Ive Already Covered This Topic In My Post About Emily Hiding Her True Self, But Imma Say It Again!
I’ve already covered this topic in my post about Emily hiding her true self, but imma say it again!
No, I don’t think that Adrien is a sentimonster.
And here’s why in a few points
•First if all, Adrien has his own mind and his own personality. Sentimonsters don’t.
•Adrien does not ALWAYS obey his father. Hell get out as Cat Noir and break the rules to have more freedom. Sentimonsters HAVE to obey, they work like that. They don’t have a mind of their own.
•Gabriel or Nathalie would have noticed it. Just like Nathalie felt the presence of Feast in the same episode.
•IF Adrien was a sentimonster, he would be dormant without a older, just like Feast. Now, Emily might be his holder, but since she died, he wouldn’t be able to have a mind of his own since she doesn’t control him anymore.
•About the ring. Adrien probably saw Gabriel play with his ring, and it reminded him of his lost mother. That’s why he let himself get akumatized, in the hope that he could see his mother again.
More proofs coming later.

okay i just genuinely need to know and i'm sorry if it comes across as salty
but why are people so disappointed that the reveal didn't happen and stick for real?
do people really think the characters is ready for a reveal? that the writers are prolonging it for funsies and not because the circumstances aren't right for it?
and do people really want the dynamic to change this drastically? do they not see that when the reveal does stick the show is never going to be the same?
and do they not like seeing all these scenarios? like if i am entirely honest i want to see all these reveals because i feel like once it's done it's done and i will be sad about not seeing any other possible situations and scenarios and confessions and shocks and how the environment/circumstances influence their actions
like i just don't get how people can be disappointed? i loved this reveal, yes, but it was NOT the right time and frankly there are so many other scenarios i want to see and i love getting a chance to explore them in the source material and not just in fanworks
Because I can already hear them whining about it: the problem wasn't that Chat Noir didn't listen to Rena Rouge, the problem was that he wasn't told the plan.
That's why he listened to Marinette. Not because he likes her or something but because she informed him of what Rena Rouge was planning.
The entire premise of miraculous ladybug centers on this idea of an eventual identity reveal. That's the core of the entire galaxy-brained concept. And the writers decided to maximize that by giving us what-if scenarios. So instead of building up to the one and only reveal, we get to see, in canon, multiple scenarios for how it could go. We've had the amnesia plot. We've seen Adrien find out first and we've seen Marinette find out first. I bet you anything next up is a simultaneous reveal and I don't even care if it sticks or not because writing all these different reveals into the plot is such a genius idea. We get to see every option, not just "the" option. I get that it's frustrating to have progress erased but you will never hear me complaining about getting "what if" episodes. How lucky are we that we get them at all?
Was there ever an analysis or theory you have read for a fandom you are in and it is really good but some parts of it are inaccurate/incorrect/incomplete etc. but you press "like" on the whole thing anyway instead of spending time reblogging talking about how you mostly agree with them but then list the small ways you add/correct/disagree with them about their post . . .
*inhale* *exhale*
So now its saved in your "likes" and you just see it as a post you mostly agree with but not fully and you just want to take/remove certain parts of that analysis or theory (or mostly just inject some of your thoughts into a reblog, just adding your take, or at least part of it, on the analysis) but you just don't?
If I had done this I would have had a lot more posts on my page.
Maybe I should just so I could voice some of my thoughts on the matter instead of just letting it bounce around in my head.
Don't want to stay complacent anymore in my regrets and make my thoughts known and speak for myself!
