Guyssssss I keep thinking about Yuuji's domain (anime only friendly post)

Mainly when he was chasing Mahito down at the end, and the scene kept changing to snowy, with rabbits, and when he stepped on one, I THINK I KNOW WHAT IT MEANS HEAR ME OUT PLS

Mahito sees souls, and they're relevant to an individual's innate domain, yeah?

I think that Mahito can see Yuuji's domain even before he's able to be aware of it himself.

Yuuji's the anti-sukuna, Gege said that Yuuji would be a firefighter if he weren't a sorcerer (and had no comments on anyone else's alternate career path).

Also when Gojo told Yuuji to "stay frosty" during the movie training. And the way that Gojo wouldn't tell Yuuji if he had any cursed techniques, because Sukuna would have taken advantage of them.

Also the rabbit?? Like from Megumi's rabbit escape shikigami. Mahito was trying to escape and failing. Alsooooo I think Yuuji's domain might not have a barrier, because of sukuna's muscle memory maybe. Idk.

But this fits the theory I keep seeing of Yuuji's domain being like a freezer, though I said it would be more like water bc Uraume already has ice. And bc Megumi's max elephant is colored like Yuuji, and it's like. They match w that and the rabbits

Anyway it looks like Yuuji's domain is snow, bc that's what Mahito saw and bc it makes sense, he got the cold and the water but not ice. Idk if I would die on this hill but it feels solid enough.

And maybe he can even do something cryogenic you know?? I've been thinking that sukuna's main stuff is slicing and burning

Yuuji would have the cold, but what else? Something healing, right? Putting things back together?

Thoughts on Nanako & Mimiko (whether they have cursed techniques or cursed objects, how their CT works) but no solid answers this time (help me pls)

Maybe they don't have any cursed techniques. But they can see curses. Maybe Mimiko's doll was a cursed object (or the rope around it), or maybe Geto gave them cursed objects so they would be able to defend themselves against non-sorcerers.

In hidden inventory we see that old man whose only friend was a dog bc he could see curses and that alone was enough to freak people out and alienate him.

With the way that twins work, is there any precedent for them both having a cursed technique?

Even among siblings, I can't think of any. Nitta, the supervisor, can barely see curses and transferred with her brother so she could look out for him.

The death paintings would be an exception, but that could explain why Kenjaku mixed his blood into it as Noritoshi Kamo. Maybe he chose that body for this reason. And I've speculated a lot about him having more kids, but pacts no longer apply to him after leaving a certain body, so that restriction wouldn't apply to him.

If one of them has a cursed technique, it would have to be Nanako, and Mimiko threatens people with her doll, I guess.

Or maybe somehow their technique only works when they are together? We never see them work alone. Actually, the one time when Nanako fails to use it (to kill sukuna) is when Mimiko is gone.

But we never see them use a different object, as far as I know. It might be drawn differently at times but I don't think that has any significance.

So ig that's something else to look for on this reread.

It just doesn't make sense to me for Yuuji's domain to be contrasted against fire, when Sukuna's main thing is slicing - several techniques dedicated just to that, and he has to go through this process to open his ability to use fire.

But it took me some time to figure out the opposite of slicing, until it felt obvious w the cryogenic thing. Sukuna's able to heal people, too, and Yuuji has learned so much that it would kind of shock me if he never gets there.

He also ate all those death painting curse wombs, which feels like a symbolism for the cycle of life. Cycles are a theme that even made it into the title of jujutsu kaisen.

He's such a troll to he'd probably say "pls kys" and everyone would panic

Maybe it would still affect anyone without cursed energy. He only finds out after yelling "pls shit yourself" in public.

ATTENTION JUJUTSU KAISEN FANDOM

As a fellow manga reader and anime watcher of the series, I have decided to think about creating cursed techniques for the sake of meta, fun, and creating cursed techniques that would be fun to debatable and how they will function in practice and in the battle field!

Therefore I will create a Cursed Technique masterlist and have my own creativity work on creating types of Cursed Techniques to work in the JJK series, whether it's for sorcerers and for curses!

I thought it be a fun way to show my creativity in the manga/anime world as I do with my Teen Wolf, Titans, and Hunger Games world's.

anyway im writing a jjk crossover, and im so stuck on Fontaine and Furina's story you can see its influenced it a lot. its not a genshin crossover though lmfao. i still have the dialogue memorized. "For the sinner, the curtain call has come."

this is also influenced by. well. MANGA SPOILERS (for like the. preparation arc whatcha ma call it? post-shibuya). but. you know. that guy who when he hits like the jackpot he gets like. basically immortal for as long as like i think the theme song lasts?? but he can like, keep triggering more of like th thingies so if hes really lucky iirc, he could keep going on and on?

(Melpomene, the innate technique where he’d put on a ‘mask’ and perform for an invisible audience. Effects vary depending on the type and/or popularity points gained. Unable to be harmed when this is in effect, however in turn, making an error such as going off script, messing up, or being boring/unsatisfying will grant him punishment.

Alternatively, if he goes off script or does an action not in the performance but making it entertaining will grant him bonus points with the audience. This can include attacks against enemies, especially with the use of cursed energy and whatever weapon he has, however messing up will of course provide consequences.

Think of it as a judgement scale but based on audience reaction. Horrible performances leave him ‘sentenced’. One of those sentences include the death sentence (more likely to be triggered by a shameful defeat, where he’s facing an opponent so overpowering that the audience isn’t happy. When it happens, the blade of a guillotine will rise above his head, and he will perform [The Curtain Call], dancing his last moments away, before finally lowering his head, bowing to the audience, and decapitating himself), the risk granting him more power then otherwise. 

When giving what could be considered a perfect performance (very rare), he will trigger [Apotheosis], automatically forming a domain named [Sinner’s Finale] with a sure-hit factor, where the opponent is on the stage, facing the judgement of the audience. 

Like all domains, if the opponent is strong enough, [Sinner’s Finale] will fail, and [technique user, im not giving away who] will get punished in their stead, triggering [The Curtain Call]. The risk of [Sinner’s Finale] however boosts him to where it is very unlikely that it’ll happen, as most strong opponents will get the idea of what conditions he needs to trigger and thus prevent him from performing a perfect performance.

He cannot use Domain Expansion otherwise however.)
