I still wake up to the thought of you. I go to sleep with the thought of you. It’s just everything in between that’s different.
To whoever is lucky enough to be her’s next,
You better treat her right. She has a team of people behind her who will fuck you up if you don’t. Yes, I’m included in that and trust me you don’t want to mess with the people I love.
Treat her like a goddess, for she is one. When she gets upset give her space but make sure she knows she can come back to you and talk. Don’t let go first. Don’t let go of her hand first and don’t let go of the hug first. Learn to read her facial expressions for they are the key to how she’s feeling. She’ll need you to give her a push sometimes, but not too hard. You’ll know when you’ve pushed enough. Take her on cute dates, surprise her with any and everything. Make it known that she deserves the world, but don’t underestimate the fact that she can achieve it herself! Stand by her as she conquers. Show up. Show up to her games and support her. Wait for her outside of class, or whatever so she knows you’re not going anywhere. Over communicate. If you’re not sure if it’s important to tell her, tell her anyway. Her pal’s opinions matters, be nice to them. Be nice to her dog, and every other dog you meet.
She is strong and resilient, but she doesn’t know her full strength. Remind her of it. She’ll try to push you away if she doesn’t think she’s enough. Remind her every day that she is more than enough. She’s sensitive to tone of voice and looks. Do not ever raise your voice at her. If you find yourself getting irritated, tell her you need a moment to collect your thoughts, she’ll understand. She is extremely caring and kind. Don’t you dare take that for granted. She gets excited over small things, it’s adorable! Get excited with her no matter how small you think it is. She likes forehead kisses, they calm her when she gets anxious. She’ll get anxious. Remind her you are there and ask her if she wants to run through calming exercises or talk through it. If not, sit with her. Hold her tight. She shows her love in small but beautiful ways, recognize them and tell her you appreciate her and everything she does. She has a habit of putting herself to the side to help others. Tell her it’s beautiful when she helps the people she loves, but remind her she’s got to take care of herself as well. She probably won’t tell you if something is bothering her so pay attention to her demeanor and how she talks. Calmly ask her what’s getting to her and she usually opens up. But you have to be calm. If she thinks you’re doing it out of necessity or because you feel you have to, she won’t tell you everything. She’s sassy and you’ll love it! If she’s ever not sassy for a while, you need to ask her what’s wrong. Sass her back, it’ll make her laugh.
I don’t know why I’m telling you all my secrets. I guess it’s because out of everything I want her to be happy. And if you make her happy, then I suppose I can help you make her even more happy. But if she ever tells you she still loves me, she still thinks about me, send her back to me! Trust me!
- The one who still loves her
Realizing you were put on earth to give more love than you receive...
“I will love you if I never see you again, and I will love you if I see you every Tuesday.”
— Lemony Snicket
Just because you’re used to it doesn’t make it okay.
I’m starving for a good conversation.
And I know we aren’t a fairy tale. I know that because of three things:
There are no gay fairy tales
We have flaws, we aren’t perfect
Fairy tales aren’t real. And what we have is raw and real
I don’t want fairy tales. I want real and I want imperfections that make us each other’s definition of perfection and I want to be very, very gay with you!
What’s the one song on your playlist that you always skip, but refuse to take off?
I just wish you loved me as much as I love you.
Damn, I really changed my plans for you.
