I feel like... KOKICHI would be so confused if you initiated physical contact with him. (that wasn't violent by any means and held no malicious intent)

Like, he dances over peoples boundaries all the time and violates their personal space for shits and giggles, but when you don't seem to mind and actually engaged in it, he's genuinely concerned. Not because you're reciprocating, but because it's him, the least likeable person in the building.

He really wouldn't know what to do with himself in that situation, he just sorta freezes. Be it a hug, headpat, or holding his hand, his response is so delayed he doesn't even register what happened until you're gone.

Please, no one approach him, he's not okay.

Probably avoids you like the plague at first because the things you make him feel is so foreign to him and definitely distracts him from his supreme leader plans.

If he's ever questioned about it, he of course gaslight and denies everything and calls you weird or something but he has a hard time lying directly to you

Thinks you have some ulterior motive and calls you out on it but you're just standing there confused.

Once he figures out you truly are no threat to him, he's in a weird position. For starters, you're not gullible to fall for or aid him in his schemes and second, you're always hanging out with him when you can so he can't get rid of you.

He thinks it's annoying at first but once he gets over his ick with his emotions, he'll constantly align himself in your presence (Because he's touch starved and wants attention) and be his clingy self again.

He'll demand piggy back rides and drag you everywhere because he can.

Definitely becomes a leech and now you're stuck with him for good, not that you're complaining.

Kokichi Being Found Beaten and Bruised By a Implied Male, Detective S/O!

You've been looking for the leader of D.I.C.E. for almost a year now.

Over that time, he began to really like you and enjoy your little game of cat and mouse.

You were a tough and mean detective, whose main goal was to (blow up and then act like you dont know nobody--) track down criminals.

And he loved you and your little tough guy act.

Unfortunately, all good things must come to an end…

A few guys he pranked not to long ago actually caught him.

And they “taught him a lesson.”

He was tired and freezing cold. The snow had fallen already, and the guys left him to die.

He curled up for whatever warmth he had left.

He could feel his consciousness slipping away…

The last he saw before letting the darkness consume him, was someone with a light, rushing over to him…

You found him by complete accident. You weren't even working at the time, just walking home from the store.

Your coat and hair were both lightly dusted with snow, feet crunching under the half inch of snow.

You noticed movement from the shadows of an alleyway.

You expected a stray of some sort, or even just a mouse…

Not the leader of D.I.C.E.

You rushed over quickly.

As much as he pissed you off, you've grown to slightly enjoy his company.

You'd even go as far as to say you had a small crush on him.

You lifted him up without problem, hugging him close to your body. Basically pulling him into your coat with you.

You quickened your pace to a sprint so you could get home faster, taking note of the petite boy’s injuries.

Once you had arrived and got inside, you immediately sat him on the couch and rushed to get a first aid and a rag with warm water.

None of the injuries would have been deadly but the exposure to the snow had also given him blistering over the wounds. Even when unconscious, you could tell he was in pain.

You wiped down the wounds with the warm rag before carefully applying disinfectant and bandaging the wounds.

You had to take off his “supreme leader” uniform to get to all the wounds as the worse ones were on his stomach.

With all the wounds bandaged, you went upstairs and grabbed a long-sleeved shirt of yours. You had no clothes that would fit him, but maybe it's for the best.

. . . .

He woke up around 10AM.

He hadn't even the slightest clue as to where he was.

What he did know was that this wasn't the alleyway he passed out in, nor was it anywhere in D.I.C.E.

This wasn't his shirt either.

It took a few seconds to remember what had happened, and then it was almost instant to realize whose room he was in.

How did he find out?

Maybe from the man himself digging around in his dresser drawers.

They both made eye contact for a few seconds before the one spoke up.

They talked a bit, Ouma explained what had happened to him and you explained why you didn't immediately turn him in.

Your reasoning was simple.

You didn't think it was fair. He was unconscious and injured. You didn't want to be unfair to him.

He was… so happy and hopeful you said that.

He spent the rest of the day being babied by you as it was obvious he was sick, even though he tried to deny it.

Even though you guys are supposed to be “mortal enemies”, you two really cared for one another. Just in your own ways.

He'd be on the run again the minute he was well, but he'd always remember your address.

kokichi was not well liked and he knew that. being trapped in this school for gifted juveniles with sixteen other students - that number slowly dwindling - only made it worse. everyone believed that cooperation with each other would be best to defeat the headmaster named monokuma, but kokichi knew that wouldn’t work. this was a sick game that wanted everyone to fall into despair, if everyone corporates they’ll be hit with a even bigger motive then someone will die and that fake trust they had for each other would go down even more.

yet kokichi didn’t need everyone to like him, just one person, s/o was the only person he actually trusted and despite the constant lies he told, they trusted him too. they were someone he knew he could depend on even if others wouldn’t stand behind him. he could let his facade down in front of you, he didn’t like this killing game; actually he despised it with his entire being. he doesn’t want anyone else to die, he wants to confront the mastermind.

the morning announcements had went off not long ago and the remaining students- excluding kokichi - had met in the dining hall as usual. you sat alone in the corner eating breakfast waiting for kokichi to arrive, it did worry you when he didn’t appear at the same time as everyone else, but you don’t want to imagine that someone might’ve done something over night.

“gonta has plan,” the ultimate entomologist breaks the silence gathering everyone’s attention. you look up, also interested in what he would say. “gonta will fight exisals so everyone else can escape.”

“are you crazy! they’ll kill you!” tsumugi exclaims.

“what are you guys talking about?” kokichi opens the door to the dining hall making a beeline towards where you were sitting.

“gonta wants to fight the exisals so we can all escape.” you tell him. kokichi laughs, “wow gonta you really are dumb.” everyone goes silent.

“you’ll just end up dying, but i guess that’ll make the killing game even more fun so go ahead ahead and do it!”

“kokichi-“ shuichi begins but is quickly cut off. “in fact, i plan on winning this killing game and i don’t care if i have to become a blackened to do so. only two people have to survive right? so it’s gonna be s/o and i, all of you will di-“

kokichi didn’t even get to finish before kaito punches him on his face. “you always been weird but this is a different level kokichi, you need to get your shit together.” kaito states staring that the boy.

kokichi says nothing, his hair covering his face only thing visible is the red mark that was on his cheek. he walks off in silence leaving everyone in the dining hall, “seriously how the hell do you deal with him? are you seriously okay with what he’s saying?” kaito asks you.

everyone’s eyes turned to you and you freeze, what could you say? you knew kokichi was lying but even if you tell them that his motives will still be unclear to everyone else. you stand up running out of the dining hall without saying anything, you had to know if kokichi was alright first.

it took multiple tries but kokichi finally opened his door for you, you locked it behind yourself both of you sitting on his bed.

“are you alright?” you whisper resting your fingers in his hair, he closes his eyes leaning into your touch. he shrugs, “my face seriously hurts,” he says. you smile slightly pressing a light kiss to his swollen cheek.

“i’m sorry i should’ve stepped in,” you admit, kokichi looks at you. “no you shouldn’t have, if kaito would’ve punched you i would’ve killed him.” he gives you his signature smile but it drops seconds later.

you both sit in silence for a moment before you stand up taking your hand out of his hair. “c’mere,” you murmur pulling him off the bed heading towards the bathroom.

“s/o if you wanted to see me naked you could just said so,” he teases. you roll your eyes, “not like that dummy,” you turn on the water plugging the tub so the water would fill it. “take a bath, alright? i’ll be right back.” kokichi looked confused but went along with your request. you shut the bathroom door behind you, leaving his dorm to grab his favorite snacks.

when you returned kokichi was already finished sitting on his bed, you hand him the snacks and sit next to him. “sorry that is not really a breakfast but you haven’t ate yet so…” you trail off.

kokichi says nothing and opens the snacks, “thank you s/o.” he says and you nod. the silence didn’t last for long, after building up the courage you said, “you know i care about you right? you can talk to me about anything at all.” you place your hand on his cheek so he’d look at you.

kokichi sighs, “i know s/o, and there are things i’m not telling you just so i can protect you. “ he admits.

even though there were multiple times kokichi had opened up to you, it still shocks you. he was letting he walks down one by one for you, showing how much he trusts you. “i want to protect you too y’know.”

he says nothing pushing you lightly so you were laying down, he rests he head on top of your chest. you immediately wrap your arms around him feeling him sigh into your touch.

“when we get out of here,” he says, “i want you to meet d.i.c.e”

you were guessing that was the name of his organization, he’s never really talked about it before or told anyone the name of it.

“i can’t wait to meet them, i bet they’re amazing just like you.” you say. you feel him smile against you.

“yeah they’re cool, but no one’s better than i am.” he says. there’s the kokichi you knew and love, you use your other hand to ruffle his hair. “of course not! you’re the best.”

it was silent again, you let your eyes travel across his room. evidence from past cases were everywhere, even a board with everyone’s picture on it and how trustworthy they were. you being the most trustworthy and shuichi having “trustworthy?” (or is it stay cautious, in the japanese ver. i heard it was that) scribbled under his name. everyone else was labeled suspicious or weird.

“s/o…” kokichi breaks the silence first. “please don’t die. i don’t want to be alone here.” he whispers. you look down at him rubbing your hand across his back. “i don’t want anyone to die but if you-“ he pauses.

“i’m not leaving you.” you state. “don’t die on me either, i love you kokichi.” you press a kiss you his forehead.

“i love you too s/o.”

Affection starved Kokichi x Reader One-shot: Dancing at a Distance

Being with Kokichi Oma was a rather strange experience. You always had company yet after that moment, you feel lonely. You were happy but when looking back on your time together, it was sad. It was an almost surreal experience. Though he was a liar you had no doubt he cared about you and yet…

“Hey, Oma… care to dance with me?” You never knew you could get so many answers from that one simple question, but no matter how he phrased it, no matter how he ‘danced’ around the question, the sentiment was the same. No. You didn’t want to be pushy, but any explanation would have been appreciated, even a fake one,  or ‘I just don’t want to’, but he never gave you anything to work with, it seemed he more so didn’t answer at all. And so, you were left alone as he watched you from a short distance, just as he did all other times.

On one particularly nippy autumn night you found yourself unable to sleep. Perhaps it was your increasing worries about your relationship, perhaps it was the fact you had excess energy from sitting around all day hardly moving around, whatever the reason, you were still just laying in bed staring up at the ceiling… Maybe it was the fact that the world seemed to be dead silent. No rustling of the wind, not even the smallest moan or creek from the seemingly hollow dorm building. Just silent. The kind of silence that would allow one to hear their own gentle calm heartbeat.

After getting dressed in some loose clothing other than your pajamas, you took your boombox, small box of cassette tapes and left your room.

As the Super High School Dancer not many would assume you’d like the old bulky music equipment so much, but you did. You liked hearing the buttons and pieces inside make those satisfying click noises as you set up everything. Before Kokichi came crashing into your life, your main hobby was transferring new music onto cassette tapes. There was just something about… for lack of a better word, booming, sound of the old boombox. It was like the difference between listening to a recording of an orchestra and hearing one performed live before you. You can feel the music instead of just hearing it. Sure, you could use a modern boombox, but it wouldn’t have the exact same sound or feel, it’d be a little off.

You trotted your way out to the field as to blast the music without disturbing anyone’s sleep. You hummed feeling the slightly damp grass beneath your feet. Gently placing the boombox and box of cassettes down you quickly began set up. Now, what to play you wondered. Maybe something for quickstep since the fast-paced dance tired you out faster than most other forms. After placing the cassette in you quickly backed up from the boombox, ready to dance. You felt that joyous anticipation bubble up inside as the intro played… A-and played again? Maybe the intro was longer than you remembered… Okay, no, there was something wrong. Confused, you took out the tape. There didn’t appear to be anything wrong with it, and you weren’t entirely sure if this was a problem you could have with tapes. Perhaps something was wrong with the boombox? You decided to test this theory and placed another tape in… The intro was the same but a completely different song was played with the same instruments as the intended song. “You have got to be kidding me.” That smile you tried repressing kept growing wider and wider as you placed in more tapes, finding each one had some silly quirk.

“Nishishi. Y/N, you came!” Suddenly you were tackled from behind, being hugged so tightly. You tried sighing in annoyance, but it came out more as a soft chuckle. “Where’s my tapes?” “Hmm? What tapes?” “… Look we can play some other time, but right now I need my music to dance to so I can tire myself enough to get to sleep.” “W-what? Sleep? Y/N how could you!?” He began crying those crocodile tears as he nuzzled his cheek against your own. “You show up to our super-secret meeting only to abandon me! How can you be so mean!?” You rolled your eyes at his theatrics. “… Okay, I’ll bite. What’s this secret meeting about?” You raised a hand up, gently running your fingers up his neck and through his hair. After a moment he flinched and quickly backed away. Turning around you saw he had a small pack on him. He must have been on his way to set up some prank before hearing his tapes being played. “Planning our crime spree tonight!” “No.” “Whaaat? Y/N, I know you’re new to D.I.C.E. so I’ll let you off easy this time, but I’m the Boss, you have to at least listen to me.” “I’m not a part of your gang, I’m your partner.” “Yeah! My partner in crime, love crimes!” He looked absolutely giddy with sparkling eyes as he leaned in closer and closer, the tips of your noses touching. “… How would one even go about committing a ‘love crime’?” “Oh, Y/N, being so cheeky, like you don’t know.” His eyes narrowed on you as he wore that sharp smirk. “You stole my heart; I stole yours. Now, I want to work with you. Let’s go on a date, right now!” “Dude. It’s one in the morning or something.” “Yes, and…” “… Fine, hopefully this’ll tire me out enough to get to sleep.” Happily cheering Kokichi took the boombox and box of fake cassette tapes before bolting, leaving you to chase after him.

Kokichi Oma

Okay, first thing first this little gremlin is going to annoy you CONSTANTLY! He'll follow you around everywhere you go and you'll hear that "Nishishi" laugh of his a lot. Of course, you'll hear him laugh a lot whenever he's playing a prank on someone.

Speaking of which! He'll either prank you a lot or invite you to play pranks on others such as Miu and Gonta. If he ends up pranking you then he'll run away as soon as the prank is done while you case him around for pranking you.

Don't ever try to hide anything from him or even lie to him. Because if you do you'll find yourself getting kiss after kiss from Kokichi until you confess to him what's worrying you.

If you're ever talking with another person, especially a guy he'll get super jealous! Even worse if it's his rival Shuichi! You like that side of him as you get to see his cute pouty face!

He can be super clingy with you when he feels like he's not getting enough attention. He'll hold onto your arm or leg and dramatically cry about how you "Don't love him anymore." You know he's faking it but still doesn't make any less embarrassed, especially around other people.

Of course, he introduces you to the members of DICE! They're all very nice and your happy Kokichi has such amazing friends like them. Of course, if you want you can become a member of DICE as well the number of pranks will double with the other members around!

As I've mentioned before Kokichi can be super clingy! This is the same for whenever you two are cuddling. If you're laying down for example he'll curle up in your embrace ready to spend hours cuddling you.

Rantaro Amai

Just like how Kokichi is a guy who will annoy you constantly. Rantaro is a guy who will tease you CONSTANTLY! But he just can't help himself he loves seeing your cute reaction whenever he teases you!

He has the warmest and softest hands and loves holding your face and looking at you lovingly. This is the same for cuddling it's one of his favorite things to do with you. He loves having you sit in his lap while he wraps his arms around you.

Of course, he has you meet all of his sisters. You were a little nervous since he has so many of them. But Rantaro reassured you everything would be fine. He was right all his sisters love you and are so happy for you and Rantaro!

Rantaro is a person for PDA! He loves holding your hand or just hugging you when you're out in public with him. If you're in school with him he'll pass notes to you with "I love you <3" written on them.

He can be rather overprotective of you at times. It's just his brotherly instinct tho from caring for all his sisters. So he'll pull you close to him whenever you're talking to a person he doesn't know or trust.

You know how much Rantaro likes to travel and explore. If you don't go with Rantaro whenever he does out on a trip. He'll always return with souvenirs that reminded him of you.

He'll help you in the mornings whenever you're getting ready. He'll help you with your hair, makeup, or anything else. Again something he's used to doing with his sisters but loves doing it with you.

He loves seeing you when you wake up in the morning. He gets to see a side to you not much others see. Loves giving you kisses whenever you wake up.
