Sky's wearing different clothes here, because this drawing is out of an AU I call ''Golden Boys AU'', where instead of joining Macaque, Sky picks up the staff along with MK, and after some arguing Monkey King decides to teach them both. In this AU Sky also doesn't find out they're a demon up until season 4 when they get trapped in the memory scroll. That's because in this version, Monkey King sealed his demon powers, and didn't tell her. His logic was that Sky should be able to live a relatively normal life, seeing how reluctant he was to be MK's partner in fighting demons. Plus, Sky was completely oblivious to the fact, and Monkey king didn't know how they would react or how to tell them.

Yeah, that's pretty much what that AU is about.

i have a small headcanon that mk became just a 'little bit' more flexible after he became a monkie, and that this happened when he went to stretch for the first time after the change
