Literally it's so frustrating. Like I'm really expected to control my anger when people do things that push me into a corner, because they 'didn't mean to uwu' ? Fuck off

I've gotten better with my outbursts but sometimes it's like people are purposely testing me just to turn around and play angel baby victim.

It's very common for people to push those with demonised personality disorders to the end of their tether via manipulation, bullying, abuse, etc. and then get upset with them when they inevitably snap.

It happens a lot within the neurodivergent community, too! People spread lies about us, do things that purposely upset/trigger us and then when we start to get upset/stand up for ourselves/etc. it's "sEE??? we were right about them all along!!!!"

'I'm autistic and I understand gender!!' Cool, I'm autistic and also understand the concept of gender. However, my understanding of it may be considered 'atypical' due to the fact that perhaps I understand it more than the average allistic; I'm able to put two and two together that since gender is constructed, the way it presents can be abstract due to even the designated 'normal' boxes being abstract. And you know what? Some people may even classify my understanding as a lack of understanding because I don't see the societal construct as a rigid box with rules.

It's almost like autistic people aren't a fucking monolith; some autists will understand gender in a way that aligns with societal expectations, some will have a different understanding of gender, and some of us will just downright not understand it at all. Get your head out of your ass and realize the people who want autistic people dead, the ones who see us as lesser beings, don't care if you're a 'normal' gender or plantgender. The problem with us, in their eyes, is that we're not allistic. Simple as that.

Unfortunately, as far as personal experiences go, I only have my own experience (I can't shake the feeling that some of the people giving their 'experiences' on tumblr are trolls, and I don't want to fall for bait hdjdjd). For the time being, I'm asking around in discord servers I'm in to gather experiences. Gender is fucking weird; if there is an AFAB girl and they feel like a girl in a trans way, what the fuck are you gonna say to that person? 'Oh you're just cis lol' ? Fuck that. Of course though, that individual is perfectly allowed to use 'cis' as a descriptor if they so desire, that's the beauty of minding our own business when it comes to the identities of others.

You — and I cannot emphasize this enough — are VALID, and it doesn't even matter if others think you're valid, either. Your identity is not up for debate, identities don't have to be seen as 'valid' in order for someone to identify with them. I hope you can remember that when you have some fucker in your DMs or what have you crying about how your existence 'harms' the community (cuz they're wrong).
