Title: Out of... A non-traditional media artistic piece. Materials include melted crayon, thread spools, a shadow box and plexiglass. A very fun piece to make! When melting crayons, you are never really sure how its going to turn out, but thats all part of the process! I put the oven at 250 and melted the crayons for 10 to 15 minutes. Darker colors melt faster than lighter ones- something I did not realize before starting this project. XD Definitely try it at home! Just make sure you stay safe haha.

It’s a Deenosaur!

Currently still a work in progress, but I really like how it’s looking so far. In a few weeks, we’ll get to see how it looks when it’s fully colored! That’s pretty exciting.

The final look at my “Deenosaur” project! Essentially, he’s Barney’s arch-nemesis... I had a lot of fun with this, and I worked really hard on it, haha. But the harder you work on something, the more it means to you. Enjoy!

Mixing and matching different styles. Every page might end up looking different, haha. 

PunkBots

Playing around with character design and color swatches. Said swatches come from a book called “Color Inspirations” by Darius A Monsef, and each color set has a name. The one for PunkBoy is called “Good Boys” and the one for PunkGirl is “Gaelic Swans”. I had fun putting the design together, and I’m interested in seeing what ideas others have about the possibly personalities or stories for these characters. So have at it. I’d love to see what people come up with, so please be sure to tag me!

HEY! No sure my last post actually worked, so I decided to make a new, better one haha. I have officially opened up shop on REDbubble! I have several original works and lots of fanart! It’s cool, because it allows artwork to be printed on shirts or pillows or mugs... or just printed out as pictures! I drew my avatar from one of my favorite sites, Aywas. It’s got a lot of animals and a lot of opportunities to create new ones and such... I’m pretty happy with how this turned out. Appropriate for these snowy days.
