I hc that whenever Yuki is super focused on designing or putting something together he makes a lil face. Like, he'd have a needle in one hand, fabric in the other, and just this tense little pout untill he finishes the length of that seam. Kazunari has probably noticed it but never mentioned it, but if TENMA ever sees it he's never gonna let it go lol, that's some eternal blackmail for him.

annotation hc (summer troupe part1)

here’s the beginning of the summer troupe’s annotation hcs!! these are so fun to write, so i’ll probably send out misu and kazu’s later today!

Tenma: just in case, spoilers for this one!! Since he used to get major stage fright, I think he would probably wear out his script pretty fast. He would always be clutching onto it once roles are assigned. He probably memorizes his lines fast but he’d be too nervous to not have his script on him, even after everyone else is off book. There are the most markings around any long passages and entrances since he’s fine once he gets going

Yuki: cute stickers on the cover!! Uses cute stationary materials throughout the script, but that doesn’t mean he’s all willy nilly about it!! Yuki is vv careful about where he uses his stickers and markers. He probably color codes lines too! Once they get to blocking scenes (figuring out where you will stand and move while acting), he will take extensive notes in an extra notepad for costumes. For example, if there seems to be a lot of movement in the scene he will make sure that the costumes used there will allow for free movement

Muku: muku seems to be the type that writes their reaction to the script on the page. For example, if a character has a cool monologue or a smooth line he would probably write ‘soo cool!!’ in the margins, or something to that effect! Will also write a lot of notes for himself on delivery, eg: ‘tenma said to deliver this line more confidently’ or ‘director says this one should be louder!’ or ‘***practice this monologue later***’

Summer troupe rob a bank-

this was a fun one!!!

Tenma: tenten offered to just pay for the troupe's budget, but noooo?? Robbing a bank is fuunnn?? He'd have to go with misumi to make sure any triangles don't throw him off. 

Muku: the lookout! Muku is a nervous, but speedy boi, so if he sees anyone coming he'd be able to run over to the rest of the troupe and get them outta there!!

Yuki: he suggested it!! Poor boy needs money to finance his fabric and accessories for costumes. Sakyo will be vv confused when they suddenly have their over-budget costumes paid for

Misumi: u already know how good misu is at hopping around walls and evading capture. He's the one sneaking in! Unfortunately, he would be easily distracted if any of the décor in the bank is shaped vaguely triangular

Kazunari: kazu is the one who learned the hours of the bank and the security guards. Also got into the security system! He wanted to play "heist music" too but tenten vetoed that idea :')

annotation hcs (autumn pt 1 )

here’s the autumn lads! be warned, there are spoilers here!! fun fact: i usually cannot spell autumn correctly :)

Banri: taking notes??? Who’s she? Bringing your script to practice?? I don't know her?? To be honest, his script was barren and abandoned a lot in the beginning, like people would find it just lying around and go ‘banri? Don't you need this?’ and he honestly didn’t mind all that much. Later on! He actually gets more invested and starts making little annotations. He probably isn’t very used to annotating text so he would kinda just circle and fold the corners of pages that he needs to remember/deliver well. Later later on he does get better at taking notes tho!! Still minimal, but at least they exist and he knows where his script is

Juza: ok, when he first gets his script I feel like he was probably a little lost. He really didn’t know where to start so it would kinda just lie on his desk, blank. (don’t tell banri but juza was a little intimidated when he got the script and couldn’t bring himself to mark it up for a while) he eventually built up the courage to ask izumi how he should make notes and he’s pretty much stuck to that since! Most of his notes are on delivery, and what emotions should come through in certain words. Probably notes on pacing lines and how to deliver them more naturally too!

Sakyo: spoilers here! Since he’s another one who’s been involved in theatre since he was little, he can read through a script and just go, ‘ah yea, i got it’. Looking at the script it looks almost formal? Like, it almost looks like he used a ruler for underlining and the annotating looks like notes you could use in a textbook. If izumi ever forgets her script (which has happened at leaaaast once i promise u), he will let her use his, albeit with grumbling and lecturing <3 its ok sakyo, we know you love her

Taichi: Oh boyy, that poor script is gonna be destroyed.,,., im sorry, but our lil sk8er boi is just gonna be bringing that script with him eeveerryyywwheeereeee. He takes a buncha notes, but they are absolutely illegible and incomprehensible to anyone that isn't taichi nanao. Lots of scribbles and underlining and just a tooon of writing on almost all of the pages. Practically held together by binder clips by the end of the run of the play. Like, just imagine in the common room...

Y: it looks like it’s been through a warzone??

How about Izumi forgetting things because our girl is trying to manage 20 men and side jobs in other theaters? For example, she is coming down from her room to lounge to drink a water but when she enters in, she just forgets what she was going to do and everyone asks “Director, why are you just standing there lol” and she starts to question herself in a comedic sense lolol

Sajnknfdakjsnfs ok this is actually hilarious!!!

-Izumi literally does so much work, and yet she seems to keep up a very chipper and fun attitude. Like?? How does she do it???? 

-(Being in the vicinity of curry probably just gives her a boost of energy)

-I feel like Izumi would be the type to keep working until her brain cannot process words anymore, so she's in the kitchen holding what she thinks is a napkin to wipe off the counter. (She's actually holding some of Yuki’s fabric that he just finished pinning together.)

-Yuki’s dramatic gasp of horror was enough to snap Izumi out of it and immediately start apologizing to him. He then ordered her to go to take a nap, and strangely enough, Izumi didn’t even question it.

-Tsumugi has bumped into her in the garden. She was just,,,.standing there,.,.mayhaps she was photosynthesizing? Is the director a flower now? He was so tempted to take his watering can and sprinkle a little bit on her head, but he kinda just, gently tapped on her shoulder until she floated back to earth. Apparently she was going out for groceries and her brain just shut down the second she stepped outside.

-After a couple of these incidents, Sakyo has Sakoda bring him a copy of Izumi’s schedule every week and he’ll go through the list, looking for things to take off her plate so she can get enough rest in. he’ll also ask Winter troupe to look after her a bit because he trusts them to be gentle with it.

-Izumi has found herself getting invited to tea by Homare every Wednesday, and Guy, Azuma, and Tsumugi meditate and burn incense with her on occasion. 

-Hisoka and Misumi were enlisted to watch to make sure she doesn’t space out anywhere dangerous, and to make sure to drag her to take naps when necessary. 

hc: muku will sometimes text in freeform poetry 

Muku:

I think cooked fruit is disgusting, in nearly all forms.

but if you like cooked fruit,

i will give all of mine to you

and you will give me the crust off of your pie to nibble on

and that is because we love each other :)))))))

Whenever tenma gets super stressed or upset about something he really needs to do something with his hands. He had a bad habit of pulling on seams and loose threads from his costumes so Yuki went looking for something to get his hands off his clothes and landed on woven lanyards! Yuki only taught him the 90 degree box stitch and Tenma ended up going online to learn a ton of other patterns too! So, pretty much every time they have shows coming up or Ten-ten has filming to do he ends up making fistfulls of lanyards and other little handicrafts! Yes, he made friendship bracelets for the entire summer troupe. Yes, he was very, very proud of how nicely they came out. Yes they made it into an entire ceremony when Kumon joined, and yes, Tenma officially dubbed him, ‘part of the squad’. He kept them in a shoebox in his room until he somehow filled it up. Lanyards were kinda ending up all over the floor and Yuki was filling up the natsugumi Swear Jar real quick from stepping on hard plastic so Tenma ceremoniously took his box into the common room, lined everyone up, and distributed lanyards to the entire company. 

So that's why Tetsuro has a baby pink lanyard for his house keys.
