on an unrelated note:

i have a Project Sekai AU

the title isn't really official but it's along the lines of:

Shrouded Dreams x Backstage

it consists of

• Tsukasa Tenma

• Saki Tenma

• To(u)ya Aoyagi

• Shizuku Hinomori

• Mizuki Akiyama

and the main loids are miku, kaito, and the kagemine twins

the main premises (and reason why the name is what it is) is that the group was founded after all their dreams and hard work shattered and/or they gave up on them

it started with Saki, but Tsukasa was the catalyst (i promise they don't end up in a fight it's much different)

idk if anyone will find this or even read this but it's here ig

i'll put down more later

note: i wrote this on january 2023 and i dont remember anything so it probably sucks

shizuku was completely exhausted, to say the least.

she couldn’t bear the feeling of losing you and having to start over every time. having to turn the both of you into strangers again. her loving you with all her heart, and you not even knowing who she is.

even shiho, who’s not the closest to her sister, notices her sudden mood drop, yet, uncertain of what could be troubling her, she decides not to ask.

whenever shizuku sees you for the ‘first time’ again, she wishes she could tell you what to do to avoid your death, but she couldn’t — that would only make things worse, and she’s very well aware of that.

as much as it pains her, she can only do small things to try to change the future, for now.

“I promise you, one day, it’ll be over. And when that day comes, I can finally spend my so-desired time with you.”

what was honami doing wrong?

she did everything, everything, to avoid that terrible fate. but it couldn’t be helped — it would still happen, no matter how much she tried.

she gave her all, she devoted herself to saving you. she was trying her best, her all, to keep you safe and alive. apparently, it wasn’t good enough. it was never good enough. every time, you’d end up dying in her arms. over and over.

whenever she sees you for the ‘first time’, she feels her heart ache. knowing that she’ll have to go through everything again and again, only for a false image of hope that maybe, maybe she could save you.

she never had the chance to tell you the words she was dying to say. even in your last moments, she couldn’t bring herself to say it. ever since the first tragedy, you’ve never heard the words ‘I love you’ from her ever again.

“Once I can finally let my guard down, then I’ll allow myself to soften at your touch. I love you. Even if I’m not ready to say it, I hope you know that.”

as much as he wanted to, rui couldn’t give up. not yet. not until he saved you.

why him? why you? why you both had to be disturbed in such a manner?

in the beginning, he thought himself to be really lucky, to have the opportunity of being with you one more time. but as more time passed, he started to believe this was not a blessing — but instead a curse.

waking up, knowing that he’d try his all to save you but being aware that it all would go to waste, was extremely exhausting.

whenever he saw you for the ‘first time’, he could feel himself relaxing at the thought of being together with you again. having your hands run through his hair, having you laugh at his cringey pick-up lines... he yearned for that, even if he knew he couldn’t have it, at least not at that time.

he watched you die over and over. eventually, death was not a new concept to him. but every time, even knowing it wasn’t the first time and it wouldn’t be the last, watching your lifeless body always gave him a feeling of despair.

you always called him a genius, then, why? why couldn’t he come up with a brilliant plan, as you’d say, to save you? why couldn’t he save the one person who stood by him at all times?

“I want to be with you so bad, but still, I’m not able to keep you here long enough. What am I doing wrong, my love?”

this wasn’t fair. this wasn’t fair at all. why did they have to take you — ena’s favorite person?

she’d give 110% of her to keep you, even knowing that she couldn’t be with you, knowing that you’d die again, she still chased after your life as if it’d be the last thing she’ll ever do.

sometimes, she couldn’t help but being irritated. if only she didn’t love you, this wouldn’t be happening to her. she was very well-aware that this was one selfish thought, but she thought about it every now and then. despite being mad, she could never say that she regretted loving you.

whenever she saw you for the ‘first time’, she knew it was important to keep her distance, for your safety. despite that, she glanced at you quite often, fighting the urge to go after you.

having to be emotionally distant from you frustrated her. she watched you talk to a lot of people throughout the day, knowing that she wouldn’t be one of them. after all, you were still her significant other, even if you didn’t know it.

“Why won’t you simply stay?! Damn it... I want you to be safe, be alive, be mine! And I’ll make sure it happens, even if it takes a hundred... no, a thousand times.”

the only thing toya wished for was for it to be over.

it was extremely tiring. he’d never do something that pains him, but he couldn’t give up on you just yet. even if he has to go through the same feeling of emptiness every time, he’s willing to do it, if it means saving you.

not only that, but even his bandmates notice his sudden lack of motivation. every time, akito confronted him about that, but he never answered. he couldn’t tell him the truth, he’d never believe it. it was awful to avoid his best friend, but he couldn’t help it, rescuing you was his top priority.

whenever he saw you for the ‘first time’, you merely looking at him already made his heart flutter, as if it were before the tragedy. he loved to see you so... lively. yet, he knew he shouldn’t let his guard down, as he was already aware of what would happen.

he tried his best to keep you away from danger, directly or indirectly, but none of his actions seemed to help. in the end, he always held your lifeless body, never having the chance to confess his undying love for you once more.

“I’ll do everything for things to go back as they used to be. Even if it takes thousands of times, I won’t give up, not until I make sure you’re safe.”

# rui kamishiro

being an outcast when he was younger, rui had never gotten the opportunity to experience romance — it was something he naturally casted aside. it wasn't necessarily something he hated, but rather the idea of it wasn't something he thought would be possible for him. until he met you, that was.

rui is obviously, completely fucking whipped for you. asking you out was a huge step for him. sure, it wasn't like he was completely scared of rejection, but rather the thought of losing your friendship due to his selfish feelings. or maybe the lingering thought that a post-outcast such as himself would never truly deserve the dedication of another person.

that aside, you'll constantly find his eyes lingering on you. rui is totally addicted to just looking at you. he loves the way your eyes light up when you're excited, or how your eyebrows furrow in a silly yet cute way when you're frustrated. anything you do, he loves to admire it.

constantly encouraging you. he will always sit down and try to figure out your problems with you, or simply just listen to you. no matter what decisions you make, he's there to cheer you on. he's a total motivator, the way he smiles at you and tells you to just "do what makes you happy" is enough to make you take on whatever issue you're dealing with head on!

he loves you soooo much :(

# akito shinonome

was not interested in romance at all 'till he met you. my god he thinks you're perfect, even if he would never admit it. it's obvious to tell regardless. he's constantly bringing you up in conversations where you aren't even relevant, or just rambling on about you unintentionally. an teases him and claims he's "gushing about his crush" — which he scowls at. but yea, he is!

this boy does noooot let you pay for anything. very fond of spoiling you with whenever he can. acts all annoyed but once he sees how interested you are in whatever you're eyeing, he folds. completely ignores you if you try to take your card out and pay first. "akito, let me pay for this." and you won't even get a response, he'll just look at the cashier 'n go "yeah ignore them." while handing over his card.

insists that he isn't clingy but holy shit this guy is always finding excuses to make skin contact. always wanting to hold you and kiss you, but def doesn't want to swallow his pride and ask so he makes up excuses 'n never lets go of you when he succeeds.

# toya aoyagi

constantly wins you plushies at the arcade. you have a massive pile on your bed from him accidentally winning little games. in exchange, you find little gifts you can give him in return! he treasures everything you gift him with all his heart.

toya is awfully dense. awful at making the first move or understanding how you feel, but he truly tries his best. therefore, arguments with him typically just end with him feeling bad within seconds and he'll give in. he cannot argue for shit, immediately resorts to taking the blame.

adding to that though, he's soooo soooo understanding and sweet. such a gentlemen, he would do anything for you if asked. he apologizes immediately if he feels he did something wrong or if you look upset, holds open doors for you and always reaches for your hand. type of guy to walk on the side of the road sidewalk for you yk.

# tsukasa tenma

really fucking dramatic about everything you do. simply going outside without any effort in your appearance? constant compliments. succeeding to do something no matter how minimum? constantly brings it up and praises you. he approves of everything you do he's your number one fan!

similar to akito — tsukasa is constantly gushing about you, whether its toward his sister or wondashow in general, he constantly finds a way to bring you up. if you're together with friends, he always tries to make you look cool in front of them or put all the attention on you. (which, admittedly, can get overwhelming at times. but he means no harm.)

constantly calling you silly nicknames he's made up in his head. his personal favorite is 'my star' for obvious reasons.

Chapter 7 of Sour Droplets!

[Chapter 7 - Uniting Consequences]

An waved bye to Kanade who was standing by the door of her house. The birds continued to chirp over head, flying under the clouds that dotted the sky as the sun shined down on An. It was a beautiful day despite it being August 28, marking her official fourth, and last day away from home.

Kanade and An exchanged phone numbers, a testimony to the bond they had made over the meager three days they had. Instead of giving Kanade An’s original phone number, she gave her her dad’s, since her phone was broken and she also needed a way to get ahold of her father to tell her she was ok.

So after An was done listing off the numbers of her dads phone number, Kanade sent him a message to which he instantly responded, glad that he knew where An was. They explained everything that happened (except the emotional parts) and An’s dad offered to come get her, but after An tried to stand and found that she could, she knew she wanted to make the journey home herself.

So after she headed into the kitchen and refused Kanade’s offer for breakfast, they said their goodbyes and An headed out the door. However Kanade still waved goodbye with her trademark gentle smile on her face, making An’s heart swell with warmth. They both had connected on a deeper level despite the awkward way they had met, and An knew that Kanade now held a spot close to her heart. 

So as An walked home, she wondered how she could show her appreciation to her new friend. Should she buy her a gift? No… Kanade likely wouldn’t accept it, and feel bad that An spent money on her. Should she pick some flowers for her? No.. it didn’t seem like Kanade would have time to take care of them. 

And so An’s back and forth in her brain continued, her feet taking her home as her brain continued to debate on ideas. Before she knew it though, she was in front of her dads cafe, and pushing the door open. The bell attached to the door rang as she stepped into the air conditioned atmosphere of the building. The place was empty except for the four people at the counter and of course, her dad, behind the counter.

However it was easy to tell who everyone was at that counter. For the girl near the door had a shade of sandy blonde hair that An had practically memorized, and it was easy to tell who the other were from their short orange hair and the split light and dark blue hair. Kohane, Akito, and Toya were all here, waiting for her.

Despite how worried they all must be, An couldn’t help but smile, their concern touching her heart. She couldn’t even begin to imagine how her disappearance had impacted all of them, especially since she had stayed out of touch with them for four days. Yet they still came to her dads cafe and waited for her return, clearly anxious in the silence that echoed around the room. 

An felt like she had to apologize, but before the word could come out of her mouth Kohane was the first to turn her head, her light brown eyes looking at An wide with concern.

“An-Chan!” She yelled, causing everyone else to look her way.

Akito’s face clearly possessed several wrinkles that had imprinted on his skin from all the worrying he had done, but Toya just smiled gently, his gray eyes shining under the fluorescent lights.

“Welcome back Shirashi.” He greeted, his sharp eyes conveying a sense of warmth.

“Oi oi Shirashi where were you? You made us worry.” Akito said, his tsundere demeanor showing through. Though An had to hold in a laugh when she saw Toya elbow him, causing Akito’s face to melt into a smile. “-Urk! But we’re glad you’re here An.”

An’s lips turned upwards into a grin. Just as quickly as the silence had settled, her partners had broke it, which was quite characteristic for them. They never were ones to be quiet, but the relief on their faces said enough for them.

“An…! I’m so glad you’re safe.” Looking upwards, An could see her dad frozen in place and staring at her while he held a glass and cloth in hand.

Instantly a smile of relief and despair broke out across An’s face. She may not have Nagi anymore, but she had her dad. And god had she missed him.

Instantly An put one foot in front of the other, rushing forward. One of the things she loved about her dad was the warmth he provided, the bond they shared. And she had certainly missed that.

But as she ran behind the counter and wrapped her arms around him I’m a tight hug, she let out a contented sigh. As her dad wrapped her arms around she let herself smile, the corners of her lips curling upwards as she let herself be embraced by that familiar warmth again. For now she was home, in the place closest to her heart.

This is the scene where he’s singing in the last chapter, and I tried to dim the background characters so you can tell that he’s the one to focus on, along with me putting him in the front. Last Project Sekai Card for my Event!

I was a bit hesitant to give Kohane another four star card because she just had a focus event in the English version of Project Sekai, but in the end she ended up becoming a four star card which I titled “A friends relief!” It’s a card that makes Toya look taller than An and Akito, but that’s just because of Gacha Life 2s layering system based on their scale and position. I really want them to fix it soon, especially since this is an issue in their other apps too. However let’s get back on track and reveal her skill for this event card, which is:

Recover 450 life; 90% score boost for 5 seconds.
