" Where are you even going at this hour? "

Sukuna glances up. He'd left the door to his room open, for no particular reason.

Meanwhile, Megumi glances at the many cursed tools he's got spread out over his desk and bed.

" M' gonna find the little shit. "

Megumi raises an unimpressed brow.

" You've been looking for her for a while now. It's futile. "

Sukuna had expected the reaction. Especially from Megumi. Yuuji would've asked him to join, but he wasn't putting his 5 minute younger brother in danger like that.

" Then I suppose I'm going for an evening stroll. Does that suit your taste better? "

Megumi blinks in annoyance. This is why he didn't get along well with Sukuna. He was stubborn, much like you. Megumi sighs, thinking for a moment before shaking his head.

" Should I wake Yuuji and Nobara to join us? "

Sukuna glances at him in question.

" That curse beat Y/N. And she's not weak. None of us have a change of beating this spirit alone. "

Sukuna and Megumi have a similar issue. They have a sincere issue in showing vulnerable emotions. This is probably the most sentimental they'd ever get with one another, and if you were here, you would be proud of them.

Either way, Sukuna shakes his head.

" We've beat cursed spirits in pairs before. The two of us will do. "

Megumi doubts the two of them will do.

His eyes are wide, focused on the spirit in front of them. He's not sure if they found it or if it found them.

" Heheheh. How cute. Two little Jujutsu students. "

The spirit is laughing, mocking them as it looks down at them from their elevated position.

Megumi's eyes widen, noting it's cursed energy. It was heavy, powerful. Megumi doubts this is a good idea.

" We should run."

Of course, his pleas fall on deaf ears.

Sukuna is smirking at the spirit, his eyes wide in a kind of rage that even shakes Megumi. He knows Sukuna was a force to be reckoned with. Sukuna's heavenly pact made him one of the most powerful people around, even without cursed energy. With Y/N, he was unstoppable.

" Where's the little shit?"

The curse raises a brow. ( Is it even a brow?), before catching on, its lips (are those even lips?), pulling into a grin.

" Ah, you mean that cute little girl?"

Something flashes in Sukuna's eyes. His hand reaching for his most powerful weapons.

" What did you do to her?"

It's Megumi who asks, ready to summon Nue while Sukuna clicks the Chain of a Thousand Miles and Inverted Spear of Heaven together.

The curse's eyes flash over the special grade cursed weapon. It knew it could exorcise it.

It knew it needed to avoid that from happening.

Nonetheless, it keeps up it's act, pretending to be as confident as before.

It crouches down, leaning its head on the palm of its hand as it looks at them.

" I sent her away. You won't be able to find her."

Megumi's eyes narrow, before widening, realizing it's cursed technique.

" Rabbit escape!"

As the shadows create a large amount of rabbits, Megumi grabs Sukuna by his collar  avoiding him from attacking. Sukuna is surprised. Annoyed too, but he trusts his classmate.

Soon enough, they're hidden away from it's view.

" It can teleport."

" What?"

" It cursed technique must be some kind of teleportation. And it's range must be huge, considering we can't find Y/N anywhere. We can't exorcise it. We have to capture it."

" So we're just meant to wait here?"

Takuma is the one asking the question you're all wondering.

Nanami nods.

" Yes. Our job is to exorcise a spirit if he misses it."

" That sounds awfully boring."

" We could help him. It's a group of special grades right?"

You try your luck. You never know how it will end up after all. That feeling of unease still in your stumic.

Takuma grins at you.

" Ah right, you're from a completely different universe right? You don't need to worry. Our Gojo sensei is the strongest!"

He's beaming, yet you don't share the sentiment.

" That shouldn't mean that he has to carry that burden alone."

Nanami's eyes widen at your words, studying your expression. Nanami has met a lot of people. He's never heard anyone say words like those.

" Is your Gojo the strongest as well?"

You nod.

" Yes. He's quite the same. "

" Ooeh, what about me? Have we met in your universe?"

Takuma can't help himself, curious about where you're from.

" Yeah. We've done a mission together actually. "

Takuma remains excited, asking you multiple questions about your own universe. You answer them as best as you can. After a moment, it falls silent again.

" Hey Megumi, where's Nobara and Yuuji? I thought they'd be with us."

He shakes his head at your question.

" Yuuji is on Mei's team.-"

His eyes glance towards Nanami subtly, like he wants to add something. He seems to decide against it, continuing.

" And Nobara is with Maki on team Zen'In."

You pout.

" There's a girl team and I'm not even invited?"

" Ah, don't worry Kamo! We're fun too!"

" Besides, you should be glad. They've got Zen'In's old man on the team. Do you have him in your universe?"

You nod.

" I think so. Never spoke to him though."

" You should be glad. He looks down on women. Maki hates him. I'm sure Nobara hates him too by now."

While the three of you had been conversing, Nanami checks his phone, subtly catching all of your attention.

" The transfigured humans who were waiting inside the building are now attacking non-sorcerers. Which is why we're ending standby and moving in."

Soon enough he's stepping forward, shrugging his shoulders off. He lays his jacket over his arm neatly.

You wonder where he'll leave it.

" We may be acting against orders, but if we wait any longer,  it might be too late."

He sighs.

" This, my other concern is-"

Both Takuma and Megumi take his words right out of his mouth, while you listen patiently.

" The other-"

" The other veil that keeps sorcerers outside, correct?"

Takuma glances at Megumi in surprise, animatedly moving behind the two of them as they converse.

" Why deploy the veil now that Gojo sensei is inside?"

" Either something has happened inside, or they were waiting for this moment as part of their strategy. What I can say for certain is that they wouldn't move without a plan. Y/N and I focus on the enemies who lowered the veil. You two do your best to rescue civilians."

All three of you nod in understanding.

And soon enough, all three of you enter the veil.

You wonder if the other teams were doing the same.

You're nervous.

You have no choice but to fight the disfigured humans now.

However, just as your team stepped a few ways in-

" Nanamin!"

Was that?-

" Nanamin, are you here?!"

That must be-

" Gojo sensei has been sealed!"

You lock gazes with Megumi, confirming your suspicious. This was, without a doubt, Itadori Yuuji.

Everyone's eyes widen.

" You three, change of plans. "

He turns around.

" We must join forces with Itadori at once. If he has indeed been sealed, it could spell the end for every human in this country."

Yuuji continues calling for Nanami like a child calling for his dad while you make your way over.

In fact, he doesn't stop even when you're right behind him, until-

" Oi!"

Megumi has to hit him in order to get him out of his his trance.

" Ohh- Fushiguro, Y/N, Nanamin. And... who?"

Eventually, Yuuji ends up explaining what has gone down while the four of you were outside. Or rather- Mechamaru explains.

Apparently he's been carrying him around like an earpiece.

You follow his story, yet you can't help but notice the folded black and white fluff to your left. Wordlessly, you take a few steps towards the cat, and pet it.

It purrs in response. Megumi watches what you're doing, but no one comments on it.

" Geto did it?"

" The thing that's acting as Geto Suguru, to be precise. Shibuya is overrun with curses right now. It's overrun by special grades, weaker curses, and curse users who follow Geto, as well as transfigured humans and civilians. "

" Then attacking through the subway from neighboring stations does make sense. But in order to do that, we need that veil lifted."

" This is an emergency. We'll have to multitask."

You can see Nanami thinking as you get up from where you were petting the cat, which has now run off. Unbeknownst to you, he wanted to keep an eye on you. He couldn't allow you to die, sorcerer or not. This was not your universe. Who knows what would happen to your own if you were to die here.

However, now that things have gotten more dangerous, he needs to be able to work without distracting himself. Gojo told him about your skills. You were nowhere near weak. You weren't the strongest either. Gojo also commented on Megumi's fondness of you. You'd be safe with your classmates.

" Some requests can only be submitted by a first grade sorcerer. I'll step outside and take care of those with Ijichi. In the mean time, I want you four to do something about the veil that's keeping the sorcerers out.-"

He informs everyone, while walking past you. Finally, he turns to Takuma. He's seated on the ledge of the building, the cat you had previously been petting now curled into a rice ball next to him, enjoying his attention.

" Kusakabe and honorary first grade Zen'In should be inside the veil as well. If you meet them, please explain the situation  and request for their assistance. Though that shouting earlier might've done the job."

Takuma nods in understanding, his expression serious as he takes in every word. He must look ul to Nanami to react like that.

" And lastly, I'm leaving these three in your care."

And then Nanami is gone. He's disappeared through the door on the rooftop.

Takuma is quiet for a moment.

" Ino?"

Yuuji checks.

" You guys! Before we start the mission, let me explain how serious the situation is. Starting with the two main issues with losing Gojo sensei. First! The fall of the Gojo clan. The Gojo clan is a one man team of himself. His whims and influences have saved many sorcerers.- Itadori, Kamo, you're one of them, correct?"

You nod.

" That's right!"

Yuuji looks silly as he confirms.

Takuma doesn't appreciate that.

" Take this seriously! All of those people are gonna find themselves in trouble, or worse, executed.-"

You swallow.

Why was the Jujutsu world so mean?

" The second issue is the collapse of the power balance. Those who have remained in the shadows because of Gojo will make their move.- If society is over disarray over the first, and the second will start a war, we will lose. That's how Nanami and I see it. And what do you think happens if we lose?"

Megumi looks nearly bored as he replies.

" At the very least, the age of humans in Japan would be over."

Takuma grins at him, tugging at his beanie/mask.

" I see you get the idea. Let's get going! By the time Nanami gets back, that veil will be destroyed!"

Takuma is visibly motivated, slapping a shoulder of each of you in encouragement as he walks past you.

" Let's save Gojo Satoru!"

[ Parallel Jujutsu Kaisen Universe ]

The two of them, were, in fact, not enough.

Sukuna finds himself wishing you were here so you'd summon that pretty blade which was as light as a feather. He could swear the sword you kept with you was simply more powerful than whatever he has in his hands now.

He hisses as he lands on top of a building harshly. From the corner of his eye, he sees Megumi do the same. The spirit was much stronger than they had initially thought. However, both refuse to give up, and soon enough, they're charging against the spirit at the same time.

The plan was originally simple enough.

Get the Chain of a Thousand Miles wrapped around it, and force it to Jujutsu Tech.

The plan was still running anything but smoothly though.

" Two against one? That's hardly fair."

It's mocking them though, charging up a white ball and throwing it right at Megumi. Both boys' their eyes widen. It had been physical, close up combat up until now.

It's too quick, and Megumi has no time to avoid. Sukuna throws his Chain his way, and Megumi is close to grasping it- when the white ball hits him

First, it's a regular explosion at a decent size, nothing that would permanently put Megumi on the sidelines of their battle.

Then a huge soundwave follows, sending both Megumi and Sukuna in opposite directions.

Sukuna is quick to get back on his feet. He doesn't doubt that Megumi is too, unless he had landed harshly into a building. ( In which case he'll have to suck it up and get over it- Sukuna needs him.)

The spirit raises it's brow at him.

" You've got no cursed energy."

Sukuna scoffs, grinning.

" Yet I can still beat your ass."

The curse grins in response. It opens it's mouth to say something, but Sukuna is done with his shit. Mercilessly, he throws the Chain skillfully his way. The curse had been stupid, probably underestimating him as it had gotten closer.

Now, Sukuna tugs it closer, bringing them face to face with one another.

" Last chance before I hand you to Gojo sensei. Where. Is. Y/N?"

The curse's eyes, which were originally wide, turn into smiling crescents.

" Why don't you find out?"

It's smiling, happy.

Suddenly, a golden ring appears below him. Sukuna's brow furrows.

And then he's falling.

He makes a mistake, holding the end of the Chain in front of him.

Giving the curse a window to escape.

Of course it does.

And then he's falling again.

Eventually, he hits his face flat to the ground.

" Fuck's sake-"

As he gets up, he wipes a hand over his nose. It's bleeding. He scoffs in annoyance.

He looks up, studying his surroundings.

Wait-

Why was he in Shibuya?

Now more annoyed than before, he huffs, finally getting up and grumbling to himself in annoyance.

He turns to leave, intending to take the bus back to Jujutsu Tech.

However, he walks straight into...something?

He furrows his brows in confusion, glancing up, he only notices how dark the sky is now.

A veil.

Why was there a veil in Shibuya?

Soon enough, you, Megumi, Yuuji and Ino are in front of the veil.

" Nope, it didn't even budge."

Ino is watching with wide eyes as Yuuji punches the veil, which rumbles in response.

"N-nice try."

It must be his first time seeing Yuuji's strength.

"  The veil's sturdy. We'll have to find a weak spot and put a hole in it, even for a moment. We can't do anything without getting inside."

While Megumi's speaking, Yuuji casually drop kicks a curse. You're not useless either. You've uncapped one of your two water skins, and have created a whiplash of the water, hitting curses left and right.

Ino glances at your skill, impressed. He's never seen anything like it before.

" Water Manipulation."

You answer the question he hasn't asked just yet.

His brows raise in surprise. He's never heard of that technique before.

Meanwhile, Yuuji blinks.

" Huh, why not?"

"Yuuji, this is the veil that keeps sorcerers from entering."

You point out, cringing as Megumi's Demon Dog digs into the curse Yuuji just drop kicked like it's a meal.

"Veils are for cover and protection, right? Which fundamentally means that the one who deployed it must be inside."

Soon enough everyone is brainstorming. It gets down to it that there's a good chance that the one who cast the veil is outside of it. Besides, if they were inside, Yuuji's punch must've worked. Which it didn't.

" By that logic, they must've centered it around a place that stands out, don't you think? because the increased risk of discovering would make it even stronger?"

You find yourself nodding to Megumi's words, eyes flicking to the high building behind you. If Megumi's words were true, then the building behind you would be a good, not so subtle, hiding spot.

" A place that stands out?"

All three guys follow your line of sight.

Cerulean Tower.

Soon enough, you've formed a plan together. Megumi would summon Nue, and Yuuji would use the cord he has kept around casually in his pocket (Maki said It'd be useful) to catch them off guard. You and Ino would take out the veil, which must be in some kind of bolt looking object, according to Yuuji.

Soon enough, the plan is set in motion. Yuuji casually takes all three curse users by surprise, taking them with him with the cord, exactly according to plan.

Ino glances at the odd bolt like sealed object.

"So this is the foundation of the veil?"

Yuuji nods, explaining that the conditions  for the veil were already inside.

soon enough, Ino breaks the object.

However, the veil doesn't break.

" There must've been three."

You mumble, judging by the dots in the ground. You glance at the curse users, as do the others. Ino seems to catch sight of the curse user who's holding the remaining two at the same time you do. Yuuji is already chasing at the curse user by the time the two of you notice.

He calls something to Megumi as he launches himself and the curse user off the building, leaving you and Ino to deal with the two in front of you.

A grandma and her grandson, judging by the looks of it.

Literally, that's how they address one another.

" Now, I've got my underclassmen to look out for. I better snag some achievements and hit that first-grade rank."

You're not sure why he's sharing this with you, or the curse users.

You don't bother asking, or uncapping either of your water skins. You need to be careful in your use of water. It's not like you can ever run out of a water source to be exact, but still.

You'd rather not turn to those measures.

Beside you, Ino summons something.

" Y/N. Join your classmates. I can handle this."

He'd rather keep all the first years together, just to be sure.

Your eyes flash with surprise. You glance at the curse users.

" Are you sure?"

He nods.

You search his features before nodding. Turning around, you make quick work of jumping down. Still, you scream as you plummet right towards your friends. You hurriedly uncap one of your water skins, manipulating the water in it to the ground, the water reaching for you like an elegant wave. Megumi and Yuuji both seem surprised at your arrival.

" Wasn't the plan that you'd stay with Ino?"

" he wanted me to join you two. What's the situation looking like?" You ask.

The two of them nod in front of them, towards the man who lies rolled up on the floor.

" Huh? His body is clean."

You point out with a raised brow. Megumi nods.

"Exactly. Get up, sneaky old geezer!"

For a moment, the man doesn't respond. He simply remains there, ignoring Megumi's words.

" Good grief. Kids these days got no pity for us old folks."

You watch as he gets up, snapping the wire around him like it's nothing.

" We can't waste time here."

" We won't. Y/N, follow me in."

You glance at Yuuji in surprise, before nodding, enforcing your whole body with cursed energy.

He must've remembered the training the two of you did not too long ago.

-

" Hey Y/N, we know you're pretty skilled with your cursed technique, but are you also good in hand to hand combat? Considering you always keep enemies at a distance."

You glance up from where you're resting in the grassy field of the school, leaning against Nobara.

" What kind of question is that, Itadori? Do you want to fight her?"

Nobara scowls at him from beside you. You smile at her expression.

Yuuji hurriedly shakes his head.

" Ah, no. I didn't mean it like that. I was just curious.-"

" I am. My mother wasn't sure if I would manifest a technique, so she made sure I knew how to handle myself if the other kids of the clan ever decided to pick on me. I used to fight a lot."

Nobara raises a brow, turning to you in surprise.

" You did? You don't seem like the violent type."

" I'm not. At least, not anymore. I used to be before I manifested my cursed technique. I was a late bloomer as well, it didn't happen until I was 8.- But I used to pick a fight with any cousin who looked at me like I was dirt. That was a lot of cousins. Not Noritoshi though, we got along since the day we met. our mothers are fond of one another."

" Ah, right. You're part of the Kamo clan. what was your life like there?"

You blink, shrugging.

" Hard. The Kamo clan hates me. My technique renders their own useless."

They both nod. Truthfully, they don't really remember what the Kamo clan's technique was. Nor do they really care.

" Anyway-"

You get up, dusting off your clothes as you turn to face him.

" You wanna try fighting me?"

Yuuji blinks.

" Are you sure? I don't want to hurt you."

" For that you need to be able to hit me first.-"

You grin at him.

" -Besides, I'm you twi- Sukuna's best friend. You think he ever goes soft on me during training?"

Yuuji hums, grinning as he too gets up.

Nobara moves to the side of the field, your water skins laid beside her.

Megumi blinks, approaching the scene as he rubs his shoulder.

" What're they doing now?"

" Training. How was your training with Maki?"

He grits his teeth, flexing his arm.

" Instructive."

She smiles.

And then you and Yuuji move.

You're surprisingly quick on your feet without your water skins adding extra weight on you. You dance around Yuuji like some kind of dancer, jumping around weightlessly as you avoid his hits and kicks. Sometimes, you dab at him right after you've avoided yet another punch.

Eventually, you haven't necessarily beaten Yuuji. However, he gives up, dizzy from the countless circling movements you move in.

-

Eventually, you end up making an easy gateway for Yuuji to punch through, time and time again. In between You and Yuuji's combined attacks, Megumi makes his way through with demon dog, along with aiming at him with a cursed tool. The old man is swift as well, avoiding most hits, and for some reason remaining unaffected by any other punch that does hit him.

Eventually, he takes out a pocket knife, shallowly slicing through Yuuji. Yuuji doesn't seem affected, back to punching him in the same second. Megumi comes between the two smoothly, Megumi's toad shikigami slinging the curse user into the wall.

" Itadori!"

" No worries, just a scratch."

You follow the man's movements with your eyes, uncapping a water skin to heal the shallow cut on Yuuji anyway within seconds.

Yuuji nods at you in thanks.

" Such power. Such promising features."

How was this man still uninjured?

" Makes killing you all more worth it."

Beside Yuuji, you can see Megumi puzzle as well from the corner of your eye.

Was he uninjured because of some kind of cursed technique?

" Demon Dog's claws can injure even special grades.."

" I hit him with all I got too.."

" Then why..?"

You can hear the frustration in Megumi's voice.

You wonder the same thing.

" Then how is he completely unscathed?"

You furrow your brows.

" He can't have something like cursed energy nullification.. right?"

All you get in response are furrowed brows of concern.

And then the man's on you again.

" We were free. But that freedom was taken from us! By Gojo Satoru!"

He manages to whack a kick right into Yuuji's face, Megumi's sword slicing right through the fence behind him.

" I will never retire!-"

Megumi blocks his kick, the blunt back of his sword hitting the old man right in the head.

Sadly, he doesn't relent in his nonsense.

" I'll trample over the weak until the day I die!"

He manages to break free from Megumi, though Megumi does end up slicing him right across the face with his blade. You kick him away, creating a small distance again.

" Seriously, what's with this guy?! I get that he's tough, but there has to be more to it!"

For a moment, you and Megumi try to puzzle his technique together, considering it has to have to do something with that.

"Hey! Gojo Satoru is here in Shibuya! You better leave the foundations for the veil behind and run!"

Both you and Yuuji glance at Megumi in question.

" What lousy bluff. Gojo Satoru is sealed. You guys yelled it out for the world to hear. Why do you think we curse users are out? Otherwise I would be sleeping."

So he can't beat Gojo sensei. It can't be cursed energy nullification.

" Fushiguro~, you suck at lying."

Yuuji's pouting, laying a hand on his best friend's shoulder.

"It's okay though. You tried."

He's being dramatic, all puppy eyes. You can't help but giggle slightly at the behavior. Megumi seems more annoyed by it.

" Shut up."

" If you don't want to fight, I'll kill you now."

" get ready."

You do just as Yuuji says, this time uncapping one of your water skins.- But then Megumi's eyes widen.

" Rabbit escape."

At once, multiple rabbits hop up, out of Megumi's shadow, they block the man's vision. One ends up in Yuuji's arms, and you pick one up too. It's surprisingly soft. You didn't except shikigami to actually be soft. (  You've asked your universe's Megumi to let you pet his rabbits. He's always said no.)

You glance at Megumi in surprise.

" Did you figure out his technique?"

He nods, tugging Yuuji back by his hood.

Inverse, that's his technique. The harder you punch, the less damage he receives.

Megumi has a plan, one you can follow with ease. Act like you don't know. You will land an exceptionally useless attack, Yuuji a rough one, and Megumi in between. It should render his technique.

It takes only a few moments, and then you're back. Megumi opens the attack, landing max elephant right on the man's head.

The man grins.

" Is that all that you've got?"

Max elephant dissipates.

" Come down and face me like a real man!"

The man yells up to where Megumi is currently stood on top of a lantern pole. Megumi simply points down.

" That's more their style."

Yuuji straight up throws a car at him.

Where he gets the strength from, you don't know.

You follow him in, your water skin uncapped as you chase after him, a long elegant line of water following you at your command. Megumi and Yuuji follow in too, charging up for what would be 'the final blow'. All three of you at once, locking him in position. At the very last minute, your manipulation on the water loosens. It turns into one big splash, only strong enough to push over a young child at most. Megumi summons a toad shikigami at the last second, and Yuuji punches him square in the stumic.

The attack works. He's coughing up blood. You don't stop there, the three of you each punch him one by one, landing a hit square on him.

He doesn't like it.

" Don't get cocky over that, you brats!"

The three of you jump away. Yuuji charges up with cursed energy, pretending to hit him square in the face once more. However, just before his fist is about to make contact with the man's face, he drops all cursed energy. The power behind it disappears, instead landing a raw punch square on the man's face.

it seems like Megumi's plan worked out.

" You're surprisingly adept."

" Really?"

Yuuji cocks his head at Megumi's words.

You smile, about to add on to their conversation, when you feel something.

It's like a call, pulling at your cursed energy.

Your smile falters, turning around in the directions where you can feel it coming from.

Was there perhaps another you in this universe with cursed energy? Or was it someone else?

-

" Pickled mustard leaf?"

Sukuna is angry. And disgusted. And irritated. especially irritated. How dare you disappear at the hands of the cursed spirit, causing him to chase after you? He's got zero idea what's wrong with Shibuya today. He can't leave, because of the stupid veil that keeps him from leaving. He's beating up curses left and right. ripping through them with a wicked blade, it's edges reversed, jagged, meant to inflict pain on curses ( for his own sick amusement, you cringe at it every time you see it.) there's something odd about the curses he's ripping through though. They're bleeding.

Nonetheless, he keeps going, only pausing to look at Inumaki.

" Who the fuck you callin' Yuuji?!"

For a split moment, tension between them rises. Sukuna raises his free hand, probably to swing it down for added dramatics, when he pauses, completely stilling. his eyes are fixed on his bracelet, the water in it swishing in a particular direction, even when he stands still. Sukuna's eyes are wide, realization hitting him.

Meanwhile Inumaki studies Sukuna. He looks like Yuuji, and he looks like Ryomen Sukuna, Yet he's completely different. He's much more buff, and for some reason, he's tall, taller than Inumaki, and taller than the Yuuji he knows. This must be your Sukuna. His tattoos are similar, yet not the same. There's no mark on his forehead, no slits under his eyes that should represent another pair of eyes.

Meanwhile, Sukuna's focus shifts to Inumaki, his gaze hard. He still has no idea what's going on. As far as he's concerned. He's in his Shibuya. He has no idea about what's going on just yet.

" Where's Y/N?"

Inumaki tenses.

He's heard that your Sukuna is different, kinder even, yet he's still intimidated. He's got no cursed energy. Yet the blood that's staining the jagged side of his blade, splatters of it on his face and clothes too, make him appear much more menacing than most sorcerers he's had to face. Especially with the cold look in his eyes.

He looks like he's ready to kill him.

[ A/N: Smoll heads up, I'm only catching up to what happens after Shibuya now and well,, err- it's a puzzle for the story line. After the Shibuya incident, updates will be slow.

ps. Would you be interested in silly little drabbles to keep you guys engaged in the story about Y/N in her universe? ]

Pairing: Jujutsu Kaisen X Reader, eventually Character x Reader (idk who yet tho)

The object which contains the veil is destroyed by Yuuji, and you can't help but notice how pretty the veil looks beautiful as it dissipates into nothing.

" wait- the anti sorcerer veil is the only one that got lifted, right? But didn't we break three of these? Including the one Ino broke?"

Yuuji realizes. Megumi's eyes are on you. You look distracted. After the veil went down, your eyes returned to the direction where the odd pull of cursed energy is coming from.

" You okay?"

You snap back to reality, glancing back at Megumi, who looks as unbothered as always.

" Yeah, just- nevermind."

You sigh, shaking your head. Things were brewing in Shibuya. This could be a trap, no matter how familiar the feeling is. Megumi searches your expression, but he doesn't push it. You'll find out what that call is later. You're needed here now.

" Either they used all three to lower one veil, or the other two were dummies. Either way, sorcerers are free to move now. That leaves the veil trapping Gojo sensei and the veil trapping the civilians. I wanted to interrogate the old man, but it looks like he's out cold."

You glance at the man, who's laid unconscious against a fence.

" I could heal him partially?"

" That's a waste of effort. There's no guarantee he'll work with us. We should rejoin Ino and-."

" Ino!"

Like he was summoned, the guy appears to be plummeting from the sky, not to far away from you. Megumi is quick to summon Nue, while Yuuji jumps down, a short cut of some sort. You uncap the water skin with clean water, coming to his aid as Yuuji catches him.

He looks bad. He's all roughed up, bleeding particularly nasty from the top of his head. You don't waste any time. Manipulating the water to surround your hands, you press them to the wound on his forehead. To your worry, he doesn't react to it. Nonetheless, the wound heals, the water on your hands melting into his skin.

" Y/N, your water-"

" Yeah, I know. It's alright, it does that with heavier injuries."

You explain, continuing to heal the wounds on him which you can see. The ones that look particular nasty. More and more of your water melts into his skin, but you'll be fine.

Besides, you can always use your own sweat to work with, no matter how uncomfortable and weird that is.

" Don't heal everyone you see. We need you in battle."

You shake your head.

" I can't not do that, Megumi. I'm a healer first."

Megumi sighs at your words. You smile at Him.

" Don't worry. I never run out of water sources.- Anyway, Ino won't be able to fight anymore, he'll have to tap out."

" I'm gonna go beat them up."

" Itadori, I understand how you feel, but what's our priority right now?"

Yuuji sighs.

" Gojo sensei."

" The veil's lifted. Those guys might've escaped already. Let's get Ino out of here."

" Take care of Ino for me."

Your mouth opens slightly in surprise, your eyes shifting from Ino to Yuuji.

" Where are you going?"

" I'll head to the station."

In a way, it's the best option. But the idea of operating in Shibuya alone right now?

" All right, but-"

" If I die, you'll kill me, right?"

Yuuji's grinning, pointing fingers guns at Megumi.

Megumi seems surprised, but doesn't verbally react to it for a moment.

" Besides, I have Mechamaru with me. Even though he has been quiet for a while."

Megumi sighs, getting up. Nue flexes it's wings as Megumi does so, ready to take off with Ino on hs back.

" All right, as long as you understand."

" I can come with you?"

" No."

Both guys are quick to turn down your offer, causing you to raise a questionable brow.

" What's that supposed to mean? "

" You have to stay alive. You can't die in our universe. "

" Exactly. And I'm going where it's more dangerous, so you'll be safer with Fushiguro."

You give both of them an offended look.

" Are you calling me weak?"

Yuuji blinks, an obvious sign that he absolutely did not mean that. Megumi sighs too.

" Don't be fussy about it, Y/N. You must have people back at home who are worried about you. You can't die here. It's cruel."

Megumi fixes you with a look, and you pout, before sighing. He's right. Your parents, your friends, they must all be incredibly worried about you. Hell, with how long you've been here, you wouldn't be surprised if they were mourning your death. You want to see them at least once, before you die.

" Fine. But just... be careful."

Yuuji grins at you, nodding.

" Don't worry. I'll be there the day we find you a way back home. "

He's playfully winking at you, and then he's running off.

You and Megumi turn around, making your way towards the edge of the veil trapping civilians.

Every few seconds, he glances at you. You know him well enough to know that he wants to ask a question.

" Hm?  What is it?"

For a moment he doesn't say anything, walking on, but eventually, he finally speaks.

" What had you so distracted earlier?"

You turn to him in surprise.

" Oh. Something is pulling at my cursed energy. I've felt it before, but I just can't remember where."

He sends you a worried glance.

" Pulling at your cursed energy? "

" Yeah. Like someone else is using it. Which is weird, because I don't exist in this universe."

A real pity. He thinks to himself.

" Like a call?"

" Exactly like that."

" Do you still feel it?"

You nod.

" I do."

" Where is it coming from?"

You stop walking, glancing in a specific direction.

" It's sort of distant, but my guess it's that it's coming from somewhere on the other side of Shibuya."

-

Inumaki Toge was annoying, and useless.

Now of course, Sukuna was well aware that he was simply greater than his senpai, especially in hand to hand combat, considering the Heavenly Pact he's been blessed with at birth. However, he also knows that Toge's cursed technique can simply step on him like a bug.

By now, Sukuna has realized that there's something wrong. He's definitely not home, and this Inumaki seems to be completely unfamiliar with him. Every move he taught his senpai was not being used currently. Nonetheless, Inumaki is throwing punch after punch, trying to aim on his face. A stupid move. He knew all his schoolmate's fighting styles', and there were only a few who stood a fair chance against him in hand to hand combat. Zen'In Maki, and Itadori Yuuji. Not Inumaki Toge.

What Sukuna doesn't understand is that Inumaki was not using his cursed technique. If he wished, he could have easily defeated him with a few words. Currently, Sukuna simply dances around him, using the space around him to their advantage. He's sparred with you often enough to know how you move. He knows it well enough to copy in a situation like this. In fact, the only reason he's ever been able to beat you is because he can predict your movements. An opponent who'd stand against you with no knowledge of how you move, would lose in a heartbeat.

Either way, he was starting to grow bored. Smoothly avoiding punches and kicks can only be so much fun. Finally, he throws a punch back. And of course, it hits Inumaki square in the stumic, sending him flying back into the building.

Sukuna blinks in a bored manner at him. Yeah, this guy definitely wasn't familiar with him.

" You've got no idea where the little shit is, do you?"

Inumaki coughs, holding his stumic as he gets up. he's visibly sweating the situation. Sukuna shakes his head again, glancing at the mess of curses running around behind them.

" We've wasted enough time fighting. Just answer some questions of mine... please."

Sukuna hates the word please. Inumaki blinks at him, surprised, though his suspicious is confirmed. This must be the Sukuna from your universe indeed.

" Is Y/N here?"

Inumaki nods.

A new kind of feeling spreads through Sukuna's body. Hope, longing. He can't wait to see you again.

" Is she alright? Is she here?"

Inumaki shrugs his shoulders. Sukuna nods, turning to face the curses, who have slowly begun to bother citizens.

" Kay'.-"

He likes to pretend he doesn't care.

" You do you. I'll handle it here."

And just like that, he goes back to ripping through curses left and right. The display is disgusting, blood splattering everywhere. People around him seem to be uncertain whether to be terrified of him or not. However, he can't find it in himself to care.

As much as he hates it, you'll have to wait. He has to take care of these annoying, ugly creatures first.

-

Both your and Megumi's eyes simultaneously widen.

" Is that...?"

"A domain."

Both of you have arrived somewhere, you're not even sure where or why, but you're there, and that's that.

Allies of you are in there. without a doubt.  But how does one even go in there?  You've haven't reached the level or circumstance to create your own domain just yet, nor do you have the same raw strength Yuuji seems to have.

Both of you are sweating. Hard.

" Y/N. Hold onto my arm."

Megumi isn't looking at you as he speaks, his gaze focused on the ball in front of you as he approaches.

You send him a furrowed brow. However, noticing he's clapping his hands together, your eyes widen.

" You can do a domain expansion?"

He nods.

You follow his command, your hand holding his arm gently.

" yeah- since the mission under the bridge.- It's not perfect yet."

In any other situation, he might've reveled in the feeling of your hands on him. But you've got business to take care of.

Within seconds, Megumi's domain is up and running, and soon enough, he breaks through the barrier of the other domain.

" Maki!"

This domain is built up of the ocean. And even though it's made up of cursed energy that's not your own, you can still feel it.

It's is build on the power of the ocean. Of a place where you're at your most powerful.

Meanwhile Maki's eyes widen.

" Megumi!"

A little too enthusiast, the two of you had launched yourselves into the domain, sending you jumping quite a height that left you feeling a little bottomless. As someone who's natural element is water, you don't mind bottomless, usually. However, you find that you do mind the bottomless feeling when you're skyhigh, where you can see the floor coming towards you. From the corner of your eye, you can see something red and black manifest. A weapon. You understand the gist, and throw it in Maki's direction.

" Y/N. That octopus thing is the source of this domain."

You nod at Megumi.

" Don't worry, I've got your back. "

Meanwhile, the octopus thing turns towards the two of you.

" You dare voluntarily invade my domain? How foolish."

At once, he sends some kind of huge eels at you. You reach out, your own cursed energy managing to take his own in a chokehold. If it was only you right now, you'd test your limits, and see if you could take control of his domain. However, you're not alone. You have people to watch out for. So instead, you deploy your cursed technique in ways you're well aware of.

Creating the rings of water you're so fond of, you manipulate his cursed energy to your will. the cursed energy in the form of water cuts through both eels, and the two of you safely make it to the ground while Maki whacks her special grade cursed tool across the curse's back.

" What is that?"

" Cloud jumper."

You nod at Megumi's words. You've never seen that weapon before, but Maki makes good use of it, whacking him with it once again.

Meanwhile, he also sends two more creatures at you. You furrow your brows, stepping in front of Megumi protectively. Megumi opens his mouth to warn you, call you back. But he's left to watch in amazement as you manipulate the water below to cut into the first creature with ease. You turn your attention to the other one, but Nanami beats you to it, his 7:3 technique hitting yet again.

" What about the other two?"

Nanami asks, holding a protective stance in front of the two of you.

" Ino's tapped out. Itadori is acting on his own."

" I'll cover you, please focus on your domain."

You glance at him.

" Let me handle this. I can use the curse's cursed energy. "

Nanami's eyes are wide as he looks at you.

Nonetheless, you nod at him with confidence.

Nanami nods. You glance quickly at Megumi, noticing his bleeding nose. Your eyes widen in worry.

" Megumi-"

" I'm fine. Cover for me.- Nanami, the octopus thinks our domains are pushing for control. But that's not what I'm after. I'm going to create a hole. The one we entered through is already sealed. It's harder from the inside, but I can make it large enough for someone to pass through for a few seconds. The edge of this barrier is right below me. I know because I can feel it. I'm ready anytime. All three of you need to jump in at once."

Nanami throws a serious glance back at the teenager.

" The two of you are not planning on staying behind, are you?"

" I think I have a chance in taking control of this domain. I'll get Megumi and me out of here."

Megumi grins.

" We're risking our lives. But we're not planning on throwing it away."

Soon enough, Nanami is yelling  for the other two to join.

" Quick, right below Fushiguro's feet."

You focus on the curse in front of you, creating a huge circle of spinning water around you. If it were to get to close, it would cut right through it.

However, your focus falters as someone enters the domain.

Especially as you see who it is.

Fushiguro Toji.

[ A/N:  Thank you for your quick reactions, besties <3, drabbles will join after Shibuya arc.]

Home || N.K ||

Nanami Kento isn't sure how he ended up here, in this happy little kitchen.

A small content smile is settled on his face as he watches you, the love of his life, move about your shared kitchen, in your shared house.

Beside him, Gojo, who had invited himself and his first year students over at his place, was talking to him. The man was as animated as ever, and although Kento is listening, his full focus isn't in the action. Part of it is on you, like it always is.

Naturally, you and Yuuji have hit it off easily. The kid was naturally extroverted after all, and you warmed up quickly to him. You seem to get along with Nobara as well. Currently, the two of them are bantering about something, while you watch, amused. You and Megumi already know one another. You've met the very first time Megumi had been dragged to Jujutsu Tech by Gojo, and you've always been sweet to him.

Usually, Kento would join you in the kitchen. Neither of you could get along with anyone else in the confines of the kitchen space, but the two of you never had any issue, often wordlessly throwing something together to eat.

What he does know for certain, is that all of this is thanks you to you.

February, 2008

" You- what?"

Nanami Kento is staring down at you with wide eyes. You're a year below him, and your question has completely caught him off guard.

" I'm- I'm asking you on a date!"

Those were not the words you previously used Originally, you had asked for his number. You don't seem to back down, your pretty eyes blinking up at him as you eagerly wait for his answer.

Meanwhile Kento still can't comprehend it. You like him? Of all students around? Him?

Kento blinks, his mouth slightly open as he takes your words in. He's seen you around before. You were a fierce little thing. You were amazing in hand to hand combat (apparently due to your unique upbringing) and your cursed energy seemed to materialize in very real flames. You were pretty too, he finally noted. He likes your eyes, and the shape of your face, lips. The piercings in your ears were cool too.

He hadn't expected this, and it seems like he forgot to answer as you lean away from where you had been boldly leaning into his personal space, cocking your head with a pout on your lips.

" It's fine if you don't like me, you know? You don't need to feel forced to go on a date with me. It's alright if you don't want to. I can handle rejection."

" No- I- I just.. didn't expect it.- But yes, I'll go on a date with you."

He smiles slightly at you, a blush on his face. Truly, he has no idea what you're seeing in him. In his own eyes, he's much too skinny to be considered attractive enough to be boldly asked out like this. Especially by someone as pretty as you. However, he doesn't complain, blushing as he types his number in your phone.

-

The date doesn't happen. At least, not for a long time. It was supposed to happen, but then him and Haibara are sent on a mission, a few cities away.

Currently, he's sat in his room. It's been a few days since he's back, but he can't sleep. He doesn't want to close his eyes, afraid of reliving the moment over and over again.

Sighing, he gets out of bed. He doesn't feel bothered enough to change out of his pajamas. Instead, he puts on some slippers, and heads out of the dorms in favor of some fresh air.

It's late on a weekday, so he doesn't expect anyone to be awake right now.

He sighs, closing his eyes as he loses himself in the darkness of his thoughts and memories. He's seated on the steps of the dorms outside. The lower half of his face pressed into his palm, the expression on his face bothered.

" Can't sleep?"

Kento breath stutters, his hands reaching for the blade he doesn't carry with him currently.

Your eyes widen, bringing your hands up as you shake them, along with your head.

" Woah, sorry!- I'm sorry, I didn't mean to sneak up on you. I just forget that my footsteps are silent sometimes."

He releases a breath, running a hand through his hair as he looks back at the night sky.

" It's alright."

He expects you to take it as a sign to silently shuffle away. You surprise him however, sitting down beside him. Your body is close, yet not too close. A reminder that you're there. You're silent, a stark contrast to how loud he's seen you be with your classmates. The silence between the two of you is a little awkward, though for a moment, he leaves it be. You don't seem to be too bothered by it after all.

" I'm sorry I didn't reply to your messages. "

You turn to him, blinking in surprise. Now that he's seeing you again, he does feel a bit guilty about it. The two of you had been messaging for a few hours every day since you've asked him out. However, de did ignore you after things went downhill during his mission. He didn't have the energy to talk to anyone.

Slowly, your hand comes closer, and then your warm hand is on top of his cool shoulder.

" Don't worry about it. You've had more troublesome things going on after all."

Your touch is comforting. He hadn't expected it to be. You're surprisingly gentle.

He studies you for a moment. There's a kind, easy smile on your face that lets him know everything is alright.

" I'm also sorry about our date."

You shake your hand, bringing your hand in your lap again as you face the night sky.

" It's okay. We can always do that another time. I can be patient, so don't worry about it."

He glances at you, taking you in. You're caring. It's sweet.

He turns his head, also gazing at the night sky once more.

" How come your footsteps are so quiet? I've never had anyone sneak up on me before. "

You laugh softly at that, a cheeky smile on your face.

" I grew up in a temple, with other orphans. We're raised by monks. In between certain times, we wouldn't be allowed in the kitchen to eat snacks during the day. My siblings and I sneaked in anyway. I think the footsteps lasted because,, well.. a lot of practice."

You grin at the fond memory.

" I see. I didn't know you were an orphan. I'm sorry, that must be pers-"

" It's alright. I never minded it. I've been raised with a lot of love and care, so I don't really care. I think I was brought there because my mother was too young to have me. I don't really remember the details."

Your story surprises him. He had not expected that. At all. However, it does explain how you manage to get along with a lot of different people.

For a good few moments, silence overtakes the both of you again. Kento finds himself enjoying the time he's spending with you. There's no need to talk. No need to say anything in order to enjoy each other's company.

After a moment, you yawn.

" Why are you awake at this hour?"

" I got carried away while watching my series- Wanna watch a movie?"

You've turned to him, smiling widely.

" What? Where?"

" Don't get me wrong. It's not a date. This isn't the proper moment for that- but, at my dorm. My dorm room's closest to the door, so we can easily sneak you in and out."

You're grinning.

" I don't believe that's proper, Y/N."

" Awe, don't overthink it. I've done it with my siblings a lot of times too. Even when I've only known them for a few months.-"

" But I'm not one of your sibling Y/N, for all we know I might be your future husband."

That silenced you, your cheeks tinting pink. Kento has to catch himself too, clearing his throat. He opens his mouth to say something, probably to take his words back, but you're quick to speak, not allowing him to change his previous words.

" But then, does it really matter?"

Your blush intensifies, as does his own.

He doesn't know how, but nearly ten minutes later, the two of you are squeezed on your bed, your laptop open in front of you. Originally, Kento tries to keep a formal distance, but you're too close. Your touch is too comforting, and neither of you can help yourselves as you cuddle up together.

Eventually, he finally falls asleep. His sleep dreamless, finally at peace in the comfort of your arms.

The next morning, he finds himself entangled in your arms, and although he's blushing, he can't find it in himself to mind. You're still sleeping. He glances at the clock, he notices that it's now 5 am. The perfect time to sneak back towards his own dorm. However, in the warmth of your embrace,  bundled up together under the covers, he can't find the will in himself to move. Smiling softly, he presses a shy kiss to the top of your head, before returning to his comfortable position.

He'll make sure to take you on that date once he's feeling better.

Present day

He's glad to say that he's taken you out on that date, and many others. He's happy he eventually got down on one knee and asked you to marry him before either of you were even financially ready.

Kento had been certain that he'd marry you. He was proud to have called you his fiance for a long time, but much happier when he got to officially address you as his wife.

Kento loves you for every time you've stood by him, for every night you held him during those tough times, for not giving up on him when stupid arguments happened between the two of you.

Meanwhile, Gojo had stopped talking. At this point, he's just dumbly smiling at Kento, who's wrapped up in his own thoughts.

Nobara and Yuuji had stopped bantering as well. Only you and Megumi seemed to still be busy with making dinner. ( All three wanted to help, but it was really Megumi who was doing most of the work with you.)

Gojo grins, catching Yuuji's eye and signaling Kento's love eyes for his wife. Yuuji nods.

Meanwhile, Kento seems to have snapped out of it, raising a brow as he turns to face his colleague.

" Wha-"

" Woah Nanamin, you're whipped!"

summary : In which you're isekai'd from your (own) parallel Jujutsu Kaisen universe to the canon universe. (or, for this chapter, Nanami's favorite moments with you)

wordcount : 2.3k

Pairing: Jujutsu Kaisen X Reader, mostly platonic Nanami Kento x reader for this one

2016, Parallel Jujutsu Kaisen Universe

" Okay, so because the two of you have been a pain in everyone's ass- Here's Nanami Kento! Jujutsu Tech's ex-salary man!"

Gojo Satoru is much too excited as he introduces you and Sukuna to the blonde, who's raising a brow in question.

" Please don't introduce me like that. Also, they look young. Are they even students yet?"

" We may be young, but I promise you I can beat your ass."

Nanami blinks at 14 year old Sukuna. You grin from beside him.

Nanami blinks at you too.

" They're a little younger indeed, they'll be students here in 2 years. "

Gojo is still much too excited about the whole deal. Sending two fourteen year olds along with him on missions doesn't sound like a good idea.

" No. They'll just be in the way."

From the corner of Nanami's eye, he can see you pout, cocking your head.

" Well, either they go with you or they go with me. The higher ups ordered it, and there's no one else I trust with them."

Nanami raises a brow.

" Why would the higher ups order this?"

Both Sukuna and you are listening in on their conversation, and neither Gojo nor Nanami miss that.

However, just to their luck-

" Ah, Sukuna. Back here to get your ass beat?"

The teen snorts as he turns around, a smirk on his face as he smirks at Maki.

" You wish! I've been practicing. I'm sure I've gotten stronger!"

And just like that, Sukuna is tugging you along, away from the two adults who are very grateful for this coincidental moment.

" They want Y/N dead. They don't really care about Sukuna, but the two of them stick together like glue. "

Nanami glances at Gojo in surprise.

" Why? They're only children."

" Exactly. They're weak now. Easy to kill. Y/N's cursed technique renders the Kamo clan's immobile. They're powerless against her. Of course, they don't accept that. "

" I thought Y/N is from the Kamo clan?"

" She is. Hence why the higher ups are send onto them instead of any of the Kamo members. They're afraid of her parents."

Nanami nods.

He vividly remembers your mother, and has only heard rumors about your father. Not two people you want to be up against, not two people who'll allow you to get away if you'd murder their child.

Nanami thinks about it for a moment, before sighing.

" How often would I need to take them with me?"

" Once or twice a week for the summer break. They'll spend the rest of their time with Maki, Panda, the Jujutsu Tech staff members, Nitta and Ijichi."

Nanami nods.

" Alright. I'll find time. They will not be going on missions though."

-

Nanami finds himself pleasantly surprised. You're a pleasant kid to be around, mature enough to understand obvious choices. Sukuna is sadly not. The teenager is rude, annoying, and tends to only listen once he's beat up. Very annoying. Thankfully, you seem to cancel out his annoying attitude pleasantly, making your time together less of a forced hassle and much more pleasant.

Unexpectedly, he had found himself growing closer with you especially. He learned how to work with Sukuna. Now it never went as smoothly as it was when talking to you, but it was nice nonetheless.

Today is one of those very, very rare days. One he willingly chooses to spend with his colleagues.

" Turn right here."

Ijichi does as he says.

In the backseat, your face is pressed to the window. Sukuna is sat beside you, playing some Dark Dome puzzle game on his phone. (Idk if u ever did but I promise their games are awesome and fun.)

Beside him is none other than Satoru Gojo. For some reason, he has invited himself on this trip as well. Nanami figures that this must be so he can slack off more than he usually does. And although Nanami disapproves, he does accept it. You especially seemed happy when Gojo announced he'd join on your trip, and for some silly reason, Nanami finds himself much more relaxed when you're around.

" So, where are we going again? Are we there yet?"

It's Sukuna who's asking the question, eyes still on his mobile game.

Meanwhile you gasp, your eyes shining as you take in the sight in front of you.

" Nanami, is that the beach?!"

Now this seemed to catch Sukuna's attention. Finally, he saves his game and tucks his phone away, peeking over your shoulder. The two of you looking at your new surroundings with wide eyes.

Indeed, the car has driven into a dune like range, sand meddling with the road now.

Moments later, you're stepping out of the car, and you're jumping in excitement as you make your way to the ocean. Nanami is walking beside you, his jacket slung over his arm, his hands tucked in his pocket.

It's too cold to swim today, so he hadn't told you nor Sukuna nor anyone else to bring swimsuits. However, it was rare to have the time to actually come all the way here. He figured he might as well make use of it.

" The base of your cursed technique is water. I figured you'd like the ocean."

And you do. He can see it in the way your eyes twinkle, taking in the sight of you.

Behind the two of you, Sukuna and Gojo are fooling around, with Ijichi watching them with a smile. It's a relaxing, rare moment.

" I do! This feels great!"

All Nanami can do is chuckle as you approach the ocean.

You don't allow the cold water to deter you. You run straight into the water, allowing it to reach to your knees.

Sukuna chases after you, as exited as you are.

" Woah! The water is so cold- Doesn't it bother you?"

" No- Watch this!"

Focusing, you raise your palms, and soon enough, you're taking control of the water surrounding you.

Nanami is watching you with a fond smile, the breeze running through his hair as he breaths in the scent of the ocean.

" You've grown quite fond of them, haven't you? "

Nanami hums, not ashamed to admit that he has. Gojo grins at nothing in particular.

" Me too- Wait,what?"

Gojo has peeled away part of his blindfold to look at where you're stood in the water, focusing on your surroundings.

Nanami raises a brow.

" Something wrong? "

" Y/N's cursed energy- It's changing-"

Both men watch with wide eyes as you create a water hose. You seem to have fun with it too.

Sukuna, who seemingly has no fear of dying, is having fun too, completely swept up in the whirlwind of water.

Nanami face palms. He'll have to teach the two of you how to be less reckless together. For now however, he'll let you have this moment.

-

Many hours later, you're sat on the grassy field of Jujutsu Tech, waiting for your parents. Sukuna is inside the building with Gojo and Ijichi, now sneezing and probably sick thanks to the cold temperature of the water.

" Thank you for bringing us there. It was beautiful. I never felt so... free."

You're smiling at him, all happy and content.

And like always, Nanami smiles back, feeling more relaxed with you than he does with most people.

" I love the ocean myself too. It was as much fun for me as it is for you."

You grin at his words.

For a moment, a silence settles over the two of you. However, it's pleasant. Today was the last day of your summer break/Jujutsu Tech stay. After the weekend, you will be in your final year for middle school and he will go back to the routine he was used to before this summer.

" Y/N?"

You turn to him, humming.

" Yeah?"

" On the first day I watched over you and Sukuna, I told you that you didn't have the power required to be a sorcerer."

You hum, nodding.

" Yeah, I know..."

" I'd like to take that back-"

Originally, you had averted your gaze to look at the sky again, however, hearing his words, you turn back to him with wide eyes.

" -You're powerful. I truly underestimated you. You can make it. If you want to be a Jujutsu sorcerer, then you should pursue it."

Truth to be told, Nanami just knew you had the power to change things. Perhaps, if you followed Gojo a little bit, and learned what you needed to know, you'd be very well on your way.

You were meant for something great. He just knew it.

You smile at him, feeling proud you somehow managed to get a compliment like this one out of him.

" Thank you! Don't worry. I'll make sure you and so many others will have the chance to rest."

Nanami smiles back at you in return.

4 months ago, Parallel Jujutsu Kaisen Universe

" Oh, Nanami, you're here!"

Nanami glances up from the newspaper he's reading, greeting you with a smile. Opposite him, Gojo gapes at him.

" So you do know how to smile!"

Nanami pointedly ignores him like he's been doing for the past ten minutes.

" Y/N, it's nice to see you again."

You grin at his words, nodding in agreement.

" It is! I thought I'd notice your cursed energy here. Are you busy?"

" Not yet. I still have some hours left until the meeting starts. "

" Cool. I've made a sourdough starter. Wanna make bread?"

He raises a brow, not having expected that. Nonetheless, he gets up, putting the paper he had been reading to the side.

" Sure, I have time for that."

About 5 minutes later, Nanami finds himself stood in the dormitories' kitchen. He hasn't been here in a very long while.

The two of you are having fun setting the dough, measuring the ingredients to a recipe you found online and working together to make two buns of dough.

Nanami can't help but enjoy the moment. It's been a while since he made sourdough, and it's also been a while since he spent time with you.

You're one of the rare students he doesn't mind spending his free time with. Your demeanor is calm enough around him, and you're not constantly filling his head with nonsense like Gojo.

Soon enough, two balls of dough are rising under a plastic bubble wrap and a hand towel.

The two of you are chatting away peacefully in the kitchen, waiting on the dough.

Suddenly, Yuuji pops his head in the kitchen, having smelled something from a distance.

" Y/N, what're you baking- Oh, Nanamin, you're here too?"

Of course, Yuuji knows that Nanami had looked over you a few years ago, and that you hung out from time to time together in a peaceful manner.

" Good afternoon, Itadori."

" We're making bread."

" What kind?"

" Sourdough- I put moonseeds on mine."

Yuuji hums, before joining the two of you in the kitchen area, idly chatting away.

Truth to be told, Nanami is more fond of Yuuji than Sukuna. He's pleasant to be around, and a much better listener than his twin counterpart.

The last few hours are spent chatting away with both you and Yuuji, content to spend time together in the kitchen.

At the end of the day, Nanami leaves with a small loaf of bread in a plastic bag. Feeling content and happy in that rare way he rarely does.

-

Modern day, Parallel Jujutsu Kaisen Universe

" Fushiguro-"

Nanami Kento is taken by surprise as he notices the teenager, all bloodied up, like he just returned from a huge fight.

" Nanami-"

Fushiguro has to take a break from speaking, breathing in deeply. Either he rushed all the way here, or he's in pain.

" Fushiguro, go see Ieri, you loo-"

" No. I'm fine.- Y/N's not dead."

Nanami's eyes widen. He rushes the teenager to sit down, wanting to know more.

Although he's never admitted it out loud, he cares about you a lot. Not that he ever needed to admit it, everyone was already well aware of it.

Megumi sits down beside him, throwing the weapon he's holding on the table.

Sukuna's Inverted Spear of Heaven. A weapon the marked boy doesn't leave lying around.

Why did Megumi have it?

" Sukuna and I- We went looking for her. Instead, we found it. Some curse. It almost looks human- it's intelligent. It got Sukuna. I saw it from a distant. It uses some kind of golden ring to teleport them somewhere. My guess is very far away."

Nanami's taking in the information, surprised, but glad.

At least he knows you're alive. He'll be able to notify your parents and let them know.

He will bring you and Sukuna back.

One thing however, he's sure of. Nothing will be able to kill you if you and Sukuna stick together.

" Fushiguro, we need to talk to Gojo."

Chapter 14: Right and Wrong, pt. 3

summary : In which you're isekai'd from your (own) parallel Jujutsu Kaisen universe to the canon universe.

wordcount : 2.2k

Pairing: Jujutsu Kaisen X Reader, mostly platonic, you're really just part of the story

" Oh.."

You, Yuuji and Megumi's eyes are wide as Nobara spills her cup of coffee on Gojo sensei's blouse. You don't doubt that it was most probably unnecessarily expensive.

" Shoot."

" You've done it now, Kugisaki. This is Gojo sensei's, right? "

Yuuji's words are not very helpful as he holds the blouse, a sweatdrop on the side of his head as he inspects the stain.

Nobara stares down at it, seemingly thinking about what to do.

A moment later, she's drawing on the white board, some kind of explanation going on.

" On one hand, we have Ijichi, who entrusted us with this freshly dry cleaned blouse-"

You blink at her words, leaning your head down on your palm.

Where exactly was she going with this?

"- And then there's me who spilled coffee on it. Who's really at fault?"

" You."

All three of you speak at the same time, causing Nobara to pout.

" Really Y/N? I thought at least you'd have my back in this."

You give her an embarrassed smile. Usually, in any other  situation, you would. But this really was her fault. You couldn't possibly defend her from this.

" Let her be. Don't pressure her because of your mistake."

You, Yuuji and Nobara blink at Megumi in surprise.

Yes, you were aware that this universe Megumi seemed to be fond of you, but now he was even standing up for you! ( He doesn't even do that for Yuuji.)

He glances at all three of you in an annoyed manner.

" What?"

All three of you simply blink in response, not elaborating.

Moments later, all four of you are working to get the stain out of Gojo sensei's blouse.

" You gotta dab it like this. Dab. Dab."

" That's what I'm doing!"

It's not working. Roughly 20 minutes later, you're all staring at the blouse, which is positively ruined.

" Does anyone have Dasty? We might be able to get it out with that if we soak it for a bit and then throw it in the laundry again."

Yuuji blinks at your words.

" Really?"

You shrug,

" It works for most stains. I'm not a coffee drinker though so I've never had to fix a coffee stain before."

Nobara appears to not be listening, her eyes fixated on the shirt before she suddenly speaks.

" You think it could pass for a Marimekko design?"

" That would be an insult to fashion."

Nobara huffs, before turning to Megumi with a smirk.

" C'mon, I'm sure it's cheap anyway. Fushiguro, look up the brand."

You cringe.

" I wouldn't be so sure about that, Nobara."

It's kind of what you expected, but somehow even more expensive.

Megumi doesn't look surprised as he shows the price tag, seemingly unbothered by it. Nobara and Yuuji both wear grave expressions, while you bite your lip.

¥ 250,000 That's a lot of money for a blouse.

Ouch.

" A-after tax?"

" Before. Does it even matter?"

Nobara sighs, before hardening her expression.

" Fine. I'll put in ¥ 90,000. You guys can put in a little more than  ¥ 53,000 each."

" Hue?!"

You agree with Yuuji.

However, right at that moment, you hear the doors of the classroom open.

Your eyes widen, before you take the blouse and shove it in Megumi's face.

" Quick, hide it in your zip up!"

" What?! Why can't you hide it in yours?!-"

" You're taller! Gojo sensei's here already!"

To your utter surprise, he actually does it.

You didn't expect him to listen.

" Morning! Ijichi said you guys had my shirt?-"

Gojo sensei's smile slips off his face, his blindfolded gaze on Megumi.

You pretend to look innocent, while Nobara and Yuuji are working hard to hold their laughter.

" What's the matter, Megumi?"

He's shoved the blouse in his zip up so quickly, that it's caused a huge bump to form.

" It's nothing."

He looks mildly annoyed as he speaks, but he's still not pulling out the blouse just yet.

Both Yuuji and Nobara break out in laughter, and Yuuji can't explain in any other way but to pull out the blouse from Megumi's collar. Their dynamic causes you to grin. Even if Megumi is irritated by what's happening.

-

And now, Nobara is dead.

Tears are streaming down your face as you find yourself rooted to the ground, unable to move.

" Kugisaki..."

Yuuji is on the verge of panicking, of giving up, of calling it quits. And Sukuna knows.

However, he finds himself unable to move. The marked boy is stood rooted to the ground, one arm still tight around your waist. You're not calling out to him, but he knows that he's the only thing keeping you grounded right now. The only thing keeping you from collapsing completely.

He wants to help Yuuji. He knows he has to, but he fears he's powerless. The Sukuna of this universe is merciless, a true evil. In Yuuji's eyes, Itadori Sukuna is nothing but a bad reminder of the monster who lives inside him. He doesn't recognize him as the asshole brother he is.

Death rarely shakes Sukuna. It was something that has always been that way. Sukuna always seemed to have some kind of error. He didn't have the emotions other people had. He truely cared about very few people, yet didn't mind going out of his way to help another. Yuuji and you are one of the very few people whose death he would actively mourn if it were to happen.

Nobara, one of your best friend's, is dead. But this wouldn't hit Sukuna until he had proper time to sit down. And even when he did, it was a true question whether he'd mourn her.

Sukuna swallows, before softly shaking you. He's toughing up for the two of you. he doesn't know this cursed spirit, doesn't know what's going on in this universe, but if he doesn't step up, Yuuji will get his ass beat and you'll be stuck in your head in a cycle.

There's no time for that.

Sukuna's eyes widen as the curse, Mahito, closes in, it's focus on Yuuji and Yuuji alone.

" Y/N."

He continues shaking you, trying to catch your attention. You blink through your tears, trying to regain your attention.

Yuuji gets hit with black flash by the curse. Sukuna shakes you more feverishly, trying to wake you from your numbness.

You finally snap back to Sukuna when Yuuji gets thrown into a wall.

" I need Light Fury."

Your eyes are wide, taking in the scene, taking in what's happening.

" He needs you.."

You're back, fully aware again, finally out of your shocked state.

Sukuna shakes his head, his hold on you loosening, before his arm fully slips off you.

He sighs as he faces you, wiping your tears with his thumb.

Sukuna's neutral expression was intimidating, but you have always been able to see through the way he carries himself, has always seen him as him.

And Sukuna knows he could never bring himself to be mean to you when you're crying like this.

Leaning down, he presses a short kiss to your forehead.

" I know. We can't allow their deaths to be in vain. Get me Light Fury, sweetheart. Focus on healing nobara as far as you can. I refuse to believe she dies easy."

You nod, glancing up at him. You're so glad he's here. So glad he's come to save you. So glad you're not alone in this mean universe.

You reach out beside you, focusing on your reverse cursed energy. Some kind of portal opens up behind you, the hilt of a white katana visible. Just like Megumi's shadow follows him everywhere, water is in the very air surrounding you as well. Light Fury is a weapon capable of killing special grade curses. It's loaded on reverse cursed energy. It was originally a regular weapon before Yuta brought it to you with the idea.

Sukuna rips it out of the small portal, allowing it's energy to attract Mahito's attention.

The two of you split up. You take a deep breath before focusing, drawing your ring of water with every last drop you can physically find around you as you drop to your knees besides Nobara's body.

Sukuna was right. Your best friend is tough, You couldn't accept her death just like this. She was too stubborn for that.

You focus, really focus, finally. Your eyes close as you focus on her vitals, on keeping her alive, or forcefully keeping her body going.

Meanwhile, Sukuna joins the fight.

Mahito seems impressed, avoiding Sukuna's newfound blade with an interested expression in it's eyes.

" Oooeh, you wanna join in on the fun? Found a new toy?"

Sukuna doesn't react, his eyes sharp on Mahito as he calls out to Yuuji.

" Yuuji. Get up. Stop crying. We need you. We don't have time for that."

Sukuna could never be soft with Yuuji. Not during training, and not while they might be fighting to their deaths either.

Yuuji shakes his head. He's completely given up. Completely gone. Sukuna would be one of the last people who can save him.

" You should leave. You and Y/N both. I already almost accidentally killed her. This isn't your universe. Go home."

Sukuna rolls his eyes in annoyance, a vein popping in his head. Did he really have to act all depressed now?  (  Yes, Sukuna, was nowhere near soft on Yuuji. Ever.)

he doesn't need to fight Mahito long. Within seconds, he's suddenly moved to a completely different spot, his place taken by what appears to be a loose rock.

He only knows one asshole with that technique. Todo.

Meanwhile your nose has started bleeding. You're really demanding a lot from your body today, demanding a lot from both your curse energy and reversed curse energy. At this point, you're fighting to stay awake.

You're exhausted. You don't even know if Nobara is dead or alive anymore. You're fully focusing on healing her, even if it proves to be aimless. You've reached a point where your head hurts, your energy is reaching it's limits, and you can't feel her vitals.

" I- Are you okay?"

Nitta Arata is both amazed and terrified. You're surrounded by reverse cursed energy, as is Nobara's body.

His call to you makes you blink. Your vision is already hazy.

" Huh?  Who are you?"

" My name is Nitta Arata. I'm here to help. My technique can stop injuries from getting worse.-"

Nitta stops talking as you collapse. The ring of water is completely gone, dissipated in Nobara's skin and the air surrounding you. Nitta watches it happen with wide eyes before rushing over. He treats you first, before deciding to apply his technique to Nobara as well. He doubts she's alive, but you had been too focused to not do that. Nitta glances at you one last time before leaving.

That was without doubt the most powerful reverse cursed technique he's seen in his entire life.

Moments later, he arrives at Todo's side.

" I've finished treating the girls over there. One's probably dead though."

Sukuna's eyes widen as Light Fury dissipates.

Had you collapsed?

Todo opens his mouth as he takes a good look at Sukuna, and behind him Nitta tenses up as well.

" I'm from Y/N's universe. I'm not going to bother explaining. We have shit to do, get to work."

Sukuna's eyes are sharp as he passes by Todo, their heights matching.

Todo can feel this Sukuna is not a threat. He has no cursed energy after all. He respects him as he passes by. Sukuna's brown eyes flit over Nitta hotly for a second, but he doesn't say anything. Moments later, he finds you, seemingly sound asleep near Nobara's side.

He huffs, leaning down and picking you up with ease. He notes the blood that seemed to have run down from your nose. You must have gone beyond your limit.

" Always getting into fucking trouble. Now I have to go find a stupid nasty Shibuya river again."

He grumbles, complaining to himself as he carries you out of the metro station, taking one last look at Nobara before sighing.

He doesn't want to leave her body behind, but he has no choice.

He glances down at your sleeping form in his arms, before shaking his head, and finding his way outside.

" So much trouble for such a little shit."

Yuuji is better off in Todo's hands.

In which the first years find out you're engaged, and to whom.

Arranged marriage au.

In which you meet for the first time.

In Which The First Years Find Out You're Engaged, And To Whom.

" You're already engaged?!"

Nobara Kugisaki's mouth is wide open as she grabs your hand, studying the ring that fits you taste.

You smile at her reaction as you nod, allowing her to look at it.

Today, you, along with the other second years, are training the first years, as Gojo was sent off to a mission.

Currently, everyone was seated on the lush ground.

Nobara can't see it, but from opposite you, Toge grins, his blush and expression hidden behind his high collar.

" Why? You're so young! He must be amazing if he managed to pull you!"

You blush at her words.

" Thanks. It started out as an arranged marriage actually."

" What?- Wait so you don't love him? Do we need to help you get rid of him and escape?"

Nobara is serious, and you can't help but snort.

" Ah, don't worry-"

Your gaze shies away, the hand she's holding pulling away as you pluck at the grass below you. You blush as you continue to speak.

" We might've started out arranged, but we've fallen for each other along the line."

Nobara blinks, taken by surprise.

" How long have you known each other?"

" Since halfway through middle school. We were introduced with the announcement of our marriage."

" I see. When are you getting married?- Oh, I'm invited too, right? Do you need a maid of honor?"

You smile at her enthusiasm.

" We're set to marry once we graduate. And of course you're invited. Maki's already my maid of honor though."

From beside you, Maki smiles.

Meanwhile Nobara's eyes widen in realization.

" Once you both graduate? Your family is a Jujutsu clan right?!-"

" Are you going to marry Panda?"

Everyone turns to Yuuji with an obvious questioning expression in their eyes.

From beside him, Megumi smacks him upside the head.

" No, idiot. She's engaged to Inumaki."

Yuuji whines as he holds his head.

" That was my second guess."

Nobara blinks between the two of you. Opposite you, Inumaki gets up, moving over to plop down closely besides you. You smile as he does so, leaning over to press a kiss to his cheek in greeting.

This time, everyone notices the blush on his cheeks.

" No way! You?!"

You're not sure if that's a negative or positive reaction.

" Salmon."

" Is there something wrong?"

Nobara hurriedly shakes her head.

" No, I just didn't know. I'm surprised. I've rarely seen you two sit beside one another in class, or spar together, or do anything together except for eating lunch side by side, so- and how do you even communicate?"

You grin at her. From behind his pulled up collar, Inumaki does the same.

" We've been dating since before Jujutsu Tech. We know each other well and respect each other's space. Besides, our class is small, and we already hang out a lot outside of class as well. Besides, once you're together for long enough, you kind of just know how to communicate without communicating, you get me?"

Nobara's looking at you with wide eyes, obviously intrigued by this newfound information.

" So you're basically already married?"

You and Toge exchange looks, the both of you shrugging.

He picks up your hand which was resting on the ground, holding it in his lap as he messes with the engagement ring he willingly got you. Just like every clan marriage, it was mostly meant for on the papers. To continue the bloodline eventually. He had never been given a ring to give you, and you never asked for one.

Nonetheless, he's happy he did, proud to show you off and already be able to call you his.

" Almost."

In Which The First Years Find Out You're Engaged, And To Whom.

[A/N: Lowkey crave a full blown story for Inumaki in an arranged marriage au tbh.]

Blood Bound

Summary : In which you find Suguru, and Suguru saves you

Wordcount : 6.6k

Genre: Angst, fluff (kinda), slowburn

Pairing: Suguru X Reader

Masterlist

Blood Bound

❗️ This story contains gore. I will be describing wounds and blood in detail.

Gojo Satoru's eyes narrow as his teacher, Yaga  finishes speaking.

A new student?

" Why so suddenly? We're already halfway through the year. Just send them to Kyoto. Or with the first years."

Yaga sighs, pinching his brow.

" Satoru. It's already been decided that she will enroll in this school. Don't be fussy about it."

Besides him, Suguru sends him a soft smile.

" Don't worry, Satoru. She might be fun to hang out with. Besides, another girl would be nice for Shoko too. Right Shoko?"

The gorgeous black haired male turns to her, and she nods.

" I guess so."

She didn't really care either way.

Sighing, Yaga finally calls for you, the mysterious new student who enters the second year class halfway through the year.

You look... bored. Unimpressed, your eyes barely scanning the room.

" L/N Y/N."

You don't introduce yourself further than that.

So much for 'fun'.

-

" So, what's so special about you? "

Currently, Yaga has left the classroom, finally allowing your three new classmates to turn to you and poke you with their questions.

You raise a brow at the strange white haired kid.

" Nothing... I think..? Why? Was there supposed to be something special about me?"

It's like you're in a bubble, unwilling to get to know him, unwilling to let him in. Satoru decides that he'll poke that bubble until it pops.

" Not by default. It's more that we're curious. You did enter halfway through the year after all."

Suguru's gentle eyes connect to your questioning ones.

You blink.

" Oh. Well, I'm not special. Sorry to disappoint."

Your words hold no depth, and Suguru notices the small grin (or is that a smirk?) That edges itself onto your face. You rub your finger under your nose, wiling away the ghost of whatever it may have been from your lips.

Everyone's eyes draw to the bandages wrapped around your wrist, disappearing under your sleeve.

" How'd you get that?"

You glance down at it.

" Oh, that. It's a.. consequence. Of my cursed technique. "

Both boys blink at one another, not understanding what that is supposed to mean.

Meanwhile Shoko gently takes your arm. You allow her to bunch up your sleeve, revealing your lower arm wrapped in bandages.

She pouts at the sight, noting the trail of blood that has lightly stained through the bandages.

" They're in need of replacement though. I'm not really good with cursed energy, but I am very good at reverse cursed energy. I can heal it if you want?"

She smiles softly at you, and you return her expression. She's sweet. You note. You'll get along with her just fine. The black haired guy too.

The white haired dude on the other hand?

" So what grade are you? I bet you're a grade 4."

You raise a brow in question.

" 'grade'?"

All three students blink at you.

" Do you know how the grading system works, L/N?"

Suguru's voice is gentle.

" How are you accepted this far into the year as second year student when you don't even know how that works?"

Satoru's voice is not.

You shrug.

" I know the basics of curses and cursed energy and techniques. I never really cared about the rest."

" Ah, well, grades are a way to rank both curses and sorcerers. Satoru and I are special grade-"

" We're the strongest!-"

" -4 grade is the lowest, and between that there's also grade 3,2 and 1."

You nod, following his words.

" Can I see your student ID? "

You nod, handing the plastic card over to Shoko.

Her eyes widen as she notices the grade you're labeled at.

" Woah..."

" Huh?"

Now both Suguru and Satoru get curious too. They lean over her shoulder, glancing at the words on the card.

Right below your school year, it says:

Special Grade.

" No way!"

Both Suguru and Shoko glance up at Satoru's outburst.

" Three special grades in one year. That's something."

Shoko's mumbling to herself, while Suguru smiles kindly at you, visibly also surprised.

Although you do understand the general meaning  you don't necessarily understand the commotion.

These two were special grade too after all.

" Special grade sorcerers are rare, L/N. Along with you, there's currently a total of four special grade sorcerers."

You hum, nodding slowly.

To put it quite blunt, you don't really care.

Meanwhile Satoru is still visibly displeased, wiping your student ID and continuously rubbing over the letters that spell out special grade, hoping the words will for some reason magically change.

" What's your cursed technique?"

" Blood Shikigami."

Satoru stops what he's doing, his eyes wide below his sunglasses as he looks at you. Suguru visibly stills too, shocked as well. Shoko blinks lazily.

" What's 'Blood Shikigami'?"

" What the name implies. I can create Shikigami with my blood."

" Oh. I thought it would be more complicated. So it's like the Ten Shadows then?"

You shrug, thinking for a moment. You've heard of the Ten Shadows. You suppose it's somewhat slightly the same.

" Yes and no. The Ten Shadows has more limitations. Blood Shikigami does not."

Suguru is still surprised by your reveal of it. To think that there's such a powerful sorcerer in this age...

" Why doesn't it have a fancy name? Considering the technique is so fancy?"

Shoko still has no idea exactly how powerful your technique is.

She looks at you for an answer, but you shrug.

" I don't know much about it. I only knows how it works because I can use it."

" It's a rare ability. It hasn't been seen in over 1200 years, if I'm correct. It never got an official name because sorcerers refer to it as a forbidden cursed technique."

Well, Suguru did his homework.

You roll your eyes.

" You've been fed nonsense. Don't be so dramatic over it. It's just another cursed technique."

Shoko smiles at your words, before turning to Satoru, who's suspiciously still quiet.

" Does that mean she has a fair chance to beat you? Considering your cursed technique is all rare too and stuff?"

Satoru scoffs, grinning.

" Maybe if she properly knows how to wield it."

You give him a lazy lopsided grin in return.

-

The mission of today was simple.

Exorcise the special grade cursed spirit.

Typically, this was a mission for Satoru and Suguru. However, considering Yaga wanted to know just how good you were at Jujutsu, you've been forced to tag along, currently walking a few steps behind the both of them with your hands in your pocket.

You're kind of pouting.

If only Shoko was here. She was much more fun.

Suguru was nice. But you swear that you might accidentally land your fist on Satoru's annoying face one day.

" Yah! Keep up. I don't wanna have to drag your dead body back to Yaga sensei."

You roll your eyes, though you do jog a few steps to walk besides Suguru.

" You won't have to. The two of you are the strongest, right? That means that there's no reason for me to be concerned."

Suguru turns to you.

" Well, you're a special grade too, L/N. For all we know, you might join our rank as the strongest soon as well."

You shrug.

" Doubt it. I've never worked with other Jujutsu sorcerers before, so I don't think I'm that good at what I do."

Suguru raises a brow.

" You've been exorcising curses solo?"

You're not from a small city. You've mentioned before that you're from the sketchy outskirts of Fukuoka. The curses there must've been quite a deal too.

" Well, we never know."

" I bet L/N is weak. Either way, we're about to find out. "

Satoru's smirking, eyes on the curse that's starting to take shape.

A dragon. It looks like a dragon. It's huge, white, with huge yellow eyes.

And as you expected, it's eyes are right on you.

It screams as it lunges, not leaving any room for argument.

You huff in annoyance, while both Suguru and Satoru their eyes widen.

" Y/N!-"

You've avoided it's lunge. You're incredibly fast. Faster then Satoru even. It's exactly like Suguru thought: Your physical skill might surpass theirs.

" I bet you just got lucky!"

Satoru's being mean, like always.

Suguru huffs in annoyance in response to his best friend.

" Shut up, Satoru."

If you somehow died, they would be blamed after all.

Next in it's line of vision was Suguru, who's ready to summon one of his many curses. He'd like to weaken it so he can take it in. It's a powerful curse after all.

However, he gets ignored, in favor of it's attention returning to you.

Suguru's eyes widen. This was new. What was this all about?

Satoru's brows furrow as well.

Meanwhile you keep running, heading straight towards Satoru, who gets ready.

" Blue."

He launches the ball right as you run past him.

Of course, the curse cannot come through limitless, and thanks to Satoru's attack, it gets send flying.

You watch it happen with wide eyes. They weren't kidding when they said they were strong. You'd ask about their cursed technique, but that'd be useless considering you have 0 knowledge about other techniques just yet.

All three of you watch as the curse screeches, and gets up, seemingly unharmed.

" Satoru! Y/N! Don't excursive it. I want to absorb it."

You send him an incredulous look as he walks over to you and Satoru.

" absorb it? Like make it into a balm and massage it into your skin?"

Satoru snorts.

" He uses Curse Manipulation, darling."

" Right. I still don't know what that is."

" I really don't understand how you're accepted as a second year student when you don't know anything."

" Me neither."

" Can the two of you argue later? It's getting back up!"

Just like Suguru says, the dragon like curse is getting up, and charging at you once again.

" Why does it want you so bad?"

" I don't know!"

With a huff, you rip off one of your bandages, uncurling it from your arm.

Both Suguru and Satoru their eyes widen. Your arm is littered in scars. Your bandages were double serving too. At once, a heavy amount of cursed energy is released. This is when only one arm is uncovered and revealed, making the two of them wonder just how much cursed energy you have.

Noticing that both dudes are still unmoving, you scoff, taking out a small pocket knife and slicing your arm right open without any hesitance.

At once, blood gushes out of the wound, leaking onto the floor.

" Karkinos!"

Both guys watch in amazement as your blood starts to smoke, and soon enough, a huge, spidercrab like creature emerges from it, violent blood red in colour.

" Squash it!"

The Shikigami obeys your command, one of it's strong, huge claws taking hold of the dragon like curse. The curse screeches in response, turning and focusing it's attention on the huge crab like Shikigami.

Your Shikigami releases a low rumble, before plummeting the curse into the floor. With it's multiple limbs, it stomps down on the curse harshly.

You huff out, pressing down on your injured arm and closing your eyes for a moment before turning to face Suguru and Satoru.

" How weak do you need it?"

Both men are speechless, watching the powerful Shikigami fight the beast. Suguru looks impressed, his eyes wide open and his mouth slightly ajar. Satoru however?-

" And what's with your face?"

He looks stupid. His mouth is open all the way, showing off his teeth. You wonder what his issue is.

" I- This'll be just fine."

Finally, Suguru walks over, ready take control over the curse.

You wave your Shikigami away, and it steps back, one of it's claws still tight around the dragon curse's throat.

You watch as Suguru merely raises his hand, the curse reforming into some kind of ball. You take it as your que to release your Shikigami, allowing it to fall in a puddle of blood to the ground.

Meanwhile Satoru joins you, his eyes hidden behind his sunglasses as he looks at you.

You don't notice the way he shifts his vision to your injured arm, blood still dribbling down from the open wound at a concerning pace.

" We should head back. You'll bleed out if you keep that wound open like that."

You shake your head, watching as Suguru makes a face at the orb in his hand.

" I'm fine- Is he going to swallow that?"

You're visibly disgusted, and Satoru snorts.

" Yeah he is. He hates it when we watch though. Come, stay close to me. I'll call Yaga sensei to come pick us up."

With that, he turns and starts walking towards the nearby parking lot. You send Suguru one curious/disgusted look before following after Satoru, your hand pressing down on your bleeding arm.

" Why would I need to stick close to you? I can handle myself."

" Y/N, sweetheart, I'm delighted to break it to you, but you have a gaping wound on your arm. You might have the cursed energy to summon another Shikigami, but you lack the blood currently. In other words, you're harmless, and useless, weak even."

He's smirking at you, leaning his glasses down so he can send you a cheeky smirk.

" Jokes on you. I can still summon any Shikigami I want. Besides, my blood is toxic. If I throw it on you, your skin will burn."

Satoru raises a brow.

" You'll have to be able to touch me for that though."

-

" You're capable of reverse cursed technique."

You blink at Shoko. She's mentioned reverse cursed technique multiple times, but in all honesty, you still have no idea what it's all about.

" Hueh?"

Shoko shakes her head.

" Reverse cursed technique is the ability to heal yourself, and in some rare cases, others, like me, can heal other people using reverse cursed technique. It's not very common. Most sorcerers can't do that."

Satoru's glaring at you. He's not sure why he's suddenly agitated by the reveal of information. He couldn't possibly been jealous that you seem to be able to do something subconsciously he has been training his whole life for, right?

" It's starting to sound like she's joining the two of us, Satoru."

Suguru's words makes Satoru's eye twitch.

No. Just no. There's no way that he and Suguru had to at least work years before even being taken serious, before being called the strongest. He doesn't want you to join that rank within a few days.

" Tch. She just got lucky."

Suguru sighs softly, shaking his head. He should've expected the reaction.

You raise a brow, grinning at him.

" Scared that I'll be knocking you off your throne, 'strongest'?"

He scoffs, grinning back as he leaves the room.

" You wish."

-

2 months later

" I'm here to save you, Utahime."

You glance at the poor girl under the rubble, watching in mild interest as she struggles to free herself while arguing with Gojo. You shift the lollipop in your mouth, turning to Shoko.

" So, does he have a crush on her or...?"

" No. He just likes to bully her cause' she's weaker than him."

You hum.

She faces you sideways with a grin.

" Why, you jealous?"

You snort.

" If it was Suguru, maybe. But Gojo? Nah.- Who's that?"

Shoko blinks at you, amused, as she puts a cigarette stick in her mouth.

" Geto? I didn't know you had a crush on him. And that's Mei Mei."

You shake your head as you continue to walk.

" I'm not good with feelings. I don't do crushes.... He's interesting though."

Shoko hums, smiling as the man in question enters the scene, casually approaching the four students as his curse attacks the curse that would nearly have killed the girl named Utahime.

" Satoru, it's not nice to pick on the weak."

" What kind of idiot picks on the strong?"

" You're the one who's fanning the flame like it comes naturally, Geto."

You watch them bicker, amused as you suck on your lolly pop.

" We should check up on Utahime. It's sad they're bullying her like this."

Shoko muses, before walking a tad bit ahead of you as she approaches the group, stopping a few paces beside Gojo.

" Utahime!, are you okay?-"

" Shoko!-"

You've never seen anyone approach anyone else quite as quick as Utahime approaching Shoko, seemingly glad she's here.

" -I was worried about you. We hadn't heard from you for two whole days."

" Shokoo!"

Utahime throws herself on Shoko by the time you've approached the group.

" Shoko! Don't let yourself turn out like those two!- Oh, are you the exchange student I heard about?"

Utahime has pulled away a bit from Shoko to glance over at you, her behavior shifting to something more friendly.

You smile, your demeanor as laid back as ever as you take the lollipop out of your mouth,  oblivious to the way Suguru's eyes follow the movement of your lips as you do so.

" Yes. I'm L/N Y/N, nice to meet you."

You bow your head, greeting her somewhat formally. She grins, unwrapping one arm from Shoko to wrap it around you instead. Your eyes widen, surprise evident on your features as you grow slightly uncomfortable.

" Oh thank goodness! You're not like those two! Please don't ever turn out like that either."

Shoko smiles from beside her.

" Don't worry Utahime, we won't turn into trash like them."

You smile at Utahime as you peel her arm off you, creating space as you take a step away from her, popping your lollipop back into your mouth.

Meanwhile, the Trash (Satoru) is calling out to his one and only (Suguru).

" The path Utahime is walking on is falling apart!"

Suguru is vibing, seemingly enjoying life as he waddles along the path he's walking on.

" Shut up!"

You blink at the conversation that follows. Apparently, Utahime and Mei Mei had been on this mission for two days, and Mei Mei was looking forward to getting paid extra. ( You didn't know the world of Jujutsu worked that way?) Meanwhile Suguru is casually waddling up beside you into the conversation.

" -That aside, what about the veil, you four?"

Mei Mei is smiling, Utahime looks concerned, while your classmates look sheepish.

" I don't know how to do a veil yet."

Mei Mei blinks at you.

-

" One of you four said they would cast the veil themselves and left your assistant supervisor behind, didn't you? And then forgot about the veil. Who did it?"

Everyone looks sheepish. You're just blinking, not sure if you should rat Satoru out. Suguru and Shoko don't hesitate, both their fingers pointed towards him, which causes you to blink again.

You're not very familiar with having friends yet, admittedly.

Satoru raises his hand.

" Sensei! Why don't we stop this hunt for the culprit?!"

" So it was you, Satoru."

He receives a good punch.

You snort.

-

" Is a veil even necessary? Does it even matter if the normies see us? It's not like they can see curses or cursed techniques anyway."

You and your classmates are in the basketball court of the school. You and Shoko are seated on the floor, while the other two are messing around with a basketball.

You're leaning your head on your hand, which is propped up on your folded legs. Perks of wearing pants instead of a skirt, by your own request. You're switching glances between Shoko, who looks stupid as she looks around in his glasses, and Satoru, who's speaking.

" How do I look?"

Shoko looks absolutely ridiculous, her mouth formed in an 'o' shape while her eyes are hidden by Satoru's glasses as she looks around her.

" Pretty stupid. But not ugly. Cute, in a way, I guess."

You shrug, shifting so your arms lean behind you.

" Of course it matters. The primary factor preventing an outbreak of curses is the citizens'peace of mind.-"

Shoko pouts at you.

" They're about to fight."

She informs you as she gets up, returning the glasses to Satoru and placing them on his head.

" -That's why we have to conceal the threats they can't see as far as possible. And that's not all-"

" -Yeah, I get it, I get it."

Satoru takes the ball from Suguru, cutting him off and dribbling to the basket, scoring a point.

" Looking out for the weak is a pain in the ass, honestly. Don't you think so, Y/N?  For you especially, considering your cursed technique."

You shrug, unfolding your legs as you stretch them in front of you.

" It's whatever in my opinion. I don't really care."

" Survival of the weakest. That's the ideal form society should take. Help the weak and keep the strong in check. Listen to me, Satoru, Y/N. Jujutsu sorcerers exist to protect nonsorcerers."

You blink lazily. Was this really where this conversation was headed to?

" look at you, acting all righteous. I hate that stuff."

" What?"

Suguru glances sharply at Satoru, whilst the ball, which had just missed the goal, rolls towards Satoru.

" Assigning responsibilities to the strong in the name of some cause is what weak people do."

He throws the ball. You're not surprised he scores a point yet again.

" Get off your high horse and quit spouting that feel good bullshit. Bleuugh."

Just to add to his dramatics, he makes a throwing up motion.

You raise a brow, gaining interest. Were they really about to fight? You want to see that happen.

" I'm outta here."

You glance at Shoko as she sprints away.

" Why don't we take this outside, Satoru?"

Behind Suguru, his realm of curses opens up.

" You feeling lonely?  Go by yourself."

Satoru's glancing at him, lowering his glasses and staring at him sensually.

Suguru glances to the side, noting your amused face.

" Fancy taking a side, Y/N? "

You grin, getting up and walking over, beginning to peel away your bandages,

" Not necessarily. I'm game for a good fight though."

Just as the three of you are staring each other down, the sliding door slides open.

Simultaneously, Satoru and Suguru both start stretching, while you turn to glance at who just came in, one of your hands still on the edge of the bandage.

Yaga doesn't seem all too surprised as he catches the three of you staring each other down for a second.

" How long are you going to keep fooling around? And where's Shoko?"

" Who knows"

" Maybe the bathroom?"

Both are blinking innocently, while you blink blankly at your teacher. He huffs at all three of you.

" Whatever. I'm going to have the two of you on a mission."

You glance at your classmates.

Both huff, leaning away from one another.

" What's with the faces?"

They answer in unision.

" Nothing."

Yaga chooses not to react further than that, now glancing at you.

" L/N, report to Watanabe sensei, he has a mission for you."

Both Satoru and Suguru glance at one another.

" Are you sending her alone?"

" It's not my choice. The higher ups have decided she can handle missions alone, seeing as she's handled First grade curses by herself already in Fukuoka."

Satoru glances at you.

" Was that huge crab the only Shikigami you can summon?"

You shake your head,

" No."

You disappear for an entire year, completely off the radar.

Both Suguru and Satoru are worried, but there's not much either of them can do.

Suguru spirals, while Satoru grows stronger.

He becomes 'The Strongest'.

You're gone.

Suguru is left alone.

The higher ups have already jotted you down as dead.

Both are surprised to find out that there's no one to inform. No worried parent or sibling.

You've always kept mostly to yourself. Always kept the most neutral position.

Both refuse to believe you're dead.

It's simply not possible.

Given, they only spent a few months with you, but still. you had been a rightful danger on your own.

Suguru has already been unable to sleep for a long time now, but tonight especially so. He can feel that something is coming, even from all the way in his dorm room.

Eventually, he stops tossing and turning, getting up, putting on some extra layers and heading outside.

Maybe smoking will help clear his head.

Once outside, he notes an odd presence. Putting his cigarettes away, he heads towards the entrance of the school grounds.

Once there, he finds Satoru there too, his eyes wide as he looks into the distance.

'Ah, so he even goes to check things out by himself now.'

Suguru can't help but think bitterly.

There was a time Satoru used to wake him up in the middle of the night for something as simple as eating cake.

" You feel it too?"

Satoru's speechless, for once in his life.

" Suguru, it's- it's-"

Suguru's eyes widen as a shadow comes into view, followed by another creature.

It's you. There's no mistake in that. If your form wasn't enough to prove so, then the blood red Shikigami following you is. It resembles a horse, somewhat. It's partially made up of skeleton too. It's a terrifying sight to behold.

You don't even make it inside the entrance, falling to the floor as you throw the objects in your hands to the ground.

Neither of them bother to pick it up as they rush over to you, however, before they can reach you, your Shikigami steps in front of you protectively, holding an offending stance.

You're still conscious.

Seeing you up close now, you're covered in blood. you're in an absolute horrible shape. Pale, thin, weak.

Suguru realizes he hates this look on you.

You sputter, coughing up more blood as you get up.

You've always had an ominous aura to you, but the potential of your cursed energy was at the moment absolutely terrifying.

Suguru is quick to turn to Satoru.

" Wake Shoko."

Speechless, the white haired teen does just that, picking up the objects you've dropped along the way so you don't need to worry about that. Suguru tries approaching you once again.

" Y/N, dismiss the Shikigami. I can't come closer than this while it's active- It's not allowing me to."

You're dazed, going in and out of consciousness every few seconds. Left with absolutely no resolve, you nod. Barely a second later, your Shikigami dissolves, your blood pooling on the ground. Suguru rushes over to you, scooping you up in his arms and running off, following Satoru.

Your blood seeps through his clothes at a worrisome pace.

He glances down at you worriedly.

" Hold on, Y/n."

-

You've been out for a few weeks now. Shoko tends to you for a few hours a day, making sure your health is adjusting well.

It turned out out that your blood was poisonous. Shoko had her hands full as she treated both you, and Suguru who had gotten injured by your blood which had been seeping through your clothes. Thankfully, it didn't take long for him to heal, thanks to Shoko's help. Within a few days, he was all healed again.

Currently, he was switching the flowers of your vase. He did so every week. He'd venture into the forest to clear his mind, notice the red flowers that reminded him of you, pluck a few and then bring them to you.

He's still stuck in mind. Still spiraling. And he's slowly getting somewhere. Where? He doesn't know.

He's starting to refer to non sorcerers as monkeys now.

" Damn, you look like shit."

Suguru's eyes widen as he turns around.

Sure enough, you're awake. You look no better than him. Perhaps even worse.

" You don't look much better than I do though."

You shrug. The movement must hurt, but you don't show him.

You raise your arms, noting the bandages, now clean for once, in place.

He takes the seat beside your bed.

" Where have you been? You had us worried sick."

You huff, closing your eyes as you lean on your side.

" Collecting those godforsaken fingers."

Suguru's eyes widen.

" Sukuna's fingers?"

You nod.

" Four popped up. So I got all four of them. Then I got stuck on a curse user cult who wanted to use the fingers. I ended up murdering all of them. Then I panicked, so I decided to disappear.. But everywhere those fingers go, curses pop up. So I decided 'well, fuck that' and decided to drop them here, finally. I'll figure out how to deal with the higher ups later."

Suguru's mouth thins into a line.

You had been used as a pawn. They were trying to kill you without doubt. He's somewhat proud to say they failed.

Nonetheless, he can't help but realize something.

Was this the path they were meant to follow? Were all his comrades and friends going to end up dead? All because those damn monkeys can't control their cursed energy?

He leans over, brushing a loose strand of your hair which had fallen in your face. He brushes the thought away. For now. Your eyes, which had been closed, open again. You hadn't expected that.

" Perhaps Satoru can help in dealing with the higher ups. He's become the strongest. They can't move against him"

You raise a brow in question.

He explains what happened on his own mission last year. It's nice to confide in you. It feels safe. He's noticed that you always seemed to be a steady neutral.

" I see. I'm sorry you went through that.. And that poor girl."

You're looking blankly at the ceiling, genuinely feeling sorry for the girl.

He glances at you.

" Y/N, You're always so neutral in things. Why is that? Why do you feel sorry for me after all you have been through?"

Suguru has no idea of your story before Jujutsu Tech apart from what he's been told. But judging by the sight of your many scars, there was no doubt that you had quite a story to you.

You sigh, your eyes studying him.

" That's a story for another time..."

With that, you flop on your belly, enjoying the press of the mattress against your body.

-

He ends up visiting you a lot, and spending a lot of time with you altogether.

You grow more comfortable around him as well, often reaching out for him, though you've still been keeping your opinions to yourself.

Currently, Suguru was stood at the entrance of the garage of Jujutsu Tech, watching Tsukumo Yuki ride off.

He notices the shadow that seems to approach, and the flash of bandaged wrists as you switch your plastic bag from one hand to the other.

" Y/N?  Are you even supposed to be out of bed?"

You shrug as you approach him. Once close enough, he gently pulls the hood that's covering your face off your head, now able to stare into your eyes again.

Even in the turmoil of his own feelings, he's somehow made space for you. He finds himself looking forward to see you, reaching out to gently touch you, and often basking in your companionship.

He doesn't know, but you feel the same. Your past has forced you to toughen up, and you had been alone for a very, very long time. You were grateful to spent a lot of time with Suguru.

" Dunno. Wanted snacks. I got some for you and Satoru too."

Satoru has been spending time with you too, but much less. He's always busy. Always sent off somewhere to deal with something.

You pity him. But no one knows that.

Suguru smiles weakly at you. He hadn't smiled like you remembered for a very long time, but you rarely comment on it. Not today either.

" That was Tsukumo Yuki."

" The other special grade sorcerer?"

He hums, gently taking the bag from you. You're healing. You shouldn't even be out walking right now, so why let you carry stuff you so stubbornly got yourself?

" What'd she say?"

" She wishes she could've spoken to you and Satoru too. She might come by soon.. Among other things."

you raise a brow, noting the chance in his tone.

" What other things?

" Did you know curses come from non curse users?"

" No. I didn't... Why?"

" She spoke of ending the fight by the cause. "

"... By the non sorcerers?"

You're catching onto what he's suggesting, evidently.

" .... What if we... say.... kill every non sorcerer. It would end the curses. There would be no need to do this anymore."

Your expression is neutral as you slowly nod.

Suguru sighs. He stops walking, turning to face you fully.

" Why do you never speak your opinion?"

You blink at him, once.

" I think Blood Shikigami might be a technique that's hiding away in more people."

Suguru's brows raise in confusion. Where did this suddenly come from?

" The signs don't show. A Blood Shikigami user isn't born with pretty blue eyes, and can't create hand motions to summon their Shikigami. Our Shikigami are different too, depending per person. As a child, I was invested in folklore. Hence why my Shikigami look like folklore...."

You glance nervously, but he's patient, waiting for you to continue your story.

" I was born in a happy family. We weren't rich, but we were well off. One day, thieves broke in. The scene was quick to turn bloody. I don't remember how old I was. I think 8. I was scared. And I got injured. I hoped a cool creature would protect me. I thought snakes were cool. I had read about Basilisks.... The more my blood spilled, the bigger my Basilisk became. It killed the thieves, and by accident, the destruction it caused killed my parents."

You take a deep breath at the memory. Suguru still doesn't speak up. He knows there's more to come.

" After that I was passed around foster families. I learned that the more opinions I had, the more emotions, the more dangerous I became. I injured several families. Most were abusive. Usually verbally, but some physically. I didn't kill them but they got what they deserved. I don't regret it. Eventually I ran away. I was done being passed around. And then I started fighting curses. I wasn't worth anything as a person anymore, but I realized I am useful as a weapon."

Suguru's mouth is slightly ajar. You did in fact face a lot.

" I've suppressed my opinions. And at this point, I truly don't care anymore. At the end of the day we're all people, and we all die anyway, so who cares. I don't care who eventually dies first. Even if it will most likely be me."

Suguru is speechless.

" I- I'm sorry you had to go through that."

You smile lightly at him, shaking your head.

" It's alright. I ended up meeting you, Satoru and Shoko after all."

He smiles slightly in response.

" Y/N."

He steps closer, pressing a gentle kiss to your forehead, crossing a line.

" Just know that you're so much more than a weapon."

Your eyes are wide as you look up at him, your heart skipping a beat. His own eyes visibly soften as he looks at you too.

-

Suguru has killed an entire village. You know why. Something must've set him off. Haibara's death was already heavy for him, you don't doubt that something in the village has set him off as well. Satoru is refusing to believe so. You know better. You're well aware of his ever growing disdain for non sorcerers after all. The other day, he's asked to see Satoru in the city. He had explicitly asked you not to come. It made you feel a little insecure, scared.

Was he abandoning you?

You don't know. You hope not. You've come to the realization that you love him. You like to think he loves you too, even if he's never outright said so.

Currently, You're taking a walk along the outskirts of Tokyo, enjoying the peace the surrounding forest offers.

" Y/N."

Suguru.

You don't turn around to face him just yet, your mind guiding you to the depths unnecessarily. Had he come to break up with you? Tell you he would abandon you?

Your insecurities are silly, but then again, you simply don't know better.

" It's quite risky for you to be this close to the school."

He hums, approaching you, gently turning you around to face him, intertwining your fingers with his. Once you're face to face again, he smiles at you. His own, heartfelt smile. Finally, after all this time.

" Yeah, well, had to come get my girl, right? "

You smile at the implications of his words. Up until now, your affection had never really been spoken about. You kissed, held hands, cared for one another. Basically did everything a couple did, without speaking about the official label..

" I've come to ask you to join my cause, Y/N. Leave Jujutsu Tech behind. Come with me."

Your smile falters. Ah right, he was probably here to recruit another special grade for his cause.

Noting your expression, he presses a gentle hand to your face, running his thumb over your cheek affectionately as he shakes his head at you.

" Your days as weapon are over with me, Y/N. I want you to be free at my side. You will no longer have to injure yourself as a command. If you ever wish to fight alongside me, you can, of course, but it's not what I'm asking of you. You're safe with me."

Your eyes widen.

Safe.

A feeling that has perfectly described your time with Suguru. You go on missions together, and you come back together.

He takes a step back, smiling as he holds out his hand.

You take it.

In which you meet for the first time.

Arranged marriage au.

In which the first years find out you're engaged, and to whom.

In Which You Meet For The First Time.

An arranged marriage.

You're stunned. But annoyed all the same.

You're surprised too, even though you know that it's odd and useless to feel that way.

As a member of the L/N clan, you of course would've been forced to be married off sooner or later.

Thankfully, the actual marriage won't happen until years later, when you're grown up, an actual adult.

You're only 13 now.

You can't help the scowl on your face as you enter the room your supposed future 'fiance' is in.

Your eyes are quick to connect with a beautiful pair of purple eyes.

You have to admit, he's cute. If you would have seen him across your school, you might've been interested in him.

You'd never dare to make a move on him though, not if you had been in the same school or would have seen him elsewhere. And especially not with these circumstances

Currently, the grudge you hold against him due to this arranged marriage is clouding your judgment. You dislike him even when he hasn't spoken a word to you just yet.

Your eyes stray to the symbols on the side of his mouth. Ah right, his family's technique was cursed speech. Powerful, admittedly. You have a vague idea of how it works, but you can't help but wonder if it affects casual speech too.

" L/N Y/N."

Your introduction is basic.

The boy across from you blushes.

He looks sweet. You shake the thought off.

" Inumaki Toge."

You nod. An awkward silence overtakes the two of you for a few moments.

You don't know what to say.

Your mother had all but shoved you in this room, without further directions or whatsoever.

You awkwardly sit down on the couch in the sitting room, your hands tapping your thighs nervously for a moment.

" Kelp."

You blink as he sits down on a chair across from you, a small coffee table between the two of you.

" What?"

What was that supposed to mean?

He frowns, searching his pockets before pulling out his phone and typing away.

Great. So he's ignoring you now.

" So, uhm, what's your opinion on our situation-"

You pause as he turns the phone to you.

' Sorry, due to my cursed speech technique I can only talk in Onigiri ingredients to avoid accidentally cursing those around me.'

" Oh."

You exclaim softly, understanding him better now.

He turns the phone back to himself, typing away again.

" I don't know how to feel about our situation yet. I always knew I have a chance of ending up in an arranged marriage due to my hereditary technique. I understand if you feel different though. I hoped we could see how things go. We can always fight it if either of us dislike it. I won't force you into marriage with me.'

Your eyes widen at his consideration. This was not what you had expected at all.

The only other person you've met who has a hereditary technique is Naoya Zen'In, and you hate that guy with a passion.

You blush softly at Toge's words, smiling as you nod in agreement.

" I have to admit that I thought more negatively about the situation. But you seem nice. Maybe we should see how things go."

Toge blushes slightly as well, smiling softly as he nods.

It was an uncomfortable, odd situation for the both of you. You're only thirteen, and yet both of your parents have already decided that your lives are to be spent with one another.

He takes his phone back, and for a moment, the two of you are silent again.

" Uhm... What's your favorite onigiri ingredient?"

He smiles at you.

" Tuna Mayo."

Before you even realize it, the two of you are talking, (well, mostly you. He's mostly typing, or answering in Onigiri ingredients when it's a yes or no question), getting to know one another.

At the end of the day, you are nowhere near certain about eventually being married to him, yet you have to admit that you enjoyed spending time with him.

And that you looked forward to the next time you're seeing each other again.

In Which You Meet For The First Time.

[ A/N: Decided to do a small drabble collection of their marriage in little scenarios. Just for the heck of it. Requests about this specific trope are welcome (no guarantee that I'll accept though) ]

In which you officially become a couple.

In Which You Officially Become A Couple.

Inumaki Toge has a crush on you.

Technically, it's not weird.

Technically he's 'allowed' to.

You're engaged after all. Even though you're much too young to get married anytime soon, and even though you are arranged by your clans after all.

Still, he can't help but feel nervous around you. His cheeks tinting pink whenever you talk about something passionately, your smile brightening up his days. He's too young to understand actually loving someone yet, but he's well aware that he very much likes you.

However, he has no idea how to tell you, or let you know.

Thinking about telling you has his hands getting sweaty and cause a fierce blush to spread across his face.

Besides, he can't talk to you. Not like a normal person at least. No matter how much he wants to. Apart from saying your name, he still has to stick to onigiri ingredients.

Communication between the two of you has been getting better, but you're learning to understand without him translating on his phone.

He doesn't mind translating. He often types out entire texts of speech for you when you're having a conversation about something interesting. But it does make communicating his feelings harder.

He wants the words to come from him directly, not by him showing you his phone screen and blinking at you nervously. He has to figure something out.

Body language will have to do, he supposes. He can't tell you, but perhaps he can show you.

Or maybe, he just needs to ask a certain someone for advice. Someone who has probably asked out a lot of girls before.

-

Gojo Satoru blinks at his future student in surprise.

" What?"

He's heard of Toge's engagement to you. How could he not? He's one of the big three clans after all.

However, of all things, he doesn't understand the hassle. You're already engaged. Why not just immediately get married? Besides, of all things he's expected Toge to ask, this had been the very last one.

" Just ask her- "

Toge has to blink in annoyance for Satoru to understand.

" Oh. Right. Okay, new plan!"

-

A few days later, that plan is finally put into action.

You're not in the same schools, so you're meeting up after school. He's already waiting for you at the park, in the city near your school. In his hands, he holds a chinese lantern plant. Originally, Gojo's plan included flowers, but he didn't necessarily like flowers. They weren't permanent. These were. They'd blossom along with your love. Hopefully for a very long time- Unless you'd reject him.

He swallows, hoping the best.

" Toge!"

Turning his head from where he had been staring at the plant, he turns to face you, a smile immediately taking over his features. He shifts the plant to one of his arms, using the other to take your palm in his in greeting, his thumb soothing over your skin.

You smile at him, the tips of your ears turning pink like they always do when he has his full attention on you.

" Hi. Oh, that's a pretty plant, what's it for?"

" Salmon cod roe."

' Wait.'

You blink, watching as he fumbles through his pockets. Eventually, he pulls out an envelope. You're not stupid, nor oblivious. You've caught onto his interest in you since the start. Besides, admittedly, you've grown to like him too.

Nearly a year has passed since you first met him, and you're pleased to say that he's the sweetest person you've ever met. He's considerate, attentive, and kind. (Not to mention extra sweet when you're on your period.) Truthfully, you like spending time with him, and you want to be closer to him too.

He hands you the envelope, his eyes wide as he signals for you to open it.

You do so.

' Dear Y/N,

I know our engagement is arranged and that you were originally not looking forward to spending the rest of your time with someone you couldn't choose yourself. I also know that we originally agreed to see how things go, and to be honest, I like how things are going. I like spending time with you. I like how you're learning my own language, and that it's not holding you back from spending time with me, and I really like who you are as a person. I'd like to spend more time with you. You're always running through my mind, and I want to be with you all the time. You're sweet, but also playful and patient. I'm sorry I can't tell you because of Cursed Speech, but I really like you  and want to be with you, because we want to, and not because we're arranged.

Ps. Please don't feel forced to return my feelings because of our engagement

Pps. The plant is for you. I've been told that pretty girls like pretty flowers, and this one made me think of you : ) '

By the end of his heartfelt letter, Toge is much more nervous than before, and you're grinning widely.

" I'd love to be with you!" You beam, jumping at him and pulling him into a hug.

He lets out a breath of relief, pulling you in close and returning your affection gladly.

Finally, he gets to call you his girl.

Extra:

" Okay, easy, this is what you gotta do!"

Toge is listening attentively to his future teacher.

" First! Get an airplane. I don't remember where you can get one, but there's one that like flies those banners- Which brings me to two! Which is actually one, but whatever. Get a banner. Or make one. One of those cheese ones that simply says 'go out with me' should do the trick. Three! Which actually could be zero, but- rose petals. Everywhere. Girls love that. You can choose any location, but a beach should be great, even though that's really far away. Might want to drive there. Last, maybe hire a mariachi band. Or like a violin player-"

Toge blinks at Gojo as he continues talking. Toge is only 14. How would he even be able to afford any of that?

" Bonito flakes."

Gojo glances at him, finally shutting up. He rolls his eyes, before shrugging his shoulders.

" Ah right, you're only fourteen. Then maybe go for the easy route. Flowers and ask her out. Maybe you can hold the banner up yourself?"

Or, maybe a love letter? Girls like that, right?

In Which You Officially Become A Couple.

Liked this? There's more of this au in my Masterlist : )

ᴛʜᴇ ᴘʀᴇᴛᴛɪᴇꜱᴛ ɢɪʀʟ⋅⠄✯∘⠄✧

Words: 132

Summery: just a cute confession.

"It... it was.." He struggles to find the right words "it was as if there was a voice telling me to like you" he laughed nervously as he rubbed his nape. "It's weird... I know" he gave her awkward closed eyed smile.

"But.." Suddenly he turned serious. "You were just like a dream" he bit his lips as he swallowed the lump on his throat that was keeping him from speaking.

"The prettiest girl I had seen" his cheeks started to become more red as the time went by. "And without even me noticing, I had fallen head over heels for you" He finally confessed.

His heart was beating so loud it felt like it would jump right out of his chest, his hands were cold and shaking waiting for her response.

✎ ∙︓⋅⠄✯∘⠄✧

The guys I feel like would confess like this-

Midoriya izuku, Kirishma ejiro, kenma kozume, hinata shoyo, kageyama tobio, akaahi keiji, sugawara kouhi, oiwaka tooru, matsuno chifuyu, mitsuya takashi, angry and Itadori yuji,

Those are who came to my mind rn but pretty sure there are more.

YOU RANDOMLY CRAWL INTO THEIR LAP — JUJUTSU KAISEN

YOU RANDOMLY CRAWL INTO THEIR LAP JUJUTSU KAISEN

feat : gojo satoru, geto suguru, itadori yuuji, fushiguro megumi + nanami kento.

♱ warnings — fluff!!! sobs this is just so sweet >~<

♱ note — yes yes more fluff after wat feels like forever i am dying here guys!!!

YOU RANDOMLY CRAWL INTO THEIR LAP JUJUTSU KAISEN

・✶ 。゚GOJO SATORU

satoru had been away for a mission for a few days and you’d be lying if you said you didn’t miss him, so you decided you needed a little more attention after you’d sent him for a shower with a few kisses inbetween, walking into the living room after to find him clean and manspread on the couch with an expectant smirk curling at the corners of his lips. but the hum that sounds from his throat when you slide your way onto his lap is the smooth kind of content, his arms immediately hooking around your waist to press your chest against his as he presses a few wet kisses along your jawline with a drawl.

“oh? did you miss me, sweet thing?” satoru grins, low but teasing as he lets his slender fingers trace up the length of your spine, the featherlight touches making you melt against him, before he’s tilting your chin up towards his with his free hand as you roll your eyes playfully with a nod. “yeah? didn’t keep you waitin’ too long f’ me?” he asks again but you know he doesn’t expect an answer when he begins to press his lips against your cheeks — quick, chaste kisses that have you yearning for more as he deliberately avoids your lips, even going as far as to graze over them with his own until you’re grumbling out his name.

but satoru only laughs, mumbling about how adorable you are before he’s finally kissing you softly, and when he breathes out a sigh against your lips you know it’s less because he’s tired and more because there’s a drop in his guard when he’s home.

YOU RANDOMLY CRAWL INTO THEIR LAP JUJUTSU KAISEN

・✶ 。゚GETO SUGURU

suguru was watching a movie as he lay across the couch, even though his attention had drifted to scroll through his phone as he waited on you to come out of the shower. his eyes are a little darker, heavier with sleep when his attention immediately turns to you when you finally walk through the door way, but they still brighten slightly at the sight — his bicep flexed from where it’s supporting his head behind him as he sends you a lazier sort of grin.

“hey, pretty baby.” suguru drawls, scratchy and low and the familiar sound feels like it warms you from the inside out before you’re crawling your way onto his body. you feel the warmth of suguru’s chest immediately when you press yourself against the broad muscle, his hand dropping his phone by his side in favour of hooking it around your waist to pull you close enough for him to smear a kiss along your temple. but you feel a smile threaten to break from your lips when you look up to realise his eyes are already on you, feeling him squeeze affectionately at your sides before he’s shuffling slightly.

“what’re you watching, suguru?” you laugh, turning your attention to the trash tv he’d put on while you were away, “nah, doesn’t matter. got something better now, sweetheart.”

YOU RANDOMLY CRAWL INTO THEIR LAP JUJUTSU KAISEN

・✶ 。゚ITADORI YUUJI

you’d basically had to pry yuuji off of you as you went to get ready for bed, leaving him on the couch with a cute pout as he gave you puppy dog eyes until you were out of view. but you watch your boyfriend immediately perk up again when you walk through the door, night routine done and finally about to give him the attention he’d been missing during the few moments you’ve been gone. but yuuji’s arms wrap around you immediately when you push yourself into his lap, large palms grabbing at your hips to help you get comfortable as he smiles brightly — a soft “yayyy” spoken in the space between you.

“i missed you today, baby.” your blushy haired boyfriend hums when he finally has you on his lap, pulling you close enough for him to nuzzle into the crook of your neck as his cheek smooshes against your shoulder, feeling him wrap his biceps around you tightly as if you’ll disappear if he let go. “i missed you too, yuu.” you hum and your answer seems to make yuuji almost glow with how he brightens after, pulling away to smear a few too many ticklish kisses along your jaw and cheeks before he’s smiling against your lips.

“babyyyy, tell me about your day. do you have to leave early tomorrow? can we cuddle?” he smiles and you feel something burst and heat along your chest at the unfiltered sort of love you hear in his tone.

YOU RANDOMLY CRAWL INTO THEIR LAP JUJUTSU KAISEN

・✶ 。゚FUSHIGURO MEGUMI

you weren’t too sure how megumi was going to react at first, finding him lying on your bed after a quick nap when you came in to wake him, smoothly sliding yourself onto his lap as he blinks the remnants of sleep from his eyes. it takes him a few moments to realise your positioning before his eyes are widening and he’s blinking up at you, a pretty dusting of pink sitting high on his cheeks as his lips jut out into a pout and he huffs. “w-what do you think you’re doing?” he grumbles, and you feel his fingers graze slightly along your calves as he still tries to avoid your gaze.

“i’m waking you up, ‘gumi.” you laugh, and megumi swears the sound makes him feel even warmer underneath you as he tries to hide the way his flush deepens. “y-yeah.. well im awake now.” he huffs again before his fingers are hesitantly grazing their way higher on your figure — featherlight touches along the dips of your body until they’re resting lightly on your waist to tap at the space, and you feel your heart bloom when you notice him stealing quick side glances in your direction. “you okay?” you ask, a little teasing given the effect having you so close seems to have on him, and you know he picks up on it when he grunts below you.

feeling megumi’s fingers tighten slightly at your words before he’s clearing his throat to answer. “tch, yeah. i just—i don’t wanna get up yet.”

YOU RANDOMLY CRAWL INTO THEIR LAP JUJUTSU KAISEN

・✶ 。゚NANAMI KENTO

nanami had been working on a few things at his desk for majority of the day, mostly dealing with a few things for gojo and a few other peoples messes he had to clean up — so you’d decided to take him some coffee as an excuse to see him. there’s a natural furrow in his brows when you first enter the room but something blooms in your chest when you watch the expression soften at your presence — his head turning slowly to send you a gentle sort of smile that’s as handsome as it is tired.

“thank you, sweetheart.” nanami grunts, his voice a smooth lull when you place the cup of coffee down on his table, but you watch his eyes widen slightly when you nudge at his chair — although it only takes a few seconds for him to push it out after. it’s like he can read your mind and you’re thankful that he indulged in one of the more luxury, bigger desk chairs when you find yourself easily slinking into his lap. feeling nanami’s arm wrap around your hips a few seconds later before he resumes his work with the other hand, and you rest your head in the crook of his neck — only to feel his lips press a soft kiss against the dip of your shoulder after.

“not much longer, are you comfortable?” he asks earnestly as his lips move from where they’re resting against your skin, checking every so often to see if you’ve fallen asleep.

simp-council - Reject Modernity, Return to Simping

Sukuna is pissed.

The reason? You moved away from him in your sleep when he wanted to hold you close.

In your own subtle ways, you've always complained about how unaffectionate he is. You didn't explicitly say it, but he did notice how your mood would shift, your pretty little smiles barely masking your disappointment when he would do or say anything remotely cold or mean. And now that he was giving you what you wanted, you just roll away from him, depriving him of your warmth and the affection he expects you to reward him.

How you even managed to escape four of his arms to find your own corner of the bed was a big puzzle to him. You've always slept peacefully pressed to his side on most nights, and you didn't really move much once he had two of his arms wrapped around your frail form. Perhaps you were doing it on purpose after he had evidently upset you during supper by dismissing you when you asked about his day. There was nothing to tell, and though he understands that your concerns came from a good place, he still refused to tell you of the horrors of the world he found himself so deeply embroiled in.

Sukuna, however, brushed off the idea. You wouldn't dare. Or would you? He was just protecting you. Why would you hold that against him?

He chose not to entertain the thought, thinking it was just you moving in your sleep. And so, he reached for you, gently placing his arms over and underneath you to pull you closer. But it hadn't even been a minute of him holding you when you started letting out these seemingly irritated noises and shortly after, you were turning your back on him.

"What –" He stopped himself when you breathed in deeply, half expecting to hear sobs if you were truly upset with him, but then, your breathing rhythm returned to normal. You were still fast asleep.

Sukuna shrugged, already feeling his temper rising at the thought that you could sleep just fine without him. The thought of it annoyed him, and that was an understatement. He decided to move closer to you then, but as soon as he did, pressing your back on his bare chest, you started squirming, a dissatisfied groan leaving your lips.

At that, he rose slightly on his elbow, taking offense. "Woman, what is your problem?" he demanded, making you lie down flat on your back, startling you. "Is something ailing you?" This time, he spoke gently, watching as you slowly blinked up at his frowning face like you haven't got a clue what he's talking about. And then you closed your eyes before favoring your left side, going back to sleep.

"You –"

"What?" you whined without facing him, annoyed that your sleep was being disturbed.

Sukuna scoffed. You've really done it this time. Nobody dared speak to him that way. "What now? You don't want me anymore? I thought you wanted –"

In one swift movement, he found himself being tackled onto the bed as you turned around and threw yourself against him, immediately finding your spot in the crook of his neck. His two left arms instinctively wrapped around you, keeping you cradled in them as you snuggled closer, planting a kiss under his collarbone as if to appease him before you were falling back asleep.

"You could have just stayed like this –"

"Shh."

Did you just shush him? And as if to punctuate it, you raised your hand, your fingers blindly yet tenderly brushing his lips and staying there.

"Wife, you are aware I have two mouths, aren't you?" he spoke against your fingers, fighting a smile.

You moved your head back to smirk at him as you threw a leg over his abdomen right where his other mouth was, your thigh preventing it from saying anything.

"There. Problem solved."

GIMMIE IT I WANT IT

Satoru Loves Loving You

satoru loves loving you

a/n: hi friends !! enjoy this sweet little drabble :3 let me know what u guys think hehe

masterlist

wordcount: 343

thinking about how satoru is the kind of boyfriend to always want to be close to you, holding you, touching you and just being as close physically as he can

he’ll softly ask you if you can put your leg over his, if you could lay on his back when he’s sprawled across the bed or the couch, he’ll link his pinky with yours when you’re out in public, he’d get fiddling if you hold his arm and pull him a bit closer to you

he loves the winter months, because he knows it’ll mean you’re gonna cuddle closer to him, you’ll call him a your own personal heater and put your cold hands or feet on him, making him pout and pull you closer to him. he knows you’d be easy to convince for five more minutes in bed, five more minutes if your body heat and his trapped under the comfort of the covers.

satoru would always take your hand in his when you’re cuddling or sitting next to each other, his longer more calloused fingers playing with yours, tapping along your palm and rubbing up and down your wrist, intertwining his fingers in yours, smiling when your give him a slight squeeze, a reassurance.

i love you

his breath would hitch in his throat when your head lolls onto his shoulder halfway through a movie, your soft, even breathing making his body tense a bit, afraid he’d wake you with any movement of his. he’s let his legs and arms fall asleep, he’s suffer the consequences of his neck hurting and body aching tomorrow. for now, he’ll be your pillow and keep you comfortable.

at night he’s draw pictures on your back, telling you terrible jokes and making up silly stories to go along with the lines he’s tracing on your back, he’d fall asleep with his hand still on your back, only moving it when he wakes up and scoots closer to you, arm snaking around your waist before he’s dozing off again.

satoru gojo just loves loving you

just wondering if you’d think yuuta would be jealous of the first years getting too comfy with s/o like maybe one time s/o called out “yuu” both yuuji & yuuta respond & they’re like 👁👄👁

𝐖𝐇𝐎 𝐄𝐋𝐒𝐄 | 𝐎𝐊𝐊𝐎𝐓𝐒𝐔 𝐘𝐔𝐔𝐓𝐀.

Just Wondering If Youd Think Yuuta Would Be Jealous Of The First Years Getting Too Comfy With S/o Like

you’re sweet, it’s yuuta’s favorite thing about you—a little too sweet at times, but it’s lovable all the same. and yuuta has grown some, he’s not as much of the timid young boy as he used to be. fighting curses and seeing the things he has and training as vigorously as he does is enough to toughen anyone up, and he’s no exception. but still, he’s always remained your kind, sweet, sensitive little yuuta deep down.

and then there’s yuji. yuji is too perfect for his own good. he’s too easy to befriend, too easy to trust, too easy to grow fond of, and too easy to love.

he’s kind, sweet, sensitive, and magnetic. now that’s a deadly combination if he’s ever seen one, and if the way your eyes brighten when you see yuji is anything to base it off of, yuuta would say you think so too.

“yuu,” you call out, a small grin on your face as you approach yuuta and the pink-haired boy beside him, and when both of their heads snap to your direction, yuuta can’t help but feel his stomach churn. “oh,” you pause, blinking for a moment before giggling, “i meant him,” you point to yuuta.

he’s a tad bit relieved that it’s him you’re looking for, or he thinks the churning in his stomach would be infinitely worse. but then yuji smiles bashfully, looks down and lets out a nervous chuckle as he blushes, and then yuuta’s fists clench just a little.

yuji seems rather fond of you, fond enough that it makes yuuta’s heart plummet—and truth be told, it also makes his blood boil just a little.

“oops,” his younger classmate huffs out a soft laugh, “guess i got ahead of myself there,” he murmurs.

“aww, yuji,” you tease, and much to yuuta’s horror, you’re reaching over to pinch itadori’s cheek, and he’s left to wonder—when had you gotten so comfortable that causal touches were a part of the norm? “if you want a nickname you can just say so.”

“that’s not what i meant,” itadori mumbles shyly. “i just…you know…yuji? yuu? i thought it was for me for a second there.”

“it was for yuuta. for me,” yuuta cuts in, and he has to dig his nails into his palm as he clenches his fists, watching you smile gently to itadori. it’s okay, your expression reads, almost like you’re reassuring the boy—but it’s not okay.

your yuu is him—yuuta. not yuji. you’re here for him, to see him, to smile at him and grab his hand and tug him along as he follows. but you’re staring at itadori fondly, and it’s starting to hurt just a little.

“well we can’t both be yuu,” itadori laughs good-naturedly, and if he wasn’t such a gentle soul, yuuta wonders if he’d hate the boy. but there’s no hating itadori yuji—he’s much too good deep in his soul to be hated. “i’ll leave you two alone then,” he hums, patting your head with a happy smile before he’s off.

the touch isn’t even to him, but yuuta feels his skin burn, prickling at every inch as his heart drops.

you turn to him, beaming as your arms nestle their way around his neck, and even if not enough, there’s still some comfort in the action.

“hi baby,” you murmur, pressing a soft peck to his jaw, “i was looking for you.”

and this is silly—this is small, and not that big of a deal, and not even your fault, but yuuta can’t help the doubts that slowly plague his mind. he can’t fight the voices that hunch over his back and whisper into his ear, drowning out the sound of your voice before you can make it all better.

“me?” he asks, and there’s an edge to his voice that almost says he doesn’t believe you. your brows furrow just a little, your hand sliding to cup his cheek and tilt his face to look at you better.

“yes you, silly,” you huff out a small laugh, “who else?”

yuuta wants to mutter that evidently, it could seem like a certain someone, but he doesn’t have the heart to ever be grouchy with you. so he swallows his insecurities, tries to bury them in the deepest of crevices in his mind so they won’t be dug up again—but it’s like he’s digging into concrete, and the ground is too tough, just won’t break to let him shove his feelings down.

“no one,” he mumbles, not meeting your eyes.

and if you decided one day that itadori yuji was the boy of your dreams, that he was the one who could paint your skies and hang the stars just how you’d like them, yuuta doesn’t think he’d be surprised. if itadori is a swirl of vivid shades, colors that could brighten your world and bring you to life—yuuta thinks he pales in comparison, dim hues muddled together that could never show you the world through scenery as breathtaking.

but then your thumb trails over his cheek, tracing the soft curve of his face before hooking under his chin and pulling his face a little closer. he settles for looking at your lips, not yet ready to meet your gaze.

“what’s wrong, baby? what’s got you so down, hmm?” your voice is concerned, a soft breath that rolls off your tongue and soothes over the aches, placating them so easily—but he’s left to wonder: how long?

how long can you keep up the facade that he’s enough for you to happily crave more and more of? how long can you keep looking him in the eyes and getting lost in their depths? how long before enough is simply not enough any longer?

he doesn’t voice his concerns. “nothing,” he shrugs instead. “what are you—”

“don’t say nothing,” you sigh quietly, and by now, your hand has wandered past his shoulder to bury into his hair, scratching at his scalp gently as you twirl the strands of dark locks around your fingers. “it can’t be nothing, you know. no one knows you better than me,” you say with a sense of pride in your voice.

there’s a small bit of hope in that—a small part of him that revels in the victory of knowing you’re prideful that you see past him and catch glimpses no one else can. so he lets himself be vulnerable with you—because even with his doubts, he’s still you’re kind, sweet, sensitive little yuuta.

“just…didn’t know you and itadori knew each other so well,” he finally mumbles. it’s silent for a moment, and yuuta starts to accept that maybe you’re going to say what he knows is inevitably coming after all.

anyone would love to know itadori yuji like that—why should you be an exception?

yuuta wishes it was before he fell so hopelessly for you, wishes it was before the sound of your laugh was a melody he knew by heart—it’d hurt less, it wouldn’t make his lip wobble the way it’s wobbling right now.

“oh, baby,” you chuckle, cupping his face with both your hands, squeezing them together as you pull his forehead to yours, “you don’t have to be jealous. he’s just yuji.”

you offer him a sweet smile and eyes full of light, and he offers you a teary-eyed tilt of his head in confusion.

“but—”

“but you’re yuuta. you’re my yuu,” you whisper against his mouth, breath fanning over his skin before you press a delicate peck onto his lips. it’s short, a little too quick for his liking, but it makes him shiver nonetheless. “and i love you, my pretty boy.”

one more peck to his lip, then two, and then you’re kissing him deeply, grabbing his hands and guiding them to your hips before your arms wrap around his neck once more. he pulls you closer on instinct, and even if yuuta sees himself a muddle of colors, he feels bright hues seep through your lips and color him new—and it’s enough.

he thinks it’s enough, even if just for now.

“you were looking for me?” he asks breathlessly one more time as he pulls away, just to be sure. you watch as his eyes lighten a shade as you nod, smiling when his arms wrap impossibly tighter around you.

“of course, i was,” you press a kiss to his jaw, “who else?”

Just Wondering If Youd Think Yuuta Would Be Jealous Of The First Years Getting Too Comfy With S/o Like

Gojo:

Satoru had never imagined himself as father material. Taken from his parents at a young age, he was raised by distant mentors and silent servants in traditional hallways. That cold, lonely upbringing was etched into his bones. He had vowed that if he ever had a child, they would never know that kind of isolation. So when you told him you were pregnant, something in him shifted—he found himself diving headfirst into the idea of family. He bought a house in Tokyo, in a warm neighborhood, where children's laughter echoed in the streets. He wanted your child to grow up surrounded by love—something he had craved, but never truly had.

It was Halloween night, and Satoru entered the house with a bright grin. The soft click of the door barely registered before your three-year-old daughter came toddling toward him, her arms stretched out wide. Her bright blue eyes sparkled with pure delight, and the sight made his heart swell painfully in his chest. Without hesitation, he crouched down and swept her into his arms, her sweet laughter filling the room like music he never knew he needed.

“There’s my little pumpkin!” he said, his voice filled with affection as he admired her tiny jack-o'-lantern dress. “I could just gobble you up!” He buried his face in her soft chubby cheeks, blowing raspberries as her squeals and giggles echoed in the air. The joy on her face was everything.

You stood by the doorway, watching them with a smile that tugged at your lips. Satoru caught your gaze, and for a brief moment, the world seemed to narrow down to just the three of you. This was happiness—so simple, yet so profound. “You ready for trick-or-treating?” you asked softly, stepping closer.

He straightened up, pulling you into a gentle kiss, his lips lingering on yours just a little longer than usual. His eyes shone with warmth when he pulled back, the kind of love that left you breathless. “Of course I am. This is her first real Halloween,” he said, his voice soft full of amusement, “and she’s not being carried the whole time.” There was a joy in his voice, but also something deeper, a vulnerability he rarely let surface.

Later, the three of you walked hand in hand down the decorated streets of your neighborhood. Your daughter’s small fingers gripped tightly onto yours, her wide eyes filled with wonder as she took in all the costumes, the glowing pumpkins, and the cobwebbed houses. Satoru held her candy bag, watching her every move with a kind of reverence—like he still couldn’t believe she was real, like he feared this fragile happiness could slip away in an instant. The feeling gnawed at him sometimes, that quiet fear in the back of his mind. But for now, he pushed it away, tightening his grip on your hand to ground himself at this moment.

She waddled up to another door, proudly returning with a handful of candy—and a small pack of raisins. Satoru stared at it, blinking in mock disbelief.

“Raisins? Seriously?” he groaned dramatically, tossing it into the bag with a playful scowl. “Who hands out raisins on Halloween? Let the kids have a sugar high!” His whine was exaggerated, but you knew him well enough to catch the hint of protectiveness in his voice—he wanted her to have nothing but the best, even on a night like this.

You laughed, the sound light and familiar, and Satoru’s expression softened as he scooped your daughter up, placing her gently on his shoulders. She squealed with excitement, her little hands gripping his snow white hair for balance as she beamed down at the world. Satoru chuckled, his heart fluttering at her joy.

As the three of you approached the next house, Satoru glanced over at you, a lump forming in his throat. Moments like these—so small, so filled with love—were everything he’d ever dreamed of, but never thought he could have. He wanted to freeze this moment, to hold onto it forever. The thought of losing any of it, of losing you or her, sent a quiet wave of panic through him.

He reached out, intertwining his fingers with yours, holding on just a little tighter.

This was his family. His world. His dream that came to life.

Geto:

You stepped into the living room, your heart warming at the sight before you. Suguru, your husband, sat on the floor, gently helping your one-year-old into a soft bear onesie. Her baby babbles filled the room, and his quiet coos in response wrapped the moment in a kind of peaceful magic. His fingers moved with ease, buttoning up the tiny onesie, his expression one of complete focus and love.

“Ah-ah, no grabbing the hair," he chuckled softly, gently moving her tiny hands away from his inky black hair, which fell just below his shoulders. A smile tugged at his lips as he looked down at her, his voice playful. "Daddy can’t wait for you to grow out of that phase," he teased, although the fondness in his tone betrayed him. He tugged the little bear hood onto her head, her bright violet eyes looking up at him as she babbled, reaching for him again. “You’re going to make the cutest little brown bear, aren’t you?” he whispered, his voice filled with tenderness as he scooped her into his arms.

You couldn’t help the smile that spread across your face, warmth blooming in your chest as you watched them.

Suddenly, the sound of tiny footsteps thundered down the stairs as the twins, Mimiko and Nanako, burst into the room. They had just turned six this year, and tonight they were full of excitement for Halloween. Mimiko was dressed in a little black dress with matching bear ears, going as a black bear cub, while Nanako twirled in a white dress—an impractical choice for trick-or-treating, but she insisted on being a polar bear cub. You and Suguru, in matching park ranger outfits, were there to guide your little bear cubs.

“Well, you both look absolutely adorable,” you chimed, your voice bright with amusement. The twins giggled, bouncing on their heels with barely contained energy, their excitement almost tangible.

Suguru stood up, balancing your youngest on his hip as she reached for her sisters’ ears, her little hands stretching curiously toward them. Mimiko and Nanako burst into giggles, leaning in so their baby sister could touch the soft fabric of their costumes.

“How precious,” Suguru murmured, his voice so quiet you almost missed it. His violet eyes, usually sharp and calculating, softened as he gazed at his girls. In that moment, the world seemed to still. This—his family—was everything. Every challenge, every battle, every dark night that had threatened to swallow him whole, had led him here. To this. The thought made his chest ache, the love almost too much to bear.

But just as the peace settled over him, he snapped back to reality with a mischievous glint in his eye. “Hold on—pictures first!” he announced, moving with determined speed toward the camera.

A collective groan rose from the three of you, knowing full well that once Suguru got into “picture mode,” you were in for a marathon. His insistence on capturing every perfect angle meant this was going to take longer than any of you were prepared for.

“Honey! We have to meet Satoru for trick-or-treating in an hour!” you called after him, your tone part exasperation, part amusement, as you hurried to grab the camera from his eager hands.

A laugh escaped his lips as he turned to face you, his eyes meeting yours with a look so full of affection it nearly took your breath away. Behind that playful, beautiful exterior, there was something deeper—gratitude. A thankfulness that you had stayed with him through his darkest times, through every shadow that had tried to pull him under. You had given him this life, this family, and in doing so, you had brought him happiness and purpose he had once thought impossible.

“I promise it won’t take long,” Suguru chuckled, though the knowing smile on his face said otherwise. You rolled your eyes, unable to help the fond laugh that escaped you.

Nanami:

“Honey, I am so sorry,” Nanami called out the moment he stepped through the front door of the apartment. His voice was tinged with exhaustion, but also with an apology that spoke of guilt. “Did you already—” His sentence cut short, the words dying in his throat as a sigh escaped his lips. His usual stoic expression softened into a gentle smile as his eyes landed on the scene before him.

Your son, perched on the kitchen island, sat with a wooden spoon clutched in his tiny two-year-old hands, covered in flour and batter. You stood nearby, also dusted in flour, your hair a little messy, but your face bright with warmth.

“Surpwise!” your son squealed, his hands outstretched, proudly showing off the wooden spoon caked with batter like it was the best gift in the world.

Nanami loosened his tie as he walked closer, his exhaustion melting into quiet laughter as he took in the sight. “What’s all this?” he chuckled, eyeing the assortment of cookies spread out across the counters. The soft sounds of "Peanuts: The Big Pumpkin" played in the background, filling the apartment with a cozy, nostalgic atmosphere.

“Well,” you began, smiling up at him as you wiped some flour from your cheek. “Our little one here is still a bit too young for trick-or-treating, so we decided to bake! He’s been an amazing little helper, though we’re still working on not eating all the batter,” you laughed, gesturing toward the sticky spoon in your son’s hand. “We’re making pumpkin bread, just for you.”

Nanami’s eyes softened even more, the corners crinkling slightly as he looked down at you with a tenderness that made your chest warm. He got so caught up in work—too often, really—and it wasn’t unusual for him to miss out on little moments like these. The guilt was always there, lingering just behind the tired smiles.

“I’m sorry I couldn’t be here sooner,” he murmured, brushing a hand through his hair, his frown deepening. “Ino-kun needed help on a mission. The poor kid is too young to be handling those kinds of assignments alone.”

You noticed the tightness in his shoulders, the way the weariness clung to him, but before you could offer comfort, his frown deepened. You tilted your head, confused. “Invite him over.”

Nanami blinked, clearly surprised.

“I know Itadori-kun is out with Choso and his wife tonight,” you continued with a grin. “We’ve got way too many baked goods for the three of us. Plus, Ino-kun is great with kids. It’d be nice to have him over.”

Nanami’s expression softened once again, the guilt in his eyes easing slightly as he nodded. “I’ll give him a call.”

And, of course, Takuma came running the moment he was invited, bursting through the door with an enthusiasm that made your son squeal with excitement all over again.

Later that evening, the four of you nestled together on the couch, watching the children’s movie play on the screen. Your two-year-old babbled constantly, munching on cookies and randomly pointing at the TV, too excited to focus on any one thing for long. But eventually, his chatter quieted, and he began to drift off, his tiny head resting comfortably on Nanami’s lap.

Takuma, too, had succumbed to the peaceful atmosphere, falling asleep beside you with crumbs still on his shirt. You gently draped a blanket over him, smiling as he snuggled into it without waking.

Nanami glanced down at the sleeping form of your son, his hand gently brushing through the little one's hair. There was a peacefulness in his expression, a quiet contentment that made your heart swell. These were the moments that made everything else—his work, the stress, the guilt—worth it.

There was something special about this quiet, cozy life you had built together. It wasn’t perfect, but it was yours. And in these small, fleeting moments, it felt like everything you needed.

Choso:

Choso sat beside you on the couch, his brows furrowed in concentration as he wrapped yet another blanket around your pregnant belly. You already had two draped over you, but it was clear he wasn’t taking any chances. This was your miracle baby, the one who had made it past the third trimester after two heartbreaking miscarriages. Choso was determined to make sure everything went smoothly, even if it meant over-preparing for a causal movie night.

“We’re watching Human Earthworm right?” Yuji chimed as he entered the living room, arms full of snacks and his usual bright smile lighting up his face. “It’s perfect for Halloween!”

Before you could answer, Choso’s deep stoic voice cut through the room. “No.”

Both you and Yuji exchanged surprised glances. Choso rarely said no to his younger brother, always indulging his whims. But tonight, his protectiveness was palpable.

“It’s bad for the baby,” Choso continued, his voice unyielding as he placed a gentle hand on your swollen belly. His touch was tender, but his expression was serious. “It’ll scare them.”

You couldn’t help but stifle a laugh, the contrast between his stoic demeanor and his caring nature was always endearing. “My love, it’ll be fine,” you reassured him, but he shook his head firmly.

“No,” he said again, unwavering. He reached over to the side table and picked up a DVD case, holding it up with a hint of determination in his eyes. “We’re watching Mickey Mouse: Halloween Special. I did research. It’s good for babies.”

A wobbly smile formed on his lips, clearly trying to look confident in his decision. His desire to protect both you and the baby was overwhelming, even if it was a bit… over-the-top.

You chuckled, shaking your head. “Maybe not that,” you replied gently, glancing over at Yuji, who was trying to suppress his own laughter but looked more determined than ever.

Yuji nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation but still hoping for something more entertaining than a Mickey Mouse special. “Okay, okay… what about The Nightmare Before Christmas? It’s not too scary, I promise!”

Choso’s frown deepened, his protective instincts kicking in. “No. It has bugs. Scary scenes. You might get frightened, and then the baby will get scared.” His hand never left your belly, as if he could shield your little one from any imagined harm.

After what felt like an hour of back-and-forth negotiations, Choso finally relented. He agreed to The Nightmare Before Christmas—but only on the condition that you promised to close your eyes during any parts he deemed “too scary.” His hand remained firmly on your belly, monitoring for any kicks or signs of distress, his focus unwavering throughout the movie.

Even though you knew it was silly, Choso’s constant vigilance filled you with warmth. It was more than just about the baby. He was watching over both of you, ensuring nothing—no matter how small—would cause harm or discomfort. You leaned into his side, smiling softly. He squeezed your hand in response, his gaze still fixed on your belly.

a/n: I was going to wait until Halloween to post this but I just could not wait! My baby fever was cured (for now) while writing this. I couldn't think of anything good for Toji right now, he's kind of hard to write for.
