Autumn is coming!
Pine cones in various stages of development.
I love a dramatic grey sky! Combined with a gusty wind it's my favourite weather. Anticipation hangs in the air, like a storm could break at any minute. Like the season of autumn, hanging on the edge of winter, in a single moment. Like a squabble between gods that could break into violent squall at the drop of a hat. Like dawn at dusk all together.
Where is he taking us?
Into the wild.
Mornings are getting dark in the North

Sure fire signs that Autumn is coming!
All the red, orange and yellow hue of Autumn leaves are not the colours of death. Yes, the tree will soon shed them, but those shades were always there. The tree has simply stopped making chlorophyll, whose strong green pigment has overwhelmed the other shades all year. In a way, the trees are just showing their true colours before going to sleep.
The path less travelled
The sun was setting and the forest became orange. This picture doesn't do it justice.
Where two rivers join
I wrote a poem. I don't write poetry so it isn't good. It's about the Autumn Equinox.
