Hey @photomatt if you think the car explosion hammers “threat” was that scary, imagine what receiving actual threats is like? Imagine receiving threats every day of being murdered or raped or other horrid things, all the while being called slurs? Would you be scared? Because that’s what trans people on this site have to deal with while you do NOTHING to help. You only step in when your fragile ego is targeted, of course.

Bro this fuckin website will flag a trans woman’s face for being “inappropriate” and then immediately follow it up with “Stuff we think you’ll like on Tumblr TV” and the thumbnail is a pair of naked tits covered in a suspicious white substance. Porn bots run rampant but yeah, it’s definitely the trans people that are the real problem.

But let’s be real, rampant porn bots own large swaths of this website. Stolen photos of trans women get posted here all the time either in aggregated accounts or by literal impersonators. Predstrogen had a long standing account, is a real person, and was facing harassment and stalking that wasn’t being addressed by the moderation team. Who wouldn’t be fucking pissed?
She got nuked for reasons that are verifiably bullshit. I’ve chosen to rally around the fact that @staff went so far as to delete her fucking transition photos (before the account entirely) - by continuing to share mine.
I wish no ill will on @photomatt or their family nor do I wish any physical harm against any member of @staff. I am merely speaking out against the leadership of a website I care a lot about making horrible decisions that affect me and my friends. I find it absolutely ridiculous how much easier and safer I feel it is for me to be trans in public in a conservative part of the country vs. here online where there is such callous disregard for me and those people like me. I would say do better, but I don’t believe that you will.
