No one can tell me that when Matthew as well as James & Cordelia are on their big voyages respectively, they won’t meet up someplace in the world at least once. Like maybe not in Paris and not immediately but you really think they could bear to be separated for that long?

Thinking about how Christopher’s death was essentially a punishment for Grace since everyone else got their happy paired-up ending (cause for Matthew not being paired up is the happy ending). Like obviously there is so much more to Kit as a character and how his death affected everyone else, but in light of how happy endings usually look in CCs books it’s worth pointing out that the one character who is hated by large parts of the fandom and has committed an offence that would by many be considered to be irredeemable was robbed of it.
