it's like Harry Potter and Expelliarmus but more 2023
As a mage, your last test is to battle with another student with your magic. The only spell you memorize (before the duel) correctly is to summon craft glitter!

PLEASE, EVERBYTE, PLEASE
If we continue with the theory that Jake is the one who will delete all the messages in Moonvale, when he and the whole group return, it would be okay to get a little angry at him saying that he shouldn't have kept us away from our friends either, and that we'd understand if he just deleted his messages, we'd start an argument with him and Dan would say:
"Well, it looks like mom and dad are arguing"
🤣🤣
The key of having the perfect Hogwarts Houses nails:
Paint your nails pinky to thumb these colors: yellow, red, green, blue, your actual house's color. Write each house's initial with black/white nail polish.
Now here comes the twist:
By painting each individual color on these exact fingers, you'll realize a great meaning.
Pinky [yellow] – a Hufflepuff would never break Pinky Promises. They'll gather a lot trough life, and carry them to the grave.
Ring finger [red] – a Gryffindor would point up this finger when their partner would ask them a ridiculous favor, signaling no ring means no promises.
Middle finger [green] – a Slytherin uses this finger more than any of the other four, simply and elegantly telling you to fuck off. You're standing in the way of their life, on the bad side, might I add.
Index finger [blue] – a Ravenclaw would enjoy pointing at things, then give you a two hour long presentation why it interests them. Also kindly flatter you with how good they are at directions.
Thumb [your house's color] – you'll show this finger to signal other's everything's fine, including you. Each house would make this different. This is you, actually you. Embrace and love it.
!!! Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw could be reversed, as a Hufflepuff would selflessly help and point out things for you, and you can't trick a Ravenclaw, they know way more secrets than you !!!
rereading anything and everything you've written so far
reading as in both of a reader's and writer's persepctive
finding works that are in a similar theme, point of view as your story
reading anything and everything, because that's how you gain further ideas, developments
writing down random ideas in a notebook you carry around/have in your phone. don't plan them out, let it be random and messy, you'll understand it, don't worry
allow yourself to daydream, and when you get that feeling you have to write it down, no matter how far it is in the story or isn't even relevant to it, then freaking write it down. you'll thank yourself later
analyzing old works of yours, pointing out the developments, results, styles, changes you went trough
Things that are still writing even if you don't think they are (an incomplete list)
thinking about a story
creating a new document
brainstorming
researching
thinking of a title
explaining your story to someone else
reading other stories and noticing things like word choice, sentence structure, plot development, characterization
thinking of a great line that doesn't have a story yet
getting a picture in your mind that you want to put into words someday
being inspired by others, even if you don't know what to do with that inspiration yet
making notes about how you want to tag your work
editing
cutting out lines or scenes that don't work
stopping work on something that isn't working right now
starting over
writing a summary
rewriting something you've written before
apparently your book will not be written if you keep daydreaming about writing that said book
