Superhero AU in the vein of Matt Fraction’s Hawkeye run, but make Shiro the burnt-out hero and Keith the younger protege that he’s kind of obsessed with (really, truly obsessed with).

One last thing about Hero Academia before I go. I had written an android!Deku alternate universe. It was pretty ok but then I kind of forgot about it.

One day, Katsuki finds an android in the dumpster and he keeps the android in his house. He disguises the robotoic Deku with his clothes and makes sure to keep the him under wraps.

After Katsuki gets into UA, Deku gets lonely. Deku studies on quirks and Katsuki’s classmates. Deku is able to analyze them, do medical scans on them, and is able to study like Katsuki. 

During the USJ event, Deku protects the students and performs medical attention to the injured. 

Once that happens, everyone is curious about the android and inquires about it. Katsuki is taken to Principal Nezu and Deku is allowed because it can be considered support gear/a companion. Yes, Deku goes by He/It.

During the Sports Festival, Katsuki makes Deku stays home.

During the Internship arc, Katsuki is able to bring Deku along. They encounter the Hero Killer and are able to protect Tenya.

I had been thinking about a concept surrounding A Whisker Away and I have been absorbing too much hero academia (plus spider-man).

I think it would be really cool if the protagonist worked for the Mask Seller and helped gather masks. It looked like he had extras so they would be the "masks" of the living and the dead. Usually the Mask Seller swaps masks for people, but he can take away their "masks" too (playing a bit of god).

In exchange for keeping her ability to switch between bodies, she becomes a sort of grim reaper for him. While the Mask Seller makes contracts with people to switch masks, the protagonist takes both masks at the end of the contract. The contract states that after an extended period of time, they die and their masks belong to the Mask Seller.

She also keeps a half mask and is able to be half-cat. It helps with being able to collect masks. The protagonist has the power to collect any masks she wants. Helps with disguise and getting rid of her enemies.

Her biggest weakness is her crush and the elderly. She loves helping them and protecting them at all costs. Her grandparents were the ones who took care of her during her parents divorce and they died afterwards in an accident.

She often visits her crush's grandpa and drops off food she doesn't want to eat from her new stepmom. She enjoys spending time with him and helping him.

Her crush knows about her, but thinks she is too weird. At school she has no friends left and is often bullied, but smiles (sometimes creepily). He doesn't know she helps take care of his grandpa.

She often encounters many criminals where she has to take masks. She fights them off and accidentally keeps crime rates down. Her neighborhood is not safe and many strays have been disappearing too.

There is a group who wants the power of the reaper and the Mask Seller. The group has been taking in people and cats to try to get masks for themselves.

You Were Never Meant To Be a Hero / DSMP [Hero AU] Fanfic [TnT Duo] / Thoughts

I know I said I wasn't going to talk about hero fics and shit but like.. I kinda like this one aghauhedsuihf

It. So. Wilbur, the eldest son of the Minecrafts, which is a hero family (Phil, Techno, Tommy), is a rescue hero called Magpie (unless somehow i remembered this wrong????). I think it was a thing in the Minecrafts to name themselves after their type of bird.

Wilbur has been overshadowed all his life by his brother who's better at fighting, who's more famous then him, but Wilbur tries his hardest, overworking himself and doing so many things to help people only to never be noticed.

Quackity, a former vigilante and current villain called Ace (again, unless I somehow got the names wrong), finds an interest in Wilbur-

[spoilers aAaaaa] and proceeds to claim him as a Nemesis, which villains can do to a hero in which said hero will get EVERYTHING that that villain has done for any clues as it basically means that Quackity is Wilbur's responsibility now.

it makes so much fucking sense, with things that I probably normally wouldn't think about and I just

It's written smartly, with a lot of thought and effort put into it and it shows, because you can really tell that it all kinda flows really nicely with each other. I might be wrong, but I feel like it just matches still regardless? I dunno, I've been reading this while it's been in WIP and it has just finished with its last chapter.

But still I really like it.

The hero system is always abusive as fuck, but I also don't hear that much of others speaking up about their own bad experiences, other villains, children, heroes in training, vigilantes, even just heroes speaking about their experiences.

And this fic? I think, although it doesn't explicitly state of the association's crumble, they are really breaking. Wilbur broadcasting everything and how the hero association is a fucking dick and did shit to CHILDREN, and just- I'll refrain from speaking too much about their wrongs as it's.. kinda triggering :')))

And then there are villain sympathizers who wear a shade of blue the same as Wilbur's wings as a sign

Of course, it isn't perfect. Wilbur having to leave for awhile after staying for a few days with Quackity because he has a big fucking target on him now as the number one villain. sobs

SBI Hero AU - Intern Tommy - Making Sense to Why They Immediately Tell Their IRL Name & Show Their Face.

hero au thing where the sbi actually dont tell the intern their name, usually keeping the mask on cause policy but at one point will just have the mask off, tommy will panic but they'll wave it off, saying that the association had gotten rid of every file about them, completely wiping them, so even if tommy did know their face and then it was used for malicious purposes, it would mean nothing. if they died, they were already erased from the system, so it was like they did not exist, not to mention that they were required to stay inside and live in the tower, on their floors otherwise if not patrolling or called anywhere so the risk of losing a hero would be less likely, but it wasn't like it mattered if a hero had died anyways, because they would not exist besides the news articles and videos and photos, but maybe the association has people take those posts down after, hiding evidence that that hero ever existed, and pretending like no heroes died.

Hero AU

Zach is 17 and goes by the hero name "Bladed Officer"

his powers are the same as canon (will the name clue anyone in? send in your guesses)

Zach is an independent branch of government protection force chiefly dealing with supernatural threats

it's called Miranda's protection service, after his mother

it's existed for a little longer than 2 years

Freddie is 14 and is infamous under the name "Manic Alchemist"

he's causing havoc in order to make a name for himself

he's overshadowed by his parent's achievements

he's been a villain for about 2 years

after attempting to submit patents and gain fame the "right way" he failed to gain enough traction

so he sourced out Bella, bought some tech, and sent a chemical explosion to a vacant government building

his deed was in every conversation, on the tip of everyone's tongue for weeks

and he loved the attention

so he's been doing it ever since

Bella is 20 and goes by the name "Scarlet Maiden" when doing hero business

and "the Crimson Programmer" when doing more shady business

she has the most experience - 6 years of villain/illegal tech distribution

which means she is the most well known

seriously, she's a household name - her nanites are infamous and used as a bogeyman

"Got to sleep now, or crimson nanites will take your new toy"

she provides tech support for Zach

she's been working with him since the beginning

half the tech is her own invention

and the other half she has tinkered with, improving it in many ways

she wants to get out onto the field, since she has the capacity and the desire to help people

seriously, she has funky tech she's been itching to use

she also continues to help Freddie with tech

almost 3/4 of his stuff is her tech

she intends to cash that in at some point, especially if he starts shortchanging her

all her tech has a manual override button that only she can access remotely, in case anything is used too brutally

unfortunately, her moral greyness in this au is hyped up, so she will take any deal, and can be paid off to some extent to interfere less if she's given a small fortune or access to something obscure

He's getting a another tattoo to go with the tongue ring.

He already got one on his lower back when he moved away but he gets a new one of a gray cloud with a yellow lightning bolt on his shoulder to go with the piercing. It was blitzwing's idea.
