My best friend and I came up with the best idea for a future lmk episode. It's completely self indulgent and we're very delusional but stick with me.
Double Wedding episode.
IT'S SHADOWPEACH AND FREENOODLES THEY ACCIDENTALLY DECIDED TO HAVE THEIR WEDDINGS ON THE SAME DAY AND MK SUGGESTS A DOUBLE WEDDING
AND ONLY TWO THINGS GO WRONG. Mk absolutely ruins his suit and he and mei have to run around and find a new one 5 minutes before the weddings actually start AND Redson, DBK, Sandy and Nezha lose all 4 rings they were supposed to keep safe (Redson and Sandy had the Freenoodles rings and DBK and Nezha had the shadowpeach rings) and have to go and find them before the wedding starts (this is just the 4 rings of samadhi stuff mixed with the tangled wedding short)

Obviously someone of the characters wouldn't act exactly like their sk8 counterparts but the general premise is there. Yes, DBK is dead I had to kill him for this BUT REDSON STILL HAS A MOM SO IT'S FINE! Also I know some might think that pigsy would work better as Shadow but Reki works for Oka and MK works for Pigsy it makes sense! I'm just now remembering that Sandy would work really well for Shadow but honestly I find it funnier if he was just MK's parent, cause we see Reki's mom so Sandy is just gonna be MK's guardian AND BAI HE CAN BE HIS LITTLE SISTED OMG MY BRAIN! This is making me too happy I'm having too much fun with this.
I think Shadowpeach as Matchablossom works a little too well honestly. I'm just now realizing how similar some of these character dynamics are and honestly I'm living for it. Let me know if y'all want more of this or if you have any thoughts on this au!

Kinda opposite of MK doesn’t understand/misunderstands demons courting where instead MK totally understands demon courting cause Pigsy is his dad and did that with Tang (Or as Pigsy says Tangs such a freeloader he basically kidnapped himself and wouldn’t leave)
Red Son doesn’t realise MK knows about demon courting and instead he researches human courting and does that so there’s no misunderstandings and he can do this the proper way… only MK doesn’t get human courting.
He only knows about demon courting (Tang may be human but honestly, he’s spent so much time researching JTTW and demon courting that he knows that and all those different varieties more than human courting and dating) so he doesn’t get what Red Son is doing
Even Mei doesn’t really get it because she only knows about dragon courting.
Red Son is trying to do things the proper human way only MK has no idea about the human way.
MK: Red gave me more flowers
Pigsy: What is that kid doing trying to change this in to a florist?
Tang: Are any of them ones that could release sleeping powder maybe he’s trying to do an elaborate kidnapping
MK: No just roses… why would he give me roses?

Bonus: MK eventually takes a page out of Tangs book and kinda just kidnaps himself and won’t leave Red is very confused cause wait this isn’t the human way this is the demon way.
PIF and DBK are just very approving they have no idea why Red’s been doing all that human stuff at least the little thief took some incitive. Now they may finally get to plan the wedding.

Around 3 years ago I had some anxiety issues, one of the main things that I thought it wasn't self harm for so long was the fact that when something that involved other people went wrong because of a choice of mine (even just minor inconveniences) the pain of guilt was so strong that to turn it down I had to physically sting my skin with my nails. (I play guitar, so I always have a hand with longer nails to play arpeggio). Never it went to the point that it would bleed, but bc of that I thought It was no problem. Thanks to my therapist I know that just because it wasn't the "typical" self harm doesn't mean it wasn't a serious issue.
All of this to say that I might be projecting a little. And honestly I can't even imagine how terrible Wukong might feel everytime the guilt comes back to him...
