I would like to thank Netflix personally for this whole video- 😭😭🤧

If the Pines family ever did a lip sync or karaoke battle, I’d like to think Mabel- to break people’s expectations of her singing a cutesy song- would pick “All I Do Is Win” by DJ Khaled and crush it(the version would be clean and Mabel would be older like 15). I also headcanon Stan lip syncing to “All Stars” to playfully mess with Ford(that’s the only way you can get to do it). 

What songs do you think the Pines would lip sync to, especially Dipper and Ford?

That ol’ chart of mine makes the rounds online periodically and it drives me crazy because it’s frankly not very good. So, I finally got around to remaking it.

I doubt this will get anywhere near as popular, but I wanted to make it.

Too lazy to animate the last part and any other body movements. I only really focused on getting the lip syncing today, so I’ll probably add that tomorrow when I clean this up a bit (going from sketch to line art + color). Never done lip syncing before, but I’m enjoying how this looks so far considering it’s my first time! I think body movements would make it look a lot better too.

Ignore MK in the background whimpering, this was the only snippet of audio I could find for him that fits the expression. ;-;

I made this Extremely Basic mouthchart for my students to help them learn what Basic shapes are associated with what sounds. Made with 2d builds in mind, as thats the most common 2d work in my area.

Every single project has its own show style regarding lipsync, so this NOT the be-all-end-all. You and your projects arent beholden to these suggestions, theyre purely a jumping off point.
