Especially when you know that Alastor was one of the greatest aurors and Evan was just a young wizard with no assistance.

Thought of this one thing, which I plan to incorporate in one of my fics-:

Evan is actually a former student of Durmstrang and he transferred to Hogwarts around the third or fourth year. I say so because, he had excellently fought against Alastor Moody, he used Darks Arts instead of Defence against the Dark Arts in a way that was actually classic.

I think, though he came to Hogwarts, he continued to possess interest in Dark Arts which actually kind of made him a quick-prodigy in it.

What do you think?

imagine my ears perking up in interest because this is such a great idea. it’s another reason for evan to stand out and have others think of him as weird and strange for it, and as for it playing into canon, him having a tendency towards dark magic and how he uses is to fight against moody, i like that.
