[11:49] ~ Change ~

it was your fault and you knew that. you kept staying with him and that was your big mistake. you kept being naive, thinking he'll change and that was your worst flaw. because it didn't take long for you to figure out that Lee Minho wouldn't change for anyone.

so here you stood, in your shared bedroom, and you looked around. the room that you left clean and tidy was now a mess. the bedsheets were tangled up, books and papers were pushed off the desk that you worked on and clothes were scattered around the floor.

your head started buzzing. you weren't stupid, you knew what went down in this room god knows when before you came home. you put down your bag and listened to the silence in the house. the only sound was the shower running in the bathroom that was vice versa to your bedroom. but even that sound died soon after and was replaced by naked footsteps walking towards you.

"oh hey, babe" Minho said casually, ruffling his damp hair. the towel wrapped around his waist was the only fabric on his body, the rest being on display. god, if you wouldn't be mad at the boy you'd probably drool over his tanned, well-built body.

"hi" you said, no emotion grazing your tone.

minho soon realized in what condition your bedroom was and his eyes widened slightly.

"oh" he chuckled nervously. "i was looking for some documents babe, sorry for the mess imade" he said and walked towards your frame, wanting to wrap his arms around your waist.

you push him away. you had enough of the same damn lies all the time. soon you feel the tears building up in your eyes, threatening to spill even before saying anything.

"i want you" you say with a clenched jaw, poking his bare chest "to take your fucking stuff and leave. and i want that to happen now."

you hate how it pains you to throw him out. you hate how after all the times you sat in the bathroom, crying your soul out, he managed to make you feel something for him. and you hate looking at his pain-filled expression as his shaky hands try to hold yours.

"y/n... w-what do you mean..." he stuttered out, but you just shook your head and looked down. "i want you to get out Minho... now..." you took a shaky breath and continued "i'm sure there's someone that wouldn't mind taking you in" you nod at the messed up bed.

in that very moment Minho knew he lost you. his first ever love was now not his anymore and it was him, that was at fault for that. his head lowered in guilt and he did what you wanted him to.

Lee Minho took his things and left.

12:35 ~ always by your side ~

the insomnia was killing you. you were wiggling around in your sheets, forcing your eyes to close and trying to get your body to relax, but with no success. suddenly a pair of strong, bare arms wrap around your waist, pulling you against a broad chest.

“hey babe... can’t sleep?” chan’s raspy voice sounds into your ear.

you shake your head, giving him a clear response.

“sorry for waking you channie...” you mumble back, but he only tightens his grasp on you. his warm breath grazes the crook of your neck as he interlaces your hands.

“i’m by your side babe, no matter the circumstances” he says softly before kissing your skin gently and lying with you until you both drift off to sleep slowly.

A loop of Chan growling “Imma protect Stray Kids, do it for the squad, do it for the team” because… damn
