I'm talking DC, mainly about Billy and shamelessly so feel free to message me or give me an ask! I'd love to interact more with others!

I have this headcanon that Billy ages slowly right? Born like 100 years ago and still a child bla bla bla-
Anywas-that is kinda just a base for many diferent concepts I come up for Billy. One of them being the "Whiz Kid Conspericy"tm
Basically it gose like this. Whiz kid is a special thing the station dose every few year at the turn of every new decade. The character of a child reporter is played by many diffrent little boy's through out the years all playing the character of "Billy", each one lasting for a few years before leaving for his birthday party and coming back a few years later replaced by a new kid and now one year older and a persona shift to match the new decade claming "I got a new style on my break". The catch? Its actually just Billy pretending to be a new person everytime.
Sure, some people know like Mr. Sterling and maybe a reporter or two, but no one else knows its the same kid. Which leads to a lot of conspiricy theorys about who the actors where or how the station picks their kids or hiw rye heck the kids look so similar. This end up being one of the things that bring Billy the most joy and pain, cause everyone knows of his exsistance with it being so ingrained into Fawcetts culture, but Its also super fun for him to disapear and come back as a new person every decade. Sure fhere where a few times where the station was handed over to a new owner and they tried to make the "Whiz Kid brand" more active with merch and dirty profiting schems, but and adult Cissie and Billy managed to take care of that quickly.
This idea works best if the people of Fawcett aged normally but if you want, you can also just imagien half of the city is in on it while the other have no clue.
Its even funnier imagening the JL's reaction to what Billy has been doing for almost a centry.
Batman: let me get this straight, you convince multiple generations of people you where different people playing the same character?
Billy: It Was Funny!
Superman a.k.a Clark the reporter:...Yk, I used to listen to your radio segments back in the 80's
Billy a.k.a the teenager emberrassed about past works: Nooooooo, the 80's was such a bad time! My mircophone was horrible and my script was terrible
Superman: But it was so good!
Thank you for indulging my bullshit, I might draw Billy during the diffrent decades or maybe a time line later.
Not having targeted adds is wild.
I'll get some Muslim add, then Domino's add, then add about Gaza, then some video game, then sex-toys adds, then something else completely again.
Crazy stuff out there in the world
This feels like that very niche joke about slapping a table and your atoms aligning perfectly for your hand to go through
???...
welcome to the justice league? lightning bros? idk but
New rule, whenever you have a cult wanting to sacrifice Billy, you give them a name that gives them the acronym DC for shits and giggles
Actually? Any cult wanting to sacrifice any kid, for that matter, needs to have an acronym DC in this fandom
Example: Destruction Coven
DC: How can we show people that this world is BAD and EVIL and the WORST POSSIBLE TIMELINE?
Everyone else: Maybe you could show more desolate landscapes
Everyone else: You should show how corrupt the government is!
Everyone else: Oh, you should have all the good characters be evil and the bad characters be good!
DC: I hear you, I hear you, but we need something better— something FLASHY!
*Billy Batson just ✨existing✨*
DC: …Let’s nuke the kid.
Billy would definitely be talking mad shit about (almost) all gods to JL. Wherever it is ancient, old, or new drama, and by now picking up habits from those gods and being opinionated himself about the whole situations to mainly Aquaman's -bc poseidon- and Wonder Woman's -bc most female gods- dismay.
The whole thing would've gone to a head when Marvel again says shit about poseidon for almost sinking all of Japan again -honestly Japan's natural disasters are crazy common, like did some old Japanese emperor piss on the tridon he found bc he thought it would've been funny or something?- and Aguaman snaps at Marvel about why he never says shit about for example Zeus bc he probably deserves most shit-talking from a human. Marvel wheeze laughs like, "Dude, he's sponsoring me. The one time I talked shit about him, I had to sacrifice a chicken and two goats for him to give me my powers back. Do you know how expensive those get?"
So anyway, Superman would've gotten salty that he got mind controlled by a space catapillar during that time because Marvel couldn't keep his opinions to himself.
Superman being good for goodness sake made me realise I am loved for love sake and that’s okay. There is not more to this.
You see, what I like to believe is that it's because of very bad psychological care when he was a kid. It's completely a fanon believe of mine and has absolutely no claim in canon, lmao
But anyway
I've heard from someone (so i can be completely wrong on this lmao) say that until the 70's or 80's it was widely believed that children just "bounced back" from traumatic events after which it was actually believed that traumatic events can actually effect a child for the rest of their lives.
So now the child psychology began yeeey! But oh no, because it's a brand new idea, they thought the exact opposite of what will help the kid with trauma should be used to help them deal with a traumatic event, not yeeey.
So what they would do is take a traumatized child and force them to say in as much detail as they can what happened to them over and over and over again.
You can see where this is going :)
So since Bruce is supposed to be nearing 50 and at this point the timeline seems about right. He would be put into therapy with the newest way to help kids :D making him relive his parent death constantly over and over again.
Making him spiral with all the ways he could've done something to stop it, ect. ect.
So basically, I like the idea of the uno reverse of "this man needs therapy" that instead he got therapy and it was so bad it turned him furry
Anyway, that can explain why he would constantly retraumatize himself. Because that's what he was taught in therapy. To just relive that moment until it got better to live with the memory, the problem being: it never got better for him.
I just realized Batman would not be able to escape silent hill
Okay so silent hill one scenario he could since that’s wandering in by chance
But silent hill 2? Where it’s a manifestation of your traumas and inner demons? And you have to accept them and let it go to escape from silent hill?
Bruce has canonically retraumatized himself multiple times rather than get over the death of his parents. He intentionally relives the trauma of his parents death rather than potentially losing his edge as Batman
He is not coming to terms with diddly, and if he did and managed to escape silent hill he’d immediately retraumatize himself for the lord knows how many times it’s already been time
Scenario, where Billy is working at the Whiz station and during a Halloween party he was forced encouraged to wear a kids sized Captain Marvel costume and had his hair done to be slicked back too for the full look.
Naturally, he was not happy about it at all so when they had a group photo of everyone in costumes you just have this grumpiest kid at the front dressed as the happiest man alive so people start to also refer to him as Grumpy Marvel instead of Whiz Kid and the popularity of the photo just spirals out of control.
Billy is anything but happy about it, and he genuinely almost lost his shit when someone in the League mentioned the photo.
Im interested about "A Rare Quirk" and Batdad senses xD
OK, so "A Rare Quirk" is from my previous fandom. I'm going to be straight here. It's My Hero Academia. It is, unfortunately, an izuku x reader (both adults at this point). The quirk (superpower ability) is a type of teleportation. Considering the manga is ending soon, if I'll want to ever publish it, I'll definitely have to rewrite some of it at this point. The plot is Izuku accidently doxes himself and has to hide elsewhere until the heat is down. Anyway, guess who's the neighbour? Yeah.
Batdad Senses is simpler. So there was or still is a post about how nobody knows Cap's identity, but Batman still treats him more like a kid subconsciously, and everyone notices apart from Cap and maybe Bruce until someone points it out to the Bat and he has a true moment of fear and confusion. I was planning to have this slowly escalated more and more until another thing from another post happens where Batman straight up slaps a glass of whine out of Cap's hand and it's akward for everyone involved or witnessing. I would not know how to end it so that as much as it would be more continuous, it would still be written in more one-shot style when it comes to the chapters themselves
one of those fics where Black Adam finds out billy is a child and forcefully adopts him but instead of being opposed to the idea he visibly relaxes and hands him a 200,000 word hand written copy of his fake alien backstory complete with diagrams and 7 fake languages
RULES: make a new post with the names of all the files in your WIP folder, regardless of how non-descriptive or ridiculous. let people send you an ask with the title that most intrigues them, and then post a little snippet or tell them something about it! then tag as many people as you have WIPs. Tagged by: @kenandeliza
I know damn well it was targeted because we often joke about my WIPs. Most of them are (shocker) Billy fics apart from a few that I guess I will also have to post about technically I don't have a WIPs folder but a folder named "ff" and then another folders that divide by fandom :P so imma just post the WIPs
5 ways in which Billy passed as an adult + 1 which made everyone actually question his age [crack]
A'ight bet - Billy decides to Become Bruce's full time problem [multichapter so no shocker it's a WIP, it is available to be read on Ao3]
BatDad Senses [crack]
crackfic - but it's batman
He's not squinting [crack]
The Kid's Dad [crack]
Huh, there seems to be a pattern
Not Billy Wips that are all from another series and medium all together (in case you'll immediately work out what fandom this is let me just let you know that I do not identify with the toxic side of the fandom, I literally just like the damn book):
A Rare Quirk [romcom??]
Priorities [romcom??]
Warm Jacket [not crack but funny with a bit of angst]
Not tagging anyone because I don't have more friends on this website and I'm not gonna bother strangers :P
melancholy - a small Captain Marvel comic
i was practicing inking, it was pain, this took 3 weeks to finish
Mary’s hair is my favorite to ink
Originally, this was supposed to be a crack comic bu then while i’m drawing this, the tone changed. So i cut off the rest of the other 7 pages that was supposed to accompany this last page. (Another reason why freddy isn’t in here despite most of the time, i’d include him in all of my bad comics)
If you’re still curious what the crack comic was originally supposed to be: he was supposed to be the reason why captain marvel got into counseling with black canary, it's because of a misunderstanding.
Junior opened up of having lost his family to the sea, this lead black canary to be more cautious about marvel taking ocean missions and her sudden offer to counsel him. At the end of this current comic, she was supposed to think that marvel was talking about his late family
But i scrap that because i feel like it doesn’t fit in right, and i’m afraid the joke might not land :p
Ps: i love drawing billy in a onesie tiger, maybe one day i should make a comic about that too heh xD
A video from Fawcett goes viral, where an anvil falls on Captain Marvel. The anvil stops at Captain's head with a loud anvil sound and then cracks all the way up from the point of contact and splits in two, both halves then fall on the ground. Marvel seemed unaware of the anvil until the very end when the split anvil hit the ground.
Captain then proceeds to look around, pick the anvil halves and put them together before putting it to the side of the sidewalk
Or alternatively
He looks around and picks the building up before using his foot to brush the anvil halves under it before casually putting the building back down and acting (and failing) like nothing happened
Fawcett Toon Headcanon
1.Billy grew up with silly cartoons (he usually sneaks into a movie theater to see the cartoons or watch them in diner tvs ), slapstick comics that he'd found in the trashcans or the small comic strips that would often accompany the newspaper he sells.
By the time Billy Became Captain Marvel, Magic became more common in fawcett city, but Billy's childhood influenced the type of magic and creatures that enters into fawcett city
like more incidence of slapstick humors and talking animals, certain cats being immune to anvils being dropped on their head. Random falling objects like potted plants wrere common that Fawcett tried to ban leaving anything on windowsills. Sadly, it only cause other things to fall off like safes and pianos, so they had to rewrite that ban
2.In comparison, Black Adam grew up with egyptian mythology and folktales, the moment he became Black Adam, khandaq began to have its own share of magical creatures, for better or for worse
3.Another reason why some heroes dont like getting near fawcett city, the irl toon logic is jarring to watch.
On TV: *piano falls on Tom*
Captain Marvel: "Oh yeah, I remember watching that happen to a cat once. They sang Mozard for a week."
Everyone non-fawcett: "wtf"

Thanks for potato mutual for suggesting some of the ideas :D!
Two people officially asked so here's answer
Bumblebees are observed to pollinate a bit away from their beenests so as not to inform the predators where it is but also not so far as to risk getting lost/ not being able to come back to the nest in case of danger
Police departments study those patterns to catch serial killers. The idea is that serial killers will pick their victims far away enough from their house to not be recognised by the people they live near but not too far away for their long disappearances to be noticed too.
Batman would use those patterns to overlay them with random lightnings in Fawcett to hopefully work out what area Marvel might be at. He most likely would realise that there is quite a big connection with lightning and Marvel showing up and disapearing, and despite magic being more than unpredictable in his eyes, he hoped it would show something like a pettern anyways
Would it work? Maybe. I like to think that Billy, unfortunately, isn't smarter than bees but does live a life that just makes him end up in most random places around fawcett, so Batman just ends up sounding very... sleepdeprived to others.
Batman using bee patterns to work out where Captain Marvel lives

Marvel's looks
So you know how it is at least an older canon established that Billy as Marvel looks like his dad or at least what he remembers his dad to look like? I personally lean into a second option of how he remembers his dad because it makes it more interesting plus it helps with the whole awkwardness of him looking like a semi-random or completely random (depends what canon you're going for) dead dude.
So here's the differences I see Billy as Captain having compared to his dad or things that come from his dad's little quirks!
Height: Billy remembers his dad as being massive because he himself was a tiny baby boy. So yeah. Marvel isn't a walking 6'4" feet tall dude because that's his "peak" or whatever but that's how tall comparatively Billy's dad looked like to him at when he was like 4 vs 8 years old.
Build: CC was the strongest man Billy has ever known. He could lift all of them: his mom, his sister and him; proudly proclaiming he is holding his entire universe in his arms. So naturally he was super strong which called for super muscles! So that's why Marvel is build like a tank while CC most likely had a healthy amount muscles from excavating and such but nowhere as much as Marvel and unlike Marvel would've also had a solid amount of extra squish too (we stand dad bods, lmao).
Cleanliness: You know how a decent amount of people have Marvel have a neat self-cleaning option that just comes with the magic form? I personally like the perpetually perfect hairstyle from one of the fanfics I read that joked about it. Even if this might not be something I'll always use to it's maximum extend. Either way. I like to think that the cleanliness of Captain Marvel comes from the fact that CC liked to be overall clean and put together when seeing people or generally outside around the public and generally portray himself as professional: as in wearing full business in casual business because he likes the feeling wearing a suit gives him (Yeah, I see CC to be a weirdo actually enjoying suits and his wife finds it to be an extremely adorable quirk she loves because they both get to be the dressed to the nines couple!)
Face: OK so this one is going to have a bit of sub bits here because I gave CC glasses. I know when he is shown he usually doesn't have them but I have a reason for it and I'll get to it:
4.1. Nose: The shape is different from CC's simply because glasses hide a decent portion of the nose bridge depending on what sort of glasses you get. But generally the bridge would be a bit larger for Marvel.
4.2. Eyes: So you know how in older depictions of Marvel he always squints? You know when people also squint? When they're trying to see better! So yeah for me Marvel has a perpetual squint because he doesn't wear glasses unlike his dad. Who, whenever he took them off, also squinted to see (sometimes exaggerating it to make his kids laugh). So Marvel's form subconsciously squints since there's no glasses on his nose. lol.
4.3. Also eyes: Additionally since CC wears glasses and squints when he takes them off, his vision has to be decently bad. You know what happens when you wear strong glasses? They warp your face. So additionally Marvel has smaller eyes then CC would've had. :P
So yeah that's all I have for now but might edit it if I ever come up with more things like that. If you like the concept feel free to either use it or add to it. This is all a complete fanon. It's for complete funnsies. But I would still like to hear what you think about it!
For real, I thought Jekyl and Hyde was this massive fucking book but no, its actually like 12 or so chapter story.
Back when it was written, it was a short story where each chapter was put into weekly paper. Literally, one evening, read if you're a fast enough reader.
reading and watching “classic” books and films is such an interesting experience because, before you get into them, when you only know them by name and maybe the vaguest plot outline, they’re intimidating and stuffy and up on a pedestal, but then you finally take the leap and check them out and realize that almost every story that’s achieved such a legendary level of popularity did so because something in its emotional core reached out and grabbed a lot of people by the throat and you are NOT immune.
Maybe someone you follow was reblogging it?
Kinda funny because I had this manga about half dragon girl constantly on my page, too, and unless I got the wrong person, I think it was actually you that was reblogging it all the time for a while 😂
What did I reblog that's getting me recommended nothing but sonic the hedgehog blogs
Nah, for real, I liked like two memes about stardew Valley and was flooded with it for a week, and I had to put it as a post I'm not interested in
What did I reblog that's getting me recommended nothing but sonic the hedgehog blogs
This is the funniest fucking cut to exist.
Freddy knew this was a possibility, but I don't really think he thought it would happen 😂😂
The Power of Shazam! #7 (1995) by Jerry Ordway & Peter Krause
DC should make a horror game where you're a criminal in Gotham trying to hide away from bats, and the tutorial is you as a kid stealing the wheels off of the Batmobile
Do you think there's a person in Gotham who was rescued by Batman as a kid, and them years later, when they're adults, they got rescued by him again but because they're an adult they got the really gravely voice and overall adult treatment and throughout they were like "but I was your buddy/honey 🥺🥺" because Batman of course is much more gentle with kids then adults.
Do you think Batman ever encountered a situation like this? How did it make him feel? Old? Since so much time has passed. Content? Happy? Fulfilled? Because he gets to see the fruits of all his effort. An adult who does their best to live a life despite whatever he had to save them from.
