduce myself properly, my name is Hichiro. I am new here, as I am half demon and half human. What is your name?” You smile and shake his hand.

“My name is MC, it’s nice to meet you Hichiro!” He smiles as well and you guys let go of each others hands, looking back at the teacher as she gives instructions. Not much later in the middle of her explanation Mammon and Rin come in late, the teacher scolds them as Rin takes his hand and sits in a desk behind you and Hichiro.

When the teacher finishes explaining, you felt something cold land on your back, you start shivering as you look behind you only to see Rin standing, with your water bottle spilling onto your back. Hichiro notices this and snatches the bottle out of Rins hand, she stares at him in shock. “Haha! Don’t tell me you’re defending this weakling!” He grimaces at the way she calls you a name, scrunching the bottle into nothing. “Don’t call them weak, they haven’t done shit to you, you’re just an attention seeking brat. Go do that to someone else, i’m not letting you do anything bad to my friend.”

Rin scoffs and sits back in her seat, Hichiro leans towards you “Yo, you seem cold do you want my jacket?” you look towards him and nod slowly, he takes his jacket off, asking you to give him yours. You give him you wet jacket as you out on his warm jacket, the cologne smell on it. As the bell rings, the students leave snickering at Rins failed moment. Her and mammon storm off somewhere in the cafeteria.

“Are you sure I can keep your jacket until tomorrow?” You ask as you and him walk towards the cafeteria, he nods and gives you a thumbs up. “I’m sorry that happened. That girl seems annoying, does she always bug you?” As the two of you sit down, you let out a tired sigh, not getting much sleep due to Rin blasting music by your room on purpose. “I actually live with her.”

Hichiro pulls out a box, taking out two sushi rolls, sliding one towards you. “Must he exhausted, also you can have one of these in honor of being kind to me.” You thank him and start to eat it, laughing as he accidentally dropped a roll with his chopsticks. He blushes in embarrassment, looking to the side. You feel sick from the omelette earlier, holding your stomach you lean onto the table. He looks at you in concern.

“Uh MC, you look a bit pale. You need a drink?” you start to feel warm, looking at him while sweat beads onto your forehead, nodding. He quickly takes out his soda and gives it to you, your hands being wobbly, you fail to grab it. He noticed and opens it before pressing it to your lips, you slowly drink some and thank him as it brings some relief. “I heard about passing out and know you need a sugary drink to keep you active. We should go to the nurses after, lean on me until then.”

You almost hug his arm, clinging to him as you feel dizzy again. Your sight going blurry, the last thing you see is him looking at you in panic.
