Hi people, I don't usually post my thoughts online, but I REALLY have to post this one because I haven't seen anyone talk about it (yet) and I wanted to know what y'all think.
So, I've been thinking about Good Omens (a lot) and realized that, in season 2, Gabriel knew about the second armageddon and the Metatron's plan, but he never told anyone about it. Aziraphale didn't know about it until he accepted the job as an archangel and the Metatron told him, and, since he had kinda argued with Crowley and was still angry, he wasn't gonna quit the job he got. BUT what if he had already been warned about the plan? What if Gabriel told Aziraphale and Crowley about it before he got away from Earth with Beelzebub? But most importantly: WHY THE FUCK DIDN'T HE WARN THEM?! THAT COULD HAVE PREVENTED THE WHOLE FIGHT/ARGUING SCENE. 😭😭😭
I need this to be canon. It would explain the ending of season two
actually the Almighty is a gamer girl and aziraphale and crowley are Her Sims that she keeps putting in situations
I kinda think that Good Omens made me gayer. I don't know how or why, but I think it did.
And it's not, like, in an attraction sorta way, because I don't feel attracted to any character. It's really weird, I can't even explain it!
GOOD OMENS SEASON TWO SPOILERS
Ok I’m gonna be deeply ranting and analyzing the kiss scene (mostly just the kiss itself) because OH MY GOSH THERES SO MUCH TOO IT
First of all here’s a gif of it:
And also I don't have a gif of it but when Crowley releases Aziraphale, what struck me was that he didn’t make them burst apart he gently and almost sadly just stepped back. And then watched. Now. One of the biggest things I’ve been thinking about in this (because I’ve been obsessively watching it over and over) is how Crowley is kissing him. It’s a long kiss. It’s not sensual. It’s not eating each others faces. It’s intimate and very romantic. Crowley missed Aziraphales lips by a hair and is slightly kissing his chin. Crowley holds him there as they sway back and forth slightly. I can’t see if his eyes are open or not. But the thing that strikes me about this is how much all of Crowley’s body language and everything just scream about how much he doesn’t want to move. He finally kissed his angel and he wants to stay pressed up against him, finally locked in the embrace he didn’t realize he needed for so long. He just stays there. He doesn’t kiss deeper. He just stays pressed against him, not wanting to deal with how Aziraphale will look at him afterwards.
then he has to break apart. He does it gently, but suddenly. Like he had to force himself but doesn’t want to . He wanted to stay, but he knows he can’t. So he steps back with his heart breaking more than he thought possible.
now onto Aziraphale.
Aziraphale is shocked. His eyes go from open to closed to open to closed. He leans back so slightly you almost can’t see it. He doesn’t seem to know how to feel.
And then his hands go around Crowley. It almost seems like it’s an unconscious motion, given how he looks after they break apart. It looks like for a split second, he lets himself melt into Crowley, as his hand wraps around his back and slides across it. But then he hesitates again abd takes his hands away. He thinks he can’t melt into Crowley. But there was the one moment where he broke.
after they break apart, Aziraphale looks shocked, upset, desperate, and to me, even a little disgusted. Probably because he doesn’t know how to deal with it. He licks his lips and moves his mouth around abd seems uncomfortable. But then after Crowley leaves he presses a hand to his mouth. He holds it for a second and starts crying. He realized he liked how it felt. He realizes everything he’s been missing. He loved the feeling of Crowley’s lips on his. Most importantly, he loves crowley.
on the topic of people hating on Aziraphale and saying the metatron did something to him, I disagree. This seems completely in character fir Aziraphale. He’s not an arsehole, he’s in conflict. He thinks he’s not allowed to love Crowley. I get him.

My two cents (or a farthing) in putting together a breakup divorce temporary separation playlist for the ineffable husbands. I think Crowley and Aziraphale will both vehemently deny getting teary-eyed at some of the lyrics, or in Crowley's case bawling along drunk 'Sshtay with me-e-ee'.
I have faith that these angelic entities, who have been through so much together, will find each other stumbling through some major fuck ups and will end up together again. Holding hands at least. The playlist starts out with some serious heartache and pain and morphs more into hope and faith at the end. With a nightingale.

I have decided that that is what is needed to fill my procrastination dive.
Something like:
They both do not want to be in the damp cellar with orange and pink flickering lights. Ugh. Their mutual friends have convinced them to come. Anathema has lured Crowley to be there. Crowley knew what she was doing but still could not resist a perfectly executed lure like that. So he slunk along. Newt simply asked Aziraphale, gently saying he would really like him to be there and slightly opening his eyes, knowing the angel would never say no. And carefully not answering when the angel asked if karaoke meant modern music.
Which is why they find themselves at 1am, slightly unsteady because of alcohol, on a stage meeting each others eyes for the first time.

Fandom appreciation
Fandom is literally so awesome.
I may be looking at this through rose-colored glasses -- but I feel the bad doesn't take away from the good.
In its purest form, fandom is hundreds of thousands coming together to love a piece of art in every way they can, with their own artistic creations! The way fandom has singlehandedly helped me make friends, discover new perspectives I would have otherwise not thought of, and understand/accept myself more deeply will forever be near and dear to me.
I love the way fandom loves, so artistically, and so uniquely. Despite our differences, we share this similarity of loving something so much we couldn't help but create in the process, it's something we've always done.
Good Omens 3
Y'know I love the theories, like all of them, but what I'm really excited about is all of them being wrong. Like when we're just watching, all sad about what happened, and then BOOM, the biggest fucking plot twist we never thought of.
Of course, I don't actually know what will happen, so hey, one of the theories could be right and we already have an idea of the plot twist.
But just going off of this season, I certainly did not think it would end the way it did, and now that I'm over the sobbing I can appreciate the surprise of it all. It was just brilliant.
I love the unexpected in writing when I don't see something coming AT ALL. It's such an awesome experience.
First Kiss or No?
Ive seen discusións and opinións on whether ep 6 was in fact Aziraphale and Crowley's first kiss.
Personally, I belive it was. But I love other interpretations and what not, So I tried imagining how would it not be their first kiss? In what world would they have kissed before? And of course I thought of fanfiction for reference.
If they have in fact kissed before here's a Scenario I like.
They've kissed before, not many times, but everytime they have kissed there was a reason behind it. Maybe to avoid human conflict, disguise from their bosses, or just accidentally while drunk on a Tuesday.
The common theme and rule is theres always an excuse for their kisses. So Aziraphales reaction (in This Scenario) to the kiss would be justified.
Theres no purpose for Crowley’s kiss, or rather no room for interpretation. He isnt drunk, they aren't trying to avoid human drama. They are in the safety of his bookshop away from prying eyes. His overwhelmed expression is Realizing the only other reason for that kiss and realizing he has no excuses to Deny it.
Considering everything on his Mind in that moment, realizing all in a few chaste seconds your friend whom you've been friends with Since before the beginning of everything ALSO loves you romantically is quité a bit to digest. Especially if you've tried so very hard to Deny Your Own feelings for THOUSANDS of years just to be thrown head first into a gesture that screams everything you've Ever wanted.
Crowley was desperate, the Way Aziraphale responded to his speech seemed like he didn't fully get Crowley was confessing to him, so Crowley kissed him. Because he knew there would be no reading in between lines -- they are safe, they aren’t drunk, theres no excuses. They've only ever kissed under the guise of necessity, So He knew the only Way aziraphale would understand with out directly saying "I love you" (miscommunication trope goes hard.)
was a completely unnecessary kiss.
In any Scenario they're so fucking dumb, like broski just SAY you Love him⁉️
