I have a headache and I'm tired but I need to do homework and I need to draw the next update for my webcomic and I need to get off tumblr and I need to get ready to go home so I don't keep my mom waiting tommorow and I need to get dressed cause I have a club meeting at 7 and I need to eat but all I have is cereal and I should go to cafeteria but instead I'm gonna eat like 4 bags of pretzels and hope I live to see tommorow
I hate needing things. I wish I didn't want so much, then I'd need less.
I should've brought my laptop to work so I could work on things.
Instead I'm crocheting.
I wish I was one of those ambitious motivated people who know what they want and would do anything to get it.
Instead I'm more a dropped quarter. I'm moving but I have no real direction and I'm just waiting to hit the ground.

that spotify playlist and pinterest board wont help you. stop procrastinating.
XD I have issues. I have ten days to finish a fic, thirteen days to finish another, nineteen for another, and twenty for the last. Have I started any of them...? No. Deadlines... I sure do love to avoid them.
Luckily, tonight, I’m so motivated to write. Maybe I can post a public one tonight? (Unlikely, but I will make myself feel guilty by putting it out there.)

It's just bugging me that most fan ships are gay again. Don't get me wrong, most of what I'm reading are gay ships, it's just that most of my ideas lately are straight and it's made me self conscious.
This all started with MDZS, unsurprisingly. I'll admit the only thing I've finished is the cartoon so my canon knowledge is skewed but still. I fell out of Wangxian a long time ago, but the other characters and world building have left vague ideas in the back of my mind. I stumbled across a decent Jiang Cheng fic and they're crawling forward. I tend to Fav Chara/OFC, as my ff.net page shows, so I went looking to see if anyone else has. I couldn’t find any, hell the AO3 filters didn’t give OC options in any pairing.
I shouldn't be letting it get to me. It's tertiary characters, Nie Mingue/OFC. I've done this before, any entire fic for Lanchia from Hitman Reborn, for fuck's sake!

I swear I’m working on art I’m just taking forever
And then there’s me:
My brain: Look you have lots of homework to do. Your grades depend on this.
Me: No. It’s too much. I can’t do it.
My brain: You won’t get passing scores if you just keep them on hold like this.
Me: Too much. Can’t handle. I’ll fail anyway.
My brain: "You need to do your homework. Like, right now."
Me: "But like. No."
Tips to stop procrastinating!!
So put all your tasks on one of these little spinners, right?
Add a little section called "Five more minutes" to take a break (you can just skip it if you get into the zone, but don't take it off. It gives the illusion of free will)
And then spin it everytime you wanna do a task
This for some reason helps me a lot??? Like, I sucked at doing things but now I have a little wheel who tells me what to do

I laze around and view posts and sometimes not go online for days on end just to find my inboxes blowing up on every media there is and I feel guilty for days XD

3. what’s a wip that you’ve procrastinated on the longest? why?
I would say Destination Seoul. Usually I'm very on and off with my writing, but when I have time to write, the words easily flow out. Except with this WIP, I've been getting serious imposter syndrome, and I can't write without comparing myself constantly to other writers and without stressing myself out. It's a terrible habit and situation that I'm going through that blocks me from liking my writing, and it's why I've been posting little snippets in hope to excite myself again.
7. do you outline before writing? if so, what’s your outlining process like?
NOOOOO PANTSER all the way. I usually have bullet points of what I want to achieve/the tropes or themes, but even if I write an outline, I write something completely different. Hopefully my next WIP will have a good, fully detailed outline, though! (Except I always say this, whoops).
