Drew this when Echoes of Wisdom was first announced, now I'm posting it again since the game was released the other day
Trying to stay spoiler free for a new Zelda game while being on the internet is like trying to live with a pet without constantly cleaning up its hair. You just lose your sanity trying
the paternal urge to sit your potential future children down and have them watch you play The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past like your forefather did for you

Stole some colors from link to the past to draw a Link and an overgrown Mastersword ^^
Spoilers for TOTK below the Line
Imagining a future where the Mastersword is left to grow for far longer then was originally planned, and long after the defeat of its intended rival.
Link would have to wield it as a heavy greatsword.
Plot Summary:
Long after the events of TOTK, remnants of Draconified Ganendorf have coalesced in the lost woods and are causing troubles.
A fresh new Link of a new time needs the Mastersword to harm the enemies there, as they are all bits of Ganendorf.
The Mastersword is carried by a princess of old who, with the council of Mineru, pleads with Link to collect special items that will aid her. (She refuses to give up the last memento of her hero otherwise.)
It is revealed that the ghost of Mineru was the one speaking, and she uses the gathered baubles to separate Zelda's soul from the power of the light dragon, allowing her to move on to the afterlife while the dragon, no longer happy to have a sword stuck in its head, needs to have it shot off by a crafty Link.
The Light Dragon flies off peacefully if a lil grumpily.
Link uses the Mastersword to clean shop in the lost woods, scattering Ganendorf's essence to the winds.

Just beat A Link to the Past! What a legendary game, man. That was the main start of everything (ofc, the original games started everything, but most of the music and Zelda formula stemmed from A Link to the Past.)
Honestly, the game still holds up today, it was so fun.
Now I just have Link's Awakening, Oracle of Ages and Seasons, A Link Between Worlds, and Skyward Sword to go! (All the games that I want to play (and have the means of obtaining lol))
