So I Have This Bit Of Writing That I Thought Was Hilarious, But Sadly, It Got Scrapped Along With The

So I have this bit of writing that I thought was hilarious, but sadly, it got scrapped along with the whole first attempt at the fic I'm writing, but I still want people to enjoy it, so imma just drop it here;

Nightwing sat there. Cross-legged applesauce on the chair. He was looking right at him with so much mischief written across his partially covered face that Marvel’s stomach did more than one funny flip. Trying to keep calm, Billy smiled as he took his hands off the keyboard, laying them on the chairs armrests as he sat deeper and leaned back into the chair while turning towards the blue bird. “Hey there! Need help with something?” He tilted his head as he offered, playing nonchalant about the situation. 

“You know, Batman once tripped on his own cape?” The smaller man said so suddenly he might have as well slapped Captain.

“Wha-”

“And he cried last month after he had to be put on some heavy pain killers after a serious injury because Red Robin called him “Dad” in panic.” Nightwing cut off the shocked hero. “Just last week, a villain managed to escape him because the laces in his new boots weren’t properly secured, and he tripped on those too.” He ignored the expression of horror growing on Marvel’s face and instead leaned in to whisper. “He can perfectly dance Cha-cha even without the music.” Apparently, the fading of colour in a fellow hero’s face was something that only encouraged the hero of the night. “He adopted so many similar looking kids I’ll bet my yearly salary that if another black-haired blue-eyed kid showed up at his house, he wouldn’t even notice.” 

Was this some sort of psychological warfare? A tactic from Batman to see who is the instigator of most of the gossip? Did he want to see how Billy manages to deal with stress? To see what he would do with possible blackmail? What sort of plot could the Gothamites have to do this? It felt like forever but also an instant as he stared at Nightwing. Did he expect something, anything? Some sort of reaction? Captain had so many questions, but none could leave his lips, so he went with the easiest one: “Why?”

“Nobody here knows anything about you, and you don’t pry into anybody’s business here.” Nightwing began. “You’re an immortal being of magic as far as people are aware. In the end they trust you with their lifes but believe me, they don’t always believe you. There are bets going on about which ones of your reports are actually just you pulling their leg. If you now went and told them everything I just said, word for word, they wouldn’t believe you because apart from the aforementioned point, they are also sure I already left.” The face of the smaller man was serious as he explained. 

“Then… then why? What’s the point?” Billy was still in a serious state of shock. He didn’t even comprehend what Nightwing said other heroes thought of him. It just flew over his head. 

The grin on the hero in black was almost wicked as he answered simply. “I felt like causing a bit of mischief.” He then just uncrossed his legs in one fluid motion and gracefully stood up. “Anyway, good talk! Can I have your name, Captain?”

So yeah, there was a bit before and after when it comes to this, lol

Do whatever with the idea, enjoy.

It was really fun exchanging ideas! Making it work both in the universe and plot wise

A Marvel Family Fantasy AU

A few days ago, I randomly dreamt of Drawing Billy and Tawny in a fantasy setting.

Billy was this kid wizard and Tawny was his companion (or an animal to ride on like a horse)

Then it got me thinking, maybe in this setting, Mary could be someone of high status in this fantasy setting (since she's in a rich family in the golden age comics)

I'm inclined to think Freddy would be a captain of a ship for irony-sake but I have a feeling pirates and fantasy settings don't match well?

It's just funny for me to think of him with a peg leg xD

Maybe Billy and Mary were prince and princess separated by birth, (i'm not sure if its a kidnapping or the baby got lost on his own) but the wizard founded billy and trained him.

At the ripe age of (insert young age below a teenager's), The wizard decided to grant him the power of shazam to turn him into the world's mightiest Wizard!

Captain Marvel!

Wizard dies and then Billy and Tawny have adventures together, maybe helping people along the way (maybe somehow found out that Mary is his sister :p idk)

“ I think you could go angst if you made the wizard get brutally hurt in a battle to protect Billy and the rock of eternity so in a last ditch effort he transports the rock to its own pocket of existence and then giving Billy powers of shazam because its as ready as he'll be able to make the kid :) and it's his last effort for Billy to be protected even if he has to do so himself because he has failed :)) made Billy cry as Wizard turns into dust in Billy’s hands :)))”

Uncle marvel can be a con-man/thief who took pity on Billy or realiz, teaching Billy that the world isn't always honest and he's like, "Billy, don't always give money to the poor on the streets, sometimes they faked their illness to be lazy”

Uncle: "No, the hell he doesn't!”"

How Billy Met Freddy

Billy probably met Freddy in a bar fight. How did the kid get into a bar?

Billy looked at the man exiting the pub with a bottle.

Billy: Ohh! So this is where you get refreshments here! I wonder If they have enough Milk for Tawny..

Pub sign written NO KIDS ALLOWED!"

*Billy can only read magic scrolls and not regular alphabet*

Cue him meeting Freddy (who's armwrestling with one of the people there)

(Insert Bar fight for some reason because The child decided to drink a white cocktail thinking it was milk and the fact that Billy is a Kid)

“Freddie is definitely that kid having his ass thrown out of the bar/pub/inn”

I'd like to think he and his brother are a team, prolly sailed a ship together.

“Yes, they target slave ships. Unless you wanna go different routes. Then, he is focused on certain nations' flags that have a whole lot of red in them

Also, he goes to the bars just to start bar fights over drunks being mean/nasty to the landlady. The landlady doesn't appreciate it bc now she has a broken table and four broken chairs”

Freddy faces the Captain Nazi equivalent of a pirate [Captain Arian? Like Aryan?] XD, Freddy lost his leg the same way, from his encounter with Captain Arian.

Kit (probably a necromancer or a ghost who's cursed to be bound in the ship Freddy's in, making Freddy more attached to the ship) can still summon crewmembers.

Maybe they both meet mary during the birthday ceremony parade

Maybe Mary snuck off from her family (disguise herself as a regular girl, i know, generic plot) and then meet Billy accidentally

Billy: It's my birthday today!

Mary: What a coincidence! It's mine too!

The-brash-spud: “Billy, in his innocence, thinks ,"There must be something to us sharing birthdays!" While Freddy calls him stupid, Billy tries to get a look at the princes and then cue the lung-fu panda rocket incident, but maybe something else more fitting with Freddy being pulled along”

On an unrelated note, i think Billy knew about Freddy's peg legafter either a pirate slashed it clean and Freddy just used it to bonk his head.

Billy is still screaming from the shock and immediately casted healing spells (i'd like to think everything about billy is lightning based- so yes getting struck by lightning is a healing spell for him :D) Freddy got shocked lmao

And what about boarding Tawny on the ship?

Billy:"Please???"

Freddy: "I'm not letting a tiger into my ship."

Kit who absolutely adores animals: "YES"

Freddy:"NO!”

Kit:" Does he love belly rubs??"

Billy:" yes but you have to ask him politely for his permission-”

Freddy rolled his eyes, realizing he has to clean cat fur everyday off from the furnitures.

How did Mary, a royalty tag along with a kid wizard and a pirate?

“Yeah, I guess forced separation would work better. Hell, go with a scenario that will allow them to have Mary with the parents' blessings as long as she's kept safe (she isn't, but that's because she is the danger herself)”

Mary and Billy: "Yay adventure"

Freddy: "Oh great, now I have to take care of two kids and a tiger in my ship!?"

*Freddy looking at Kit and the kids + a tiger playing together, kit seems happy*

Freddy: "...i guess it's alright..”

How Freddy and Mary found out about the wizard?

“Hmmmm, maybe Billy takes them to the rock because they were in a pickle, and unforeseen effects happen?

They got surrounded maybe?

"You were raised by THE Wizard!? THE Wizard?! A Wizard of legends so often told he is recognisable even if his name was lost?!"

Lowkey setting up the general plot tumblr tags style is so genuinely helpful??? You can say what's happening and then the mood either directly or by memes and just go with general stuff without the worry for detail, and then you can rewrite it with actual intent of it being more put together. Like:

Watching the batman animated series from 1992 and the world building in that one would and fucking should make modern batman jealous.

Gotham then was it's own weird ass place. There were night alarms and shit during which nothing but bad shit, cops and batman were willing to be out during. Surrounded by nothing but mountains, seas, woods and planes because nothing wanted to be near it. The city was all tall ass building and was full of high highways and random water canals and other questionable design choices for high terrorism area.

Now it's new jersey or something lame like that

Don't even get me started on more specific architecture between the cool Gotham and the lame Gotham

Honestly, if I ever got Isekaied into a DC universe I'd do so much silly stuff.

Start a podcast that swings between 'true heartfelt spoken letters to what makes a hero in my heart and what struggles they may have, but they continue for us' and conspiracy theories that are so incredibly incorrect the heroes publicly beg me to stop. And I mean stuff like claiming aliens aren't real, but Batman is a cryptid. I would do them at random with no way of telling, which is which until you listened in and found out for yourself.

Cause chaos in Gotham by openly talking shit about villains/companies/individuals who deserve it. Start with Joker just to hope mf will track me down just so I can show him the yee old fuck around and find out. If there happens to be one of the Riddlers plans that I remember, imma get my ass purposefully kidnapped and solve the whole bitch before he had any real fun and then if I know that bats can hear me snitch the location. If it happens to be in the current comic time, track Jason's ass down and flirt with him with the most unhinged pickup lines I can think of (he is in my age range, and oh lord, have you seen him? I don’t expect him to actually be interested in any romance back, but I'd still have a good time). Tell Bruce I know his secret then say that lowkey if Batman was my age I'd also sleep with him but don't make enough to be a sugar mama.

Refuse any interviews until the daily planet sends someone and then be like "me no likey that person 🥺👉👈" until they send Clark and then talk really ungodly things about Superman before the real interview, then say something like "honestly of you stood straighter and lost glasses you probably could be him but that would be just silly haha. Imagine if I just said all that right to Superman himself." All casually just to watch him try to laugh it off as he dies inside.

Say to Oliver that his beard reminds me of Green Arrow's beard. How they generally seem to have similar personalities in a way that would make them great bros if they ever got to meet. Tell Flash to stop fucking jumping between universes/timeliness and all other in between because there are Gods and one of them is surely in charge of that shit. Hal happens to flirt with me when I visit his city? Hell yeah time to fuck with him. Write down that "Batman says you have reports to write" and do his disappearing act. Look at all of the exhibision Diana was involved with. See what stuff she likes to work with. If I happen to meet her talk military history, if she knows it.

Avoid Martians at all cost. No offence to them, but I'm not giving them an existential crisis because I happened to think of their world in comic book terms.

If it's the universe in which Billy is homeless, try to adopt him like you would a street cat. Get him close by offering food and shelter. But if he does allow me to be his guardian, I will have to be straight with him that I know about Marvel and then say that I have meta-knowledge and hope he understands it as me being a meta that can just access random information.

The Justice League would probably be on my ass real fucking quick but I'd have a good time while they try to figure out what is up with me.
