It was a beautiful spring day. The birds chirped happily outside as they fluttered in the breeze. The atmosphere at the Armed Detective Agency was unusually calm. The sun cast a warm glow over the office, and everyone seemed to be in good spirits. You, however, were slightly preoccupied with your favorite fruit—strawberries. You had always adored their vibrant color and sweet taste, and you couldn't help but crave them almost every day.

Lost in your thoughts, you didn't notice Fukuzawa approaching you until he cleared his throat gently. Startled, you looked up to find his kind eyes fixed upon you. "Is everything all right, Y/n?" he asked, his voice calm and soothing. He looked at you with his head slightly tilted.

Blushing slightly, you nodded and managed a small smile, looking up from the pile of papers from your desk. "Yes, Fukuzawa-san, everything's fine. I was just thinking about strawberries."

"Strawberries?" Fukuzawa repeated, his expression softening with genuine interest. "Ah, they are delightful fruits indeed. May I ask why you were pondering them?"

You felt a slight flutter in your chest at his attention. "Well, I absolutely love strawberries. The way they taste, their color... they're simply enchanting to me."

Fukuzawa's eyes crinkled slightly at the corners as he smiled warmly. "I can understand that. There is something captivating about their simplicity and elegance."

You nodded enthusiastically, feeling a connection forming between you. "Exactly! And it's not just the taste. It's the memories associated with them too. They've always been a source of comfort for me."

Fukuzawa listened attentively, his presence calming and supportive. "Food can indeed hold powerful memories and emotions. It's wonderful that strawberries bring you such joy."

A moment of silence passed between you before Fukuzawa spoke again, his voice gentle. "Would you like to accompany me to a nearby strawberry farm this weekend, Y/n? They have a beautiful selection, and I believe it would be a delightful experience for both of us."

Your heart skipped a beat, and a surge of excitement coursed through your veins. "I would love that, Fukuzawa-san! It sounds perfect." You said with enthusiasm.

Fukuzawa's smile deepened, and he extended his arm toward you, looking at you with care that came deep from his core. "Then it's settled. We shall embark on a strawberry adventure together."

Blushing profusely but unable to contain your happiness, you placed your hand in his and felt a warmth spread throughout your entire being. In that moment, you knew that this trip would be the start of something beautiful—a bond nurtured by the love for strawberries, and perhaps, something even deeper between you and Fukuzawa.

You and Fukuzawa established establish a tradition of visiting a strawberry farm ever spring.

He enjoys seeing how your face would brighten up at the sight of strawberries. He thinks it's cute, but would never admit it.

dazai's a stressed man — that's what years upon years of living in environments as active and tense as the mafia and the agency would do to anyone. so on the somewhat rare occasions that dazai softens around you, it's not a problem for you to oblige him.

ever since the two of you started dating, you haven't had a free night to yourself. nights that were once spent on the couch are now spent following dazai through the scarcely lit parts of yokohama, the only illumination of his figure being the soft rays of twilight bleeding from the sky.

on your little nights out, he never lets go of your hand. whether it's to tug you along cobblestone pathways or comfort you in the alleys you used to avoid, his fingers are always threaded through your own.

the more comfortable he gets with you, the more touchy he gets. dazai's arms seem like they were made to wrap around your waist, and you can't help but feel like a part of you's missing when his fingers aren't tangled with your own.

dazai's good with his words, and even better with his hands. only someone as adroit as dazai could make you see stars on your bedroom ceiling with just his fingers.

on nights when the agency works him like a dog, it's all you can do to keep your heart from melting when you see the way he falls asleep in your arms. for him, your touch is dangerously drug-like — something like a sedative, as he tells you the morning after.

dazai wouldn't have it any other way — he'd rather be addicted to you than to cigarettes or alcohol. and, lucky for him, he finds out after your first night in his sheets that you even taste better too.

one crisp evening after one too many glasses of whiskey, dazai's lips find their way to your collarbone, brushing across your skin in an almost ghost-like manner. the way he's holding himself back is almost painful to watch — the longing in his eyes plus the way he flexes his fingers pulls out a plea for him to just touch you from your lips.

one thing leads to another, and within a couple minutes your clothes are discarded to who-knows-where and all you can think about is how good dazai is to you.

and yet, even an hour later, he's holding himself back. despite being under the influence, dazai retains enough of his mind to resist the growing urge to fuck you to his heart's content. only after your pleas turn into full-on begging does he give in, deftly pushing your legs apart and sliding in effortlessly, mumbling praises on just how well you're taking him.

dazai eats you out like a man starved — when you convince him to fuck you with his tongue, he's ravenous. to him, you taste like heaven, and to someone who's certainly going to hell, he can't help but savor the taste of the paradise he'll never set foot in.

someone with such a tainted past like him doesn't deserve such a good girl like you. you shouldn't have to bear any part of the burden that rests on dazai's shoulders — it's not your fault he's so attracted to you.

that's a lie. the blame can only be put on you for being so accommodating, so comforting, so fucking perfect — at least, that's what dazai tells you from his spot in between your legs.

all good things come to an end — as a member of two of the most perilous organizations in yokohama, dazai knows this all too well. being surrounded by death and danger for half your life tends to destroy one's faith in destiny, and yet, as dazai watches you fall asleep on his chest, he dares to let himself hope against all odds.

all good things come to an end, but hopefully, this won't. he's invested far too much into this for it to crumble — if the worst happened, he'd never love again. it wouldn't be worth the risk, not if someone as perfect as you managed to slip through his fingers. he couldn't lose you, too.

so when he hears his thoughts mirrored on your lips, something in dazai's heart breaks. all his life, he'd been taught that permanence was a false promise. everything ended, good and bad, eventually. dazai had been taught to cut people off before they could hurt him, but for you?

if loving you was pain, then by all means, consider him a masochist.

six days and fourteen hours — that's how long dazai's been gone. on the fifteenth hour, he comes home.

two knocks on the door is all it takes for you to scurry over, flinging it open to your boyfriend's weary face, which lights up in elation once his eyes settle on you.

just a second later, you fall into each other — the two of you are a crumpled mess on the floor, or at least you are. 

wet, messy tears stream down your cheeks as an infinite number of you're okay's and i missed you's slip from your lips.

"i missed you too, darling," dazai murmurs, pressing his lips to the top of your head. "shouldn't you be sleeping?" he asks, untangling himself from around you and studying your face intently.

"i haven't slept much lately," you admit, wiping the seemingly endless tears with the back of your hand. maybe you're wrong, but somehow, dazai seems... healthier. he looks more at ease, even with the dark circles beneath his eyes.

"neither have i," he says dryly, hands on his knees as he stands up and offers you a hand. "it's a bit hard to sleep across from a murderous russian."

a shaky laugh slips out of your lips as you let dazai pull you up. he wraps an arm around your waist and hugs you closer to him, locking the door behind him with the other hand. 

"are you okay?" you ask, resting your head on his shoulder as he leads you to your shared bedroom. dazai smiles at your question and nods wordlessly, hand squeezing your waist reassuringly.

"i haven't seen you in a while," he says casually, tilting his head and closing the bedroom door behind him. "it's been—"

"six days and fifteen hours."

"i was gonna say 'lonely at night', but i suppose that works too." 

the corners of dazai's mouth curve upwards as he smiles and pulls you into his lap on the bed. "i missed you a lot, darling," he murmurs quietly, trailing his slender fingers through your hair.

dazai's eyes soften as he wraps his arms around you, burying his face in your neck. he's still in his work clothes, and he groans when you point that out.

"i don't care," he mutters, kissing your neck sulkily. "they're gonna come off either way after you tell me everything that's happened since i've been gone."

you ignore the first part of his sentence and sigh, loosening up and practically melting into dazai's chest. "nothing."

"surely something happened while i was gone, darling."

"nothing notable," you deadpan.

dazai presses his lips to your neck again, threading his fingers through your hair. "everything about you is notable, love. tell me something. anything."

you exhale a soft laugh and wrap your hands around his own, running your fingers over his calloused hands. "where do i even begin..."

Today I would like to share with you my list of tags and terms I have filtered on tumblr in an attempt to avoid female reader insert posts.

As posts slipped through the cracks, I added the specific words and phrases used to my lists.

I still encounter fem reader posts DAILY. Sometimes there’s nothing I can add to the filters, because it’s just she/her pronouns. Or the word “girl” which I (for obvious reasons) don’t want to filter from all of tumblr.

You might say, why not just stop reading reader insert? Because it’s a genre I truly like. When I come across a gender neutral or masc reader insert post, I feel happy! I can lose myself in the world and have the characters act as though they’re interacting with me. That immersion breaks when they misgender me. And man, getting misgendered by your comfort character sucks on a whole different level.

Anyway, if you read any part of this post, read this:

Not all readers are female. If you write reader insert, mark the gender of the reader somewhere. Even just saying the word “female” or “fem” even once will be enough for my filter system to catch it.

Sorry for ranting, I’m just really fed up with this. I don’t mind if it’s hard for me to curate my online experience, but it pisses me off when it’s impossible.

anyway the reader is not part of the mafia,but shes Gins bestfriend and she has a huge crush on Akutagawa,and Gin is aware of that.(Akutagawa hasnt met the reader,but the reader has seen him for several times and shes obsessed with him lol)

Gin has told the reader that theres a girl in the mafia that has a crush on his brother too,and then she showed her Higuchis picture,and that how the reader knows her.

so once that the reader comes to Gins house (Akutagawas not there) Gin tells her that Higuchis is comming to give her some kinda envelope crao from work.so when the doorbell rings,the reader gets an evil idea to annoy Higuchi.

"Ugh shut up!just stop fucking fangirling over my brother,you idiot" Gin sighed and throw her pillow a you.you were driving her crazy with your huge,stupid crush on her brother.it was even worst than Higuchi!

Honestly,it was weird to her how her brother was so attractive to her female friends!

y/n pretended to wipe her tears of joy while she was holding Akutagawas picture. "just look at him already! god i cant believe you get to see him 24/7! being able to see this beautiful,amazing creature all day long...just,god!"

"ok first of all i dont get to see my brother 24/7 ! were both stuck with work! and second of all,im his sister for gods sake! he seems normal to me"

"what! so whenever you see him you dont want to just rip his damn coat off and ask him to fuck the shit out of you? "

"omg what he fuck!? hes my brother you dumbass! thats so fucking gross!" Gin wanted to hit her friend with anoher pillow again,but the sound of her ringtone didnt let her to. taking a glance at her phone, she grabbed it and looked at y/n with an confused look. "its Higuchi"

"that bitch! what does she want?"

"ill tell you when i answer her call"

"put it on the speaker mode!"

Gin waited for a few seconds,then she answered her colleagues phone call while looking at y/n's concentrated,pissed reaction as she heard Higuchis voice.

"Hi Gin! how are you?"

Gin mumbled and smiled "im fine i guess,how are you?"

then she nearly screamed,cause y/n was pinching her.

Higuchis voice sounded kinda shocked. "what happended? are you ok Gin?"

"i-im fine! my stupid dog just bit me!" Gin said,while slowly punching y/n with an irritated face.

"you have a dog?"

"what do you want Higuchi? im kinda in a rush"

"ok ok.um,boss told to delivere you an envelope that contains details about your next mission...?"

"oh the envelope! yes i was expecting it! im at home right now,lemme send you the address"

"omg Akutagawa senpais addre- i mean,yes,thank you" Higuchi said,before hanging up and leaving the two girls alone.

y/n got off the bed and started shouting at Gin with an angry look in her face. "what is wrong with you? you wanna give him the address so shell come here too see Ryuunosuke whenever she feels like it?"

"excuse me but im not gonna let your stupid fantasies interrupt my work.also,dont worry!my brothers not easy at all"

"what fantasies? and what of she seduces-" suddenly she stopped talking,because she just had the most amazing idea. based on what she heard from Gin,Higuchi wouldnt tell anything about it to Akutagawa,so it was gonna be awesome!

looking back at her friend, y/n strated talking while trying to hide her devilish smile,but Gin was able to see it. "you know what? send her the address and tell her to come here quickly"

"whats on your mind,you crazy weirdo? i dont like the look on your face."

"just do what im telling you to,and everything will be fine"

Gin wasnt really positive about it,but since it was for her work she couldnt really do anything.She sighed and started texting Higuchi the address as she took a glance at her friend and her happy reaction.

the two girls were talking when the doorbell rang.

"i got it! i got it! " y/n almost flied at the door,and before she open it,she started taking her clothes off.

"hey! what are y-" "shhhh! dont let her know youre here" y/n said,while covering her body with a white blanket.she then took a deep breath, and opened the door.

Higuchi immediatelly froze.seeing an strange,naked girl in her senpais house...could it be that...?

"um,hi,is Gin here?"

"hi.Gin left a while ago.just Ryuu and i are here" y/n said as she smiled at the blonde girls shocked reaction. "do you have something to do with my sister in law?"

"well i-...w-what?sister...in law?..."

"hehe..not officially...but kinda.Ryuu and i dont want others to know yet,but since you seem kinda close to Gin,i dont think its neccesary to keep it from you"

"Ryuu?...Akutagawa senpai?! youre..."

"but- how- when- what?how can it be-" "so you wanna delivere her this envelope,right? ill give it to her! i kinda have to go,cause as it looks,Ryuunosuke and i are in the middle of something,you know...hehe. thank you for stopping by!" y/n said,before snapping the envelope out of Higuchis hands,closing the door on her shocked face.

Gin on the otherhand,was even more shocked than Higuchi.she closed her mouth (which was open wide from surprise) and came toward her friend. "you really are a bitch,you know that?"

the young girl gave Gin a smile which was huge because of the victory she had just earned,and held the blanket tightly.

"i know,but im also gonna be Mrs. Akutagawa"

ok ok imagine that it was Akutagawa behind the door instead of Higuchi.he'll be like, bruh what the fuck? and you'll be like, i swear im not a lesbian lmao XDDDD
