zhongli may be technically human but his dragon instincts/senses are still there, which means he can sense when your period’s going to come before you do
as soon as you start groaning in pain about the cramps, he will not hesitate to run to bubu pharmacy to get all your needs taken care of

will also buy you as many sweets/snacks as you want (poor childe’s mora)
if you want to, then he’s alright with laying with you and purring to help ease the pain in a way (I’ve heard that cats purrs are healing to people, so I decided that zhongli does the same thing, u can’t change my mind)
luckily hu tao let him off for a bit to take care of you, cause she too knows how agonising periods can get. she told him he’s going to have to work during some of the holidays in return but anything for u <33

when you’re on your period, there’s only one way to explain how xiao reacts
panic
he doesn’t know how to deal with the pain you’re in, which low key makes him feel useless and like he doesn’t deserve you in his life :(
even tho you’re the one in pain, you’re going to have to reassure him and try to show him the ropes
he surprises you with some pain medication and a heat pad along with some sweets and snacks
also he asks if he can brush your hair to help you relax a bit more
which is super soothing, he’s surprisingly good at brushing your hair

where were you? you can’t exactly tell right now, everything’s too blurry. a sudden groan interrupts your train of thought, so you decide to investigate. slowly treading along the unknown path, a gruesome sight beholds you, crepus, your father, in a puddle of his own blood.
jolting up, you double check your surroundings, sweat soaking your body, breath short and labored, and are those tears cascading down your face? recognising your surroundings as the dawn winery, you’re thumping heart calms a little.
quickly jumping out of bed, you proceed to somewhat sprint out of your room and towards your brothers’. even in stress, you desperately knock on the door, praying to the archons that your brother is awake or home.
the door opens, revealing diluc, who at first seemed confused, but as he realised who it is, he quickly kneels down to the ground and opens his arms, to which you don’t hesitate and run into his embrace.
diluc picked you up, holding you upright and rubbing your back. you noticed that your breathing became less labored as you melted into his warmth, which in a way was very similar to your fathers.
no words were exchanged throughout the night, yet diluc could tell that you dreamt of him yet again. the red head insisted that you slept with him tonight, and that it won’t be any trouble at all.
you begrudgingly agreed to his request and slept in his bed, snuggling right up against him throughout the whole night. surprisingly you didn’t have another nightmare that night, you only dreamt of the happy times when your father was alive and your brothers were close to each other.

a/n: this is extremely self indulgent (since it’s my bday tomorrow (29th of dec) and tighnari shares the same bday as me, so reader and tighnari are sharing each other’s birthdays together <3
“happy birthday love!” you exclaimed, before giving tighnari a kiss on the cheek. tighnari huffed, upper body stretching and ears twitching. “no, you’re not going to do forest watcher shenanigans today mister, I let everyone know that today is a special day and that you’re taking the day off” you explained.
“why didn’t you tell me about this?” tighnari huffed, crossing his arms over his chest and pouting. “It was a surprise! plus it’s both of our birthdays’, so I thought we could just celebrate together with cake” you muttered, smooshing your face against tighnaris’ neck.
eventually you somehow managed to drag tighnari out of bed and into the main room, where it was dark. you switched the light on, revealing that collie, cyno, dehya and alhaithem were there with party hats on their head and party poppers in their hands. “surprise!” everyone exclaimed, as an explosion of confetti covered the room.
“I didn’t plan this, tig” you thought aloud, dumbfounded by the sight of his and your friends. collie came up to you and explained how she put it all together since she knew about your birthdays and wanted to surprise you both on your special day.
“aww that’s so sweet of you!” you squealed, bringing the green haired girl into a bear hug. when you separated from the hug, you noticed that there was a cake, which both you and collie made a day prior.

you and tighnari were snuggled together, you sitting on his lap. and for the rest of the night, you and him just enjoyed the peace and quiet, whilst also giving each other little kisses everywhere
