And while he was being tormented by the Hollow/Inadu and Cami was the one who showed up, it was basically his mind so when she said "I know your heart" that was just Klaus himself acknowledging Camille was one of the persons who knew him the best

Klamille vs Klaroline?

klamille for sure.

this isn’t just because i don’t like klaroline. i disliked that ship before i knew klamille was a thing. klaroline just felt like a bunch of scenes with the bad boy good girl trope. no cohesion, no relevance to the plot, nothing. it came out of nowhere and felt very random. and also idk where kc fans spun the narrative that caroline brought out good things in klaus. if she really did he wouldn’t have killed carol lockwood. he wouldn’t have hurt caroline. he wouldn’t have told tyler to bite her. if caroline had any impact over him other than some physical attraction he wouldn’t have done all of those things.

but klamille, this is a ship that’s really good. we see a softer side of klaus, where he cares about someone outside of his family. he even trusts her to take her to hope, when he could have easily compelled her. he has a sort of tenderness with her that we don’t see with many of his other love interests. unlike klaroline, his love for cami extends to the people close to her. like father kieran, detective kinney. he helps those people just because cami wished it. plus, when he was being imprisoned by marcel and the hollow, he imagined cami, which kind of speaks for itself.

it will never not be funny to me that out of all of klaus 3 main love interest, hope ended up having a better relationship with aurora than cami or caroline 😭 aurora took the step mother title CK and KC stans have been trying to claim for their fave for a decade!

Like, Cami only knew Hope for the first two years of her life and while she probably loved her as if she was her own daughter, Hope didn't remember her at all and everything she knew about her were things Hayley told her (because it's canon that Hayley told Hope about Cami and Jackson, a producer said it a long time ago) and the only time Hope mentioned Camille was so offputting. It's clear she didn't really have an opinion of her, and I honestly can't blame her.

With Caroline is even more strange, because apparently Hope always had been a troubled kid in school and the only close relationship she had with an adult was Alaric, because if she was close to Caroline I'm pretty sure Lizzie would had mentioned it. So they weren't close, and asides from Hope wanting to belong into the Saltzman family because her own family didn't give a damn about her, that's all they were to each other more or less. Perhaps they could get closer as she's now the headmistress, but Hope already has a mother figure in Freya and I don't see them having a mother-daughter bond, just being good friends because Hope loved Klaus and despite everything her father did to her, Caroline definitely wouldn't be throwing every single one of his sins in her face like Alaric did.

But the last moments between Aurora and Hope are heartwarming, their whole dynamic was so touching and it proved Rory could definitely had loved her if they were given the chance. I mean, in the few days she was with Klaus in the modern world she definitely knew about his then baby daughter and considering they were together/kind of, I'm pretty sure she thought about the fact that she would become her stepmother. That didn't end up happening, but still. After all, she did see the best parts of Klaus in Hope.

In short words, Aurora had spent her whole life hating the Mikaelson family and loving and despising Klaus in equal manners, so having her give her life for Hope was such a good way to end her character. Imagine Hope, who had grown - mostly - only hearing bad things from her father be told he wasn't pure evil and that she wasn't either.

Either way, Tristan must be rolling on his grave as we speak lmao

I'm still not over about how Klaus was fucking turned on after seeing Cami drink blood. Like, the way she pulls him while talking about how good it felt and he's just like 😻😈🥵

They def fucked after that. It may have not been shown onscreen, but it was pretty much clear.

Cami and klamille antis are just impossible to take seriously because they never have an actual reason as to why they hate her and her relationship with Klaus outside shipping him with someone else.

Their gym breakup (3x15) is definitely my favorite klamille moment too, along with the end scene of 3x10, where they slept together for the first time.

I just love how gutted Klaus looks as Cami says her feelings for him aren't the same anymore because she died. It was obviously a lie, but Klaus probably believed it anyway, and it certainly looked like it. He was trying to convince her so hard he only loved her and did not care for what Aurora had done to her and their relationship, because nothing could ever change the way he felt about her, only for Cami to turn around, break his heart and leave him moody for the rest of the season.

The way Klaus teared up and looked genuinely ready to burst into tears unless he got as far away from her because she had that kind of power over hits different when we remember who Klaus is, and that makes it even more bittersweet. And the fact he came back to tell her he would always come back for her, no matter what, speaks wonders about how deeply he felt for her. I'm so mad they deleted that scene, they knew giving us too much klamille would make it impossible to root for any other ship concerning both characters.

The end scene of 3x10 is chef's kiss. It's just so alluring, and no one will convince me they didn't have sex because it's just so obvious they did. We all know vampires see blood sharing as the biggest kind of intimacy, heightened by sex, and Cami was telling Klaus about how her first time tasting human blood felt, making it clear it felt more than good. He looks entranced by her, a look that only enhances when she pulls him into her space in a way less than platonic.

Then, because of the next episode, we know she stayed the night, his bed is a mess, there's a blood bag on it and apparently, and as Elijah said, "Klaus impulsively handed her a daylight ring". Hayley says she saw her leaving around sunrise from her balcony too, which just makes it all the more obvious.

I love 3x02 as well. She yelled at him, appeared in his house at night out of nowhere, and all he could do was smile at her like a lovesick fool because she was no longer angry at him. They were the cutest, and Klaus was so obviously wrapped around her finger.

Hope was only seven when she left. She had known the woman since birth. They had become close over the years. Hope looked up to the woman as a mother figure. When she left, she was heartbroken. Even years after, she still missed her profoundly.

When it happened, she clung to the small hope that she would come back, just like she promised.

She had asked her aunt Freya why she left but, she never got an answer. She knew better than to ask her parents.

Hope was smart. She figured she left because of Klaus. After all, they were engaged when she ran off.

And even though she had practically abandoned her, Hope still loved the woman.

She had kept the locket the woman gifted her on her fifth birthday. It was beautiful. It had a gold pendant that opened to show a picture, Hope and the woman playing on swings. Klaus had taken the photo, one of the rare occasions the mikaelsons got to be a normal family.

She remembered the day she left vividly. Klaus and the women were fighting again. She was crying again.

Tears, there were a lot of tears, from the woman, from Klaus, from Hope. It was a bad day.

"Please don't go," Hope held on to her as tight as she could. How could she let go?

"Hope, sweetie, I have to go," The woman spoke as her voice broke, attempting to hold the rest of her tears back.

"But, I promise I'll come back," She bent down to the young girl's level, removing a stray hair from her face.

"Promise?"

"I promise," She whispered softly, placing a soft kiss on her head, before leaving.

That was the last time Hope saw her.

Now, Hope was going to transition, without her family, her mother, her father. Her mind couldn't help but drift back to the woman. She wondered if she was ok. She wondered if she had a family or if she was even alive.

"That was, uh, a bit of a stall, 'cause there's somebody who wanted to make it here in time." Alaric sighed, leading her to the room.

Hope thought she was dreaming, she was here, she was actually here. 

She looked the same, she had the same smile, the same eyes.

"Ana?" Hope whispered.

I never thought I would hear her voice again. I never thought I would see her again. She was beautiful.

"Hello, gorgeous," She hugged me. I assumed she would be mad, but she wasn't. I'm glad I could be here in her last moments.

"You're still wearing it," I spoke, watching her play with the locket I had given her.

"Always," She responded softly, looking up at me.

"It was like having you close to me," She continued as I sat down on the bed in front of her.

"You have questions, I'm more than ready to answer," I addressed, glancing at her expressionless face. She really was her father's daughter.

"Why did you leave?" She asked, her eyes were filled with sadness. I hated seeing her sad.

"Wow, starting with the hard stuff huh?" I laughed slightly.

"I left for me," I answered honestly.

"Your father and I didn't have the best relationship. We fought a lot. Hope, your dad and I didn't meet after you were born. We met before," Her expression changed.

"Wait, did my dad cheat on you?"

"Hope, I'm not saying this to put your dad in a bad light, but yes, your father was unfaithful to me,"

She looked disgusted. I grabbed her hand, stroking it gently, attempting to calm her down.

"Hope, I forgave him," I whispered shakily.

“He wasn’t a bad person. He was the man I loved.”

"Then why did you leave? I don't understand. I needed you," She hiccupped.

"I know sweetie, I'm so sorry," I wrapped my hands around her, hugging her tightly.

"It was after I turned. I felt ignored he was spending more time with Cami and we were fighting so much. I just had to leave. I had to go,"

"I understand. I just really missed you,"

"I missed you too," I whispered hugging her again.

"What's it like?" Hope asked. It was almost time.

"At first, there's nothing, and slowly you start to realize that there's nothing, that's your consciousness reigniting, then the light trickles in. Everything is heightened and different, but for me, the first thing I noticed was the beauty, of everything. I felt sort of angry I had been missing all of this beauty my whole life," I summarized, looking at the daylight ring Klaus had given me.

Most vampires' transitions were traumatic. I understood why, your life was over, you were no longer alive. I’m thankful my experience was different, mine was kind of wonderful. I was surrounded by people I loved, people who had experience with this kind of thing.

"Wow, that sounds magical," She uttered in awe.

"It was," I answered honestly.

“He loved you, you know?”

“I know,”

"Are you ready?" I asked.

"As I'll ever be,"
