I don’t understand people who think reading is boring, my buddy, I have never been so stressed as I get at some of these plots and climaxes and when characters are about to finally kiss or someone dies and i’m just looking calm sitting there reading but internally i’m like askakdjalakhdjakak
I have no time for books that insist the world is solely dark and cruel. I see enough of that in the news. I needs books that insist, despite the darkness and cruelty, that some people are still kind.
Have you ever read a book and felt like the characters in it are familiar to you? like you feel as though you’ve known them for a long time and have a connection with them, even though this is the first time you’re reading about them?
