Gods Of Olympus - Tumblr Posts
Hi! :)
I mentioned on my last post that I was working on a larger project. That project is that I’m hoping to make my own set of character designs for the main gods of Olympus, and hopefully some of the others. Of course, I started with one of my favorites, Apollo, and after sketching out his basic design, I got distracted by this text post, by @lets-get-greeky, and decided to make a quick animatic of it. I've sketched out some more for it, past where it cuts now, but its a mood at the moment (minus the creepy-stalker part), and I don’t really want to change that.
This sketchy version of Apollo isn’t too dissimilar to what I’m hoping he’ll look like in the end, and I already have a finished piece with an older, simpler design for him, so I can probably finish, or get close to finishing him up, within the next week or two.

Dionysus Cabin Headcannons
Cabin 12
rooms are in lofts. spiral stairs to the top, vines along the railings, chasing after the cabin members
beds of grape and strawberry vines. sweet smells kill them into a deep sleep, no matter the circumstances
a drink dispenser with a cabinet of any cup you would like. creates a concoction of different items to suit the campers
velvet, burgundy lounge chairs that are big enough for someone to work from. sharpen a sword, fix an arrowhead, talk, etc.
vines hanging from the ceiling. campers pluck a fruit from them whenever they feel like it. they crawl along the walls and shroud them in a vineyard of comfort
walls a deep purple, one deep enough to make the cabin dark, but leaving a few lights around.
glowing purple lights hang above the couches and chairs, illuminating the dark cabin.
a cool feeling throughout. the perfect temperature for wine.
shelves upon shelves of books on mental illnesses. most campers would love to be therapists or psychologists.
a hidden room that can only be opened by a dionysus camper. utilizing vine talents to pull the ladder down.
it leads to a large grotto of plants and fauna, mostly a vineyard in the back. a wine cellar always restocked with items.
wild cats running in and out, finding a secret passage fro themselves before chasing their prey through and returning later on.
a steady waterfall flows in the background.
one button and the scenery changes. from day it becomes night, and the vinesywards open, wine available to all.
party supplies stocked to the brim in a small closet, needed for any occasion.
campers shielded from the outside world in their own grotto of self love and reassurance.
