Good Omens Nina - Tumblr Posts
WARNING! SPOILERS FOR GOOD OMENS SEASON 2!
Something I think we need to talk about more is that moment between Aziraphale and Nina in the last episode where Aziraphale says
"I thought it might make you realize that Maggie loved you, and then you'd fall in love with her. It all looked so simple in Jane Austen."
And Nina, confused and kind of appalled, responds with
"Jane Austen?"
And Aziraphale says the same thing Crowley had told him when they talked about her
"Oh, yes, the brains behind the 1810 Clerkenwell diamond robbery."
And Nina just looks at him like 'What in the hell are you talking about?' And Aziraphale slowly realizes that 'Oh, I'm not the only one that didn't know about that. Crowley just knows everyone's deepest, darkest secrets apparently.' I just think that few seconds between him saying that, realizing, and then going right back to placing the candles on the floor without saying a word is hilarious and I need more people talking about it.

My favorite part of Good Omens, which is right next to Gabriel and Beelzebub singing together which is right next to The Kiss™, is when Crowley first sees Gabriel in Aziraphale's shop.
Most of it is because of his utter panic, the way he screams "AHHH! GABRIEL!", and the fact that his eyes look like they're about to pop out of his head. But I also love it because of what happens just before when Crowley and Aziraphale are in Nina's coffee shop.
Not only does Crowley immediately grow jealous at the 'naked man friend' bit, he also orders six(6) shots of espresso in a cup with absolutely nothing else. Then Aziraphale nervously asks if that calms him down and when Crowley says "Not really, no" Aziraphale IMMEDIATELY asks Nina what calms people down because he knows Crowley is not going to be calm after finding out who exactly is in his bookshop.
I just find the whole thing absolutely hilarious and would die to see it all again for the first time.
Headcanon: Muriel accidentally saw the last 10 minutes of episode 6 through the window))
Bonus:
I kinda think that Good Omens made me gayer. I don't know how or why, but I think it did.
And it's not, like, in an attraction sorta way, because I don't feel attracted to any character. It's really weird, I can't even explain it!
Nina called Maggie "angel" when lecturing Crowley about human Nature and Feelings... Angel. Period.
Just watched good omens and I have to point out.
When Nina asks Crowley how long him and azi have been together and Crowley denies him being a husband or boyfriend, she responds;
"Do you have a husband or boyfriend? Is he your bit on the side?"
Not "do you have a partner?"
It's "do you have a husband or boyfriend?"
she took one look at this man and not only assumed him and azi have to be involved romantically somehow, but also the idea that there is NO POSSIBLE WAY Crowley isn't gay.
