Announcing DAVEKAT WEEK 2023 running from September 17th to September 23rd!
Davekat week is an annual event with the purpose of celebrating and creating content (be it drawings, music, fanfic, crafts, etc.) around the fictional pairing between Dave Strider and Karkat Vantas, each day of the week encouraging a unique theme for your art!
DAY 1
Sunday, September 17th: CANON (Whether it be a panel redraw or filling in the gaps between interactions, reimagine a moment from the comic!)
DAY 2
Monday, September 18th: FANON (Give us all your favorite headcanons, tropes, cliches! Feel free to be cringe and free <3)
DAY 3
Tuesday, September 19th: QUADRANTS (What it says on the tin, explore all the different quadrant dynamics these two encapsulate!)

Something something, I scribbled on my bus ride because I just have to pay tribute to one of the best co-op games: Castle Crashers. let's not talk about the fact I drew this on my phone during a shaky ride, what can I say? Davekat must be delivered.

From where I'm from, Ashura is kids favorite holiday: brand new Eid clothes, various candy and snacks but especially, new toys.
That's the first thing that popped up when looking up @davekatweek today's theme, and I'm a firm believer in drawing Karkat the crabby troll smiling. 🦀
I just started my college classes soooooo... here is collegestuck davekat I drew waiting.
