Hi, Tumblr. It’s Tumblr. We’re working on some things that we want to share with you. 

AI companies are acquiring content across the internet for a variety of purposes in all sorts of ways. There are currently very few regulations giving individuals control over how their content is used by AI platforms. Proposed regulations around the world, like the European Union’s AI Act, would give individuals more control over whether and how their content is utilized by this emerging technology. We support this right regardless of geographic location, so we’re releasing a toggle to opt out of sharing content from your public blogs with third parties, including AI platforms that use this content for model training. We’re also working with partners to ensure you have as much control as possible regarding what content is used.

Here are the important details:

We already discourage AI crawlers from gathering content from Tumblr and will continue to do so, save for those with which we partner. 

We want to represent all of you on Tumblr and ensure that protections are in place for how your content is used. We are committed to making sure our partners respect those decisions.

To opt out of sharing your public blogs’ content with third parties, visit each of your public blogs’ blog settings via the web interface and toggle on the “Prevent third-party sharing” option.

Hello, fellow rpers. My name is Tiffany. I’m the Vise President of Night Seoul College directory. You may be wondering why I’m making this post. At the moment I am I very livid and destroyed admin. I have never felt so much anger before. 

There is a directory under the name of Troublexx. This directory is run by a former admin of NSC. Another admin of Troublexx is also a former member of NSC. This is not my problem. I have no problem with former family members of mine leaving and starting their own directory. What the problem is, is that these two individuals are trying to destroy my directory, my family, MY HOME in the process of building theirs. To my understanding, one of Troublexx’s admin’s have ADMITTED to coming to our members individually, convincing them to leave us and go to their directory. I get that you want to advertise yourself but that is NOT the way to do so. It has also come to me attention that the former admin of NSC that now controls Troublexx went back into our directory and stole from our files. NOT ONLY DID SHE STEAL FROM OUR DOCUMENTS BUT SHE WENT INTO OUR INBOX AND DELETED OUR PENDING APPLICATIONS. To make matters worse, said admin applied to our directory again under another muse and fake information. For what reason and purpose that served? No idea. 

THIS DISGUSTS ME. WE HAVE DONE NOTHING TO DESERVE THIS. NOTHING. THESE PEOPLE ARE THE REASON WHY ROLEPLAYERS CAN’T ALL GET ALONG. WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE? 

I seriously hope I am not the only person that thinks this is wrong. I want this message to get out that Troublexx is run by people who are purposely trying to ruin another directory. IS THAT THE KIND OF FAMILY YOU WANT TO BE APART OF? Please help me get this message across to people.
