[00:21] the air is cold as you sprint clumsily through wolvendom forest, each shadows make you tense. you frantically glance around you.

this is bad! so so bad!

‘crap!’ you thought to yourself as you stumble over a rock that ends making you roll down a hill; the harsh wood and stones creating cuts on you. the thick branches hitting your body aggressively, it felt like your bones were breaking.

“ack!” you coughed out, slowly regaining consciousness, the nipping air reminding you where you are.

there’s a crack…heavy breathing- run!

in a clumsily manner you manage to get on your feet before running to the direction you were going in previously.

“come back hereeee,” the cheerful voice sends shivers down your spine. you had a head start how did this happen? he- no, they…oh no.

within a blink of an eye you were tackled to the floor, the pain from before biting you back. you whimper softly, blinking slight tears away.

“you okay?” the familiar voice of razor had you looking up. “the fall was really painful, I kinda hurt myself.”

“crap!” you hear bennett as he pulls razor off you, he pulls up your shirt to see big bruise forming where your ribs are. “that’s so bad! oh I’m so sorry if only I had spooked you and, if I hadn’t of-“

you groan and flop your body onto bennett’s, grabbing razor to be on the other side of you.

“bennett it’s fine hunny, it was a training accident but right now just cuddle me for a minute.” you lean up to kiss his cheek before doing the same to razor. “it’s the exact same to you razor.”

after that you three laid there in peace, the heat off each other’s body warming. it was home.

[23:21] it’s a cold day in mondstadt as snow starts to pile indicating the season change. how wonderful, well with how cute bennett looks in his warm orange scarf; his eyes full of joy and nose pink.

both of you were currently heading to meet razor as he was always curious, of the markets around mondstadt, especially during the winter season. you look at the bundled up bennett beside you; you had to make him wear a coat and gloves at least! it was freezing!

wait…freezing!?! your heart sank quickly as you thought of razor. yes he might of gotten used to the temperatures but yet, it doesn’t matter. “bennett, hunny?”

“yeah?” he responded as he looked around in awe even if he’s seen mondstadt like this many times. “it’s currently low temperatures especially for mondstadt and, razor is out there with no protection…”

that makes him falter as he turns to you in horror; you had to get razor to stay with one of yous tonight since it was rumoured to be colder later on. first, you had to get razor something warm and so, with haste both of you managed to get; a light purple scarf and a nice warm coat that wasn’t stuffy as razor would be uncomfortable.

both of you waste no time hurrying to razor who was waiting outside of wolvendome; he was shaking slightly.

“RAZOR!” you called out catching his attention before you and bennett tackled him, wasting no time to get him into the warm garments. he blinked and tilted his head cutely, as he looks at his coat and scarf.

“for…me?” his voice is confused and hesitant, both yours and bennett’s heart breaks.

“razor, darling of course it’s for you,” you start softly bringing him into your embrace tearing up.

“yeah, moon it’s for you,” bennett spoke as he joined the embrace; he had called razor a moon because of how beautiful he looked, in the moons light. razor loved that named ever since.

“razor, we love you and care for you and you’re allowed to receive things…besides it’s cold and we don’t you to get cold, as well as stand outside in it with no protection.” you start slowly, caressing his cheek before laying a kiss on his forehead as bennett leaves a kiss on his shoulder.

“oh okay…i care for you too,” razor said as his chest burst into swirls of warmth. a giggle and smile escapes all of you before you’re grabbing on to one hand of their hands.

“come darlings, let’s go,” you smile as you pull them towards the village, in return your hands are squeezed by both of the boys.

“yes! oh razor just wait until…” you softly smile as bennett tells razor about everything there.

now, this was home and the feeling of being loved; just you and the boys.

Also, sorry in advance, but I'm not gonna write for Mika. I don't know ANYTHING about him, and I don't feel like reading up on him just to make a small headcanon about him

The Men of Genshin (individually) hear you scream in horror. When they run into the room, assuming you're in trouble, they see you huddled in a corner while shakily pointing at the other side of the room...

"THERE'S A SPIDER! KILL IT! KILL IT!"

With no other choice but to confront your source of terror, they...

You might think that Kaeya was at least a little bit afraid of bugs like everyone else, but he's the Calvary Captain... He's had to camp out in the wilderness and deal with all sorts of critters. He's worried about bigger things than a tiny bug.

He walks up to where the spider is and bravely steps on it. He looks back at you with a teasing smile, trying to contain his laughter.

"Do you feel better now?" He asks you as you cross your arms in mock frustration.

"It was a really scary spider..."

Kaeya walks over to the corner you hid in and pats your head.

"I'm sure it was."

𝘿𝙞𝙡𝙪𝙘

Diluc was really busy with his work when he heard your scream. He didn't even bother letting one of his maids check on you because he was already sprinting to check on you. When he found you on the floor, pointing to the spider, he calmed down and tensed up at the same time. For one, he was relieved to see that you weren't in any actual danger... But he was also not prepared to kill a spider.

Despite his body's response, he pushed forward and stepped on the spider. He immediately went to your side to comfort you.

"Are you alright? You probably gave everyone in the mansion a fright." (Yes, he was the one in fright, but he's not gonna admit that).

You smiled, giving his shoulder a squeeze. It was as if you were comforting him.

"Thanks for checking on me."

"Of course." He gave a small smile back, and you both went back to your work.

𝘝𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘪

Venti is either completely sober or absolutely drunk. THERE'S NO IN BETWEEN! So let's imagine two different scenarios...

Completely sober Venti will come to your rescue by getting a small piece of paper and a cup. He'd trap the spider in the cup and move the spider outside. Once he comes back inside, he'll squat down in front of you and bat his eyes at you teasingly. You'd pat his head and give him a grateful smile.

"Thanks for rescuing me..." He'd smile back and give you a cheeky smile of his own.

"I'll always come to your rescue!" He'd bat his eyes and look back at you with a finger on his chin.

"... But it'll cost you a smooch!"

But when you're dealing with an almost blackout drunk Venti... He's not rescuing anyone.

In fact, he's hiding behind you, pushing you to kill the spider.

"KILL IT WITH FIRE! IT'S GONNA EAT ME!" He's screaming his head off. You'll get so tired of it, you'll, somehow, temporarily get over your fears and kill the spider yourself. You look back at Venti as he's experiencing a full on meltdown, and you try to comfort him as best as you can.

"... Why did you kill that spider!? We could've kept it and named it Barbatos Jr.! Whyyyy!!!"

At this point, you were done with his behavior and decided to just let him be.

𝘼𝙡𝙗𝙚𝙙𝙤

He's on the case! He gently picks up the spider and cups it in his hands. He's not even afraid to touch the spider. He walks back in the room and nods in your direction.

"The spider will not be a problem anymore. I've let it free outside." He tries his best to give you a small smile to comfort you. Before you can get another word in, though, he's already headed back to his lab and he just... continues to work...

Before you lose all hope of hearing another word of comfort from him, he reappears in the room's doorway. He crouches in front of you and puts his hand on your head. He's not sure what else to do, but it seems to make you feel better, so he just stays like that for a bit.

"Please, do try to not scream next time. I thought you were hurt."

"I can't promise anything."

𝙍𝙖𝙯𝙤𝙧

He also believes in not hurting the spider, so he tries his best to get rid of the spider for you. He doesn't really understand why you're scared of it, but he doesn't have time to question it. If you're scared, he has to do something about it!

When he manages to get rid of it, he immediately comforts you.

"Are you okay? Did spider do something that scare you?" You shake your head in shame, which ends up making Razor confused. But he's learned not to question things like this, at least, not in the moment. He'll ask about it later.

For now, he'll give you a tight hug and hope that he can comfort you with his actions instead of his words.

Normally, Bennett doesn't have luck killing spiders for you, but he tries his best. If he does manage to kill it, you are forever in his debt.

You only do this because he just spent the last ten minutes attempting to kill the spider, and you feared for your life while he was doing so. He turns to see your head peeping into the doorway with the bedroom door slightly closed. Were you trying to lock him in the room if he failed?!?

"Sorry I took so long, but I got the spider!" His smile drops slightly as he sees you slowly backing away into the hallway.

"You... You can come back in the room..." You come back into the room and give him a grateful hug, trying your best not to laugh at the pout on his face.

"Thank you for using a bit of your luck to kill the spider..." The smile he once had reappears on his face, and he hugs you back.

"I wish it was luck. I'd say it was more determination than that-"

"Just take the compliment!"

So, I wanted to request Bennett headcannons/reaction to an s/o that doesn't mind his bad luck and in fact wants to join his adventure team, because I love him so much and it hurts me to see him so sad in his hangout because of his bad luck TT 💕

We all know he sees it as unlikely, something you should reconsider

"I will only bring you bad luck" would be his reasoning for refusing

Oh he oh so desperately wants to go on countless adventures with you

But he's convinced you would end up disappointed or even worse, hurt

Everyone you ask he would bring himself down, telling you that you shouldn't want that

God, this boy just doesn't see how fun and lovely he is to be around

But you're persistent, and he's a softie

That leads to him giving in, because by refusing all the time he would also make you sad or disappointed

So he figured that after an adventure you would see how it works with him and stop asking

Wrong

"Wow, that was close!" You exclaim after you and Bennett take down the last ruin guard around. "Normally I don't see more than 2 of those together."

You wipe some sweat from your forehead and turn to Bennett, smiling at him. But he, on the other hand, seems kind of nervous and deflated. How unusual, considering normally he smiles a lot and is very enthusiastic.

"Well, yeah, that's what you get when you go on adventures with me." His voice is obviously laced with some sadness, but he covers it by chuckling softly afterwards. "You probably won't want to come again, it's nothing but bad luck." He smiles sadly, obviously trying to not to show that he's actually upset because of it.

But instead of agreeing, as he expected, you shake your head and walk up to him. You throw an arm around his shoulder and pull him into a crushing hug. With a big smile on your face you huff slightly.

"Hmm that's strange.. I was thinking the exact opposite. I mean, I really enjoyed going on an adventure with you and I would love to go on more!!"

The disbelief and happiness on his face afterwards make it all worth it.

The next few times he takes you on an adventure he's still nervous, but not as much as before

But when he realizes you really enjoy it he relaxes and enjoys it just as much

The day you tell him you want to join his adventure team he looks shocked but even more enthusiastic

After asking if you're sure, and you saying yes, he laughs

bennett may seem oblivious and too pure for this world, but there's more than meets the eye

he has his own struggles when it comes to self worth

he has gotten used to it but still doesn't see himself as much

convinced he's not a person people want to be around and that he's just bad luck and nothing else

he will always its fine but even still it hurts, he feels bad regularly

but after getting an s/o, someone whom he loves and makes him feel like he's loved equally, that has gotten better

he feels more worthy after you came waltzing into his life, like he's loved and has worth

but due to his experience he will be able to spot your own struggles way easier

I personally think he's not one to tackle the problem by mentioning it and sitting you down to talk about it

I feel like his approach would include a lot of praise, physical affection and just making you feel things he knows he needed during his low points

until one day he decides you need to hear it straight up

It's one of those days again, where every little action takes up way too much energy and all you want to do is lay in bed and sleep. These days have been happening more often now and you know that your mental health has been declining, but what can you do really? Asking for help is scary and hard and admitting how you're feeling is the exact same. Besides, the thought of being a bother to Bennett is very much present.

The boy in question has noticed the way you've been acting and the way you look when you think he won't notice, and it scares him. He's all too familiar with it all and wished it upon nobody. At first he tried to help by being a support. He complimented you a lot and showed you his love in more small ways than he did before. But he knows it didn't work the way he wanted, so he decided it's time to talk.

Right now the two of you are sitting in a field, taking a small break from the adventure you two are on. He notices the way you're sitting all hunched with a lost and tired look on your face. It feels like the right time to talk.

"y/n?" He starts off calmly and softly, not wanting to create a hostile or scary at the get go. If he wants to get something out of you he shouldn't rush or make you feel like he's judging or attacking you. But when you look at him and hum in response he knows its okay to continue.

"I- uh- I've noticed something lately, and it's been bothering me for a while now. Maybe you can help me out?" You don't respond but your face does take on a worried look and you turn towards him a bit more. Your body says that you're here for him and open for a talk but your face shows exhaustion and numbness behind the worry. "So, it's actually about you. Now, don't worry!! You haven't done anything wrong. It's just that I can see you've been feeling bad and I want you to know that you can always come to me. I care about you and want to help."

Maybe it's the words he said, maybe it's the genuine and loving way he looks at you or maybe it's just all of it together but your eyes well up and your bottom lip begins to tremble. And he listens as you tell him, being patient and encouraging as it takes a bit. He takes it all in and supports and consoles you in the ways he knows you're comfortable with.

You wouldn't think it possible but the way he looks at you holds more pride and love than he's ever shown before. "Thank you for being open and trusting me with this..." and he proceeds to tell you what he feels for you. How happy and loved you make him feel and that he loves you even more than that. That you're the best thing that has ever happened to him and you're the most beautiful person he's ever seen.

Afterwards the two of you will be holding each other, still sitting down in the grass. A comfortable and loving silence takes over you two as you both take in the words that have been spoken. And you both decide then and there that you will try harder to communicate such things. Things will still be hard from then on, and obviously things won't be solved just like that. But he'll be able to support you better like this and be there for you through it all. And you slowly are able to get rid of feeling like a nuisance and see your self-worth.

Bennet and Razor paced the school halls waiting for the break to end. The green-eyed boy told his long-haired friend stories he had heard from his "fathers". Razor walked beside him, nodding silently to show that he was listening.

Everything was fine until they had to go down the stairs. This is where Bennett's unprecedented bad luck manifests itself.

The fair-haired boy suddenly stepped on the untied shoelace and leaned forward, not even having time to grab on onto something. Bennett was mentally prepared to fall, but the only thing he felt was not pain but a hand wrapped around his waist.

"Everything's okay?" he heard a smooth voice behind him. He did not have time to turn around when the gray-haired student approached him, grabbing his arm.

"Is Bennett ok?" asked Razor with concern in his voice.

"Huh? Oh y-yeah, I'm fine!" he replied and straightened as he realized that the mysterious person was still holding him to keep him from falling off the stairs. When he turned around, he saw a h/c-haired student with e/c eyes, holding a briefcase in one hand. "They grabbed me with one hand ?!"

"If everything is okay then I'll go. Be careful." they said and left.

Bennett stood there for a moment, stunned.

"Something is wrong?" the red-eyed boy asked looking at his friend.

"Razor, do you know who it was?! It was Y/N! The Y/N!"

". . . Razor don't get it." student said confused.

"They are the secretary of 'Celestia'!" he said excitedly. "I can't believe I was so lucky to talk to them."

"But you didn't even say anything-"

"And they helped me too! Can you believe that, Razor?" Bennett continued, ignoring his friend's words. The long-haired boy only sighed and listened to the words of the excited green-eyed unlucky student.

"Aw man! All seats are taken." the fair-haired boy said. "Not that I wasn't expecting it haha" he laughed awkwardly.

There was a lunch break. Bennett and Razor were standing in the middle of the food cafeteria and wanted to sit down at the table. Unfortunately, they were all occupied. It happened to them quite often, but Bennett always hoped that someday they would find some not taken seats so that they could eat in peace. They were about to head towards the exit to look for a place to eat their lunches when they heard someone calling them.

"Oh, Bennett and Razor. Here, take a seat. A group of students just left." it was none other than Y/N.

The two walked towards them and sat down at the table.

"Thank you." said the first long-haired student. Looking at the face his friend was making, he knew he wouldn't do it first. There were sparkles in his green eyes.

"No problem. I had to sit down somewhere anyway." the h/c-haired responded calmly.

"Y-You know our names?" Bennett said quietly.

"Yes, is there anything weird about that?" they asked surprised.

"Well, you're a second-grader, aren't you? And you are in 'Celestia'!" Bennett started. "A-And you are so cool and all. And we are just normal first-graders."

At the compliment, the student looked away trying to act cool and somehow hide their blush.

'I-I can't take it. He's too cute-'

The rest of the lunch break, Bennett talked about how amazing Y/N is and how much he admires them. If you asked them, it was very difficult for student to prevent the heat from spreading over their cheeks.

Usually, the fair-haired first grader didn't care so much about his bad luck. After all, he had Razor, Fischl and many other people with him.

But today it was really bad.

Both of his closest friends were unable to attend school for some private reason. He spent most of his time alone because other students were afraid to approach him because of bad luck. Although it happened sometimes, it was today that the green-eyed felt this loneliness more.

Although he was aware of the influence of bad luck on his life, he most often pushed these emotions aside, trying to think optimistically. Bennett really was doing his best.

But today . . . he was just tired.

"Bennett, can you take it to school council room?" asked him his math teacher during one of the lessons.

"Yes of course." he replied without his usual enthusiasm.

The fair-haired student took a pile of papers from the teacher and walked towards the mentioned room.

On the way, he began to feel unpleasant thoughts that, due to his misfortune, his current friends would also leave him. 'Just like they did. . . ' he thought. He really didn't want to be alone, but he was afraid that someday they might get hurt.

The thought was too much . . . overwhelming for him.

The green-eyed boy did not notice that a familiar person had just come out from around the corner, who also did not notice that someone was walking straight towards them. Unfortunately, this resulted in an unpleasant collision that caused both of them to fall. The papers Bennett was holding scattered all over the floor.

'It couldn't get any worse . . . '

"Bennett, are you okay?" asked the h/c-haired older student, who turned out to be the person he ran into.

'It could get worse . . .'

"I'm s-sorry . . . " his breath hitched a little. 'No, stop. I can't cry right now-'

"Huh? It's ok. I should be watching where I'm going-" they stopped when they heard quiet snifle.

Although they could not see the boy's eyes through the hair that covered them, single tears ran down his cheeks, stopping on his chin and dripping on the ground. Y/N didn't really know what to say or do. They were not the best at comforting others and were afraid to say anything that would make the situation worse.

In the head of the green-eyed student though, there was a lot of thoughts and scenarios about what will happen next. Will they just leave without saying a word? Maybe they'll start laughing at him? 'Why I started crying now?!'

However, nothing he thought about happened.

He felt a hand on the back of his head that gently pushed him forward until he was leaning against the shoulder of the e/c-eyed student.

"It's all right. Let it out." they whispered.

For the next few minutes they sat there, the only sound being Bennett's soft sob. They didn't ask for anything, just sat in one place, running a hand through the boy's fair hair. They didn't need to ask.

After Bennet calmed down a little, Y/N spoke up.

". . . Sorry, I'm not good with words."

"I-It's okay . . . Thank you." he said, stepping back a little without being brave enough to meet their eyes.

Then he suddenly remembered that both of them were still on the ground and that there were scattered documents next to them.

"Ah, sorry! I was supposed to take it to-" he began panicked.

"Don't worry, I know. Let's just pick them up and take them to class." the older student interrupted him with small reassuring smile.

In response, the boy nodded and, after wiping his still wet cheeks, began to help collect the pages.

After a short time they reached the room. In the center was a round table with eight chairs. There were many cupboards along the walls. There was also a small kitchenette with a fridge and coffee machine.

"You can leave them on the table." said the h/c-haired student as they put down their papers. "Do you want tea?" they asked.

"What? I guess I have to go back to class because the teacher-" he began to say. He didn't want to cause Y/N any more problems.

"Oh, don't worry. I'll tell him later that I needed your help, so you didn't go back to class." they said winking. "Besides, I have some free time now. And no, you aren't bothering me." they added turning on the electric kettle.

Bennett paused.

'Do I really deserve such amazing senpai? . . .' he thought smiling a little.

TEYVAT ACADEMY - amazing senpai pt.2

"Oh, it's Senpai!!!" the cheerful voice of an unlucky student resounded in the hallway when he noticed three familiar figures.

He walked over to them quickly, waving his hand for them to notice him. The blonde-haired woman turned her head towards the younger student.

"Bennett, good morning. Do you need anything?" she asked with a gentle smile.

The man with the eyepach next to her gave a short laugh.

"Jean, I'm sure he's just glad to see his amazing senpai's. Right Benne-" Kaeya said, but he stopped when the boy walked past him as if he hadn't noticed him.

"Y/N-senpai! I wanted to thank you for yesterday! I didn't think it would rain so hard that it would destroy my umbrella! Luckily, the one you gave me is fine!" he said towards the e/c-eyed student, handing them their umbrella.

"No problem." they replied with a small smile taking the umbrella from Bennett.

"Huh?" the blue-haired man stood motionless, not knowing how to react. It was probably the first time he had been so ignored.

Jean (the Acting Grand Master from Mondstadt) chuckled quietly.

"Are you okay, Kaeya?" she asked.

". . . No-"

The meeting at 'Celestia' has just ended and everyone is getting ready to leave. Y/N was in a rush to leave the room as soon as possible. A certain green-eyed student was waiting outside the door, whom they promised to eat lunch together.

"Oh?~ I can see someone is in a hurry~ I wonder why?" Venti sang. His mouth twitched into a playful smirk.

The e/c-eyed student did not do anything about it, being used to the dark-haired boy's behavior.

"Leave them alone, Barbatos. I don't think their plans have anything to do with your." Zhongli said irritably.

"You're not fun, Morax." he pouted.

The woman with long purple hair, who stood behind them, just rolled her eyes.

The two arguing 'Archons' didn't even notice when the younger student left the room. They only realized it when they heard the cheerful voice of a fair-haired boy.

"Y/N-senpai! I was waiting for you. Maybe we can eat on the rooftop? Oh and Razor and Fischl will be there too- If you don't mind of course!" he said excited.

They only replied with a smile and a quiet 'I don't mind it'.

Zhongli and Venti fell silent and watched the two of them with gentle smiles.

"They are finally making some friends, huh Morax?"

"On this one I have to agree with you."

"Oh no . . ."

"What's wrong, Bennett?" his red-eyed friend asked.

"Y/N-senpai helped me do my math homework yesterday and I think I left it at their dorm." he replied heartbroken. "And we're already in class and the lesson has begun-"

He stopped when, after knocking, a familiar figure entered the door.

"Excuse me, didn't somebody from here lose the math homework? I found the papers in the corridor outside the classroom." Y/N announced.

In this moment, they looked significantly at the green-eyed first-grader. It took him a moment to figure out what they meant.

He got up quickly from his seat and walked briskly towards them.

"Yes! Em- I mean, yes, those must be mine." Bennett said nervously taking his homework from their hands. "Thank you very much!"

The fair-haired boy returned to his seat. The teacher looked at them suspiciously, but said nothing.

"Excuse me for interrupting. Goodbye." and after that h/c-haired student left.

"Bennett is lucky to have Y/N-senpai as a friend," Razor whispered at him.

"Yeah . . ." Bennett smiled to himself.

Maybe no one said that out loud but everyone can see that Y/N and Bennett are really close. And that Bennett couldn't be more thankful and happy because of that.
