Hetalia Capitals:

Ok I have this idea about if the world capitals were personified. Hear me out:

A capital can only be brought into this world once a government is made meaning that they weren’t exactly related to the country whatsoever. Hilariously, most didn’t (most likely couldn’t) go participate in said government since majority of capitals are female. So, they’d have arranged marriages, spies, snoop around, or do basically anything to figure out what’s happening. Most of them didn’t really meet their respective countries for officially until the 1900s or whenever they were allowed to fully participate in the government.

Another thing about the capitals:

When they were allowed to participate in their government, they usually were helping with domestic issues, like poverty and sexism. They do also help with some foreign issues, but it’s usually just about trade and humanitarian rights. While they do work with their country, it’s mostly just them splitting the work so it’s somewhat faster.

Update on my capitalia idea:

Instead of being the near same age as the country, their ages are closer to adolescence and late teens (15-19ish) since they age a lot slower than the average country. Also, they usually handle being spies and getting private information on dangers that could hurt the country. However only certain government officials know of that and they each have one to make sure the respective capital is safe. The countries (both 1p and 2p) do not know of them because of how obscure they make themselves, however they have interacted with them unknowingly.
