Narrated Shaddad bin Aus:
The Prophet (ﷺ) said "The most superior way of asking for forgiveness from Allah is:
The Prophet (ﷺ) added. "If somebody recites it during the day with firm faith in it, and dies on the same day before the evening, he will be from the people of Paradise; and if somebody recites it at night with firm faith in it, and dies before the morning, he will be from the people of Paradise."
— Sahih al-Bukhari 6306
Salman al-Farisi (May Allāh ﷻ be pleased with him) reported:
“Verily, on the day Allāh ﷻ created the heavens and the earth, He ﷻcreated one hundred parts of mercy. Each part can fill what is between the heavens and the earth. He ﷻ made one part of mercy for the earth, from which a mother has compassion for her child, animals and birds have compassion for each other. On the Day of Resurrection, He ﷻ will perfect this mercy.”
—Prophet Muhammad ﷺ | Sahih Muslim 2753
Sufyan Ibn 'Uyaynah رحمه الله said:
"He whose sin is due to desire, then have hope for him; and he whose sin is due to pride, then fear for him. Because Adam (alayhi al-Salam) sinned due to desire, and he was forgiven; and Iblis sinned due to pride, and he was cursed."

Al-Uthaymīn رحمه الله said:
“When a person is at home then it is from the Sunnah,
that for example he makes his own tea,
cooks if he knows how to and,
washes up that which needs washing,
all of this is from the Sunnah.
then you get the reward of following the Sunnah, with imitating the Messenger ﷺ
and in humbling yourself for Allaah - the Mighty and Majestic.
This also brings about love between you and your wife...
When your family sense that you help them in their chores
they will love you and your value to them will increase,
therefore, this will end up being a great benefit.”
[Sharh Riyadh As-Sāliheen, (3/529)]
The whispers of my heart hushed into pitiful whimpers unknown to the world outside,
The crestfallen desires, longing for a sweet scent shut down by the ruthless , their attempts fortified.
A cry for help, my every breath utters
My brain explodes , the heart splutters
It isn't the same anymore.
For many this covenant seemed to be immersed into a pot of gold,
However my yearning for a silver contour isn't too bold.
You say that you love me? Is it true?
But you fail to understand me? Who are you?
No, you aren't the same anymore.
The quaking sight — dejected sighs and weeping eyes
I embraced myself, allowed myself to drift into peaceful slumber
Where the happiness may last for a while, the face beams, the heart joys and the tear dries
To exist like this in the real world, the urge never dies.
Why isn't it the same anymore?
Poor heart aching for a mess which wasn't deserved
The eternal peace shall be preserved
The clueless stumbling upon a dark night
Waiting for a light to shine so bright.
Perhaps, it was the same?
The shivering hands, lips quavered and uttered a shriek so loud.
The movements ceased, the heads turned, enough to pull a crowd.
Nobody seemed to care, what a selfish world we live in!
I stand there with my heart stone cold and a despair disguised as a smile.
My heart isn't the same anymore.
