But. Not sure he thinks Arya was sold? I'm under the impression the BwB knows fArya is fake indeed (they know her, she can't have travelled through the riverlands inside a wheelhouse the entire time, and it's known she's came all the way from Kingslanding). I always thought Gendry and the BwB probably believed Arya to be dead, specially after the raid on Saltpans...
Could you please tell me how does Gendry act in AFFC to make you think that he thinks Sandor sold Arya to the Boltons? sorry haven't read the books.

Anyway, re your question, Gendry has only one appearance in AFFC, but it’s a memorable one. He’s working for the Brotherhood as a smith at the Inn at the Crossroads (note in the books Hot Pie chose to stay at a different inn) when Brienne and her party arrive there. Brienne realizes he looks like Renly (with a few minor differences) and is questioning him about his parentage when the inn is attacked by outlaws. Brienne defends the inn from the false Hound (Rorge, the noseless prisoner Arya had saved from the fire, wearing Sandor’s discarded Hound helm) and his men, and Gendry saves Brienne’s life when Biter (the other prisoner, the one with the teeth) attacks her… and then Gendry brings her to the Brotherhood afterwards.
As for how Gendry acts, Brienne’s narrative describes his eyes as “brimm[img] with anger and suspicion”. He’s reluctant to let Brienne and her companions stay at the inn, scowls and glowers, is short-tempered and unfriendly, “beat[s] on a sword as if he wished it were a foe”… And the part that really gets to me, is when he sees the man in the Hound helm, Gendry just says, “Him” and it doesn’t say he says it with loathing, but… I just get this feeling, you know? I mean, yes, at that point in the books the Hound was believed to have gone mad, murdering and raping, but I think for Gendry it’s much more personal.
(Note, btw, that in the books Arya ran off to be captured by the Hound shortly after having an argument with Gendry, so I’d bet if he does think Arya’s with the Boltons now, his guilt eats away at him like anything.)
