My submission for the big Fantasy High art collab that’s going on, I drew that one fire elemental that showed Fabian the beauty of dance.
War is hell, and humans certainly are messy. Grillby just wants this war with the humans over already.

Pile 1) Innocence (more like a name), palete, spouse, mars, color
"how angry it makes me see you suffer in the streets, Innocence. how terrified it gives me to see you hide the palettes in your beautiful gaze. what horror, it makes me startle, when you try to lower yourself. when on Mars I asked for myself, the best color for existing, I didn't know this color would be so sad without you."
Pile 2) awake, pain, in orbit, sister, crown
"when you wake up and roll over in pain, the orbit of all the stars exudes a colorless glow. like the clothes of the sisters in the crowns, living without you hurts. without your hands on your proper crown. living without peace hurts. forgetting who you are is a dread. living this way can hurt, if you always doubt your worth."
Pile 3) evergarden (more like a name or nickname), bees, together, shadow, tank
"evergarden, when it seems that all around you there is a swarm of bees, buzzing and buzzing, stinging and hurting; know that we are in this together, not against each other. we are in this together, not against each other. what shines also has its shadow, it is right? leave your sorrows in a distant tank; feel, but don't suffer like that."

"look up the stars. it takes two for me to live a life like yours. don't worry because all the planets will arrange themselves in your favor okay? you'll get a good gift from the universe soon. stay strong, I love you. read again, if you feel like it."

Antimony Carver from Gunnerkrigg Court.
I originally coloured her with markers, because those were an expensive present and I really want to learn how to use them properly. However my colour choice is limited and I wasn't totally happy with it, so I also faffed around with it on Photoshop and made two other versions with less colour.
I put these in my drafts and forgot them! Red and Blue fire elementals. They were super fun to paint, lots of drybrushing which is always fun to do with a lot of sculpted detail.
This is my first time trying to paint fire effects, and I think it turned out fairly well! Room for improvement certainly, but it does read as fire when you look at it I think, and thats the main thing.
I tried making some sort of obsidian-gravel looking bases to put these on, but they didn't really work out, so I just tried painting a sort of gradiant like they're glowing from the elementals on them. It sorta worked? IDK, its fine ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
