Gonna do the 4.2 archon quest after I finish my law project! Then, i’ll talk about it and also revamp my OC. I’ve seen cutscenes and people talking and i’m very excited to talk about Furina’s character! I didn’t really expect this lol.

I have a theory, you can hear furina cries when you go to the fountain and turn off all volume but not voices, she says is “so lonely” , and the prophecy says that “only the hydro archon will remain, weeping on her throne”. And “the people will all be dissolved into the waters”. My theory is that the prophecy is true and we are hearing the future tears of her when she is weeping on her throne

it’s only three words often used in daily conversation, but it becomes something entirely new when strung together and said with true meaning. furina often felt as if she wasn’t truly deserving of love, having played the role of a god while being a lowly human for hundreds of years. she was but a liar, a fraud. after being given a vision by the dragon sovereign himself for the hundreds of years of suffering and lies, she tried to enjoy her now mortal life to the best of her ability. one thing she had desired for many years was someone to love, being unable to date someone due to her false immortality. they’d simply die long before the true archon was killed to make her mortal.
but you were different. never once did you hesitate because of her past. was this what real love was supposed to feel like? you never felt like the artificial affection she had to contend with as a public figure. sensationalized, no one really knew her desires, dislikes, and who she was behind the mask. well, no one but you.
it was a warm afternoon spent strolling the streets with furina. you hadn’t meant to let the words slip out of your mouth like that, terrified of how she’d react. she had initially thought you were lying, similarly to how everyone seemed to when they said they loved her. yet, you didn’t falter even the slightest and stayed true to your word. the way her heterochromic eyes widened, you could have sworn the teardrop shapes in them turned to hearts as a blush dusted her cute face. she was silent for only a second before repeating your words quietly, her voice shaking ever so slightly out of embarrassment. she had never said it to someone else like that, but furina doubted she’d ever mean it when she said it to anyone but you.
