Was Thinking About CCs Train And Shit When It Hit Me. There Are A Few Commanders, Such As Monnk, Jet,

Was thinking about CCs train and shit when it hit me. There are a few commanders, such as Monnk, Jet, Blackout, and Hound (he’s a cc to me) who would have to be trained alone or with CT’s, since their specialty requires so much work.

So, I have come with an idea. Since the standard week is 5 days, 3 of the 5 are spent in specialized classes. They’d do their flash training and then be taken by other trainers. They would train with a squad of others, and put in charge.

For Hound, since it’s a special case of having a Massiff buddy. Those three days are set together and Grizzer would stick with him all day, and night. To strengthen their bond, they would spend off time together and Hound would have his official trainer (an Mandalorian) set Grizzer in the bunk with him. This was a not great idea for some massiffs but Grizzer loved the pod and would wiggle like hell when the Alpha picked him up.

I can just imagine, Monnk coming back to his squad from specialized training soaking wet and cold. Having his Alpha help him peel off the dry suit before he goes to bed. Talking all about the fun things he learned and saw with his Mandalorian trainer. Actually, I headcanon that Monnk and his trainer got along incredibly well is basically adopted by the Mandalorian. Monnk got his name and the sea dragon across his armor from the Mandalorian. (I also headcanon that Dred Priest hated the Mandalorian and reconditioned Monnk to get at him. Dred ended up in a bacta tank and the Mandalorian retaught Monnk everything from scratch. (Monnk was about 3 standard at the time.))

Jet scared the shit out of his trainer with how well he was able to control the flame. He was also taught what alternate fuels could be used on different planets and Jet got so interested he found all the options he could on Kamino (only 2) and he switched out the fuel, Pyro (my OC) was all to happy to help. They both were found sitting on the floor with the flamethrower between them, quietly watching the flames. Turns out, all of the flame troopers either had or developed pyromania to *some* degree. The trainer in charge was quite happy to find out about this as he had a severe case himself and was all to happy to indulge his troopers under the excuse of teaching the troopers.

Blackout is a special operations clone trooper, trained for stealth operations and piloting. While he did not have a super close bond with his trainer, they both still enjoyed each others company and considered each other friends. Blackout is one of the few who was already good at lying, but his training made him the best (better than even Fox, which he is very proud of). He wasn't as close with as many of his troopers due to their numbers being quite large, but he (like the rest of the spec ops troops) does his best to instruct and learn about his troopers in their short time together.

Bacara, though not recieving any special training, caught the eye of a Concord Dawn Mandalorian who took him for special Marine training for one day a week. It would be till later when they decided to have a Marine Corps that he would become the specialist.

Hound has been a little hard to pin down but I’ve figured it out, he’s a bit more jaded version of Hagrid

I feel like we need to appreciate Thire more, so this is for you buddy (other commanders are mentioned bc they have to be)

Thire is 9 at the start of the clone wars and quickly rises the ranks

He is very temperamental but has developed a certain patience that makes him seem calm

He is fact not calm and has a short fuse; he just bottles it up and will make your life a living hell through mild annoyances

Think of a robber who steals your tv remotes batteries, except he steals all the batteries in the house and makes buying any more batteries horrible and trying experience

Many GAR commanders are afraid of him and those that aren’t should be

Of the commanders group he is the ‘angry asshole’

Fox is ‘tired/bitch/rude asshole’, thorn is the ‘nice asshole’, hound is ‘obnoxious asshole’, and stone is ‘quiet/creepy (he stares a lot to convey his displeasure) asshole’

Thire is in charge of Senator escorts, specializing with off world missions. He works closest to Thorn who oversees the senate and the least with Stone (oversees the prison)

He has the most contact with the Jedi and somehow became Yoda’s favorite, getting specific requests for him

He has mixed feelings bc Yoda’s not bad company but he’s used as a sort of chair the whole time?

Since he’s the youngest, the others are very protective of him and this does annoy him but he loves with it

Make no mistake, Thire will easily commit murder

Stones face is all kinds of messed up, he’s missing a cheek on his left side exposing the teeth from a mad Trandosian during a riot turned mass escape attempt (they failed)

He keeps his head shaved because of the patchy growth around scars

He’s got so many scratch marks and chunks missing from things like that

This also applies to the rest of the Prison Guard, they are the most scarred group of corries

The prison has ARC troopers on staff constantly to discourage (they have taken down many a prisoner and use unconvential weapons to do it) riots and escapes

Though they rotate, ARC Trooper Whip is the only ARC who is a permanent fixture

Like his name suggests, he uses whips and is *incredibly* skilled with them, they are also electro whips (he can control whether they use electricity or not)

Hound is very bad with people and is the kind of person who can like perfectly understand animals

Thire has a mean streak and finds scaring newbies and visitors incredibly hilarious

His favorite massif is Runt (an exotic breed that’s twice the size of a normal massif (about 6’ standing on his hind legs)) and twwith the handler Trigger (has a height defect, being 2.5 in smaller than standard)

Both are pretty chill and Runt is especially lazy so they are free to get his victims the most

Runt looks scary as his spines are much longer and sharper, with an extra row of teeth and darker skin

This includes using sleeping ARF and massiffs to do so. He did this by getting his victim to wake up an ARF trooper. However, they often sleep with massifs. Often with their spines toward outside for defense and the person against the wall to watch for enemies. If they smell you first, they will bite your hand. So, Thire watches as deep and angry growl comes from the darkness and the shriek that comes from his victim.

Thire has a problem with the CSF often coming in on MP matters or dumping non MP matters onto them

Once a bomb went off incredibly close to 79s, a hole was put in the wall and several were injured. A Guard Clone duo was blasted through the wall and the medics who had been drinking were pulled away into keeping them alive

CSF shows up and is like ‘not important, blah blah’. Everyone is obvi pissed and eventually Thire arrives to deal with it

He just straight up says ‘you’re impeding an military investigation of a terrorist bombing. Move or you will be arrested and criminal charges will be pressed.’

Freaks of the Corscant Guard Part One

Slick in the CG:

So obvi Fox saves Slick from decommissioning and is like ‘u work for me or die’

Slick chooses life and is like ‘what’s needed’

Fox doesn’t trust slick like at all, so he is forced to wear a shock collar and has a tracker implanted that’s attached to his intestines (slick doesn’t know where it is only that it’s there)

Slick essentially does Fox’s dirty work and he doesn’t mind, fox isn’t a bad boss at all

Slick becomes a part of the ‘crazies’ squad which is made up of a Psychopath (psycho), a sociopath (socio), a narcissist (narc), a pathological liar (false), and a serial arsonist who burned several natborns (burn)

All of them have trackers in them (diff locations) but burn is the only one who has a collar as well

Slick does enjoy these partners and their craziness

Psycho and socio are the only ones who’ve left the planet and worked with other squads

Fox has gotten them to cooperate by making the squads in question ‘their’ pets

Despite what that means, Socio and Psycho like their pets happy and healthy so completing the mission and keeping them all alive is perfect for their pets

Socio prefers to be alone so often solo missions on Coruscant that are off the books

Psycho enjoys working with new pets and has actually been able to keep one

On an off world mission, Psycho was given charge of a squad with the 41st

It went bad and Psycho was only able to save one pet (he was very upset at his pets being taken), a shiny that survived

The shiny (that Psycho named Baby) had asked for a transfer after the mission and Neyo decided to just let Fox have him

After all, if Baby liked Psycho and wanted to be his vod’ika, there must be something really wrong with Baby

Psycho was absolutely delighted to have a permanent pet! Usually, he kept pets for the length of the mission and then satiated with solo off the books missions on Coruscant

Psycho wanted nothing more than his pet to be happy and healthy, otherwise he’d look like a bad ori’vod and Baby would become a broken toy (no one likes a broke toy)

Baby (under Stone’s command) is given similar shifts as Psycho, well he has the same break times and days off. Otherwise he’s in the prison

Narc hates Baby, as Baby takes away attention from him (as Baby is something new and taking all of Psychos attention)

Narc ends up tormenting Baby when Psycho isn’t around which Psycho catches on too

Baby, who now sees Psycho as a safe place, ends up developing a dependency on Psycho that’s extreme when he’s not on shift

When he’s working, he’s fine, but when he’s free, he’s attached to psycho like a tumor

Slick likes Baby and attempts to get Fox to stop Narc (bc he’s not getting involved in that, no way) and leaves it at that

False gets along very well with Narc, as he is a great liar and has no problem inflating Narc’s ego

False mostly does info handling and spec ops, as he’s a great liar and it’s practically impossible to tell what’s the truth and a lie

It’s not hard for commanders to get the truth from him though, as False is entirely trustworthy and normal besides his lying

The problems only came when troopers stopped trusting him, not understanding that False pathologically lies when the information either doesn’t matter (so he’s lie through entire conversations) or he’s deflecting (captured and asked for info) but when it comes to commanders and brothers lives on the line, he’ll be truthful

Burn is surprisingly the odd ball of the group, as he gets along with everyone and no one

He’s likable enough but he has a habit of going absolutely psychotic around fires and sometimes he just wants to watch something burn

Occasionally they’ll get the rare ‘this is wrong, we shouldn’t be doing this’ shiny. These shinies unfortunately have the rudest awakening and are therefore always the baby brothers of Guard.

After their rude awakening, they can become the most jaded but many enjoy the baby-ing, as they get most of the contraband (ie puddings and fuzzy blankets).

Nevertheless, the switch between rule-follower to public menace/terrorist-to-senators/will-murder-the-chancellor makes them the most willing to do the insane jobs.

We need more of the Commanders do the Coruscant Guard corrupting the shinies.

They Shinies come in with expectations which are quickly shattered. They’re sad and scared so their big brothers come in and help them live in the hell hole of Coruscant.

So what if they blackmail and embezzle money? They get fluffy pillows and blankets.

Oh, the commanders have the Hutts and bounty hunters in their pockets? Well, prove it.

These shinies love and adore their big brothers. They aren’t afraid to stand up to anyone for them, be it captain, ARC, Alpha, or General

Brought to you by the song ‘Evil like me’ from Descendants

me seeing new coruscant guard hcs that make everyone suffer makes brain go brrrrrrrrrr

another trope inversion of GAR/Guard interactions:

the GAR is entirely aware that Coruscant is a shit posting.

they're not blind; they can see all the anti-clone sentiment when they're on leave. even when they're deployed, it's not like they're cut off from all news - they know how many times bills for clone rights have gone to the Senate floor and been ruthlessly voted down. they can see how even their Jedi are restrained by the Senate dragging its feet and making bad choices and handling the war like it's a game of dejarik since it will never affect them personally.

very few politicians have the respect of the clones.

but the Guard still have to work with the spoiled, self-centered bastards, and the GAR knows that they're not being treated well. but what can they do? they have no rights, the Jedi are as trapped under the Senate's thumb as they are, and it's not like they can get regular citizens to do anything.

so they offer their support as much as they can. any Guard, any Corrie who needs help, all they have to do is find one of their brothers and it will be offered without any questions.

you'd think that crime rate would go up when battle-traumatized soldiers are given leave on a city-planet like Coruscant, but it actually goes down.

way down.

the thing criminals come to realize is that if you are being chased by one of the Guard, if ANY other clone catches sight of you, it is ON SIGHT. clones in casual clothes carrying food and drinks have dropped everything to immediately join a Guard's hunt, throwing themselves into the pursuit with glee and an energy that the usually-exhausted Guards often lack. (some of them howl. those, the criminal underground agrees, are the worst.)

and with hundreds or thousands of clones wandering around during battalions' leave, it's possible to run into one of them anywhere. and they usually travel in packs.

best just to lay low for a while.

when it leaks that the Guard regularly run low on supplies, all sorts of things start to go missing on the venators. just a box or a crate here or there, ration packs or bacta patches or cold-weather gear. there are millions of clones and thousands of ships; it's not like every little thing can be tracked by the quartermasters.

(rex realizes that, for whatever reason, his battalion is always prioritized for resupply, and rarely any questions are asked about their requisitions. rex takes immediate and shameless advantage of this. rex manages, somehow, to lose two entire bacta tanks, along with the bacta to fill them.)

and ofc the idea that started this whole ramble - when a shiny Corrie stumbles somewhere where some of the 501st are shooting the shit, causing everything to immediately come to a halt. the kid is clutching his helmet and one of his pauldrons to his chest; his hair is mussed up and there are tears on his cheeks and bruises on his face and unadulterated panic in his eyes.

there's an angry call in the corridor.

the shiny flinches.

fives grabs him, hears him squeak, snaps out orders. echo yanks off his bucket and his upper armor; jesse lunges for a blanket. they hustle the kid into a chair, drape the blanket over his lower body, hastily swap his upper armor and helmet for echo's. fives shoves the armor somewhere, doesn't matter, it's out of sight with the telltale red, and they all barely have enough time to drop themselves back into the chairs arranged around the table and pick up their cards before some natborn stomps into the room.

anything we can do for you, sir? sorry, no, the Guard didn't stop in here. we saw him head back down toward the rotunda, though. yes, sir. have a nice day, sir.

they close and lock the door. fives goes back to the shiny. fives was instantly prepared to help a fellow clone in need.

fives was not prepared for tears.

the kid gets snot all over the inside of echo's helmet. they take him back to Guard HQ. fox is painfully, desperately relieved to see him. fox looks too-thin and too-tired but there is a fresh GAR-issued bacta patch covering a slash across the side of his cheek. he thanks them for saving the shiny, like that's something that ever needs gratitude, but is swept away before any of them can say that.

fives doesn't think that misplaced bacta and pilfered rations are enough support for the Guard anymore.

thankfully, rex and the rest of the GAR agree.
