So Billy Hargrove needs someone there that can understand him, someone that knows what it’s like going through that stuff. Someone that can show him real love and caring

Fixing a broken and abused boy is never easy, you can’t just come into their lives and expect everything to fix right away. You need to be patient

I feel like many people hate billy because he is mean and stuff but it’s only because of his father and the reason Max doesn’t get affected by it, it because Billy takes the blame. I believe she doesn’t know what billy is going through

His dad tormented him. He was bullied and abused by the man he was supposed to look up to. The man who was meant to take on the role of his sons hero, was just a low life who presented no love or respect for his child. Billy only had himself. Himself to blame. Himself to thank. Himself to trust. Maybe I’m a horrible son, he thought. Maybe I pissed him off, he yelled. Maybe it’s because I’m me, he whispered. Billy was destroyed; and it was all because of him.
