can I add though to make sure y'all get the right drivers
I got the H610 Pro for $60 on Amazon, the newest drivers didn't work because Huion released a new version with 8192 sensitivity levels and didn't make the distinction between the two in the drivers section until recently
I’ve been seeing this post go around recently and I want to let nyall know there is a MUCH cheaper, more efficient + durable alternate: huion!
I’m currently using a k58, which has the same pen pressure as a 250 dollar wacom tablet. [ 2048 levels of pen pressure ] it’s the same tablet I use and is great for starters! you can buy it here, and buying a model with buttons doesn’t cost much more [ around $80 ] and huion’s monitor tablets are MUCH less expensive as well. [ around $400 - $500 ]
you can drop this damn thing on cement 20 times and it will STILL work. hell, my tablet got all scratched up from a pin in my bag and part of it peels off but still works.
plus? the pen nibs actually last for MONTHS.
[ sorry for the long psa, I always get so frustrated seeing struggling artists think they have to drop hundreds on shitty tablets + nibs when a better alternative exists ]
