You ever be reading fics on AO3 and go to give kudos to the story but then it says you have already but you don’t remember ever reading this story before?
Let this be a reminder to never question weather or not you should comment on someones fic.
Yes it might be rrally old and yes we might suck at responding, but never question how those small words WILL make an authors whole day

Once or twice a day, I check my stories (bad habit, I know, I know) to see if any ticker has gone up. I've gotta admit, any time a new kudo comes in, it brightens my day..!
I really should stop watching it, though. Very easy way to depress yourself...

Why I like Comments&Kudos
I write fanfic for the same reason I bake cookies. I want to make them happy! I only bake the kind of cookies that I myself would eat half of if left unattended. When I bake, I want to share that feeling with people. The warm pools of chocolate chips! The tang of lemon in a shortbread! The moistness of a peanut butter cookie with the little crosshatch on top!
I really like rereading my stories. I am very easily entertained and rereading my favorite lines cracks me up every time.
I like comments and kudos (and bookmarks!) because it means that I got to share that with other people! The romantic bits, the funny bits, the angst. This idea in my head made me feel happy or hopeful or silly and out there somewhere, someone else got that feeling too. Or they got different feelings that made them happy to read.
Kudos are awesome because they’re a way to say “I liked it!” even when I don’t have the mental/emotional energy to write a review.
If they didn’t like my cookies, that’s okay too. Maybe they’re a cake person? Maybe they’re avoiding sugar (which my cookies and fics are full of) or it wasn’t their flavor. It’s all good!

the reason why I sometimes choose to be a guest cause after some time, I can go back a leave even more kudos cause they deserve it
the :) AO3 gives you after telling you you’ve already left kudos on a particular fic is my archenemy because what do you mean :) ? what do you mean I’ve already left kudos here? have you read my favorite author’s work? look me in the eyes and tell me one kudos is enough. I’d give them a thousand kudos and my kidney plus my firstborn. what do you mean I can only give them one kudos??????
