On top of that, the reason SAMG will be no longer animating Miraculous episodes also has to due with being underfunded. SAMG is known in the fandom for animated some of the best episodes in terms of animation like Crocoduel and Strike Back. Mind you, if they can afford to make The Awakening Movie with a budget over 100 million dollars, then they can afford to give their employees a fair pay. The would thing about Andre don’t wanted to take responsibility from Chloe, and letting her alone with Audrey and adopting Zoe and just taking care of her AND only her and no his biological daughter
To me is like a kid with a toy who gets bored about it and don’t know what to do with it, and then he got a new one and throw the other like trash
That’s how the would situation looks like to me, Chloe is just threw away from her own father like she was nothing for him and is replaced to the other girl who is supposed to be “better” than her
It’s just so disgusting and cruel, that’s the worst thing you can do to someone, specially a child

No child, don’t matter they behavior, deserve something that horrible and cruel like that
And I don’t trying to say Chloe did nothing wrong, because she did, but just remember that one of the reasons she act the way she acts is because her father didn’t teach her values and the only he did was spoiled her
And instead of taking responsibility and try to be better for both Chloe and Zoe like a normal father would do, he just let her go with her abusive mother
Chloe is young and still have a would life to live, she deserves something better than this, at least some therapy it would be good

Maybe you’ve already gone over this, and I just missed it, but how, exactly is Tom a villain? Obviously his plan to violently stop whoever killed his wife and is targeting his daughter is, legally speaking, not great, but I don’t think he’s done anything other than put butterflies all over Paris and he’s not planning to do anything but stop Sabine’s killer.
Compared to Hawkmoth, its much more tame, but relentlessly blackmailing the most famous fuckwads in Paris so he can get information ( and collect enough money for him and Marinette to live like kings whenever she decides she wants to stop baking) isn't exactly a super upstanding thing to do. Not to mention you can possess people using an Akuma, so there's high risks for those who's refuse his "deals."
