hatred is instinctive the moment you think of a character like mahito. someone who murders recklessly, including a loved and an incongruous character like junpei. but what if there’s more?
mahito is a special grade cursed spirit that was born from human transgression. hatred towards one another and yet is immature and frankly, new. dispute between humans has been going on for centuries and only now is he alive. unlike him, jogou, hanami, dagon, and etc are all, seemingly, mature. they seem to have been in existence for a while now. representing the fear of nature, they are powerful due to many dreading those aspects of the world.
so why did mahito only recently come into existence? i don’t think that’ll ever be concluded because he's dead. AHAHAH ! but that leads me to question humanity.
do we fear expressing our hate towards others so much that we repress it, ultimately leading to the representation of our resentment, mahito, to be nebulous? nebulous of how to express this hatred causing sadistic death?

Roses of Fire: Jogo x Hanami (Hanago) headcanons
Characters: Jogo, Hanami (Geto, Dagon and Mahito mentioned)
Rating: sfw, warnings: canon typical violence mentions, some angsty parts. Read under the cut :3
These two obviously distinguish each other a bit more, but they both tend to care and appreciate everyone in their little Curse Spirit family. They are like the two parents of it. Hanami is more of the caring and affectionate dad that is great with advice, meanwhile Jogo is the one that yells a lot at everyone because he's worried about them.
They are used to family gatherings with the rest of the squad, and they are not so often left alone, but when this happens, much tension lingers in the atmosphere. Especially Jogo is feeling extra awkward, and tries to avoid many interactions with him, so that his shyness doesn't show and his tongue doesn't slip. Whenever they have to talk about something, most of the times Hanami asking him something, he winces and tries not to tremble, or even worse, get an explosive head. And Hanami feels jolts in his heart whenever he sets eyes on him, without him noticing, thinking that he's cute, and that his nervousness makes him even cuter. They have this urge to touch, but they are not sure why.
Sometimes, they actually can set all this aside and start talks more to the philosophical side, about the future they dream of them and their fellows, the True Humans. A better world for all of them that were treated with injustice and were discriminated upon. A better future for the earth Then, without realising it, they come closer, and lean to each other, hold and squeeze hands even. Realising that, they clear their throats awkwardly and step back, but their hearts tell them to get even closer.
They have their difficult moments as well. Sometimes they just have to comfort each other like no one else can. Hanami's calm words and advice always help Jogo ease and stop tensing or being angry. His warm hand on his shoulder is helping him feel safe, and even sometimes feel like expressing his emotions with more honesty. Jogo doesn't want to cry in front of others, but somehow, he forgets that when Hanami is comforting him with his soothing, poetic words. He wipes his tears with his fingers and looks in his face, reassuring him that everything will go fine, and Jogo constantly apologizes for being weak. Hanami holds his hands close and reminds him that crying doesn't mean one is weak.
On the contrary, Hanami is always honest with his emotions, he doesn't hesitate to cry or feel vulnerable around Jogo. His concerns are always about the Earth, the sacred soil they step on that the humans pollute, and the slightest damage he sees around him overwhelm him. Jogo is not the best at comforting others, but he feels his companion and tries his best. These are the rare moments they allow themselves to get closer. Jogo may not have too many words to use, but his embraces are as warm as the fire that lives inside of him. He wraps his cape around him and by that moment they both feel like they escaped from reality and got found in their ideal euphoric place.
Until someone gets to them and interrupts them. When they get caught by the rest of their family, by reflex they stop touching or looking too close.
Mahito always makes fun of how tsundere they both can become. Dagon is so happy for them, and gets moved because he wants his friends to feel happiness and find a shelter in each other, like he also does. Geto, inside of him thinks that this closeness is too unnecessary. Especially because he knows that one day, they will just end and their purpose will be fulfilled. But he just ignores it and moves on with his plans.
Of course, like every relationship, even in theirs there are some conflicts at times. Their different characters can cause some mild fights, mostly because Jogo is way denser and sometimes he doesn't value things the same as Hanami, who is sensitive. Of course, with the reminder of their common goals and their unity, they always discuss what bothered them and apologize to each other. A warm hug always helps to get over differences. Jogo reassures him that even though he doesn't understand him completely, he won't destroy any forests as he sometimes lets slip in his anger, but protect his precious sanctuaries like he'd protect Hanami and himself.
In the fights against their enemies, they always have each other's back. They combine their powers to trap and distract their opponents and then blow them up. And always prioritise getting each other out of dangerous situations with swift moves.
If they get wounds, they take good care of each other. They always support each other on their shoulders and help with the recovery. Hanami especially gives all of his affection to Jogo while helping him heal, plus tries to make things more light-hearted when his companion whines because his injuries hurt. And Jogo always wants to soothe his pain. He asks him where he hurts and when he gets an answer, he looks left and right to see if anyone watches, and then, gives him gentle kisses, even though he's internally freaking out of nervousness.
Curses don't need sleep, however, the nighttime is peaceful and a great opportunity to hang out, lie next to each other even. The sounds of the nature, the crickets, the soft breeze of the night and the pleasant scents of the flowers are always adding to the pleasant memories, to their senses. Jogo exploits the fact that he's smaller to snuggle in Hanami's embrace, feeling safe and free to express himself as they lie together on a hammock, gently cradling themselves.
Their life is sure full of challenges in order to reach their goals, but they gain power to continue from each other. That is enough for them to feel the need to try more, as a gift to each other and a better future for everyone in their family.

I finally drew something aaaa
Imagine you turned into a kid (3 or 4 years) and the jjk boys have to take care of you and they don't have a clue on what to do and the girls (who actually know how to take care of a baby) are all out shopping or something.
Should I write that? Like I feel like it would be funny. Also if any of you decide to write that please tag me so I can read it I love to read it!
