If you're conscious enough, he'll gently walk you to your bed, or carry you there if you've already fallen asleep.

He won't take any excuses from you, he'll even lay ontop of you to prevent you from leaving <3

It's been a long day, and you still have so much to do. You procrastinated on a lot of work, always thinking you had tomorrow- now look where that got you. As you typed and typed and typed, you glanced over to the list of assignments left to do, and tears filled your eyes. You quickly wiped them away, thinking to yourself, 'No. I have to finish working. I can't put this away any more than I already have'. You were so exhausted, poor you, you couldn't keep your eyes open for longer than 2 seconds. As your eyes nearly shut once again, you heard footsteps and your room door opening.

That meant that your boyfriend, Akito, was finally home. You wanted to greet him, but you didn't have the strength to move. The last thing you heard was "Hey Y/N, I'm back." before you fell asleep. Akito walked over to your desk, bending over a little to read what was on your laptop. He sighs as he slowly rubs your head, going ahead and saving the project, then shutting down the device. Draping your arms around his neck, he carries you like a sack of potatoes over to your bed. While he's gently laying you down, you open your eyes and stare at him. You didn't realize you weren't at your desk til your head hit the pillow, and you quickly got back up. Before you could fully get up, Akito lightly grabs your shoulders, "Y/N, you aren't going back to that desk. Look at you, you've overdone it again. Please just lay back down, you can finish it tomorrow". Although you tried to protest once again, Akito quickly shushed you and lightly pushed you back. The feeling of the soft pillows quickly made sure you couldn't resist, and you finally caved.

The night ended with you in a deep sleep, with your loving boyfriend hugging you from behind, giving you light little kisses on your forehead, cheeks, and nose. Whenever you overwork yourself again, he'll be here to assure you get the rest you deserve <3.

at first , he stares at you with widened eyes , slighty on edge when he sees you in your distressed mood .

then , whispering an " i hope this is okay . " he quietly sits down next to you , and gently pushes your head into his chest , resting his head on yours .

as he rubs your back up and down , he awkwardly mutters " you can tell me about your day later . for now , just - . . stay here with me . "

depending on if you're crying or not , akito will rock you back and forth , scared of hurting you any more .

soon after , he will make you something small , like a sandwich , and a glass of orange juice to atleast put something in your belly .

he shrugs it off with a smile when you thank him , telling you how its the bare minimum .

Akito was a total ass. Not in the pervy way like other boys your age, but he was just so damn stubborn and hotheaded, refusing to listen to anyone ever.

Sometimes, he blew up at you when he needed someone to blame, which often had you crying to An or Mizuki after school. It was a mystery to them; why did you stay with him when he always broke your heart like that?

What they didn't see was how sweet he could be to you.

The way his hands trembled so subtly as he wiped away your running eyeliner, a muscle ticking in his jaw with guilt. He tried to reassure you the best he could without his pride getting in the way, but he stumbled and stuttered, trying to tame his words.

For the week following his mistake, he came to your house every morning just to redraw the eye makeup he ruined that day. As if walking you to school every day wasn't enough.

On his way home, he always brought you to the cafés that Ena always bugged him to visit, using the money he'd put aside from his part-time job to buy you whatever you wanted. You always insisted on bringing home some cheesecake for her, much to his dismay.

He never tried to charm you like he would to strangers or acquaintances; he could barely speak straight because he liked you so much.

On the contrary, he spoke in snarky comments or shy, grumbled compliments.

"You're so irresponsible," he would tease you, lowering to one knee to tie your laces or fix your leg warmers.

"What are you, five?" He snickered, leaning forward to wipe the crumbs from your lips.

"Yeah, I said you're cute. Don't pretend you don't know!" His face was priceless.

And God, was his sister annoying about you. Always with the nagging and scolding when he did something wrong. He dresses wrong for a date? She's on his ass about it.

But he was still thankful, in a way. The way your eyes lit up at a gift that she had suggested, or when you got all excited after he dressed up to match you on a date... it was thanks to her, though he hated to admit it.

You were definitely a handful to balance, from his job to his passion, but he wouldn't give you up. He tried once but couldn't bear it. His music didn't sound right, he couldn't sleep, and if people thought he was crabby before? It had nothing on him like that.

Before he knew it, you'd become something central in his life. Something he depended on. And even if he couldn't say it, he really did cherish you.

And you cherished him all the same.

bonus rambling that is not proofreadddd and texts when they come over unannounced at an absurd ass time. ummm not gonna lie this is really rushed and ooc but i wanted to post something .. i'll be back eventually buuuuut take this for now ehehe sorry. i have so many drafts but to me they look really mediocre.

rui kamishiro this freak shows up unannounced most of the time to ask you to try shit out for him. of course he won't force you to because he prioritizes your comfortability, but he will attempt to pursued you and bring up the idea several times until you get the hint. also he's def always hearing about drama from his friends (like mizuki) and omg hes soooo fucking annoying telling you about it but he forwards everything to you!!! just keeps you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

i think rui would fuck around with nicknames rather than pet names, but he'd call you honey pretty frequently. avid user of whatever nickname seems to fluster you the most too.

akito shinonome this guy thinks he owns the fucking place. he'll warn you that he's coming over like 2 minutes before arriving. he's so hopelessly in love with you that when he thinks of you he just needs to see you. he prob gets more snappy if he hasn't seen you in awhile. he's like a battery waiting to be recharged lmaoooo dry texter most of the time btw. ew

nicknames wise for akito i think he'd go for more simple stuff; but he'd mainly call you babe or just by your name, since he's not huge on petnames. though if you're lucky you'll get called honey or baby.

toya aoyagi def not the type to show up at your house unannounced for something unimportant btw. he's sooo polite and sweet, so he'll usually ask first because he doesn't want to risk interrupting something you're doing, even if you're just napping. sometimes he'll drop small gifts off by your door like snacks that you enjoy or just trinkets he found and text you that he left it there because he doesn't want to bother you.

i think he'd call you sweet and simple yet loving nicknames, stuff such as my love, princess or baby.

tsukasa tenma he's really loud. he constantly gushes about you and when he talks too much he goes, "oh hey! i miss y/n!" and then suddenly he's at your house rambling about his day and how he got to this situation. omg also he's always typing in capitals like 90% of the time this guy is adding emojis to his texts to brighten them up or yelling in capitals because he thinks they make him stand out more.

tsukasa likes to call you bold and fun nicknames, always changing things up! though, he does say you two are "stars" together a lot, so sometimes he calls you his star, and that one seems to be his favorite.

# rui kamishiro

being an outcast when he was younger, rui had never gotten the opportunity to experience romance — it was something he naturally casted aside. it wasn't necessarily something he hated, but rather the idea of it wasn't something he thought would be possible for him. until he met you, that was.

rui is obviously, completely fucking whipped for you. asking you out was a huge step for him. sure, it wasn't like he was completely scared of rejection, but rather the thought of losing your friendship due to his selfish feelings. or maybe the lingering thought that a post-outcast such as himself would never truly deserve the dedication of another person.

that aside, you'll constantly find his eyes lingering on you. rui is totally addicted to just looking at you. he loves the way your eyes light up when you're excited, or how your eyebrows furrow in a silly yet cute way when you're frustrated. anything you do, he loves to admire it.

constantly encouraging you. he will always sit down and try to figure out your problems with you, or simply just listen to you. no matter what decisions you make, he's there to cheer you on. he's a total motivator, the way he smiles at you and tells you to just "do what makes you happy" is enough to make you take on whatever issue you're dealing with head on!

he loves you soooo much :(

was not interested in romance at all 'till he met you. my god he thinks you're perfect, even if he would never admit it. it's obvious to tell regardless. he's constantly bringing you up in conversations where you aren't even relevant, or just rambling on about you unintentionally. an teases him and claims he's "gushing about his crush" — which he scowls at. but yea, he is!

this boy does noooot let you pay for anything. very fond of spoiling you with whenever he can. acts all annoyed but once he sees how interested you are in whatever you're eyeing, he folds. completely ignores you if you try to take your card out and pay first. "akito, let me pay for this." and you won't even get a response, he'll just look at the cashier 'n go "yeah ignore them." while handing over his card.

insists that he isn't clingy but holy shit this guy is always finding excuses to make skin contact. always wanting to hold you and kiss you, but def doesn't want to swallow his pride and ask so he makes up excuses 'n never lets go of you when he succeeds.

# toya aoyagi

constantly wins you plushies at the arcade. you have a massive pile on your bed from him accidentally winning little games. in exchange, you find little gifts you can give him in return! he treasures everything you gift him with all his heart.

toya is awfully dense. awful at making the first move or understanding how you feel, but he truly tries his best. therefore, arguments with him typically just end with him feeling bad within seconds and he'll give in. he cannot argue for shit, immediately resorts to taking the blame.

adding to that though, he's soooo soooo understanding and sweet. such a gentlemen, he would do anything for you if asked. he apologizes immediately if he feels he did something wrong or if you look upset, holds open doors for you and always reaches for your hand. type of guy to walk on the side of the road sidewalk for you yk.

# tsukasa tenma

really fucking dramatic about everything you do. simply going outside without any effort in your appearance? constant compliments. succeeding to do something no matter how minimum? constantly brings it up and praises you. he approves of everything you do he's your number one fan!

similar to akito — tsukasa is constantly gushing about you, whether its toward his sister or wondashow in general, he constantly finds a way to bring you up. if you're together with friends, he always tries to make you look cool in front of them or put all the attention on you. (which, admittedly, can get overwhelming at times. but he means no harm.)

constantly calling you silly nicknames he's made up in his head. his personal favorite is 'my star' for obvious reasons.

Sometimes you wonder if your boyfriend enjoys watching you suffer, and it may sound weird to say it out loud, but you’re truly starting to believe he’s a sadist! What other explanation could there be for something this cruel?! It’s been about half an hour since you’ve given up, but you can’t stop thinking about it.

“Babe,” he chuckles, relishing in your frustrated expression. “Quit pouting, you’re being quiet.”

“‘M not pouting,” You defend. Spoiler alert, you WERE pouting, but you can’t help it! You’ve tried to go in for a kiss three times already, and he’s ‘coincidentally’ not noticed. He has to notice! There’s no way he’s hasn’t!

“Sure…” He laughs again, and that royally pissed you off. Just that boyish grin was enough to make you faint for a million years! How dare he do this to you?! You let out a noise of annoyance.

“I’m gonna get you, even if it kills me!” You let go of his hand, deciding to stuff yours in your - well technically his, since you’re wearing his jacket- pockets. This makes his eye twitch.

“What are you even talking about?” He snatches your hand back out of your pocket, and you can’t help but laugh - despite the frustration. He obviously can’t stomach the taste of his own medicine, so you pull your hand away again - much to his displeasure. “Quit doin’ that!” He stops walking, deciding to grab both of your hands.

“Doing what??” You play dumb, mocking his original cockiness as you pull your hands away.

“Doing that! Hold my han-“ He stops, realizing what’s happening, “you’re petty. You’re REALLY petty. I did that like 30 minutes ago!”

“If you let me kiss you I’ll hold your hand again.” You offer, shrugging with fake indifference. He sighs, he feels like a dog begging for a bone. He shouldn’t have teased you…

“You make me act like a total chump, I don’t like it.” He grumbles, leaning down slightly to give you better access, you intertwine your hands. HA! You won.

You close the gap, feeling his lips against yours. They’re slightly chapped, tasting of a fruit you can’t quite put your finger on. Your heart immediately settled, enjoying the warm feeling of your boyfriend. It feels like you’re mad for eachother, the shape of his lips molding into yours perfectly. The two of you stayed there for a while, before you realized a full out makeout session in public isn’t the best look for either of you. But as you tried to pull away, you found a stumbling Akito following the kiss, almost falling on top of you. His eyes shoot open once he realized what he just did

“I-“ His face is red when he looks away, you snicker. “I didn’t mean to do that!”

“You love me!~” You say in a sing-song tone, teasing him.

“I-“ He sighs, sounding defeated. “I do!…”

He was spacey for the rest of your walk home, staring down at the pavement. All he could think of is how weak he is to you.

It was a breezy yet peaceful night. Perhaps, The night sky was like a gorgeous painting—stars scattered everywhere yet it was just a piece to the beauty.

And there he was, laying besides you on the grass. Looking so carefree, as if there's nothing bothered him— as if you're causing his problems to go away in seconds.

“Hey, Look at that one!” Akito's eyes immediately lit up, sitting from his position and pointing up the sky, at a certain star. Due to that, it caught your attention. So, searching for the star he was pointing at was quite difficult at first, but after awhile—you found it. “It looked like a scorpion, don't you agree? Hm? ” His smile was enough to warm up your soul, better, he was like a heater besides you.

Well, it does look like a scorpion. As he lays back once again, admiring the stars— when you were just admiring him instead. There was nothing happening much, it was silence, but in a good way. Besides, it was stargazing afterall. Nothing more than that,right?

So, you just looked back at the sky,not really thinking of anything expect the one laying besides you,Akito Shinonome. “the moon looked ethereal too.” He added, with a genuine smile before diverting his gaze towards you.

“Mhm,” Agreeing to his statement, staring at the moon, itself. Whoa, it does looked..ethereal I suppose. Not more than you, though.

As the time passes by, the time felt short, yet you knew hours has wasted with this stargazing stuff with him. But it was worth it for all you care.

...

“I love you.” Oopsies, slipped out from mouth! What were you thinking,huh? Such words to say a close friend that is an obvious confession. Speak without thinking.

You immediately try to correct yourself and apologizing before looking away in such embarrassement. (Keyword :- try.) Knees on your cheeks, hiding your flushed face on your own words you blurted out earlier.

...it was silence. He stayed silent and stared at you, before chuckling softly. “You do?” Akito muttered, with a quiet voice yet teasing. Oh, the more embarrassement crept inside you.

“I guess, I love you too.” the words were enough to make you feel relieved, yet heart thumping, it was a way you couldn't describe. Being inlove with someone is a risk, isn't it?

It was a serene night, you wouldn't forget. A hole in your heart,that was filled by those words.
