I just finished “I Was Screaming Your Name Through The Radio.” By Electricsplatter
I think I saved every line they said to each other, I loved it so much. The miscommunication was so frustrating but also worth it in the end.
(did a cute book over for it, art by seisyun bot on twitter!)

Notes of the day:
Finally getting back to my previous reading flow, I have collected a rather ambitious number of books that I must read before my trip to London. Most of them are related to exile, language and how one carries one’s own culture through writing.
I have just been told that I will have to do two 8 hour shifts next week as a student ambassador and I am trying not to lose my mind with the amount of pain killers I’ll have to consume to keep my sanity in check.
Next week is the last week of my internship, which means more time to study for my language exam. It is getting sunnier which means I’ll have to procure something outside of my fully black wardrobe and start finding coffee shops to study.

in which, the first day weather permits the wearing of a cardigan, i find myself obligated to indulge in a reread of the secret history.

People: get stuck on The Picture of Dorian Gray chapter 11 because it's too slow-paced/too much theory/too much description/too hard to read/not really interesting to them
Me: gets stuck on The Picture of Dorian Gray chapter 11 because I gotta look up every word I don't understand which subsequently leads to a further research as the word brings me to one curious topic after another and/or the thoughts in the text send me rolling ass over teakettle into a myriad of connections that open into enlightenments and realisations which I gotta contemplate and write down and process, and the chapter is full of those, and so I read a half a paragraph and for the next hour+ go down the rabbit hole, you see my problem

I have officially passed my third semester of med school (yaaay) and now have almost two weeks of well-deserved break. I have to finally finish Young and Beautiful because I haven’t touched it since Christmas. Anyway, here’s a quote that made me laugh.
