What I love most about these two scenes is that they're both a brief glimpse into jonathan and nancy's relationship where there is no supernatural threat, no hyper focus on a task, and there's no drama/sad life events. These scenes are the closest glimpse we have of what they're like in their day-to-day lives. They're super flirty, playful, they take light hearted jabs at one another... there's paper for some reason. I love it.
