“let’s go for B… 1.” you mutter to yourself, punching the code into the keypad before sliding a couple of quarters into the slot of the vending machine
you listen carefully for the telltale sound of the coins clinking at the bottom of the metal box before grinning widely, “come to me, my sweet m&ms!”
the vending machine suddenly whirs to life and you can’t help but watch in anticipation, the metal wires coiling downwards as the brightly coloured package of mini m&ms starts to move forward slowly
of course, because nothing ever goes your way: you resist the urge to drop to your knees and let out a cry of anguish when it ends up getting trapped in between the wires only a second later

OVER SUNSETS AND SAMGYEOPSAL
Pairing: Jimin x Reader Genre: fluff, enlistment comfort, a bit of angst (if you squint) Wordcount: 550+
Summary: Sometimes you just have to hold on and not be scared of the waiting game. This is what Jimin wants to prove as he leaves you with the promise of a lifetime.
AN: This is my first attempt at writing a drabble/fic. I am not a professional writer. I’m sorry for any errors. I just love Park Jimin so much. :) The photos are not mine. CTTO.
The clear Busan sky is painted with muted hues of gold and amber as daylight fades. The sun has just set, leaving infinite calm and beauty that takes your breath away. As the gentle waves kiss the shores and the soft cool ocean breeze overcomes your warmth, you sit alone in the sand with thoughts of him filling your heart and mind.
You’ll never get enough of these sunsets. No matter where fate leads you, the serene beauty of it all always leaves you breathless.
Just a few weeks ago you sat in this exact same spot with him. Both cuddled by the warm sands of Haeundae, you basked in the beautiful scene of bustling Busan City.
Now here you are again, but this time he’s nowhere. As the warm slowly turns into cold, you let the memories of that day flood you. “You know It’ll only be a few years. I’ll be back here before you know it.” He mumbles as he takes your hand and peppers your knuckles with sweet gentle kisses.
“I know that. But it still doesn’t change anything. You’re still leaving.” Your voice so faint, it’s barely a whisper.
“You know I have to, right?” His brown eyes taking hold of you, not wanting to let go.
You break your gaze and stare at the sun that’s about to set, the light crimson skies blanketing the city in its radiance.
You hear his words and you understand why he has to go. He’s enlisting in a few days and this is something both of you can’t change. All there is to do is to accept and wait. Waiting.
How such a simple word could ruin people and relationships is beyond you. You’ve seen it happen to others; you saw their struggle. But you never really expected for it to happen to you. Not this soon.
As you wallow in loneliness that looms your future, you don’t notice him make a move beside you. As you drag your eyes back to his, you’re stunned with what you see.
This guy you love with all your heart is on his knees with a ring in hand; his sweet brown eyes melting your already soft heart.
“Marry me.” His voice sweet and longing.
Tears prickle your eyes as you try to get a hold of yourself. You’re already screaming on the inside as happiness and exhilaration wash over you.
You finally found your voice seconds later as you cupped his face in your hands; your heart beating louder than ever.
“As long as you promise to buy me Samgyeopsal from here on out.”
He crashed his lips into yours at once with a different kind of warmth that radiated from his heart. His love overflowing for the girl before his eyes and you just let him.
“I love you y/n.”
“I love you too Chim.”
The cold Busan breeze brings you back to the present.
You fiddle with the ring on your finger, still unbelieving that you are Jimin’s fiancée now. The image of him swims in your thoughts as you etch this sunset, the lifetime promise of samgyeopsal and his love for you, deep in the confines of your heart.
Your waiting starts now.
And this beautiful sunset is proof of his promise of forever.
POV: that one time you sat Jimin down to finally have “the talk” and confess your feelings, but you got nervous and started rambling. 🥲😖😩😫 (oh, he knows..😅)
It has been almost half an hour now since Jimin agreed to sit with you in this room where you, Taehyung and Jungkook have managed to lure him in, and apparently lock you both up until you can (in the words of tae) “figure your shit together.”
Jimin has had this whole cool facade going on as he sits on a chair opposite of you. But it’s slowly crumbling. He’s not going to lie.. he’s seconds from losing his shit.
Well, for starters, being locked up in a tiny room with you is something he only thought could happen in one of his wet dreams.
Jimin has had the biggest crush on you ever since that fan meeting. But you were clearly oblivious for reasons like Min. Freaking. Yoongi. So there’s that.
Jimin remembers it clearly. The day he first met you.. in that darn fan meeting.
You know, The one where Jungkook called dibs on you only to get shut down by him faster than Jin could ever finish his favorite tuna sandwich.
Jimin feels like it was only yesterday.. That damn fan meeting..
The one where you were caught simping on Yoongi the whole time.. and had never even spared him (nor Jungkook) a glance until it was his turn to sign your album.
He could only wish you could have been as excited as he had been to meet you.. but you only had eyes for yoongi.. he still remembers how you just literally kept staring at his hyung for the whole 5 minutes that Jimin had spent with you despite all his efforts to make your first interaction as memorable as he wanted to be. And that made him sad.
Now here you are. Almost a year later.
With eyes only for him.
Jimin still can’t wrap his head around this whole scenario. You’re sitting on the side of the bed, red as a beet and rambling like crazy because you’re clearly nervous.
Were you really nervous because of him? Does he make your heart race? He wishes it were the case, Because you sure make his go crazy.
You’re looking at him like how you once did with Yoongi. He’s not sure when it started happening but he won’t complain.
This is you we’re talking about. The girl of his dreams. The one he would literally give anything to have. If only you weren’t so into Yoongi.. if only he could have his way…
For a minute he lets himself get lost staring at that cute little mole you have under those sweet looking plump lips.. he wonders what they taste like- they must be sweet as honey, he thinks.
You flail your hands for the umpteenth time and your sweet rambling voice brings him back to the moment..
“Jimin.. what i’m tryin to say is.. you know.. uhh.. i just… i think.. you know,it just happened.. and i’m like, what is wrong with me?? So I asked the guys.. and.. you know..Because i was clearly not thinking straight before.. but now i am! Yeah.. i know what i feel.. now I am.. you know.. i’m sure.. don’t get me wrong.. okay??“
Wait a minute.. Is this what he thinks this is?? Are you trying to confess right now?? No way! Are you really??
Oh. My. God.
He’s about to lose his mind.
Jimin is losing his mind! He is.
He was Just about to do something about his feelings for you. He even talked to Namjoon about it the week before over drinks.
But here you are beating him to it. He meant to do it first. But this isn’t a race he tells himself.
He can’t help but let out a smile. God! why are you so cute!? You’re going to be the death of him. He knows it. He mentally slaps himself to focus on more pressing matters.
He doesn’t want to ruin this moment for you.. and for him, too. He decides he’s going to hear you out and not get ahead of himself.
But god damn! You’re being dangerously cute, he doesn’t know if he can hold it in for longer. He’s literally seconds from grabbing your cute little face and pepper it with kisses.
“Alright, okay! Yes.. so What i’m trying to say is… uh, you know.. we’ve been friends for almost a year now and i can’t believe this has happened. but Tae said that things like these are normal among friend groups.. and Jungkook said I shouldn’t let this pass.. because.. because.. uhh.. uhm.. darn it! I forgot what Jungkook said!!!” You ball your hands into fists and look at Jimin with a new found determination.
Jimin moves his hand to touch his nose in an attempt to hide the smirk that escaped him. And you still go on rambling like your life depends on it.
“Ugh!! Anyway.. uhm.. Tae said it’s cool.. and you know, like really really cool… like you know.. normal.. typical.. common.. normal— wait i already said that! No, wait.. what i mean is—”
Jimin knows.
Jimin definitely knows now.
He hopes you could find a way to just let it all out.
Because he can’t wait to accept it and just kiss you already.
“-what i really want to say is.. Jimin, i.. uh… i… “
This is it. Jimin’s eyes go wide in anticipation. He wants you to say it. He wants to hear it from your sweet lips.. that its him you like.. not yoongi.. not anybody else. Just him. And only him.
“Jimin.. i.. i think i..uhm.. ithink-i-likeyou—!!” it came out rushed but the cat is finally out of the bag.
Wide-eyed and seemingly out of oxygen, Jimin struggled to stay alive. Why does it feel like he suddenly forgot how to breathe?
He looks into you. You’re so pretty as ever, maybe even more beautiful in this light with Your blushed faced and Your eyes that went wide the moment you blurted that you like him.
He zeroes in on your pink lips and no words had to be said. He kisses you like he was hungry for your taste.
He takes your lips and devours it like only you can save him.
You kiss him back and he still can’t believe it.
You like him. The girl of his dream likes him back. This can’t be real.
You pull away for air and it brings Jimin back to his senses.
“I’ve liked you since the day i saw you.” He manages to let out in a breathless haze.
“What?..”
“I like you. I’ve liked you since the fanmeet.” he presses in for another kiss.
“What..?! You do?!”
“Yeah. You don’t believe me? Ask Jungkook.” Another kiss.
“What?.. wait.. he knows?!”
“I literally had to fight him off to get noticed by you. And i’ve never stopped since. But you only had eyes for Yoongi hyung.”
“I— I didn’t know. Jimin..”
“It’s okay.. we’re here now.. it’s all that matters.”
He takes your lips and kisses you again.. and again.. and again..
until Jungkook’s voice rumble from outside the door.
“Yahh!! It’s about time! You better believe it noona! I called dibs on you but Jiminie hyung wouldn’t budge!”
“Yah! Shut up Jungkook! You’re ruining the moment!…Hey Y/n!!! I’m talking to you.. you better treat my soulmate well or else i’ll shave your head! You hear me? I mean it!!” Taehyung threatens you and you know he means it.
You smile at Jimin’s kiss and he’s still so out of it, he thought he heard Taehyung’s voice but your lips are more important right now.
HE’S LEAVING ME
Pairing: Jimin x Reader
Genre: Breakup Angst
Word Count: 650+
Summary: Your world ends at the hands of the man you love. The man who brought you back to life, only to kill every bit of you in the end.
AN: Jimin just enlisted today and I don’t know how to cope. This is me breaking. I listened to Eric Nam’s “Lose You” as I wrote this. I am not a professional writer. I’m sorry for any errors. The Photos are not mine. CTTO.
It took me a day to acknowledge that I am not okay. That my world is slowly crumbling down before my very eyes and that there’s nothing I can do to reverse it. To stop it. To fix it. Time has totally run out on me. It took one sleepless night before I finally snapped out of the numbing trance, which now tastes like fresh panic at the tip of my tongue.
Jimin is leaving me.
He is ending the only good thing I have ever had in this life.
He is ending us, and practically ending me— killing every living, hoping, and loving part of me.
Five years worth of memories flash before my eyes. I feel like there’s no amount of tears that could wash away this excruciating pain he has left me. My breath leaves me over and over again as I tear through every flashback, every fleeting moment, and every echo of him.
I can’t breathe. It’s too late to undo this hurt. I am not even sure I understand how we ended up here— hating each other, breaking each other, hurting each other.
“Did you even love me?”
My voice breaks as I chase after him. He stops just right before the bedroom door. But he doesn’t turn around to face me.
“Did you even love me!!??”
I scream until my lungs give out and my frantic voice shatters the stillness in the room.
“Answer me you f—cking asshole!!!”
My own outburst shocks me and I regret it as soon as I had said it. But it’s too late for that now. My hands are cold and shaking, tears flowing like rapids and it tunnels my vision.
My breaths are labored as I wait for him to say something.
Anything.
He turns around and looks straight at me. And I don’t recognize the man in front of me anymore. There’s a look on his face that I can’t place.
Is it regret, hurt, resentment? I don’t know anymore. He’s not the same guy I fell in love with five years ago. And as soon as it hit me, I break even more.
I break the eye contact and fall to my knees. It’s too painful to even look at him now. So I stare at the hardwood floor.
Something in me bursts with the realization that this is it. The end of everything I’ve worked hard to build. The love I sincerely believed to be the one to save me.
I break, and the sound I make as I cry my soul out scares me. It wrecks me.
“Stand up. Stop it. Don’t do this.”
His voice is void of emotion. He sounds nothing like the man who had held my heart in his hands from day one. Trusting him with every piece of it, but only to crush it five years later.
My mind is chaos. I struggle to understand when exactly did I start losing him. It might have been months or years prior. I feel like I have been blindsided. I’ve been hit hard without knowing what hit me. We’re both in the same room. And I have been staring at perfection up until this point. But he’s now about to wreck it.
He starts to say more but I’m already starting to crawl into myself. I feel myself let the pain rush into every space in me that’s left until everything turns numb, and the image of Jimin is nothing but a speck in the hollow of my mind.
I let him kill everything that is me.
I let go. I give up. I stop fighting for the man I still love. The man I lost somewhere down the line.
There was nothing left to fight for, so I let him leave.
And as I hear the door close after him, I feel every part of me really start to die.
OUT OF THE FRIEND ZONE (Part One)
Pairing: Jimin x Reader
Genre: College Au, Friends to Lovers
Word Count: 1500+
Summary: It’s your sophomore year in college. You and Jimin have been friends for a while and it’s all good, until jimin realizes he wants out of the friend zone.
AN: I’m still coping with Jimin’s enlistment and writing about him somehow gives me warmth. This is my first attempt at writing a series and I just had this idea and went along with it. I don’t know how often I’m going to be able to update but I’ll try my best. I’m not a professional, so I’m sorry for any errors. I listened to “Serendipity” by Jimin while writing this.
Jimin has been sending daggers at you as he sits by himself on a bench a few yards away from where you and a bunch of other students in your class have been hanging out. He eyes you like a hawk as you laugh at whatever the tall guy has said, You've been so absorbed at him as he rambles in what seems like forever.
His name is Namjoon. He’s a senior. He seems like the typical jock with his buffed physique and sleek stylish brown hair. He looked the part so well as he gestures with his hands, unconsciously flexing his toned arms. The white t-shirt he has on doesn't make him look anything less than ordinary but only highlights his frame even more, making him stand out.
He looked cool and way taller than Jimin. And he hated that, it brought out insecurities he never knew he had. He doesn't know him well but from the looks of it, you do. With how you look so invested in your conversations with him, he's starting to think you might be into him or something.
You and Jimin have known each other since freshman year. You’re now well into the 10th week of sophomore year and your friendship is still going strong. Yet he doesn't understand why he now suddenly feels off. You're not his girlfriend or anything but why does it feel like he wants to throw a punch and pick a fight with this Namjoon guy, or any other guy, really.
The other week in the coffee house, he also had the same nagging feeling when the barista tried to flirt with you and gave you a fix of your usual order on the house. Jimin felt horrible as he interfered and whisked you away before the guy could even ask for your number.
A few weeks ago in the library, he was so hyper aware of the bunch of freshmen guys following you with their gaze as you move from one section to another. He felt uncomfortable knowing other guys ogle you from a far. More so that you don't even realize the sets of eyes that hover on you.
Jimin hasn't quite thought about it, but this cocktail of emotions you've been putting him through is taking a toll on him. When you're hanging out together, he feels like he’s on cloud nine but dreads the short amount of time you can be together. When you're not around, you're all he could think of. Sending you messages or chatting and calling you on the phone just couldn't cut it. He needs to see you, hear you, touch you. He marvels at how you've gotten him wrapped around your fingers. He wonders if you feel the same way, too.
“If looks could kill, they’d be burying Namjoon by now.”
A deep voice interrupts his overthinking. Jimin whips his head on his right to see his best friend looking straight at you and Namjoon, while sipping his coffee.
“Shut up, Taehyung.” Jimin leans back on the bench seemingly defeated and quite unlike his normal self.
“What? I’m just saying… You know, if you could just go up to y/n and tell her how you feel, you won’t have to sit here in the cold, trying to murder a guy by staring at him for thirty five minutes.” Taehyung quips in a matter-of-fact tone.
Jimin let’s out a huge sigh, as he watches while Namjoon offers you a candy bar from his backpack.
“I’m not sure she sees me like that. She may have already put me in the friend zone. I don’t know.”
“Well, you really won’t know unless you try and do something about it. And who cares if you are in the friend zone? it’s never too late to get out of it, Just so you know.”
Jimin considers this for a moment, and it really got him to thinking, Why hasn’t he really made a move yet? What’s really keeping him from pursuing you? You’re both single and it’s evident that you get along well. You two have this incredible connection. He feels it. He knows all your endearing quirks and pet peeves. He knows what makes you tick, just as he knows what picks you up and what makes you happy. And he’s inclined to believe that you know all these things about him, too. So what’s really holding him back?
He bursts his own bubble when reality hits him. There’s only the risk of losing the friendship you’ve built together, and his biggest nightmare—losing you. He doesn’t think he’s brave enough to do something now in haste and risk everything on the line, only to lose you in the end. It’s not worth it, he thinks.
But Taehyung has a point. He’ll never know unless he tries. What if he misses his chance with hesitating too much, and never gets another? What would he do then? He’d still lose you eitherway. It would be worse to lose you to another guy. He can’t imagine himself living in countless “what if’s”. He reasons with himself. He’s not going to be that guy who would just stand idly by. He has to try.
Being in the friend zone sucks now that he’s crazy about you. But if he really wants you to see him as more than just a guy friend, he has to give you a reason to. He has to let you know. And this feeling he’s been bottling up since day one isn’t going anywhere. He knows it’s only going to grow stronger the more he lets it hole up inside. Maybe it’s about time he did something about it.
“Okay, you’re right. I’m confessing. I’m confessing tonight.” Jimin looks Taehyung straight in the eyes with a new found sense of purpose.
“It’s about damn time, my friend!” Taehyung looks proud.
Later that day, your group met up at Jimin and Taehyung’s apartment for movie night. The whole gang is in attendance. Hobi and Jin arrived with a bunch of chips and popcorn. You and Jungkook took care of the drinks, while Yoongi brought his girlfriend, Yuri. And you’re just glad there’s another female you can bond within the group.
The guys are good company, but if you’re being honest, sometimes you just need a breather from the numerous testosterone-fueled banters that happen when you’re with them. This is also part of the reason why you’ve been pushing the guys to date already so you could have more girls on your side.
“Seriously guys, when are you going to bring more girls here for movie night? Yuri and I need some reinforcements, you know.”
“Facts.” Yuri seconds.
All eyes turn to you, as you mumble through a handful of popcorn on your favorite spot on Jimin’s couch.
Taehyung, who was sitting beside you, grabs the bowl from your lap making you whine.
“First of all, maybe we can consider bringing more girls or guys to movie night when you learn to share the popcorn, y/n. And second of all, this apartment can barely hold this bunch and you want to add more people in here?”
You give Taehyung your deadliest side eye but let him have the bowl.
“I’m just saying, it’s about time you guys… you know, get out there… find someone. I really want to do a slumber party with your future girlfriends.”
“Find someone, huh. Speak for yourself. Miss forever single.” Jungkook scoffs at you.
“Yeah y/n, if you’re so big on pushing us to date, why aren’t you dating, too?” Hobi chimes in.
“Yeah, y/n, why aren’t you?” Taehyung shoots Jimin a taunting grin.
He was standing behind the counter preparing more chips yet actively listening to the conversation.
“Well, I’ve… kind of.. already been working on that.” Your voice came out unsure.
Jimin drops the chips and quickly looks at you in surprise.
“WHAT?!” Taehyung almost gave himself whiplash from how quickly he turned his head towards you.
“What do you mean ‘what’? I met someone. He’s a senior, and he plays for the lacrosse team.”
“No, No, No. This can’t be good. Jimin! Jimin!” Taehyung is frantic.
“What is up with you, Tae? I know you have this eccentric vibe going on, but this is starting to creep me out!” You cry out, feeling a little bit affronted.
“You can’t be meeting someone already! Not yet! Jimin!! Get your ass out here!”
Taehyung calls on his best friend again. But Jimin’s feet are planted cold on the kitchen floor. The shock quickly turns to panic and he forgets to breathe.
This is it, he thinks. He’s been too complacent. He feels stupid and he hates himself for not trying. He waited too long and now he’s about to lose his chance. He’s about to lose you.
This is it, he tells himself. He’s losing you. To that cool, tall, handsome, jock. He’s losing you to Kim Namjoon. Insecurity floods him and he doesn’t know how not to drown in it.
He questions himself. Why now? When he’s already made up his mind in confessing tonight. Why does it have to be now? When he’s worked so hard to confront his demons and fight off all the insecurities that’s been trying to put him down and holding him back.
All he’s been wanting is you.
All he’s been needing is one chance. One chance for you to see him as a man. One chance to let him out of the friend zone. But is it too late for that now?
Read Part Two!
Pairing: Jimin x Reader
Word Count: 700ish
Summary: Seeing your ex-boyfriend again after ten months since the breakup. He looks better than he has ever been. You try to show him you’re okay, but little does he know, you’re not.
Featured Song: “How Are You?” By Dylan Brady and Rosie
AN: Hello everyone! I’ve started a new writing series featuring songs that I personally love. I like sad, angsty songs. So I’m giving you a heads up on the songs I’ll be featuring. They will most probably be the type that’ll rip your hearts out and make you remember every sad breakup you’ve ever had. I listened to “How Are You?” By Dylan Brady and Rosie while writing this one. This wasn’t heavily edited, So I’m sorry for any errors. I personally made the banner for this fic. I don’t own any of the pictures.
Time seems to stop the moment you found his eyes. You were walking in while Jimin was walking out. The little cafe you used to frequent with him suddenly was filled with a nostalgic air that hurts you but awakens something in you at the same time. The memories cripple you and you stay planted where you stand. But your eyes have never left his.
Jimin is your ex-boyfriend. It still feels so wrong to call him that. It’s like your whole being hasn’t been acclimated to the fact that you’re nothing but mere strangers now. The denial is still there—alive and kicking, like the breakup only happened yesterday.
In reality, You’ve probably meant nothing to him since that cold December day. It has been ten months. He doesn’t know it, but he still means the world to you until now.
“How are you?” His deep honeyed voice still sends a shiver through your skin, leaving goosebumps in its trails like it’s the first time.
You bit your tongue and just smile.
“I’m good.” You lie.
You could lie to him and to everyone else, but you couldn’t lie to yourself.
You were not good. You were far from being good. You were not okay. There’s this big hole in your heart. The same heart that hasn’t been beating since Jimin ended things.
You were barely living. But here you are. You’ve managed to act like you still have a life, when all you really were was a shell—hollow on the inside, devoid of anything that resembles life.
Perhaps Jimin doesn’t realize that he had taken everything with him the moment he left. Everything. Including your heart and all the love and hope that had breathed life into it.
It’s been months and months of barely struggling to survive. Months and months of drowning in your own pool of tears night after night. It feels like forever now but you still find yourself replaying the night you lost him, wondering how you could have prevented it, how you could have done more, how you could have made him change his mind.
Every night you look at the ceiling in your cold bedroom, thinking about Jimin and how he said he didn’t know how to love you anymore.
Every night you cry and wish you can change it all. Every night you whisper a silent prayer for him to come back.
Deep inside, you wish he’d known how bad it hurt to lie. To say you’re okay when you’re not. Like what you’ve been doing since he left. Every time someone you knew would ask you how you were doing, you’d say your fine. But it rips you to pieces each time.
The pain is so bad that you want so desperately to say you’re not okay. That it’s hard to breathe. That it’s hard to live. That your world has been upside down ever since he hasn’t been in it.
But here he was. He looks better than he has ever been.
He dyed his hair that honey blonde you’ve always liked. His cheeks are full and rosy. He has that sheen of happiness radiating through him. Just like the Jimin you remember. The Jimin who was yours.
It’s nowhere near the Jimin who broke your heart. The one who begged for you to let him go, to forget him, to stop loving him, like it was so easy.
This Jimin is full of life. This Jimin looks so happy now. This is the Jimin you fell in love with.
How is he not dying even just a little bit?
How is he already over things?
How is he already over you?
“It’s… been a while.” You add, looking into his eyes. Those angel eyes that had you weak in the knees then, as you are now.
“How are you?” Your voice faint, almost a whisper. But Jimin caught it.
You manage to ask back like the hole in your chest isn’t burning just looking at his perfect face.
He gifts you a smile. Soft and knowing.
And just like that, you break all over again.
Hogwarts Express p.2 | BTS Hogwarts AU
Jimin sat down at an empty compartment. He should probably find friends, but as a child who didn’t have magical parents, there’s really nothing he could go on as far as what the social conventions in the wizarding world were. He would probably want to work that out first; maybe when he gets to the school.
He watched in childlike amazement as he watched the scenery pass by. He’s never been on a train before.
He decides that he should probably explore the train, he opened up his door and that’s when there was a whoosh!
A child practically flew in. If Jimin wasn’t quick enough to move aside, he would have been accidentally pushed against the door hinges. The child slid the door shut as hard as he could, and was giggling with a surprisingly deep voice as he threw himself down onto the floor and hid underneath the seat.
He grabbed the first thing he saw to cover him, which were Jimin’s legs. He had Jimin stand in front of the seat so no one would notice the little child in black on the floor.
Jimin didn’t ask and absentmindedly watched the door as kids scurried past, glancing through every door they passed by. The boy’s actions were all too familiar, the same actions as Jimin executed whenever he pulled harmless pranks
After a while, Jimin moved away and sat on the seat across from the child. The child finally got out from his hiding spot and sat up on the seat.
The boy had such a round head and the hair to match. He had a rectangular smile and couldn’t stop laughing, trying to get rid of the rush he had.
“What happened?” Jimin finally asked.
“I transfigured someone’s suitcase full of clothes into tadpoles, and then I accelerated their growth.” Taehyung doubled over in laughter and Jimin broke out into laughter too.
“Aren’t you the same age as me? That should mean that this is your first year! How did you learn how to do that?” Jimin asked as he tried to calm down.
“I’m a half blood. My mother was a Ravenclaw. I learned the spell from her books.” What the heck is a Ravenclaw?
“I take it then, you’re muggleborn.” Taehyung stated his question.
“What’s that?” Jimin asked. Taehyung smiled and nodded, having his guess confirmed.
“No magical parents. You were born from muggles, non-magic folk.” Taehyung explained. Jimin scratched the back of his head, “Yes, I guess I am muggleborn then.”
“That’s cool. I don’t mind.” Taehyung shrugged.
“Do people normally mind that?” Jimin asked nervously.
“Some, not most. Most of that prejudice is in the past. Don’t worry about it. Do your thing and people will like you.” Taehyung gave comforting advice to Jimin.
“I bet you’ll be sorted into Hufflepuff.” Taehyung guessed out loud.
“What’s Hufflepuff? And what was the Ravenclaw you were talking about earlier?” Taehyung sighed with proud authority as he got up and sat down next to Jimin, throwing a lazy arm around his shoulder.
“I’ve got lots to teach you, my friend. By the way, I’m Taehyung.” He brought up his hand and gave a handshake.
“Jimin.”

A/N: Will also be having a sorting hat scenario and seven years in hogwarts
I'm not quite sure who in Bangtan would be this type of boyfriend... but I imagine ____ to hide your shirts just so that you can borrow his clothes because he likes how you look in his clothes, it's also a huge plus that your scent would rub off on his clothes
“Jimin!” You shout as you rummage through your clothes you have stashed at Jimin’s place.
“Yeah?” Jimin walks into his room to see you pressed against his drawer, flinging out your clothes left and right. Some land on the floor, some on his bed, some are hanging by a thread on the corner of the drawer.
“As much as I love seeing your clothes strewn all over my room, like I really do, but can you please put them back when you’re done? I’m not cleaning this up.” He laughs and walks closer to you to pick up one of your clothes in his way. He hangs it on your head and then wraps his arms around your waist from behind you.
“Yeah, I’m planning to do that. But I’m trying to find my shirt. You know, the one with the lace roses? Have you seen it? It’s not at home.” You say, your unwanted leggings still on top of your head.
“What’s wrong with what you have on now?” He smirks and looks down to see you only in your bra. You click your tongue and smack his hands away from your waist, but he only laughs.
“I’m going out, you buffoon. You don’t really want me to go out like this do you?”
“No, I don’t. Is it in the laundry?” He takes a step back and sits on the bad, watching you slump your shoulders as a sign you’ve given up, now that your drawer is empty, “I haven’t worn it in a long time, it wouldn’t be there.” You remove the leggings from your head and sit next to him on the bed, looking around the room to see if any of the clothes you threw is the one you’re looking for.
“Here.” He gets up and throws his shirt at you, “Just wear this.”
“I really need to bring more clothes over here. I seem to always forget shirts.” You sigh as you put on his shirt.
Please don’t bring any more shirts, Jimin thinks as he smiles at the pretty sight, I’m having a hard time to hide them enough as it is.

The Best and Worst of 2016 Park Jimin
Imagine pocket-sized you snickering at 6 out of 7 of the boys’ astonished faces as you lay the precious photos in front of them. Over the course of your stay, you manage to sneak around snapping photos of all the boys when they’re displaying their best even in the comforts of their own home, and of course you got some of their worst moments. Since it is Jimin’s birthday, no doubt you get your share of the fun of displaying the lovely Jimin at his best and worst moments.
You stand in the middle of the table with all the photos and the boys surround you.
The boys inquire how the hell you ever managed to find so many perfect moments. You just raise your finger to your lips and tell them it’s a secret.
Yoongi wonders out loud about how many photos you actually have of all of them. You just grin and tell them that they will figure it out when their birthday comes around. Together, the 7 of you continue to discuss which ones were the best to showcase on Twitter for Jimin’s birthday.
Since you are all so focused on the different photos, you guys don’t even notice the extra presence around you guys.
A short, chubby finger comes in to the middle of the table and points to one of your best looking photos of Jimin.
“I think you guys should post this one.” You all look up to Jimin to see his cute little grin. Yoongi swipes the photo away and tucks it into his pocket, “That’s exactly the one we will not be posting.”
Jimin continues to protest at the rest of the boys for taking away the good pictures and shoving it in their pockets, and so do you. You run to the edges of the table and make grabby hands at them, telling them that they can’t keep the photos.
All You Have to Do Is Ask
TRIGGER WARNING: If you have arachnophobia, read at your own risk.
Imagine pocket-sized you coaching Jimin through whispers in his ears as you sit in the dip of his left collarbone. You’ve started a little hobby of yours while the boys are away by exercising your green thumb. You are so excited to finally see flowers growing, you scream for the attention of the only two boys currently in the dorm. You invite two of the maknae line to visit your little garden patch you’ve created in the corner of their dorm that gets the most sunlight.
Your garden looks beautiful and there’s a beautiful sunset with a hint of rain clouds beginning to loom over. You figure it’s the perfect opportunity for Jimin. Jimin licks his lips in anticipation and slowly stretches his hand over to hold Jungkook’s hand when you two hear a yelp come from Jungkook. You both look down to see what he’s looking at and you see a rather large spider slowly crawling from the corner of your little garden. Jimin flinches in surprise and Jungkook grabs Jimin’s hand to pull him back from your garden over to the other side of the room.
You look down to see Jungkook still holding Jimin’s hand and you smile. Jimin also notices the physical contact being longer than necessary He smugly says that if Jungkook wanted to hold his hand, all he has to do is ask. At this, you roll your eyes and smack Jimin in the ear, calling him out that he was the one who was nervous.

You had been unusually quiet all night, making Jimin increasingly worried. At first he thought maybe you weren’t feeling well, but as the evening pressed on, he could tell there was clearly something bothering you as you seemed to withdraw more and more into yourself.
“Will you please tell me what’s wrong?” He finally asked, coming to sit by you on the couch.
“I don’t know if I wanna say it.” You said, not meeting his eyes.
He took your hand. “It’s okay. You can tell me anything, I won’t judge.”
You shut your eyes, trying to swallow the lump in your throat. God, why did he have to make this so hard?
“What if we… broke up?” Your voice came out barely above a whisper.
You felt him flinch as if you’d slapped him. “What?!” He gasped.
“It’s too much, I-I can’t do it. Everyone keeps saying that you’d be better off without me...”
“Everyone who? What are you saying?” He asked, tears evident in his voice. “Please, look at me, y/n.” He pleaded.
Slowly, you raised your eyes to meet his, your whole body shaking from the effort it took not to fall to pieces.
“Talk to me. What’s happened?” He begged.
And just like that, the dam broke. All the pain and frustration poured out as you began to sob into his chest, the whole story coming out in broken bits and pieces.
For months, you’d borne the brunt of so-called army's hateful comments. At first, you’d tried to just ignore them, aware that it was one of the hazards of dating an idol, but as time went on, they became more and more aggressive and cruel, attacking everything about your appearance and personality. You had tried to cope and keep the comments to yourself, knowing how much it would upset Jimin, but there was only so much you could take.
“I know that they wouldn’t go away completely if we broke up, but… I didn’t know what else to do.” You concluded, leaning weakly against Jimin as he held onto you tightly.
“Why didn’t you tell me before?” He asked, crying with you.
“I didn’t wanna make things worse.” You hiccuped. ”You already have so much going on, and I didn’t want to be another weight on your back.”
“Stop that! That’s what they want you to think, but it’s not true, nothing could be further from the truth.” He rocked you both as he spoke. “You give me so much strength, I don’t know what I would do without you. I’m so sorry I wasn’t there for you, I had no idea.”
“I’m sorry I didn’t tell you.” You whispered, but he shook his head.
“What matters now is we need to stand together against this, okay? I’m not gonna leave you to fight on your own.” He promised you, wiping your tears. “Not ever.”
You nodded. “I love you.”
“I love you too.” He said, pressing a soft kiss to your temple, not loosening his hold on you till long after you'd fallen asleep.
He put out a formal statement later that same evening, stating that anyone who was actually a fan or supporter of him would never treat someone he cared about this way, or anyone else for that matter. He said how disappointed he was with the individuals in question, and how any further harassment would be met with legal action.
He also took several days off to stay with you and make sure you were okay. He'd made a vow that night to you and himself that he would do everything in his power to protect you.

The small flower shop by the beach has always been one of your favorite places to visit. At times you’ve found yourself there, sometimes browsing, occasionally buying, but often talking to the lovely florist with the chocolatey brown hair.
He had told you his name was Jimin, and ever since the first time you’ve set foot in his shop, he’s always been helpful in suggesting flowers for whatever occasion you bring to him. He also seems to have a special talent for assembling bouquets — never overdone yet never lacking, and every single flower is arranged perfectly, not a petal out of place.
Yet one day you come to him in distress, longing to be comforted by the warm glow of the late afternoon sun and the boy who now occupies a rather large space in your heart. In a few months, all your closest friends since childhood will be moving to universities, while you have chosen to stay in the same town you grew up in.
You tell him none of this, but he notices your expression and wordlessly brings out a bouquet from behind the counter. How did he make it so soon after you walked through the door?
Unless… he had started it earlier…
And he gives it to you, a textured array of purples and pinks. “What’s this?” you ask.
“It’s for you,” he says, the tips of his ears turning red. “I — I’ve been meaning to make you one for a while.”
You gently touch one of the larger flowers, the petals feeling velvety under your fingers. “For… me?”
“Yeah,” he says, hoping you don’t notice how flustered he’s getting.
Knowing Jimin, he was a flower expert and never added anything without first giving it a great deal of thought. “What do they mean?” you ask, the plastic wrap crinkling loudly in the small shop as you lower it and gaze up at him.
He feigns innocence. “What does what mean?”
“The flowers, what do they represent?”
“Oh, um…” He bites his bottom lip nervously and gestures to the pink flowers. “These are peonies. They represent prosperity, compassion, and sometimes shyness.” Hmm, now that he mentions it, you are starting to feel a bit shy in his presence. Maybe he’s right about that last part.
“And these, uh…” He points to the small flowers that are a darker shade of purple. “These magenta ones are lilacs. They symbolize passion, and — and I remember you told me about your passion for music and dance… so that’s why I added them. Mmhm.”
But you realize that the entire time, he hasn’t yet mentioned the lighter purple flowers — a different kind of lilac, since they look similar to the ones he’s just described. They’re the most abundant in the bouquet, but he hasn’t explained them yet. Almost as if he’s been avoiding bringing it up.
“And what are these ones?” You hold up one of the buds with a lifted finger.
“Um…” He visibly swallows, and he immediately realizes that maybe he’s made a mistake in giving this to you. “Umm…”
You wait patiently for his answer, which he eventually delivers. “Theymeanfirstlove,” he says quickly, his cheeks flushing.
You lean forward to hear better. “What was that?”
“They — they mean… first love,” he mumbles. “And so do the rest of them,” he confesses. “They all mean — they mean love.” And he glances up to see your reaction, only to find that your face is just as red as his. “Y-yeah,” he finishes awkwardly and looks away. “Sorry…”
“Sorry?” You stare at him in awe. “Jimin, this is — this is really sweet of you, thank you.” You hand it back to him, careful not to mess up the bouquet, and that’s when Jimin knows that he’s made a huge mistake. He’s ruined it, hasn’t he, he’s ruined his friendship with you, and he’s —
“For you too,” you say, trying to stare at anything else that isn’t him out of embarrassment. “I — I mean all of those things, too, Jimin.”
His mouth forms an “O” shape and his eyes widen. “So… you’re saying… you feel the same w—”
His words are abruptly cut off by the sensation of your lips to his cheek. “Yeah,” you say shyly as you step back. “Yeah, I do.”
“Then is it okay if I —” He stops, glancing between your irises for any sign of permission. He finds it in the way your eyes crinkle as you smile, and takes that as his cue to lean forwards and press his plush lips against yours.
As sunlight ventures into the shop through wooden blinds, the beams dance over your back and the collar of Jimin’s shirt, illuminating the room with the final light of the day and the first light for the two of you.
