What do you think of your family's endeavors in relationships?
They're... Certainly an interesting bunch. I may not necessarily favor their choice of partners, but as long as they're happy and being treated how they deserve to be treated, I have nothing to say about it.

I just think it’s funny how if I want some time to myself it’s this whole big thing that he has to call back on 20 years worth of baggage for but if he decides to go and disappear on some suicidal martyrquest or whatever the fuck I’m supposed to just let him. Like there’s different rules for him just because he has this stupid death wish or God chose him or some other BS. i wouldn't really know anything definite. we lost touch after graduation, and even so, he was always off doing whatever. i heard a rumor he went off and joined a rock band. another one said he got arrested for possession of a gun. for all i know, it could be either one, knowing him.
he and claire didn't last long at all. if he got arrested, they broke up before that, and i don't even think it was much of a proper relationship. claire's father was more of the 'what am i doing wrong that you'd wanna be seen with that hoodlum?' type, so inevitably, claire felt too guilty, and john treated her like shit. i assumed it was the natural course of things back then.

im doing fine. lifes alright, i managed to get away from my parents. they always sort of treated me like a freak, but i got a pretty hefty sum of money because i promised to get out of their hair forever. so i did, i live in chicago now, and im doing better than just talking to walls in alleyways of grochery stores. i work at a cafe, and i have a little programming gig that i got into. it makes me happy, and i hope to go full-time once i get better. it'll allow me to work from home, and that helps with sensory stuff.

hm. im gonna have to say claire. she was always so pretty, and i hope she ended up with something that made her happy, knowing her parents, and knowing her. i picked up an old journal from years ago when i was cleaning out my room in the process of moving out, and ill transcribe an excerpt here. "Claire's beautiful, beautiful like Autumn leaves, and she deserves someone better than Bender, better than teenage rebellion. She deserves the mountains, and the lakes, and the ridges, and the country sky." i think i was in love with her back then.

their pretty friendly :) shes also one of those cats where they love to have their stomach rubbed. usually most cats hate it, but she loves it for whatever reason

most of the time she just curls up in my lap, but she also likes going outside. sometimes, she'll be out all day, and then when i let her back in, she'll be tired and curl up with me. its adorable :)
How's Brian doing now, if you don't mind me asking?
I'm unsure, I heard that he's working as an accountant, for a company in Chicago, but I don't really have anything feasible to really back that. Whatever he's doing, I just hope he found peace, I guess. It was sad seeing him like that.
